Rarely Posted Image of Aaliyah w/ Sugar Ray lead singer, Mark McGrath backstage of a photoshoot for Teen People (which the magazine would be released posthumously OCTOBER 2001). This would be her last magazine photoshoot before her passing.

McGrath shared memories that he had of Aaliyah……. "I was blown away at how friendly she was. She was concerned about how I was - if I was feeling okay, if I was uncomfortable. You don’t get that from many stars at her level, and I was really impressed by that. She had such a full career ahead of her…It’s truly sad. What struck me about her was how down-to-earth she really was. She was just an angel of a human being. " -Mark McGrath
