Hero of Bombs AU (original concept by @mipmoth)

The crossover I didn’t know I desperately needed but do indeed desperately need, & thanks to Tears of the Kingdom, we do have Bomb Flowers & all manner of projectiles for Ingo to throw at baddies, or to Link in a pinch! 💣

I’d go back to their original comic now & again (partially because Legends Arceus really reminds me of BotW), where Moth imagines Ingo in BotW Hyrule with the popularly feral Link. In this AU of their AU it’s more or less the same, except Link is cured of his amnesia, & wants to help Ingo with his, as well as help him go home.

HISUI PMD AU

So I’ve been going through a bit of another rough period lately and have turned back to my DS system, one of the few gaming consoles that doesn’t seem to terribly hurt my hand (yay!!)

I picked up PMD Sky again, and seeing as I had reset my file at some point but didn’t make a new one, I inserted Ingo and Akari into it — Cyndaquil for Ingo (hero), and Eevee for Akari (partner)!

I think it’s very fitting since Hero character has total amnesia except for remembering their name, and Partner character is someone with an outgoing personality who’s just joining a guild.

I’ve been getting really attached to it, and so I’ve been thinking about a little AU with some adjustments to it. Hence these doodles I’ve been working on for the last few days (mostly warmups/practice to try and tighten linework with my non-dominant hand, so no hatching or handwritten words for this one ^^;).

I may develop more to this. It’s been so so fun!!

submas soul eater au! ingo and emmet are both weapons that wield eachother

extra info:

- their weapons reflect how each of them fight -> ingo hits hard and makes it count vs emmet who’s quick and agile so they balance eachothers weaknesses

- they run a train which runs outside of death city and across the country ; due to frequent attacks from kishin, they were stationed there to protect the train and it’s passengers

- of the two, emmet has the larger soul and is able to use soul perception. ingo’s soul is smaller, but he has a much stronger resistance to madness

for the record, melli is usually very anti-pokeball. that being said, he wasn’t about to try and corral a “zoroark” back to the icelands without some means of containment, so he used the ones ingo gave him for emergencies.

Dystopian AU - Prologue

When there's strange activity sighted at the peak of Mt. Coronet, not long after the rift above it was closed, Adaman, Irida and Ingo all rush up there to see what's going on. There they find Rei and a set of glowing stairs leading up into the sky. What happens next is something none of them are prepared for.

I've finished the prologue for this AU! since coming up with this idea initially... well, forever ago, it's finally coming to life! next up will be the first chapter! please look forward to it! also, for anyone curious to know more context about this au, please check out this post!

Hero of Bombs - Edit 2

I had been making cleaner images for PMD Ingo and Akari to put them alongside the other characters, and decided to clean them up a little as ref sheets for art fight! All the info on these are basically the exact same as the initial reference image, so it’s not any new information.

I’m on vacation right now and wifi is incredibly spotty, but I am hoping to participate at some point this month!!

- when trying to intimidate his foes, emmet will usually cover his mouth to hide his near constant smile

- emmet’s weapons of choice are his twin swords, made of blessed gold and iron, both of which are engulfed in holy fire

Ingo’s fighting very hard to retire from Wardenship after seeing a whole train fall from the sky and land on the other side of Hisui. Unfortunately, this is a track he can not disembark until either him or Sneasler become permanently indisposed.

He’s also doing great! Don’t worry about it!
