Unwanted hair is probably one of the most annoying outward physical symptoms of PCOS. After months of lookin into laser removal, I found out that it doesn't work well (or at all) for women with PCOS since we tend to have thicker hair that grows faster than others. This is due to elevated testosterone levels, which are negatively impacted by certain types of foods. #pcosawareness #strongerthanpcos #pcoswarrior

Did you know that September is PCOS Awareness Month? PCOS, poly cystic ovary syndrome, is something that so many women have, but many people have no idea that it even exists. I didn't know about it until one my closest friends was diagnosed, then a year later, I was diagnosed (since then I've met so many wonderful women impacted by it, too.)
