About Mouse - Part 1 (a True Crime documentary)

This is a research paper dedicated to the mysterious legend of a girl simply known as “Mouse.” There is no other name given, and the person in question has been missing for about six years, believed dead. It is believed that she was, at oldest, eighteen years old when she died. Recently, stories and legends of Mouse have begun to surface online, but there has been little actual research done, and sources have rarely been checked. The legend of Mouse is slowly fading into absurdity due to the internet exaggerating the already twisted stories. I decided to see if I can track down any who might have known this girl, to see what was going on in these stories. Many of the accounts I have been able to find have taken one of two viewpoints; the first, a child or young person who was in trouble (often either homeless, lost, or being mugged in an alley) and who was rescued and brought to some form of safety by Mouse. The Second, criminals and members of organized crime factions that went toe-to-toe with this young woman and ended up in jail or worse. In this paper, I will be tracking down those who knew this person best to see if we can get an understanding of what really happened all those years ago.             The first candidate I tracked down is a public figure, Magda Thoroughgood, is a professional wrestler who has recently moved to Japan to pursue her career. The internet has linked her to Mouse several times, but she refused to acknowledge the situation, until now. In this transcription, you will get her side of our correspondence.

Heads up, I'm worse at bio's and summaries than Angel, so don't expect amazing summaries and bios here. That being said, these characters are fleshed out, so feel free to send asks!

General Info:

This universe Takes place in the US, Modern day or in the last couple years

Here in this version of the states, there is a slow emergence of strange supernatural tendencies in some individuals. Sure, there's always been rumors of witchcraft and the like, but this seems more tangible than crystals. People range in power from "Can and will burn down the city if pushed to far" to "Has uncanny powers of perception" to just "a normal guy with a baseball bat"

In the small town of Smithsberg in Oregon, we have a simple babysitting company, focused on bettering the community and ensuring all the children in the neighboring counties have appropriate support. Just ignore the occasional federal agent asking one or two many questions about the nice young women running the place. They've lived here for years, surely people would know if something's wrong... Right?

Scattered across the states are a few other friends, who call themselves streetrats. They grew up in rather unfortunate circumstances but are totally normal now. They mostly work in entertainment now, actually. After all, con artist skills transfer very well into several industries. It's just a pity no one has heard from a few of them in so long. Surely they're not dead, are they?
