Finishing watching the acolyte was such an experience bc on one hand i think the fight scenes were amazingly choreographed and a lot of the characters were endearing and it was a refreshing take on the star wars universe with some pretty solid (but not amazing) acting and pacing.

Then on the other hand it completely butchers the jedi order and on multiple occasions blames them for their own genocide by having an outwardly narrative condemning them for *checks notes*

Stealing children (which they don't do)

Not having emotions (which they do)

And being high and mightier than thao as if their whole thing isn't supposed to be like, humble peacekeepers and galactic therapists.

If you wanted to show a couple of bad Jedi that's fine or setting the show from a sith pov is a cool concept but to be a showrunner and be soooo anti jedi in all your interviews just proves you went into this with an agenda to serve (aka anti jedi shit) and carried it out with no care for the world building that came before it

No this show isn't awful no the acting isn't horrible no its not bad bc the leads are poc or theres women in the cast no its not nad bc of THE WOKE it doesn't ruin the story of vader somehow idk where you guys got any of that but it DOES do a vile disservice to the jedi order. That's like, a fact that's very hard to ignore, especially when the show was so fun in its earlier episodes and it could have been great :(
