It’s good timing actually because I wrote all of my WIPs down in an effort to track them all down and collate them into a manageable list so I know what I’ve got my my plate..

This is a lot of WIPs so beware, you may get anything from something that is almost ready to publish, or badly edited not!fic, to a random concept.

I was bizarrely productive writing on the writing front this weekend.

One story posted, which you can find here, three rough drafts completed, and I just met my deadline as a beta reader.

In total, I churned out 8K words of fiction in two days. Not bad, and it kind of makes up for two weeks of eking out the last few chapters of Know your Karma, which has since been renamed To Kindle Knowledge, word by word.

The rough drafts are as follows:

Killing for a Kingdom - the sequel of To Kindle Knowledge

Darkest before Dawn - Nagato, Konan, and Yahiko’s story

Swimming with Sharks - Kisame’s story

All of them fit into the AU of Courting Culture Confusion, but I’m going to have to start making several sub-series for them within it.

To Kindle Knowledge and Killing for a Kingdom are going to be linked together under Know your Karma, Kagami’s story, while Darkest before Dawn and Swimming with Sharks are going to be linked under The Annals of the Akatsuki.

I also kind of want to write a story about how Kisame and Zabuza visit Konoha, murder ducklings in tow, and Itachi falls in love with Kisame like a club has hit him between the eyes. Sasuke gives him the side eye saying, “Really? The Monster of Hidden Mist. Really?” while Itachi blushes furiously and hides behind Kurenai-sensei because he cannot handle this, he just can’t.

In the meantime, Kakashi and Zabuza are bonding about the stupid shit their students have pulled, dragging out older and older stories in an effort to outdo each other, while Haku and Naruto eyeroll in the background.

I have no name for this yet, but I welcome any suggestions that fit the alliterative theme.

I also want to write the stories of the various members of the Hōzuki Clan, and title it Myths of the Mist.

I now have six stories to edit into a publishable state, and tomorrow has got to be an editing day.

The thing is that I’ve been telling myself that for the last two days and I got sucked into the Akatsuki instead. I already have some thoughts about Sasori and Deidara... I definitely don’t need more plot bunnies but this AU keeps spawning them. Help!
