World AIDS Day
Paying tribute to the four OG jellicle kittens who left us way too young, and the four remarkable actors behind the makeup.
Add other kittens you'd like to remember below, and other actors, and… they'll be with us forever

Spike
An appreciation post for Spike because I’ve never seen any.
“Spike” was a swing character in the early (?) Broadway production and in the US Tours.
The swing character was used to cover the roles of Carbucketty, Pouncival, Tumblebrutus, Plato, and Alonzo.
A brown male swing was used in the US tours. By the 5th US tour, a male kitten swing was known as "Spike" among cast members.
There isn’t a lot of information about “Spike” which is to be expected as he’s a swing character... so I’m going to share a couple of my dumb headcanons (:
I know there’s already a few twins already but I actually headcanon him and Carbucketty to be twins.
Jenny is Spike and Carbucketty’s mother.
He’s very mischievous but not in the same way Mungo and Rumple are.
He thinks he’s edgy but he really isn’t
He sticks clothing pegs on people and runs away.
But he’s not a fast runner so they always catch him but they pretend not to notice him.
Jenny pretends to tell him off and Spike loves it because he feels mischievous.
He’s part of the kitten squad.
He has more braincells than Carbucketty.
He loves the chaos twins. People think he has a crush on them but in fact he wants to BE them.
Spike is planned dumbass chaos and Carbs is just dumbass chaos. Carbs comes along for the bants.
