Breakfast Casserole
“Don’t die without embracing the daring adventure your life was meant to be.” – Steve Pavlina Jump to recipe For Mother’s Day, it was decided that I was going to be cooking for the family. Simple! Everything in one dish! My little sister makes a breakfast casserole that the family likes, but my mother doesn’t. Therefore, I flipped through until I found one that sounded good to my mom. Maria…

Project Overload? 7 Practical Tips to Keep the Plates Spinning
Project Overload? 7 Practical Tips to Keep the Plates Spinning
Polymaths are bound to have a mix of projects on the go at any given time. Some of this is by design. Inspiration hits and you find yourself unable to resist compelling possibilities. So, you initiate new ventures, knowing it will require personal expansion, even as you hurry to cause completion with projects already started. In this case the proper application of the Law of Attraction is actually to dampen — not to magnify — your emotions, such that the new level you want to reach begins to feel normal, expected, and believable. Otherwise you’re holding yourself in a state of disbelief. If reaching your goal seems like a miracle or a monstrous windfall, you’re actually pushing it away from you. This is true not just with money but with anything else you might wish to attract, including new relationships, career advancement, spiritual development, health gains, etc.

Month 4, Day 21.
Following yesterday’s reflections, I re-read Steve Pavlina’s “Asking the Right Questions” article and it makes perfect sense to me (unlike my ex-therapist’s BS) : I usually can’t come up with any good solution while stuck in a negative emotional state as I can’t think clearly then so getting myself to a more positive emotional state and focusing on what I can control and what I like seems like the obvious way to go.
I think identifying repetitive negative patterns is also important but not while I feel down apparently, since I just feel drained of vital essence which is not going to help me figure anything out. So I’m focusing on doing what I can to feel better so I can think right and take the right actions.

Cucumber Beet Salad
“Don’t die without embracing the daring adventure your life is meant to be.” – Steve Pavlina Jump to recipe We decided to repeat the one pot Mediterranean pasta. However, I wanted more vegetables to it. The original was amazingly tasty, but very light on anything but carbs. Knowing we had both beets and cucumbers in the refrigerator, I went through Pinterest, looking for Greek cucumber and…
