Post-Credit Scene – There is no post-credit scene.Disclosure – I was sent a screener of this film.Warning – Contains scenes that may cause distress. Alles hat ein Ende, nur die Wurst hat zwei.
literally: Everything has an end, only the sausage has two.
ironic statement about the transience of the earthly
Origin: The saying goes back to an English original in Francis Beaumont's comedy The Knight of the Burning Pestle, first printed in 1613. However, the phrase probably only found its way into German as a parodic, ironic joke word through Walter Scott's novel Woodstock, or: The Cavalier from 1826, four translations of which were published in German in the same year. It became a widespread saying only after singer-songwriter Stephan Remmler published an eponymous song in 1986, who stated that he knew this saying from his childhood without knowing the origin.

I've shared links to complete opera performances before, but I love to share them, so I thought I'd make a few masterposts.
These list are by no means the only complete filmed performances of these operas on YouTube, but I decided that ten links for each opera was enough for now.
By the way, some of the subtitles are just a part of the video, while others require you to click CC to see them.

dawn of love | neteyam
warnings : fluff
parings: gn navi x neteyam
summary: you comfort overwhelmed neteyam
wc: 770
playlist : (not in order)
nothing - bruno major
i love you so - the walters
until i found you - stephan sanchez
── ⋅ ⋅ ── ✩ ── ⋅ ⋅ ──
You watched neteyam huff and puff as he left his father's tent, the only thing you could assume was they argued. You sighed as you got up from the tree branch you were sitting on and quietly followed. It's not like you didn't know where he was going but you just wanted to watch him. You gracefully jumped from tree to tree watching neteyam make his way to his favorite clearing with water and staring at his reflection angrily.
"skxawng" You shook your head hearing him beat himself down. 'he's too hard on himself ' you thought to yourself. He picked up a rock and skipped it watching the ripples. You tilted your head before you jumped down making yourself known. "you scared me!" neteyam huffed after being startled. You softly chuckled before walking up to him. "what's bothering you 'tem?" you looked at him sympathetically.
He shook his head as he plopped down on the soft moss and grass. He rested his face into his palm sitting crisscross while softly playing with the water. "it's complicated... i'm just overwhelmed" you sat down next to him and kept your eyes on him while he kept looking at the water.
"with?" you asked neteyam inhaling deeply then while exhaling "everything! my father expects me to be perfect but i'll never be. i'll always be in his shadow no matter what!" he exclaimed splashing the water. You sighed and grabbed his now wet wrist. "look at me" you said rubbing his hand with your thumb. He shifted his eyes to look at you and instantly his face soften.
"i'm sorry we haven't been able to hang out as much i've just been frustrated recently" neteyam sighed biting his lip. "it's okay don't be sorry" you smiled rubbing his back. He sighed into your touch and you got an idea. You got up and sat behind neteyam. "what are you doing?" he asked looking back. "shhh trust me" you said pushing his head back around. You moved his braids to the side and started massaging his shoulders. "you don't have to" he chuckled. "i know i want to" you smiled leaning into his ear. He shook his head and blushed softly as you went back to work putting the perfect amount of pressure into his shoulders and arms.
Neteyam relaxed into your hands and purred softly. 'cute' you thought. You smiled as you rubbed and lightly scratched his back then you did something you didn't even register. You kissed his shoulder. He jumped "w-what are you doing?!" "shush big baby'm helping you am i not?" you rolled your eyes. You were met with silence and smirked as you replaced every rub with a gentle kiss on his back and shoulders.
—
After neteyam was satisfied he turned around facing you and grabbed your hands. "thank you i appreciate it really" he smiled. Then kissed your knuckles you blush and cupped his face. "neteyam" you said his name instead of his nickname and he tilted his head waiting for you to say something.
You couldn't get the words out so you just kissed the side of his mouth and quickly tried to get up but neteyam had other plans and tighten his grip and pulled you back down. "nun-uh you can't leave after that!" he blushed and laughed. Your heart swelled and looked away "i could've but you intercepted my plan" you pouted. He smiled before grabbing your face gently. "i see you" he looked into your eyes deeply "i see you" you smiled.
Neteyam then leaned in and kissed your lips softly and pulled away resting y'all's foreheads onto each other while still making eye contact. "i've been waiting to do that" he chuckled "me too" you smiled. "come on let's go 'tem" you said trying to get up but neteyam again intercepted your plan tackling you and you both went down falling on y'all's sides'. "nooo let's stay here longer..please?" he said giving you puppy dog eyes.
You huffed "fineee" you rolled your eyes as neteyam pulled you into his arms rolling into his back as you laid your head on his chest looking up at the stars. "you're so warm," he said snuggling up closer against you. "shh," you said closing your eyes as y'all laid there enjoying each other's warmth slowly drifting to sleep in each other's arms.

The Who concert disaster
The Who was in the midst of the United States leg of its 1979 world tour, which began in September with a total of seven dates split between the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey and Madison Square Garden in New York City.
People were originally told through a radio station that General Admission ticket holders would be admitted at 3:00 p.m. and therefore a sizable crowd formed by 5:00 p.m. Although all the doors were expected to be opened simultaneously, only a pair of doors at the far right of the main entrance were finally opened. As concertgoers entered the stadium through these two open doors, those waiting in front of all of the other doors began pushing forward again.
After a short period of waiting and then knocking on the doors and the glass next to the doors, the crowd assumed that none of the remaining doors would be opened. At about 7:15 p.m., the situation began to escalate. Conflicting reports suggested that concertgoers could hear either a very late soundcheck or The Who's Quadrophenia movie, in lieu of an opening act. Either way, the crowd assumed that The Who were on earlier than scheduled.
At that point, the entire crowd surged and pushed toward the two doors which had been opened. This caused many people to get trampled while some suffered more serious injuries. Eleven people were unable to escape the dense crowd pushing toward them and died by asphyxiation. Twenty-six other people reported injuries.
Fire officials advised Who manager Bill Curbishley to cancel the concert, but he convinced them to allow the show to continue to avoid further panic. The concert went on as planned, with the band members not told of the tragedy until after their performance. Years later, Who guitarist Pete Townshend recalled his feelings after the show; "I went through two phases. One was, of course, tremendous upset and concern. But the other was incredible anger that we had been performing while this was going on."
The eleven people who died in the crush were:
Walter Adams, Jr., aged 22, Trotwood, Ohio
Peter Bowes, aged 18, Wyoming, Ohio
Connie Sue Burns, aged 21, Miamisburg, Ohio
Jacqueline Eckerle, aged 15, Finneytown, Ohio
David Heck, aged 19, Highland Heights, Kentucky
Teva Rae Inlow Ladd, aged 27, Newtown, Ohio
Karen Morrison, aged 15, Finneytown, Ohio
Stephan Preston, aged 19, Finneytown, Ohio
Philip Snyder, aged 20, Franklin, Ohio
Bryan Wagner, aged 17, Fort Thomas, Kentucky
James Theodore Warmoth, aged 21, Franklin, Ohio

Aca Top 10: Summer Hits 2015 — VoicePlay music video
youtube
VoicePlay had kicked off their "Aca Top 10" series with the hits of summer 2014, and the next year gave them just as much good fodder to draw from. Their continued busy schedule provided the same impetus for another medley they could record in a way that didn't require much editing, but that doesn't mean they cut corners on their musicality or the party vibes.
Details:
title: Aca Top 10 — Summer Hits 2015
original songs / performers: "Time of Our Lives" by Pitbull & Ne-Yo; [0:23] "Want To Want Me" by Jason Derulo; [0:40] "Honey, I'm Good" by Andy Grammer; [0:56] "Sugar" by Maroon 5; [1:09] "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten; [1:20] "Bad Blood" by Taylor Swift, featuring Kendrick Lamar; [1:30] "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth; [1:40] "Watch Me" by Silentó; [1:52] "Can't Feel My Face" by The Weeknd; [2:07] "Shut Up and Dance" by Walk the Moon
written by: "Time of Our Lives" by Armando "Pitbull" Pérez, Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald, Henry "Cirkut" Walter, Shaffer "Ne-Yo" Smith, Vinay Rao, Stephan Taft, & Michael "Freakin" Everett; "Want To Want Me" by Jason Derulo, Ian Kirkpatrick, Samuel Denison Martin, Lindy Robbins, & Mitch Allan; "Honey, I'm Good" by Andy Grammer & Nolan Sipe; "Sugar" by Mike Posner, Adam Levine, Joshua "Ammo" Coleman, Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, & Henry "Cirkut" Walter; "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten & Dave Bassett; "Bad Blood" by Taylor Swift, Max Martin, Karl "Shellback" Schuster, & Kendrick Lamar; "See You Again" by Cameron "Wiz Khalifa" Thomaz, Charlie Puth, Justin "DJ Frank E" Franks, Andrew Cedar, Dann Hume, Josh Hardy, & Phoebe Cockburn; "Watch Me" by Ricky "Silentó" Hawk & Timothy Mingo; "Can't Feel My Face" by Ali Payami, Savan Kotecha, Max Martin, Abel "The Weeknd" Tesfaye, & Peter Svensson; "Shut Up and Dance" by Ben Berger, Eli Maiman, Ryan McMahon, Nicholas Petricca, Kevin Ray, & Sean Waugaman
arranged by: Geoff Castellucci
release date: 3 September 2015
My favorite bits:
the cool percussion riff Layne puts in as a radio edit during "Time of Our Lives"
the breakdown moment in "Honey, I'm Good"
Tony's fantastic side-eye as he sips his coffee during Earl's solo on the first two lines of "Bad Blood"
Eli leaning on Earl's shoulder, and Geoff and Layne gazing fondly at each other during "See You Again"
once again giving the most attention-seeking lyrics to Tony, who's actually quite shy (but performs it well, nevertheless)
Geoff's concerned expression as he makes sure that he can, in fact, feel his face
everyone else cutting out the first time Tony sings ♫ "shut up and dance with me" ♫
Layne gleefully tossing the final sign at the end of a successful take
Trivia:
A full arrangement of "Shut Up and Dance" was part of the Disney Sessions collaborations VoicePlay did with the cast of Newsies as part of the 20th anniversary celebration for Disney On Broadway earlier in the year.
They also included a snippet of "Bad Blood" in their Patreon launch video.
It seems as though the arrangement process happened about a month before they released the video, possibly during their downtime on a cruise ship.

Hypnosis Book Reviews by Cosmic Pancakes
Cosmic Pancakes is a website by Kev Sheldrake and his wife, Amy Ellingham. Kev Sheldrake is most well known for his partnership with Anthony Jacquin, but the real meat of the website is in the reviews.
They tend to focus on different things. Ellingham has a real taste for the obscure deep cuts.
Also, she's funny.
Sheldrake tends to dig into the academic history of hypnosis. This is probably not surprising considering his background, but this does mean that he assumes you're going to be fascinated by the state/non-state debate.
Interestingly, neither of them are afraid of discussing sex and hypnosis.
And even the occasional hypnokink fiction!
I've been digging through these for most of the day. They are consistently full of anecdotes and personal opinions that make the review fun even when the book itself is a stinker.
If you're interested in checking out the books themselves, you can find a surprising number on archive.org.
For example, Hypnosis, imagination, and human potentialities is here.
The same applies to the papers, which you can usually find on scihub, i.e.
can be found at https://sci-hub.hkvisa.net/10.1002/acp.3730

Germany has banned the far-right sect Artgemeinschaft for spreading Nazi ideology to children and young people.
The country's interior minister called the group "deeply racist and antisemitic" and said it was trying "to raise new enemies of the constitution".
Artgemeinschaft used Nazi-era literature and cultural events to spread its ideology.
Police have raided dozens of homes and offices linked to the group in 12 German states.
"This is another hard blow against right-wing extremism and against the intellectual arsonists who continue to spread Nazi ideologies to this day," German interior minister Nancy Faeser said.
Artgemeinschaft roughly translates to "racial community" and, according to the interior ministry, had about 150 members.
The ministry said the group was giving its members instructions about picking partners with a North or Central European background, in line with their ideology of "racial preservation".
The sect also ran an online bookstore and regularly held cultural events that attracted up to several hundred people. It described itself as "Germany's biggest pagan community".
The authorities say the group used this cover of "pseudo-religious Germanic beliefs to spread their worldview which violates human dignity".
The ban also includes the sect's website, its publications and Familienwerk, another association connected with it.
Germany last week outlawed Hammerskins, another neo-Nazi group, which was known for its role in organising far-right concerts and selling racist music.
Hammerskins, founded in the US in the late 1980s, was the last major right-wing skinhead organisation in Germany after another group, Blood and Honour, had been banned in 2000.
It was heavily involved in setting up neo-Nazi music labels, selling antisemitic records and organising clandestine music events.
"Right-wing extremism has many faces," Germany's interior minister said, adding that Artgemeinschaft had acted differently than Hamerskins but was "no less dangerous".
Artgemeinschaft is one of Germany's oldest neo-Nazi groups. It played a key role in connecting different far-right and neo-Nazi groups in Germany, Ms Faeser said.
Stephan Ernst, the man who murdered prominent regional politician Walter Lübcke in 2019 in a shooting motivated by "racism and xenophobia", was a member of the group, according to German intelligence.
German media also report members of the group had links with Ralf Wohlleben, a neo-Nazi who was convicted for supporting members of a notorious cell that carried out 10 racially motivated murders in Germany.
Germany's domestic intelligence agency estimates there are 38,800 people active in the country's right-wing extremist scene, with more than a third of them considered "potentially violent".

Alex’s Christmas Sleepover 2022!!!
Okay, okay, sooooo
Last year I started this way too late and I also, like, completely failed and didn’t get any of my story requests done, so I greatly apologize for that 😅😅😅 BUT to @shadyrunawaykingdom, @corner-emo, and @sevenmillionpsychos, if you still want the same stories that you requested previously, I will write them this year and they will be the very first stories that I put out from this. If you want a new story instead, just let me know and I’ll do that instead. If you’d like to request another story along with your previous one, that’s perfectly fine, just know that your new story requests will go into whatever list I have going after your previous requests are done. If you need a reminder on what story you requested last year, let me know and I’ll tell you!!
So, now, here’s how things will go. Below, I’ll have listed the characters that I’m currently comfortable writing for categorized by fandoms, as well as different symbols relating to christmas and whatnot. You get to choose if you want a moodboard or story (if you pick story, you automatically get a moodboard as well, please keep that in mind), as well as what character or characters you’d like in it. If you want a story, you get to choose what type of story (smut, angst, fluff, comfort, etc. as well as any combinations - any characters I list that are canonically younger than 18, I will be aging up unless you ask for a scenario that requires them to be younger, just no asking for there to be smut while the character isnt aged up to 18+) as well as if you’d like a shorter story (Around 500-1,500 words) or a longer story (Around 2,000+). You then get to also add in any of the christmas symbols that I list and voila. I shall create something for you 😌
I do ask that you go through this whole post in order to create your request. Also, if you want a specific version of a character (ie, Emo!Wanda Maximoff, Dark!Lizzie Saltzman, Season 3!Eddie Munson, etc., etc..), then please let me know!! You can just fill out the information below and let me fill in the blanks with whatever comes to my mind or you can give me a specific scenario along with the other things as well, it's entirely up to you!!
