Did you know it takes just 3 seconds for someone to cause a car accident??? You’re a Safe Driver right! You don’t drink and drive or use your phone! “It won’t happen to me” We think we are invincible. I totally get it and I would have never thought I would have lost my daughter due to a distracted driver as well as under the influence of something not good. Distracted driving is anything that takes your eyes or mind off the road. It could be VISUAL- something you see MANUAL-eating, drinking or texting COGNITIVE- wondering mind or listening to music I know we are all struggling with all this Covid stuff so we may be more distracted then ever before. While driving follow the rules of the road. You can only control what’s going on in your own car so if you stay focused you will have a better opportunity of making a wise choice. I would like to say thank you to @atcdrivingschool for teaching our teen drivers what they need to know to become safe and confident drivers. I spoke to a new driver that attended JBHS Driver’s Ed class and said he was so glad he took the class and Mr. Romano was awesome. Parents A Treasure Coast Driving School can offer lessons and the driving tests too. Your teen driver will be prepared after attending their program. I have been Blessed with the opportunity to have met so many amazing students. I pray I get the opportunity to return soon.
