Photos from my trip to Starrcast Downunder under the cut. (I also attended H.E.R and Australian Stampede but was too in the moment to take photos of the shows.)

In order: Victoria/Tara/Lisa Marie Varon, Shelton Benjamin, Jordynne Grace, Chris Masters/Chris Adonis, Mickie James, Lizzie Evo (an up and coming British heel and a local woman’s tag team called Prima Pi Kappa (PPK), made up of Nikki Van Blair (the blonde) and Frankie B. They were all so kind.

I also got autographs but no photos with Vix Crow/Alicia Fox, Tenille Dashwood and Mike Rallis who were also very lovely. If I ever cross paths with them again, I’ll be getting photos for sure.

I was so nervous meeting everyone but they were all so kind and put me at ease, even making me laugh at some points.

I have watched Victoria and Shelton since I was 14 and wanted to meet them for almost just as long and it was every bit worth it. I even got a hug from Victoria. 😊 I could go on and on about these two but I won’t.

Jordynne Grace was only meant to be an autograph as the gold pass I had allowed me four ‘free’ autographs but when I went up the person helping her said I could also have a photo with her which was really sweet. She liked the koala I had on my bag and showed me one she was given. She was so sweet in person, I know I’m saying that about everyone but it’s true.

Chris Masters is a class act, even if I can’t sell the Masterlock to save my life. I feel like I should apologize to him for the shocking sell.

Mickie James put the whole H.E.R event together and my photo with her was the day after so I was able to tell her what an amazing show it was and she was so thankful about it. If you’re able to stream it, do so it’s worth it.

Lizzie Evo for playing a heel is so nice at the autograph’s table, it’s like night and day. I later found out she had a brief run in NXT UK which I thought was cool. From what I saw in her match, if shes not signed somewhere major soon, I’ll be shocked.

Prima Pi Kappa (PPK), Nikki Van Blair and Frankie B are so funny, both during their match and at the signing, I’m definitely going to do my best to keep up with what they do. (Hopefully they’ll eventually beat The Backslide Girls for the titles.)

ive been part of the adam page fan club since he first opened his mouth at the rally. that speech he gave had me sold. i was fully behind him and i havent let up since. took me a lot longer with dustin/greg/oc but im fully on board that train now too! i am trying to keep track of what i have posted so i dont repeat stuff. that attention to detail is my OCD kicking in. well i think you are very funny. i bet you do make him laugh. so joey really needs to get on that before he misses out.

I was always cool with Hangman since the BC days. I saw him and the rest of the Elite when they did the ROH/NJPW show in Chicago a few years ago. It’s funny it was actually Emi that got me into him. I promised I would get as many pics of him as I could when he main evented All Out and he did such a good job in that match it instantly made me a fan. I blame Emi. How dare her. I was jsut being a good friend and then this happens and then I went into that period where I had to deny liking him because he is a nice boy that my mother would approve of (and the fact that she no joke text me while I was at starrcast because she saw my pic with hangman on my insta proves my point and kills me inside) and we all know I can only like trashy bad boys because that’s my type. Lmao trust me he won’t be missing out and I doubt there will be anyone I meet that would make him realize he missed out in the first place. I’m not all that and I’m terrible at dating for sure.

My event from Starrcast was already the highlight of the weekend, despite those no good sacks of crap not allowing me to finish reading my poem. However, Cody giving Spears what he deserves might be a close second.

If C.M. Punk is to come back to pro wrestling, it looks like it will be here. He was very political in his speech at the last Starrcast, talking about how he’s grown up, doesn’t have animosity toward WWE and said that if they were to call he would listen.

It’s basically the feeling that even though WWE went after him hard with the lawsuit that cost him a ton of money, like seven figures, that WWE is the place he feels he can make the most money. Given he’s about to turn 41 next month, and main eventers are making for the most part for more now than they were during Punk’s heyday, and the age makes the clock tick about how long your window to make that money is, you can see the mentality.

The impression from WWE is that they believe he wants back in but right now it’s nothing they are counting on doing. He did get an opening offer from AEW sometime back but then made himself scarce and was negative to them in that Marc Raimondi interview and as best we can tell, there has been no contact since

I’ll believe it when I see it.  To me, this isn’t a “where there’s smoke there’s fire” story, so much as “it’s pretty amazing anybody is even reporting signs of smoke.”

If WWE and Punk could truly mend fences, I would expect the comeback to be scheduled for October.  That’s when WWE needs all the help it can get, and there’s no upside for Punk to put it off.  Bring him back to pop a rating (on which show, though?) and build to a big match at Survivor Series in Chicago.  It would be the perfect timing, so if it’s ever going to happen, now’s the time.  Which also means if it doesn’t happen soon, it probably never will.

RISE Presents Regional Rising Stars Tournament All Out Weekend in Chicago

Chicago area-based RISE – Developing Tomorrow’s Wrestling Attractions aims to showcase Midwest Women’s Wrestling talent in front of a worldwide audience Sunday, September 1st to close out AEW All Out and Starrcast 3 Weekend. At 5 PM, RISE presents Regional Rising Stars – The Midwest Bracket LIVE from The Berwyn Eagles Club in Berwyn, IL, available on iPPV on FITE.tv.

Tickets for this event are priced $10-$30 and available at risedtwa.ticketleap.com.

The 8 Woman, Single Elimination Tournament consists of 4 First Round Matches: Hawlee Cromwell vs. Laynie Luck, Sierra vs. Queen Animata, Elayna Black vs. Heidi Katrina and Big Mama vs. Valentina Loca.

In non-tournament action, The Guardians of RISE Tag Team Championships will be one the line as The Killer Death Machines, Jessicka Havok and Nevaeh defend against all three members of Paradise Lost, Raven’s Ash, Dust and “The Demon Assassin” Rosemary.

After their epic showdown as the final two entrants in Through The Door – a 6 person elimination match June 30 at RISE – PRIDE & JOY, Jake Atlas will go one-on-one with “Hell’s Favorite Harlot” Priscilla Kelly.

In a special attraction, “The WOAD” Double D Rose has issued The Bunz of Steel Challenge, and it is open to any and all professional wrestlers in Chicago for the weekend. And this Challenge is also FANS BRING THE WEAPONS!

I saw the mail in list for Renee for Starrcast. It has championship belts listed. I'm sorry, but anyone who sends in or brings anything of his for her to sign are just dumbass fans. That whole time is going to be a shit event with her there. In general in anything she does while there.

These third rate events are the only thing this overweight Canada import has…neither she nor the 3 fans she has will be having fun.
