genuinely ECSTATIC the section 31 movie is getting shiiiit reviews, that even sites that attempt to be positive and slop up everything like snw, such as trekcore itself calling it a dismal failure. i'm not surprised as much as i am delighted, cos yeah all trekkies i follow, including myself, had no real hope on this back even when it was announced as a tv show. we just knew modern trek has no juice to write anything complex since s31's portrayal in disco s2 (which was an abysmal season btw idgaf) showing them to be cool black ops faction and ruining ash's character as well as elevating and making cute on georgiou as a char - a char who is a piece of shit but we were supposed to find her quirky and funny or whatever. nothing like this should be rewarded, much less a new narrative spin off
speaking of ash.... soooo happy he's not in it tbh. shazad latif fans, we won. that man is booked and busy with various things getting to explore his career in different genres, both in tv and film, instead of being tied down to stupid trek where the writers and powers that be had no affection or respect for him and what he brought both personally and culturally to the role that he is on record saying how important it was to him. it's brilliant he was not called back for s31 actually. good for him. fuck star trek, go on shazad, i got ur flower <<<333
#s31 for ts#star trek for ts#shazad latif for ts#apparently s31 is just filled with quippy cringe liners and bad dialogue and acting.. the tiktok marvelification of trek

Next up for Nickelodeon era of shows, who is your favorite character from each of the early 2020s Nicktoons shows you've seen like: It's Pony, Glitch Techs, Kamp Koral, Rugrats 2021, The Patrick Star Show, The Middlemost Post, and Star Trek Prodigy? While the last batch had signs of it with The Casagrandes spin off and Pinky Malinky being on Netflix instead of Nickelodeon, this is when Nickelodeon really started to get heavier on Nicktoons based on the older IPs over original ones. This was also when they began premiering Nicktoons on streaming such as Netflix and Paramount Plus before the main Nickelodeon channel, likely with streaming getting more popular.
Okay to get this out of the way this time I haven't seen Glitch Techs (Heard it was good), enough of Middlemost post to properly talk about it, or Progidy, though I do want to see those last two. I also haven't seen shared between this and paramount+ show earthspark or the just release paramount+ show but counting it here since i talked about nick's other three tmnt shows, tales of the tmnt. By the last era we'd already cut the cord and most of these shows didn't last long enough or in progidy's case.. I've just procastinated. So i'll be throwing in two brucy bonuses to compensate.
Anywways
It's Pony: didn't see as much as i'd like, hope it's on plus, but I thought it had a nice cozy charm to it. Dont' raelly have a faviorite character but did want to mentoin it as it was quite good I just never had a chance to catch it.
Kamp Koral: Honestly Iike the fact the Sardines are a cabin.. larry may be close second as his fitness cabin is wholesome. But honestly.. .there isn't a lot here for me to grab onto despite having seen a LOT of this with my neice with watching her back when it first started. This show is meidocre at best which is disappointing as I LIKE a good summer camp set show (I'ts weird I never watched more of summer camp island with that in mind), or film, but this.. is just nothing. It has good ideas: the various other cabins, letting side characters like lady upturn, larry, kevin, or the sardines return or have a sizeable roll, and the retcons are at least given an explination (Sandy rewrote history). It's hampred both by the impressoin that this show happened quite ltierally over stephen hillenbergs dead body.. and just being mid as hell. The animation is cheap, as tmnt 2012 already proved nick COULD do a cgi show on a tv budget that looked really nice and would prove it again just a few years later. Without the expressivenes spongebob has in it's 2d form (something that sponge bout of water and the sandy cheeks movie were able to copy much better), this feels lifeless and it feels like they really didn't have a ton of ideas to do with this unique setting that hadn't been done before aside from the sardines episode. It's just kinda there at best. It's so boring.
Rugrats 2021: Hadn't seen this one either, still gets it's own entry as I tried part of the first episode.. but couldn't get into it. Not knocking the voice actors too hard, but It just never really caught on with me. We stan Betty being an out of the closet lesbian in this house and Susie getting upgraded to main cast, but it dosen't seem like there's anything I really want from this reboot not helped that I didn't appricate the original at the time, so why would I watch a version that was okay. Might watch it this holiday season for some reviews coming up but that's about it honestly. Still sucks it was removed from paramount +, hope they sell it to someone else instead same with something.. else we're going to get to
The Patrick Star Show: Squidina: she's adorbale, compliments pat well and while her inclusion is a retcon, honestly spongebob continuity is so paper thin it just dosen't matter. At this point how he met sandy has been changed entirely by time travel, patrick's had two sets of parents and another sister who dosent' exist. Making what I was shocked to find was an unrelated side character his nerdy adopted sister to make his show work better is fine by me. The first episodes were fine, just nothing really specail to me, but I heard the show did get better and do want to try it in this form as the soft reboot seemed to have worked and seems to be more in the spirit of the classic seasons while being i'ts own thing.
It's why while this show was also made over stephen hillbergs dead body, it feels less souless... Talented people did put genuine effort into saving it unlike Kamp Koral which is just.. there, and it seems to have worked. And honestly while I like a good camp story.. the patrick star show is the more unique concept. Kamp Koral is just "spongebob but a child at camp" . It COUDL work but it's hampred by using almost the entire same cast as the parent show.
In contrast while Spongebob, Sandy, and Squidward are also present here, their not the main focus. Patrick is. And while that honestly sounded like living in a living nightmare... in the pre revamp episodes it worked okay. Unlike planet sheen it's clear even in it's larval form, they got what made pat work as a character, so simply switched up the dynamics slightly: squidward is still annoyed by him, but the main foils instead the oft annoyed but far more patient with her big bro squidina. Spongebob and co are there.. but their there in support of patrick, flipping thingsj ust slightly enough and it makes sense his best friends would be there. It helps they have some really fun designs as teens. I love spongebob's slick backed hair and squidwards acne and shirt. Small changes on his and sandy's front but it' smore than kamp koral.. just making them smol and giving them outfits. So a show I honestly want to see more of as it geninely seems like it turned a corner. Could be wrong but evne then it's at least a worthy side dish to spongebob and feels less like digging up a corpse for money.
Big Nate: This one also DOES count in my eyes as it was reaired on the network, but is one I hope gets transfered somewhere. Faviorite is the boy himself, as they transitoined him well and ben giroux does a great job, though Gina as always as close. i've bene honest about loving comic strips before in this retrospective, and at the time this show aired big nate.. was fine. Stuck in a rut it's since got out of, but kinda stuck as some strips gets going through the motions and repeating gags that didn't work the first time.
Big Nate the cartoon... is a great adaptation in part because it takes some of the strips weaknesses and does away with them. Not all sadly as yelly outdated coach sterotype coach john and nate's stalker kim are kept for reasons I can't process. The former maybe, as he's useful for jokes and faculty plotlines, but the latter..
But for the most part it instead fixes a lot of aspects of the strip that didn't quite work anymore or needed a refresh: Nate's friends Teddy and Francis are more loyal and more resonable foils than "assholes who constantly insult him", with Francis in paticular being far less insufferable, instead being a truly fun friend group you root for. Gina is added from the jump and god bless them for it. I love that theater kid. (With Chad also there and pretty much a member of Team Awesome, as he should be). Nate's "hit on women like a jackass" tendnenices, while sadly relaistic to a 5th grader, are toned down, and his family gets more to do: Marty is still pathetic but it's not his oly schitck and dove cameron does a great job as his sister.
Overall the show was really good having a gorgeous peanuts movie style art style that matched the strip, it got the tone down right while adjusting it and while it wasn't always perfect I have a LOT of respect for it. Sadi it got screwed over. Hope it gets another chance
Fairly Odd Parnents: A New Wish : I need to watch more of this but... man is this good. Faviorite is Cosmo with Peri a close second as he was my faviorite in the og and that's still true as while he keeps the voice that can be mildy grating but is fine by me from the later seasons he's back to peak idiot and back to half a whohle idot.
After what I hear was a diaster with fairly odder, A New Wish is everything a revivial should be: it respects the original amazingly with TONS of callbacks I wasn't expecting thus far or have read about, and a premise that's so obvious i'm shocked it took this long to try it: Timmy's gone having moved on naturally at some point as the series constantly hinted would happen which is sad, as he looses his real parents, but means he's doing okay for himself as an adult instead, and we get Hazel instead, a new kid for a new decade. Hazel is the perfect foil too lacking Timmy's arrogance and selfishness , but still keeping the short sightness that comes when you give a child the power of a god. Hazel is a kind, wonderful little bean who like Timmy will often use her powers to help others, but due to the series having a heavier continuity, actually learns from her wishes.. it dosen't always work but it's nice that it's not a death loop of terrible mistkaes. Not saying that death loop wasn't funny, but it works better in this era
The show keeps the basic premise that works but weeds out the stuff that didn't: gone are the sadistic teachers (not saying those don't still exist but we've been there), and neglectful parents (the only one left is played dead seriously), kept is the magic hyjinks. It seems like the bulk of the cast from the original who'd make sense to show up (and i'm sure more could), do. The revamp of peri got a ton of buzz and rightfully so having him be the seemingly suave but really just very tired foil to both his own god kid and his parents is perfect, especially with wanda rest from the nag to half of a whole idiot and having the very plausable reason for him not having been around simply been them smothering him a bit much, which fits both perfectly. He dosen't hate them, he just wants to find his own way while honoring the family buisness.
As youc an tell by the several paragraphs.. I love a new wish. I hope it does well and gets to go on a while, the creators certainly have the ideas for it and frankly we could all use a little magic.

Journeys in 2007
Y'all a friend of mine found some archived version of an old fanfic forum I was on in 2007 and I just need to share the entire EXPERIENCE that was re-reading fanfics I wrote at age 12.
I did not even have the internet at home until the year after, which means I was posting them from my school.
Come with me on this cringeful journey of Stargate Atlantis nerdism.
This response to a review: "thanx! ur mi 4th reviewer! u rok! i haven\'t red N E of urs, but i wil!" (seriously wtaf)
"we hat your guts"
"I never used to be a good person", she explained. (LMFAO??)
A scene with John spinning on a desk chair faster and faster while debating with Rodney and Radek whether the insane looking pink-afro super-powered terrible OC was attractive.
John getting shrunk by ancient tech, being sneezed on, washing the snot off in Ronon's glass of water, falling in tomato sauce, throwing crumbs at people.
In that same fic, trashing Weir's desk, running across Rodney's laptop keyboard writing swearwords while bored.
A spicy scene between Carson and the crazy OC character who had zero foundation of any kind of relationship or chemistry, but which was surprisingly one of the least cringe things my 12 year old brain came up with
Carson putting his hand over Rodney's mouth to shut him up and Rodney licking him - in the middle of a debriefing.
Going to a random planet in search of an unshrinking device for John, interrupting a wraith attack, helping an injured person lying in the road when a RANDOM man with crackhead NPC energy runs out of an alleyway, conks Carson on the head with a frypan, knocking him out and then runs off - and then the team including the smitten OC character leave unconscious Carson in the middle of the road to follow the sound of a crying baby????? WHAT ??? LOL???
"galleons of water"
Michael the wraith with mind reading abilities that can sense ancients for no explicable reason, and sensing that there's a romantic attachment between Carson and random OC. For no plot reasons whatsoever. It is never explained.
Pink hair OC then summonS GHOSTS TO FIGHT HIM? ?? ???
The ghosts kill him.
Then LUCIUS LAVIN APPEARS FROM BEHIND A TREE AND STARTS HITTING ON EVERYONE
There is no explanation for this - he is just there.
"I'm mentally linked to all nearby people with the ancient gene, so if I die, you all will die too." followed immediately by "SHOOT AT ME, ITS THE ONLY WAY" ????????????????????????????????what
This same character (pink haired OC) flying a puddle jumper directly up into the air, opening the hatch, backflipping out, landing on the roof of another puddle jumper and then remote detonating the original one in a kamikaze esque attack that somehow chain reactions into blowing up 5 hive ships.
Everyone fainting aLL THE TIME? Seriously I counted 5 people getting knocked out and at least a dozen faining from exhaustion / heat stroke / illness / etc. OVER FOUR FANFIC. JUST FOUR.
The worst part is that this is over 4 fics and is a REWRITE of the first ever fanfic I wrote. The original had an ABBA song for every chapter (I now cannot un-associate ABBA and Stargate Atlantis - thanks brain), the OC played the violin, could teleport, could turn into a horse sized hot pink space snow leopard that laid eggs, and also involved at some point a random series of inexplicable crossovers with Star Wars, Star Trek and Back To The Future. For no reason. Literally none.
I also wrote a couple of fic prompt / challenges which were kinda crazy
John wants to learn to surf and then Rodney gets captured by whales
Love triangle between Carson, Cadman and an OC.
Ancient device zaps everyone into being children and they have to travel the earth to meet up and figure out how to undo it.
I cry laughed tonight from this rediscovery. I have no idea what I was on at age 12 but apparently I thought it was a good time??
No wonder everyone thought I was weird LOL

The Winchesters Rare Ships Week
Welcome to The Winchesters Rare Ships Week!
What is it?
A whole week to celebrate the Supernatural spin-off, The Winchesters, and all of the rare ships that come with this show. Whether it is platonic, romantic, familial, or any other kind of relationship is up to you!
When is it?
May 7-13, 2023
What are the prompts?
Sunday, May 7 - Missing Scene / Episode Tag Take this opportunity to fill in the empty spaces of episodes with your headcanons of what happened with Dean and other characters. Whether you have an idea of a scene in the middle of the episode or something that should have been added to the end, share with us your ideas! (Tag the episode number in your posts, too!)
Monday, May 8 - Pre-Canon The Winchesters might be "pre-canon" SPN, but today's your day to explore pre-canon for these guys. Take us on the road with Carlos and his singing career. Let's explore Latika's tragic past a little more. Take us on a hunt with Mary and Sam before Sam disappeared. Or maybe give us a peek into John and Betty's relationship!
Tuesday, May 9 - Polyamorous Ships Let’s explore the relationships in The Winchesters today with relationships that have more than one other person involved (any grouping of 3 or more will work for Poly Day!).
Wednesday, May 10 - Mary & John While Mary and John are the "main" pairing of this particular show, they're still a rare ship in the Supernatural umbrella. Today is for their relationship - whether that's in the context of TW or the OG SPN show, or before/between/after these canons!
Thursday, May 11 - Omegaverse You know, the SPN Fandom is credited for the creation of Omegaverse as it is today (Star Trek gets Mpreg, we just added some bells and whistles.) Alphas. Betas. Omegas. The Omegaverse is a complicated AU and everyone has their own way of presenting it. Let’s show everyone why SPN rules the Omegaverse and explore!
Friday, May 12 - Alternate Timeline So (spoilers) The Winchesters doesn't happen in the same timeline/universe as the OG SPN show. Today is for you to take TW characters to an alternate timeline of your choice!
Saturday, May 13 - Dealer’s Choice Today is all you, we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
How do I participate?
No sign ups are required! Just post any and all The Winchesters Rare Ship content and be sure to include #thewinchestersrareshipweek2023 and tag us @spnrareships in your post. We will reblog everything we see, but if we haven’t reblogged your work within 24 hours please send us an ask.
Reminder: Please review our General Rules, which apply to all events we host. If you have any questions, feel free to send in an Ask!

Star Wars: The Bad Batch: “The Crossing” - Review
A slower, quieter episode of The Bad Batch succeeds in bringing some much needed humanity and intimacy to the series’ main cast.
The Bad Batch are tasked with retrieving the volatile but valuable substance, ipsium, from Cid’s newly purchased mine. However, things go awry after a stranger steals the Marauder leaving the team stranded on a hostile world. Together, the team must find a way to escape, but must do so without the help of one of their brothers.
At first glance, “The Crossing” appeared to be the series returning to its wheel spinning ways. Although we occasionally get a standout like “Tribe,” The Bad Batch’s standalone missions often make for some of the series’ least interesting episodes. As I’ve said before, without the weight given by larger events occurring in the series/franchise mythology or inventive action set pieces these more routine episodes often struggle to hold my attention. This is not to say that episodic television is inherently less interesting in serialized stories. I love being able to pick up an episode of Star Trek or Rebels regardless of when it falls in the franchise’s timeline. What makes these shows work where The Bad Batch still tends to struggle is that even in their most self-contained outings good episodic TV finds a way to make things personal for our characters. But the wonderful thing is, that personal edge actually arrives in “The Crossing.” It takes a second to poke through its dull as hell episodic plot, but this week’s installment makes for one of the series’ most personal installments.
It starts as a general feeling of awkwardness. The Batch have trouble delegating even the most simple duties and their general rhythm feels off. They make mistakes that would normally not have happened. Small tasks become big challenges. And slowly it becomes clear that Echo’s absence has unbalanced how the squad functions. This is a team that is stumbling on a basic level because a core member of their unit has stepped away.
Part of what makes Matt Michnovetz’s script work so well is that Omega seems to be the only one that is able to admit that Echo’s absence is why everything is going wrong. Hunter, Tech, and Wrecker all slip into roles that are familiar to their programming to cope, but Omega has no special skill to fall back on. What has made her special has always been the affection and loyalty that she holds to her fellow squadmates. So of course, Omega is going to be the one that finally says what’s on every other clone’s mind. She misses Echo. And the squad doesn’t make sense without him.
In a way it’s nice to have The Bad Batch even acknowledge this shakeup. So often these sorts of ensemble change outs will happen in a television series without giving the remaining cast time to react emotionally to what has happened. Sure, Echo may not be dead, but he was a mainstay in this small family unit for quite some time. His absence is felt in even the smallest of ways.
“The Crossing” is at its best when it contrasts how our team are all processing this transition. To Omega, the hole left by Echo is unbearable, but others like Tech experience this hurt differently. Tech processes his own sadness through logic that gives him comfort. Echo has made a choice to undertake a different mission and the Batch was able to function fine before he arrived in the first place. His brother isn’t dead, simply doing something else, and he can look to the past for reassurance that he and his squad will be okay. To Omega though, Tech’s matter of fact and technical way of processing this change feels cold and uncaring. It leads to one of the first episode of The Bad Batch that actually feels driven by conflict between characters. Two siblings are processing the same life altering event in different ways and have to reconcile this while also addressing a larger problem at hand. For as much as Omega may insist that she and her squadmates are a family “The Crossing” is one of the first times in quite a while where they actually feel like one. These quiet moments of Tech and Omega discussing their emotions and trying to understand one another are great and testament once again to the fantastic voice work by Dee Bradley Baker and Michelle Ang.
On a different note, it does seem like things with Cid are coming to a breaking point. Our grumpy old lizard can only screw over our team so many times before they call it quits and take their talents elsewhere. Maybe next week’s episode, which presumably will address many of the lingering plot points left over from “The Crossing,” is when we see this relationship break down for good.
Score: B+

Screener Squad: Star Trek Discovery - Season 5 STAR TREK DISCOVERY – SEASON 5 REVIEW These are the voyages of the starship Discovery. Its five-season mission: to set-up spin-off shows; to seek out new fans and new demographics, to boldly go where no Trek series has gone before: the streaming era! While some may prefer the episodic format of Strange New Worlds, the goofy meta-comedy of Lower Decks, or the nostalgia-fest that was Picard Season 3, the truth is that none of those shows would exist were it not for Discovery. Great Star Trek Rewatch - Enterprise S2
Originally posted on Twitter 6 September 2019 - 14 September 2019
Enterprise Season 2 is up next in my Great Star Trek Rewatch. As in Season 1, mini-reviews will document my progress.
Shockwave, Part 2: Most Star Trek cliffhangers have weak resolutions, but I think Shockwave is better than most. It’s a little gross to have Hoshi lose her shirt in front of Reed. The floating head gag is pretty great. And it’s fun to see the crew take their ship back. 8/10
Carbon Creek: One of ENT’s finest entries. No critiques here, just a perfect hour of Star Trek. 10/10
Minefield: Romulans! Mines! Body horror! The visuals still hold up after 17 years. Not showing the Romulans’ faces elevates the tension. 8/10
Dead Stop: If it seems too good to be true, it usually is. Luckily our heroes cotton to the sinister repair station’s motives quickly. The ending is appropriately eerie; I’d love to see DSC or PIC reference the station. 7/10
A Night in Sickbay: Season 2’s first dud. I love dogs but Archer’s obsession is almost out of character for him. I also don’t buy Phlox’s ignorance of human-pet bonds, since he claims to have learned a lot about humans. 2/10
Marauders: ENT’s heroes do The Magnificent Seven by way of The Road Warrior. Action-y but not necessarily memorable. 6/10
The Seventh: A spy mission! Involving T’Pol’s past! Guest starring Bruce Davison! Should be awesome and memorable, right? Unfortunately, no, it’s the opposite. There’s a reason it’s 87 out of 97 at TrekRanks. 5/10
The Communicator: Another pre-Prime Directive episode done blandly. It’s hard to put a new spin on a sublime TOS episode like “A Piece of the Action.” Trip’s cloaked hand gag is great. 5/10
Singularity: What starts off as light and farcical becomes sinister. Not particularly memorable except for “Reed Alert,” and “CARROTS!” 5/10
Vanishing Point: Hoshi has a bad transporter experience. Shades of “Realm of Fear,” but that episode was more entertaining. Strong concept, middling effort in execution. 4/10
Precious Cargo: A glorified sex slave was icky in 1991, and the same role (the same alien race too) in 2002 is twice as icky. This attempt at The African Queen/Temple of Doom homage is just a misfire on all cylinders. Trip and Kaitaama have zero chemistry. 0/10
The Catwalk: The neutronic wave front was a clever concept from VOY, and it was fun to see it again in ENT. Instead of Irish villages, we have militaristic aliens trying to steal the NX-01. A decent effort. 6/10
Dawn: I liked this one better when it was a TNG episode called “The Enemy.” 2/10
Stigma: An AIDS parable that is still relevant, unfortunately. The fact that T’Pol suffered consequences from Tolaris’s assault while he got off scot-free still stings, but it shines a light on the bigotry still facing LGBTQ+ people today. 7/10
Cease Fire: While I enjoy episodes featuring the Vulcan-Andorian conflict, especially those involving Shran, I don’t get much out of this one. Suzie Plakson as Shran’s lieutenant is pitch-perfect casting. The plot line moves forward but otherwise it’s a dull outing. 6/10
Future Tense: An intergalactic, inter temporal mystery! Plus, Tholians, Suliban, and Daniels' temporal database. And the mysterious timeship is…smaller on the outside ;) 7/10
Canamar: You've seen one prison break episode, you've seen them all. I kept waiting for Zoumas to be revealed as some master criminal, but it never came. Kuroda was well acted, but it's just another forgettable prison break episode. 5/10
The Crossing: Possession by non-corporeal beings has been done many, many times by Star Trek, but this episode belongs near the bottom of the list. No randy candle ghosts = no redeeming qualities. 5/10
Judgment: Klingon judicial intrigue a la The Undiscovered Country, with a side of "Rules of Engagement." Kolos is a great character. Not much happens though; Archer and Kolos are on Rura Penthe for all of five minutes before an off-screen rescue. Glad to see Hertzler again. 7/10
Horizon: Finally, a Mayweather episode! Finally, more boomer action! Why so dull? It's not Mayweather's fault. It's just a paint-by-numbers family drama. Not bad, not great, just cromulent. 6/10
The Breach: A twist on "Jetrel" where Phlox is Jetrel and the guest star is Neelix. Unfortunately, it hits all the same notes as the superior VOY episode. The B-plot of Denobulan scientists is also a letdown. 4/10
Cogenitor: A gut-wrenching ending elevates a worthy reinterpretation of "The Outcast." Archer and Trip's final scene in the ready room is a masterclass in directing, acting, and editing. 10/10
Regeneration: It tries too hard to keep our heroes from identifying the Borg, but damn if it isn't entertaining. The opening scenes give the Borg the creepiness factor they've been lacking since First Contact, and the effects are top-notch. Just a rip-roaring ride. 8/10
First Flight: Top-notch guest casting, powerful back story for Archer and Tucker, and a thrilling conclusion. Here's to you, A.G. 8/10
Bounty: Ugh. This episode. Ugh. Archer's scenes with Skalaar are fine. T'Pol's decon scene with Phlox, and her early-onset pon farr, is just an excuse to get Jolene Blalock into her skivvies and drags the score way down. 3/10
The Expanse: This episode floors it from the jump and doesn't let up until the NX-01 clears the thermobaric clouds. This is one of my all-time favorite season finales, and my favorite episode from Season 2. 10/10
And with that, Season 2 of ENT comes to an end in my Great Star Trek Rewatch. Final score: 5.92/10. Highest score(s): "Carbon Creek," "Cogenitor," "The Expanse." Lowest score(s): “Precious Cargo"

My review on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 1. (No Spoilers)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/9416be26cf3bd7239540095e115d537d/8abb9505de8ebf55-a0/s400x600/3784e49ff15e6dae2e1dfcfc23b4113d2bcccd2a.jpg)
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is spin-off series from Star Trek: Discovery and follows the adventures of Captain Pike(Anson Mount), his Science Officer Spock(Ethan Peck) and Number One(Rebecca Romijn) as they explore new worlds around the galaxy onboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. In my opinion, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is the best Star Trek series I've seen in a long time, and its' first season was just fantastic! The series is returning this month for its' second season and it looks like were in for another wild adventure!

Here's a review from ign, it's not getting good reviews. At all.
I realize everyone's got their minds on other things right now, but it is absolutely wild to me that there is a whole-ass new Star Trek (TV) movie starring academy award winner Michelle Yeoh dropping this week, and I haven't heard a single peep of anticipation or excitement from any corner of the Star Trek fandom or, indeed, anyone outside it.

Hello everyone this is my first ever story so please no negative and hate reviews please. What this is is that it's KH3 so Mario is by himself and looking for Peach, and this starts a couple days before Ryuko shows up. Mario has many of his powers and abilities from his franchise. He is also based off of Movie Mario/Chris Pratt. Anyway, let's-a begin reading and I hope you enjoy.
The Mario Hearts 3 logo appears on screen, along with the illustration of Mario, Peach, Sora and Kairi sharing the Paopu fruits as they walk into the ocean.

Episode Honnouji selected
A clear file of Mario Hearts 3 must be selected
→Save file: Scala ad Caelum: Stairway to the sky-level 45
As the save file is selected, the logo starts spinning, and the illustrations of Peach and Kairi is replaced by Ryuko Matoi before the screen turns to white
The way the city ascended to the sky reminded Mario of the town where he, Luigi, Toad, Sora, Donald and Goofy confronted and defeated Xehanort. As he stood on the bridge that lead to the entrance he knew the search for Peach was going to long as he looked at the super star wayfinder good luck charm she made. Peach gave it to him the day before the final battle with Xehanort's true organization XIII.
"She's here, I know it." Mario said to himself as he looked at the screen. "If you don't know who I am, My name is Mario, and I'm on a journey. Me and my friends fought an evil mastermind called Master Xehanort from opening the door to the heart of all worlds. We stopped him, but I lost the most important person to me during the battle, now I'm here in this new world to find her." He explained as he took another look at the city. "And I'm not leaving until I know where she is." He vowed as he walked across the bridge into the town.

(The slums)
As Mario walked through the slums he quickly noticed the looks from some of the townsfolk, it reminded him of port royal with all those pirates giving him similar looks, but it was probably his outfit that made him stand out, which made him a little uncomfortable.
"Well, at least this isn't the Caribbean, I'd get robbed before I could even blink." Mario commented as a chibi Jack Sparrow appeared on his shoulder and jumped into Mario's pocket to grab his wallet.
"Hahaha!" The mini Jack Sparrow laughed as he poofed off Mario's shoulder.
"You see? Like that." Mario said as he continued walking through the city until he began climbing up stairs as a young boy ran down it and made a circle around the mushroom kingdom hero.
"Oops, sorry sir." The boy said as he disappeared back into the town.
"Guess this place isn't all bad as I thought." Mario said to himself and looked upwards to the top of the city. "Hmmm if I were Peach I'd probably go to that building at the top of the city, if she's here at all." To be honest to himself he wasn't 100 percent sure that the power of waking brought him to the right place, at the very least maybe he could find a clue to where Peach might have disappeared to. As Mario made his trek to the top he walked by a tv store, what was on the tv upfront caught his attention.
"..And what can be made of the strange shadow monster appearing in honnou city?" Said the reporter on the tv.
"Say What?" Mario questioned as he turned around to see the tv.
"According to lady Satsuki, these strange creatures will be dealt with as soon as a second female as a safety measure, lady satsuki has warned all civilians to stay away from-"*blink*
"Wait what the-, nononono what happened!?" Mario exclaimed.
"Power doesn't come cheap ya know." the old man store owner claimed. "10 yen an hour!"
"What? You got a bunch of-*sigh* alright then." Mario said, deciding not to argue as he reached into his overalls pocket he only found it to be empty. "Huh? Wait, what the, when did- " that's when it hit him harder than Xemnas throwing buildings at him. "That kid, that little thief! Hold that thought, sir. I gotta go and shake out someone's pockets."
Holding out aren't cha?JUNIOR! That's when the store owner's large supposed son came out of nowhere crushing a trash can.
"Mamma Mia." Which is all Mario could say at the moment before he got thrown like a "-oof!" He groaned as Mario landed hard on the ground. "Welp it's official, I do not like this place already."
"YOU THERE!" A loud voice yelled from behind Mario as he jumped straight up from the surprise as he looked behind himself to see a man in a white outfit with tan skin and blond hair larger than the one that threw Mario appeared behind him causing the mushroom kingdom hero to shrink a little in fear.
"Is there any reason why YOU ARE NOT ON SCHOOL GROUNDS" Yelled the large man.
"Huh?! What?!" Mario questioned as he realized he was thrown all the way to the building at top and now realized it was a school and looked at the screen. "I guess now's a good time to confess I haven't been to school since me, Luigi, Sora and Riku went to take the mark of mastery test. Oh, and I slept through most of actual school."
"Well? I'm waiting to hear your excuse." The man said as he bent down to his face making Mario realize how huge the guy was.
"Ah, well you see I'm really a student here, this all one big misunderstan-"
"I'VE HEARD THAT ONE BEFORE NICE TRY!"
"Oh, okay. So, if I had to guess you're gonna drag me in there now. But I got places to be,sooooo-LATER!" Said Mario as he tried making a run for it, he ran towards the ledge near the entrance to make one of his "warp pipes" to escape, only for a red spiked whip to suddenly grab him and tie the mushroom kingdom hero up.
"HA! Nice try you little punk." Said the man as he was reeling in Mario like a fish. "No one is skipping school on my watch or my name isn't IRA GAMAGORI!" The man named Gamagori shouted as he started dragging Mario into the school.
"Is that your name?"Asked Mario.
"IT IS!"
(Classroom)
"Ok class, settle down now, meet our newest attempted runaway, Mario." Said the teacher called Aikuro Mikisugi.
"Newest runaway?" Mario questioned.
"Oh yeah. Usually, people on their first day here will try to make a run for it when they see what the academy is like, but always get caught by the discipline committee. It's always either a student or a teacher." Aikuro said as he drew on the chalkboard while the scene froze and Mario turned to the screen.
"You know, I'd rather fight Bowser, Xehanort and Sephiroth all at the same time then stay here any longer. This place is crazy!" Mario commented as the scene resumed.
" Okay, Mario. there's actually an empty seat for you right there next to miss mankanshoku." Aikuro said as he pointed with his pen to the bowl haircut girl pointing excitedly to her right. As soon as Mario sat down the girl greeted him right away.
"Hi there, I'm Mako Mankanshoku!" Said the girl happily.
"Hello Mako, I'm Mario." The mushroom kingdom hero as he returned the greeting and tipped his hat to her.
"You're hat is funny, it's like it came out of a videogame." Mako pointed out, which made Mario feel his hat after Mako's comment, but then remembered the main reason for not yet sneaking out of the school.
"Oh, Mako, I'm actually looking for someone." Mario said as he pulled the gummiphone out of his pocket. "Her name is Peach, she's the girl with the crown in the picture. Have you seen her?" He asked as he showed Mako a photo of him, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Sora, Riku, and Kairi on the islands the day before they left for the keyblade graveyard.
"Nope." Mako said with a smile which made Mario sighed with some disappointment even though he knew it was a long shot, then he remembered the reporters on the tv talking about someone named Satsuki. To him, it sounded like she was in charge of this place and may provide the mushroom kingdom hero a clue.
"Hey, Mako do you know where I can find a-"
"*Snore*" Mako moaned as she suddenly fell asleep without any warning.
"Oh, nevermind." Mario said as he decided to let Mako sleep in peace.
(Outside in the courtyard)
"*yawn* That was more boring than my actual school." Mario said to himself since it took all of his energy not to fall asleep in class like Mako did. Aikuro's own voice other than his lecture made him drowsy until the bell rang and he thanked whatever higher power was watching over him, now in the school's enormous courtyard and was thinking about how he could find Satsuki. "Hmm, I wonder if that Gamagori guy could tell where Satsuki is. But I wonder where he might've gone."
*BOOM*
"That could be a good place to start looking." Mario said as he started to run towards the source of the explosion, hoping that Gamagori may have seen it as well. The source of the explosion was actually none other than Mako, who was covered in smoke and standing in the middle of a garden where the entire club, including the president running it was staring daggers at the girl.
"What kind of walking disaster are you, no-star?!" The club president, Kusanosuke Yaguruma shouted.
"Did I do something wrong?" Mako asked, clueless..
"You just blew up the garden! With regular plant fertilizer!"
"I'm sure what you mean. I'm usually good with plants." Mako said as she patted a lone flower on its head and caused it to shrivel up,turned black and died, much to the horror of the whole gardening club.
"Okay, no star. Time for you to find out what happens when you disgrace the scared flower bed!" Yaguruma said as he poured water out of the dark red canisters that were attached to his hands onto the ground and a giant plant monster came bursting out of the ground.
"Ah! Oh no! It's just like the movies where alien plants disguise themselves as hot models and then eat everyone!" Mako exclaimed as the whole gardening club including the plant monster sweat dropped at her strange comment.
"Okay, enough of your babbling. Sick her boy!" Yaguruma ordered the plant monster and it charged at Mako, only to miss when she suddenly disappeared in a flash of red light, much to Yaguruma and the gardening club's confusion. "The hell?! Where did she go?!" he questioned as a club member tapped on his shoulder and pointed to the other side of the garden where Mario had set Mako on the ground after saving her.
"You alright, Mako?" Mario asked.
"Uh, yeah?" Mako answered with confusion on how she was saved as Yaguruma became annoyed.
"Hey! Mustached no star!" Yaguruma yelled to get Mario's attention. "You're interfering with the punishment of a club member, who's crime is damaging the club's flower bed!"
"So you were gonna feed her to a plant monster? That doesn't seem very fair for a few flowers." Mario stated as he looked over the damage, Mako. "Okay, maybe more than a few.."
"Well, if you wanna defend the girl, then you're gonna have to share the same punishment as her! Get 'em Yagurumara junior!" The club president ordered his monster to attack again as it lunged at Mario. Only to be easily smashed down when Mario powered up with his power Star he summoned to duck under the monster and punch it's steam in half. Causing the entire creature to fall down and wither, much to the shock of the gardening club.
"So, you wanna let this one go, or do I have to do more gardening?" Mario asked as he adjusted his hat. Needless to say, his taunt angered Yaguruma.
"What are you morons waiting around for?! Get him!" Yagurumara yelled at the other club members as they began running at Mario, in an attempt to ram him.
"Really? Let's-a go!" Mario exclaimed as he readied himself and jumped high into the air and preformed a series of stomps on the gardening club members, easily knocking them down with the stomps.
"The hell are you guys doing?! Get up!" Yaguruma ordered the gardening club members, only for the order to fail when one lifted his head up and coughed up smoke in response. "Uck! Fine, I'll do it myself!" He said as he poured water from his watering can and called up two more plant monsters that began attacking Mario with their jaws, only to miss when he dodged out of the way.
"Guess I better stop playing!" Mario said as he made a question block appear above him as he jumped up and smashed it as it came a Fire Flower Power Up and Mario used it and transformed into his Fire Flower Form. He jumped into the air as the plant monsters took more bites at him as Yaguruma was taken by surprise at Mario's transformation.
"The hell?! The no star has a goku uniform?!" Yaguruma said, even though Mario's outfit was actually what he thought it was as he watched Mario burn through both plant monsters with a vicious fireball combo. "He had to have stolen it! I better go tell lady Sat-" He said as he tried to leave the battle until he felt a hand on his shoulder and looked behind himself to see Mario.
"Going somewhere?" Mario asked as he put a fireball in his hand and unleashed a barrage of slightly larger fireballs that burned the gardening club president.
"AAAAAHHHHHH!" Yaguruma yelled out in pain as the fire from the barrage of fireballs made his skeleton clearly visible until he fell to the ground in a smoking heap while Mario returned to his normal form.
"Nice harvest guys. Let's do this next fall." Mario quipped as he dismissed his power star and dusted off his hands as Mako suddenly jumped in his back.
"That was really cool, Mario! Are you some sort of superhero sent to our school for a secret undercover mission?" Mako questioned as she searched underneath Mario's overalls with the small hope of finding a cape.
"That would be a no, Mako." Mario answered when the ground suddenly rumbled from Gamagori when he came stomping into the scene.
"Hmmmmmmmm.." Gamagori grumbled as he stared angry at Mario after he surveyed the scene of the defeated gardening club.
"Oh, hey. Gamagori was it? I was actually looking for you." Mario said as Gamagori silently responded by extending his whip to tie up Mario again.
"You better leave for this one, Mako." Mario said.
"Okay!" Mako said as she suddenly vanished from Mario's back to run away as fast as she could.
(Meanwhile)
"Lady Satsuki. We seem to have a disturbance in the gardening area." A young man with blue hair and glasses said as he tapped at a computer and reported to a young, but mature sitting on a throne drinking tea.
"Report then." The woman said.
"It seems no star student, Mako Makanshoku has blown up, yet, another club area." The young man said.
"And this is news, how?"
"Well, when the gardening club president was about to discipline her, someone stepped in and defeated the whole club." The young man explained to the woman named Satsuki which caught her interest.
"Show me the security video, Inumuta. I'd like to see this for myself." Satsuki said as the young man named Inumuta displayed a video of Mario's fight with the gardening club, and their easy defeat. But it wasn't just Mario's abilities that caught Satsuki's attention, but his power star as well. "Gamagori is already on the scene to apprehend the newcomer, but I can't find any record of him being a student here."
"Could it be?" Satsuki mumbled to herself as she continued to watch the video of Mario using the power star in battle. "Contact Gamagori and tell him to bring the newcomer to my chamber. I'd like to see this new face for myself."
