So, downloading STALKER 2.. with the download speed in negative numbers, because internetz in the centre of Prague is just abysmal. But i am okay with it because i am pretty sure my computer won't be able to run it anyway lmaoo. Anyway hyping myself up with doodling at least <3 ..ballpoint pens and squid ink hand -^ and parallel pen -v

The release of the sequel to the 2007 cult classic S.T.A.L.K.E.R is now live. The devs, GSC Game World Team, released a brief heartfelt statement in recognition of what it took to make this game under wartime conditions. Several members of the dev team are currently in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and two have unfortunately died in battle.

One dev, Volodymyr Yezhov, was killed fighting russian forces near Bakhmut. He left behind a brother, Viacheslav Yezhov, who remembers him saying, "Ukraine’s fight today is forging a brighter future for our children."

For the entire dev team, this game is their "love letter to Ukraine". Consider getting a copy of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: The Heart of Chornobyl to support the devs and to support Ukraine.

Stalker 2 is everything I could've hoped for. I'm still super early game but it's hitting all the right notes. I haven't seen any bugs but the performance is really bad. Like 1080p, low preset, with an upscaler just to maintain 90+ fps on a mid range PC bad. But if my PC can handle Starfield and Cyberpunk at native 1440p I'm confident optimization patches will roll out later down the line. Regardless, it's exactly the vibe I was hoping for.

Also, I love this little guy.
