STAIN LIVES. My reasons?

he swam from tarerus, remained standing when he passed out due to his lung being punctured, and remains concious when he was thrown through a building. The man is unkillable.

if Horikoshi doesn't show me a body, the tests confirming the body, a death certificate, and All Might confirming Stain is dead- I SHALL NOT BELIEVE IT

Why must Stain live?

because the idea of him and All Might being beaten and broken beyond all repair coughing up blood togeather would be hilarious. They're the only two who would be unshaken by their own injuries, and equally unshaken by eachothers injuries. Stain coughs up blood and All Might just wordlessly hands him a tissue.

Stain lost his quirk. Blood powers aside- his quirk also includes his 50cm long tongue. This is the biggest injury to him. Man loves to talk, but now he sounds like he just got his wisdom teeth removed because he has no clue what to do with an average length tongue.

If Toshinori were to try and cheer Stain up after he lost his quirk and were to ask "is there anything you couldn't do with your quirk that you can now?" you KNOW the only thought on Stain's mind is the fact he can now kiss All Might without parylizing him. (what a tragic match up, guy who paralyizes people if he licks blood, and guy who coughs up a soup worth of blood on a good day)

The look on Naomasa's face when he enters that hospital room to see All Might and the Hero Killer making out sloppy style in their critically injured states without any regard for the amount of blood between them would be PRICELESS
