Every butch I've ever met has been built like a Stafforshire bull terrier in the best possible way. Sometimes they are puppy, sometimes they are grey in the muzzle.

I've said this before but like. As a young butch who had the good fortune of being raised around older butch lesbians I will forever be dumbfounded that the popular perception most people have of butches is apparently "skinny 20-something with short hair and biceps." I mean don't get me wrong, I partially fit that stereotype myself. But I have never considered that to be the norm. All of the butch lesbians I grew up around were in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and built like a fucking freight train. And I don't just mean they had aesthetically sculpted muscles. True muscle strength requires body fat to support it (think bodybuilder vs strongman) and the lesbian community has historically celebrated the things that straight society finds "unattractive" about women's bodies anyways. The pinnacle of butchness has always specifically included fat mascs in my opinion, and it boggles my mind that when a lot of people think of the word "butch" they're thinking of like, Ruby Rose in OITNB and not a 40 year old lesbian with a dad bod who could carry all three of her kids at once if she felt like it

May 7th - High on Morridge, on a farm access track, a wee lamb was spotted trapped but unhurt in a cattle grid, his momma close by calling mournfully for help with his siblings stood close by.

Approaching gently, the lamb - surprisingly heavy and very muscular, much more so than a dog the same size - was lifted free and offered to the mother gently. He bounded to her, and she bleated loudly, then they all ran off.

I’d like to think the ewe was thanking me, but it sounded more like ‘sod off!’...

Good deed for a long, sunny ride.

I cant tell if my rescue dog is actually not used to exercise or if he’s still just adjusting to my place

First two days he would get sick if he walked more than a half mile total but then he started to settle ans we’re walking again but I’m worried about pushing him too much but he’s also an Australian Shepherd mix and I don’t want him to be destructive once he finishes settling due to lack of exercise but I also don’t want him to vomit from exercise even if he is finally eating and has more energy

ESP since he won’t eat any kibble or rice or veggies only boiled chicken or other meats, I’d withhold it but he has meds he needs to take and chucking chicken at him with the pills inside is the only way to make him eat it. Even chicken broth means nothing to him the spoiled butt. I’ve only had him a week so maybe I should just give him longer to adjust or try and shove kibble in the chicken to trick him
