[ What a swell day! ] [ The birds are chirping and Mr Sun is out and everything is so lovely!! ] [ And in the distance, Vinnie might vaguely make out the faint outline of a little woodland creature crawling towards him. It looks like it could be a large wolf ] [ A large wolf.. using only it's front two legs to drag itself. Oh, and it's getting closer. The pitiful sounds of it wailing and groaning began to fill the air as it drew near, trembling as it did so ] [ Wait.. No this is no wolf at all. It's Simon Sprinkle!! A very crumpled looking Simon Sprinkle.. His hoodie was tattered, fur on his back forming sharp bristled spikes, claws unsheathed and digging into the dirt, eyes blood-shot and unfocused ] [ And on his stomach, a large maw that anyone from a distance could easily just mistake for a bloodied wound ] [ Simon continues to sob. Sniffle. Collapse onto the ground every time he gets up, then continue to drag himself over ]

" uuu .. uuhaah .. " " vviiinniiee .. "

Vinnie sits alone on his front porch, simply enjoying the warm sun and cool breeze on this fine day. He'd been working himself too hard recently... He needed a break! It took a hot minute for him to notice Simon approaching, but it took even longer for him to realize who it was. And what was happening. "Simon?" Vinnie mutters quietly, wincing and gasping in pain as he pushes himself up onto his feet. He sways briefly, grabbing his crutch to hobble across the garden and open one of the gates. "Simon! Si-fi! Sunshine, is that you??" Ignoring the searing pain deep in his bones, Vinnie hurries (well, 'hurries') over to his injured friend and falls to his knees in front of them. His throat feels dry and his stomach churns at the sight, but he's immediately trying to get Simon's attention and to figure out what the hell happened. "Dude?! What the- are-...?- Oh my god, dude, what the hell is going on?"
