So, did Black look like a human when he first entered Smalltowne?

Maybe? He looked kinda like this

He’s still bald (He plucks at his feathers) BUT with a bit more peacock inspired feathers also he used to have wings (when he was younger- Lost those pretty early due to being born in a cult that went “ No, you can’t have those, You will try to fly to the sun in vain” and lopped em off along with carving sun imagery onto him)

The feathers do grow back but man’s habit keeps at least his head bare and is why he’s hooded like 80% of the time. Also sometimes makes quills out of molted tail feathers.
