"They're one in the same kiddo" Nerv winced through the last dregs of his drink as it pleasantly burnt his throat.
"What do you mean, Mr Rudolph?"
"It means champ, you need to stop calling me that, I'm Gramps to you now. Your Mum, Freddie, is my daughter and your Aunty Fred" Nerv chuckled as his index finger frantically moved from person-to-person as they were mentioned.
Sharing a mix of excited gasps and squeals, Sprout and Belva beamed at each other.
"I'M YOUR ANTY!!"
"THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENCE BUT YAY!"
"Not much in our family does bud, but you're welcome round anytime, family always is"

Tell me Molly and her family's favourite Christmas traditions!
Thank you for the ask!
The Yates family definitely love watching Christmas movies together. Although, Molly and Emily detest the Rankin/Bass holiday specials except for Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman. For Molly's first Christmas, David bought The Snowman on VHS and it has been a regular part of the Yates family Christmas viewing list ever since. Mike bought a copy for when they visited him for Christmas. David replaced the well-loved videotape with a DVD when they moved to the UK. Other staples are at least one adaptation of A Christmas Carol, the first two Home Alone films, and Miracle on 34th Street. After the girls got a little older and arguments ensued over what is considered a Christmas movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Die Hard, and Love Actually would join the lineup.
As for food, it's going to be a traditional British Christmas meal, or as close as David can get to it when living in the US. That's not to say that the girls love every dish. They get tired of turkey and hate both Brussels sprouts and fruitcake. Mike always makes Yorkshire pudding. David loves to bake, as he used to do so with his mother when he was young. But as the girls were born and raised in the United States for their formative years, he did have to adapt to some American traditions. Baking Christmas cookies and decorating gingerbread houses are mandatory but fun family activities. They'll even get a bit competitive about it. The girls definitely left out milk and cookies for Santa.
When they were little, David and Mike would take turns reading classic Christmas stories to the girls.
Molly and Emily didn't get to enjoy Christmas crackers until visiting Mike in England for the first time.

Krampus - Unveiling the Dark Companion of Christmas Shaina Tranquilino December 28, 2023
Tumblr media
During the holiday season, we often find ourselves immersed in the joy and cheer associated with Santa Claus, Rudolph, and all things merry. However, there is one mysterious figure lurking in the shadows of our festive celebrations – Krampus. Originating from European folklore, this legendary creature serves as a dark counterpart to Santa Claus, embodying everything naughty and terrifying. In this blog post, we delve into the origins and cultural significance of Krampus.
Who is Krampus?
Krampus is a horned anthropomorphic figure with roots dating back to pre-Christian Alpine traditions. Known as the "Christmas Devil" or "Anti-Santa," he represents punishment for misbehaving children during the holiday season. Contrasting sharply with Santa's benevolent nature, Krampus embodies fear and discipline.
Historical Origins:
The exact origins of Krampus remain elusive due to its deep connection with ancient pagan rituals and folklore. However, it is widely believed that this mythical beast hails from Central European countries like Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, and Czech Republic. The legend of Krampus gained prominence during the 17th century when Christians began incorporating elements of folklore into their Christmas celebrations.
Appearance and Characteristics:
Depicted as a towering demonic creature with cloven hooves and long horns sprouting from his head, Krampus strikes fear into the hearts of mischievous children. His menacing appearance is complemented by sharp fangs, red eyes, and a long pointed tongue that evokes nightmares. Often portrayed carrying chains or birch branches used for swatting naughty kids, he also carries a basket on his back to transport particularly ill-behaved youngsters to an unknown fate.
Cultural Significance:
Despite his ominous reputation, Krampus plays an important role in European Christmas traditions. On December 5th each year (known as Krampusnacht), people gather to celebrate the Krampuslauf, a parade where participants dress up as the fearsome creature. This event showcases the duality of Christmas, reminding us that good and evil coexist in our lives.
Krampus also serves as a cautionary figure, encouraging children to behave throughout the year. The threat of being captured by Krampus encourages them to be on their best behaviour, ensuring they make it onto Santa's nice list instead.
Modern Popularity:
In recent years, Krampus has gained popularity beyond European borders. His unique blend of fright and fascination has found its way into mainstream media, inspiring movies, books, and even an annual Krampus-themed run in various cities worldwide. Additionally, numerous merchandise items featuring his image have become highly sought-after collectibles during the holiday season.
During the festive season filled with joy and warmth, let us not forget the presence of Krampus lurking in the shadows – a reminder that while Christmas brings happiness and gifts, it also holds lessons in discipline and responsibility. As this legendary figure continues to captivate our imaginations with his dark allure, we must remember that every legend carries profound cultural significance and adds depth to our traditional celebrations. So next time you hear a faint jingle of bells or glimpse a shadowy figure out of the corner of your eye during Christmas time, don't dismiss it too quickly - it might just be Krampus paying a visit!

ribbon, Santa, Rudolph, candy cane, hot cocoa, Yule Log, snowman
Ribbon: What’s a book that had a strong impact on you? As a writer, definitely David & Leigh Eddings The Elenium/The Tamuli series and The Belgariad/The Mallorean series. Like, I am so invested in those world and those characters as I read them, and I want my writing to pull people in and make them want to stay in the same way. As a reader? The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster and Alice In Wonderland/Alice Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Caroll.
Santa: What’s your favorite month? Ocober! Halloween is my favoritest holiday ever.
Rudolph: What’s a band a family member introduced you to? My sister got me into Switchfoot after she did the lighting rig at one of their concerts. They're playing in San Diego tomorrow night (FOR FREE) in Balboa Park at the Organ pavilion if anyone wants to see them for December Nights.
Candy Cane: Can you make paper snowflakes? I can, but they look funky unless I start with a circular piece of paper that I didn't have to cut out.
Hot Cocoa: What’s your favorite thing about yourself? My creativity, even if it's waned a lot this year thanks to long haul COVID symptoms (brain fog, oh how I hate you).
Yule Log: Least favorite vegetable? Brussels sprouts. I might try them again if they were, like, roasted with garlic and parmesan? But I had a bad experience with steamed ones as a kid so I usually try and avoid them.
Snowman: Do you like accents? I do! And not just the popular or sexy ones, either.

So in my down time between unpacking physically, emotionally and mentally (it's been wild y'all) I've been playing other saves and a lil of the Rudolphs hoping I'd get an eureka moment with our boy sprout.
It happened at 2am. I shit you not I sat bolt upright out of a dead sleep and started hitting down ideas like a maniac.
He's going to be as chaotic as his Ma, but a shy simp boy like his robo-step-dad.
Possibly in an angsty band in his teen years, but we'll see.
TL;DR Our boy Sprout is gonna be utter riffraff and I'm excited

4. Use an attention-grabbing headline. Your headline should be engaging and make people want to learn more about what you’re offering.
5. Test, test, test! Be sure to test different versions of your ad before settling on one final design. Try out different headlines, images, videos, and offer discounts to see what works best for engagement and reach .
Using paid ads to boost engagement and reach during the holiday season can be a great way to get your message out there and drive more sales. Keep these tips in mind when creating your next ad campaign and you’ll be sure to see success!
Utilizing Trending Topics to Create Content
As a small business owner, you may not have the time or resources to create extensive holiday marketing campaigns. However, you can still take advantage of the holiday season by utilizing trending topics to create content that is relevant to your business.
For example, if you are a retailer, you can write blog posts about gift ideas for different types of recipients. If you are a restaurant owner, you can write about festive holiday menus or recipes. And if you are a service provider, you can write about how your business can help make the holiday season less stressful for your clients.
By writing content that is timely and relevant to the holidays, you can ensure that your business stays top-of-mind with your clients and customers during this busy time of year.
Creating Compelling Visuals for Your Posts
As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. So when it comes to your holiday marketing on social media, compelling visuals are key.
There are a few ways to make sure your visuals stand out and grab attention. First, use bright colors and festive themes that are appropriate for the season. Second, get creative with your visuals by using fun holiday-themed props or backdrops. And third, make sure your visuals are high quality and clear – no one wants to see blurry or pixelated photos!
By following these tips, you can be sure that your holiday visuals will be eye-catching and effective in helping you promote your business this season.
Crafting Engaging Campaigns & Promotions
When it comes to promoting your brand or product during the holiday season, it’s important to think outside the box and get creative with your campaigns and promotions. Here are a few quick and easy social media strategies that you can use to make sure your holiday marketing is engaging and effective:
1. Use festive hashtags: Hashtags are a great way to get your content seen by more people, and using festive hashtags during the holidays is a great way to make sure your content stands out. Some popular holiday hashtags include #Christmas, #Thanksgiving, and #NewYears.
2. Run a holiday-themed contest: Contests are always a fun and engaging way to promote your brand on social media. During the holidays, you can run a contest with a holiday-themed prize (e.g., a gift card to a popular restaurant or store) to get people excited about participating.
3. Offer exclusive discounts: Everyone loves a good deal, so offering exclusive discounts or promo codes for your products or services is a great way to engage with your audience during the holidays. Make sure to promote any discounts heavily on social media so people are aware of them!
4. Create holiday-themed content: Get into the spirit of the season by creating some festive and fun content for your social media channels. This could be anything from Christmas carols remixed as ads for your brand, to creative holiday-themed graphics featuring your products.
5. Feature user-generated content: Nothing engages an audience more than seeing others enjoying your product or brand. Ask your followers to share their holiday moments with you and repost their photos and videos on your social media channels. This is a great way to build relationships with your customers and show that you appreciate their support!
Repurposing Content
As the holidays approach, you may be thinking about ways to spruce up your social media presence. One great way to do this is to repurpose some of your older content. This can be a great way to save time and money, while still providing fresh and relevant content for your audience.
If you have blog posts or articles that are a few years old, consider updating them with new information or a fresh perspective. You can also use older content as the basis for new social media posts or even create an infographic from existing data. Whatever you do, make sure your repurposed content is still relevant and engaging for your audience.
If you’re not sure where to start, take a look at some of your most popular pieces of content and see how you can breathe new life into them. With a little effort, you can easily create holiday-themed content that will help boost your social media presence and reach new audiences.
Measuring Success of Your Campaigns
The holiday season is a busy time for businesses and marketers. To make the most of your marketing efforts, it’s important to measure the success of your campaigns. This will help you determine what’s working and what isn’t, so you can adjust your strategy for next year.
There are a few different ways to measure the success of your holiday marketing campaigns. One way is to track website traffic. This includes things like pageviews, unique visitors, and time on site. You can also track conversions, such as sales or sign-ups. Another way to measure success is through engagement metrics, such as likes, comments, and shares.
You can also survey your customers or clients to get feedback on your holiday marketing campaigns. This can be done via email, social media, or in person. Asking questions about what they liked or didn’t like will give you valuable insights that you can use to improve your campaigns in the future.
Which metric you focus on will depend on your goals for the campaign. However, tracking a few different metrics will give you a well-rounded view of how your campaign performed overall. By taking the time to measure the success of your holiday marketing campaigns, you’ll be able to fine-tune your strategy and ensure that next year is even more successful!
Conclusion
With our holiday marketing hacks, you should now be well on your way to creating engagement-boosting social media campaigns that will get the attention of potential customers. From finding creative ways to showcase products to leveraging influencers and giveaways, there are a multitude of tactics you can use this season. As the holidays draw closer, take advantage of these quick and easy strategies so that your brand stands out from the rest!

Very eccentric.
As befits a dude who would rather collect art and ponder alchemy than rule, but also very much not random.
Copies of the painting were distributed across Europe, this was a political statement, this was supposed to bolster grandeour and near divinity of emperorship.
Tumblr media
First there is the theme of the painting - Vertumnus
Vertumnus is a Roman god. And well, in Rudolph's time, in age of rennaissance, there wasn't much else beside Greco-Roman mythology that would be available and also not decried as pure devilry by church. But still, we are talking about deity that oversaw birth of Rome herself, clear callback to the empire on which tradition Holy Roman Empire was founded (yes, Voltaire, I know, Voltaire, it was neither holy, nor Roman, and by 18th century not much of empire either...). Habsburgs as heirs of Ceasar and Octavianus.
More specificaly Vertumnus is a god of seasonal change. That means he has control over frost breaking to let rivers flow and fields be worked, over crop growing under abudance of light rain and bright sun, or withering in drought and hail, over new beginnings and sweet fruits rewarding year-long hard labour. It is him who grants you your sustenance, your very survival. It is him who makes and breaks order of life and world. Order on which you depend and which you must not question, lest he might use his power to turn your life upside down. Without him in place all would fall into disarray. When he is halted, when he is ailing, all of you are as well. Beside guardianship he also enacts change while remaining eternal himself, the ultimate alchemist of all material bellow and immaterial above. And some radical changes were definitely afoot.
Tumblr media
Rudolph's were trying times.
Habsburgs were still surfing on high tide, greatest power in Europe and New World, with highest income, backing papacy (now that it's been tamed) and catholicism (except that time when Rudolph's father Maximilian flirted with conversion, to his wife's horror), acting a bit like policeman. But it was also a very precarious and taxing position.
On the outside Ottoman empire that spent last century and some trying to gobble up Medditeranean, flood Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth and break through Vienna gate to have free pass into German states, thus threatening European economic, religious and administrative core. On the inside religious wars between various christian denominations sprinkled with clashes against regional bodies which resisted centralization. And neighbouring kingdoms (especially France) eager to see Habsburgs taken down a peg.
All permeated with high expactations for the age of discoveries, be them unknown rich lands or emerging sciences twined with occult mysteries. Times in which educated and noble elite attempted to turn base metals into gold that would pay off their ever growing debts. Times in which John Dee hoped to learn from angels about secrets with which he could explain and alter cosmos.
To become master of natural forces, religious discourse and political stage who will fix the grand mess, stay afloat torrents of different court factions, defeat Turks, sort out squabling christians and become true global power from his cerebral position between earth and heaven must have been a very attractive image both to psych himself up and to present to the public. Aspirations so much loftier than eventual results of his reign. Melancholic affliction did not help.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then we can take a look at various details of the painting.
It is nothing short of smorgasbord. From early spring onions and summer cherries to late autumn chestnuts, crowned by wheat sown as trees shed their leaves before winter and sprouting from soil as soon as snows melt away. From basic grain and cabbage that feeds all the peasants to the expensive fruits like pomegranates and figs brought in carts of merchants travelling from distant countries, or flowers to be found only in the gardens of the richest. Grape that is mother of wine that is blood of Christ. And fairly universal currency as well. Olives that are mother of oil. Also currency. And the most exotic items of them all - corn, pumpkin, cucumber, all discovered in New World.
All this belongs to the holy roman emperor, folks, this vast territory, this wealth, this beauty, this power to pluck and use and share whatever he wishes from the very edges of earth.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also...
I can't be the only one who finds those cherries in place of his lips rather erotic. Wouldn't wish to fuck him (sorry, Dolph), but those cherry lips sure are very suggestive. He was a hoe and he's got syphilis to prove it too.

"That's one way to put it" Nerv half laughed, half sighed as he lent on the open bedroom door.
"Dad! What took you so long?"
"Well Belbo.." Nerv began, as he took a big swig of his "coffee" and lent on the dresser "..I've been having a big talk with Aunty Fred"
Belva's brow furrowed in confusion as she turned to fully face her now amused looking father.
"..Why were you talking with Aunty Fred? I thought you where talking to Sprout's grown ups?"

Trio United. Felix x rime x mc. Poly mutual relationship.
• These two men plus you are whipped for each other 24/7.
• Teases are at maximum with rime and you being snarky trying to one-up the other. Sage and anisa always, ALWAYS see you three cuddling on the couch or taking naps. They made an inside joke which gets Rime and Felix to roll their eyes. While holding hands underneath a blanket their both wrapped together in. Touched starved, sirs.
• Forehead kisses. Kiss him, then you, next I smooch him and after you. Repeat the cycle.
• Hugs from the back, side-to-side, front hugs, or group hugs.
• Favorite time is family game night. Competitiveness is unbelievable. No one is safe. Flirty and notoriously asking to be bench pressed by both cheeky men, as you kick each other underneath the table.
• The top ten betrayals are when Rime caresses your inner thigh making you jump and lose focus. You lose a turn in the next rounds. Giving him the lead. Distracting Felix by stealing a kiss here and there so he fumbles every match. Felix messes with rime's tail, swishing at his cold slender fingers. Rime forfeits the round with a pout and slight blush.
• This is a common occurrence year-round. Switches. ;)
• Book club to the point all three read to each other without a doubt. You made them matching bookmarks.
• Style or braid each other's hair. Team effort is when the two men recognize the importance of facial care. Massages can be beneficial. Help with their eyeliner. Blow in their ears to spook them. Do it!
• Rime gives you head pats. Felix praises your efforts for every spell you've mastered. Training is a must. Exhausted. No biggie. Sit on either one's lap.
• Encourage felix to pick up new hobbies. Ask him about the finer details of his taxidermy, writing, and hand-made accessories.
• Rub rime's shoulders and entwine your fingers through his hair. Buy him jewelry for his antlers. Praise him on the double.
• Hold hands in public or private. Doesn't matter to you guys. Change it up. Felix in the middle of you and rime. Rime giving you a piggyback and walking beside felix. You carrying felix while rime laughs at his beat red flabbergasted expression.
• No secrets amongst each other. Trust is composed of earning respect, listening to concerns, and supporting a s/o. Arguments. (Walk away. Take a breathe. And resume on calmer grounds.) Never take sides. Three stories and the truth. Keep friends and family out of arguments. Talk to each other until a solution is agreed upon by the entire group.
• Nicknames for rime (Bambi, Rudolph, deer boy 😶🙌 forest grump, strawberry). For felix (bean sprout, green bean, olive boy, emo prince, gothic crow)
• Sugar daddies.
• The trio shares rooms. Borrow stuff but bring felix stuff back he is strict about his book system.
• Look deep into their eyes. Staring contest. Begin. Poke them. You win!
•Your phone screen is the two men splashing each other in the bathhouse.
• Purchasing the same thing to realise you three shared a single brain cell at once.
• Explaining the situation to others. "These precious men are mine. I'm their's, what more is there to say." Confused onlooker. Sigh. "Think of it like chocolate mousse. I'm the whipped cream. Rime is the chocolate mousse and felix is the chocolate ganache." Still perplexed. "Delicious! Yet, satisfying all together in a swirl of delight!"
• One of you injured. Beast mode activated. Healers are on the scene. Smiley bandaids.
• Date nights. Table for three. They know your drinks and orders. Feed you one spoonful at a time. Pays the check. Don't leave without dessert!:)
• Dancing however, the party is wherever the trio goes. Dip each other. Karaoke.
• Count rimes freckles... he has 22. You've been blessed.
• Connect Felix beauty marks. I think there are 34. 35. Kiss each one for good luck..
• Notify each other the love that burns bright when seeing each other again and again daily.
• Never give up on each other.

Prompt given: Alien Rudolph
Living on a series of islands on a low-gravity planet, Abigail's Rudolph is a bizzare herbivore with an odd resemblance to the deer of earth, folds of skin between it's legs and tail allow it to glide from island to island, and it's horns allow it to make haunting, flute-like calls, which echo unsettlingly through the mist, a bio-luminescent growth sprouts from it's nose, speculated to act as a form of sexual display, similar to firefly on earth.

HAIKYUU CHARACTERS AND THINGS THEY DO AT CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR (ANIME ONLY FOR NOW):
Karasuno:
Daichi: He gets Christmas patterned socks... Like Christmas trees, snowmen, the whole shebang
Suga: Starts singing that Mariah Carey song on the 1st of November
Asahi: Hums Christmas carols under his breath bcs they got stuck in his head
Ennoshita, Narita and Kinoshita: 'Forgotten Teammates' Secret Santa
Tanaka (+ Saeko): Make Christmas food together (it's not great and has an overabundance of alcohol, courtesy of Saeko)
Noya: Misses a practice bcs he choked on an advent chocolate
Tsukishima (+ Akiteru): Tsukki tends to to stay in his room and the most festive decoration he'll have is a single paper chain... Akiteru dresses up as Santa
Yamaguchi: Goes to Tsukki's house for Christmas dinner, dresses as a Christmas tree for no reason
Kageyama: 3 words... Christmas flavoured milk (he made it himself and it tastes disgusting)
Hinata (+ Natsu): Their family always hosts a New Year's Eve party, they both have matching elf costumes and love Christmas crackers and New Year's fireworks
Kiyoko: Has the best wrapping skills known to man, only gets the 3rd years and Yachi presents - refuses to wear a sexy christmas outfit much to Tanaka and Noya’s dismay
Yachi: HANDMADE CHRISTMAS CARDS FOR EVERYONE AND THEY’RE ALL UNIQUE AND PERSONALISED - SHE EVEN GIVES THEM TO PEOPLE FROM OTHER TEAMS
Ukai and Takeda: They go drinking together for New Years
Aoba Joshai:
Oikawa: That one person who has no clue how to wrap a present, he also hangs out with his sister and nephew on Christmas day
Iwaizumi: That one person who is insanely good at wrapping presents and gets the best presents too
Mattsun: Gets people gag gifts
Makki: Gives people gifts but like 3 days after Christmas bcs he forgot
Yahaba: Teams up with Oikawa to decorate the entire gym with tinsel... Also really likes sparkly baubles
Kyoutani: He always gets given calendars with different dog pictures... He also never turns up to parties
Watari: The best person to have over for New Years because he’s the calmest
Kindaichi: The team decorates him like a tree, they even attach a star to the top of his hair
Kunimi: Never puts any effort into decorating for Christmas, only got one present for anyone and it was Kindaichi (it wasn’t even a good present - a hat to cover his bad hair)
Nekoma:
Kuroo: Forces the team to learn the mean girls dance
Kai: Just wants to cook the turkey in peace - designated chef
Yaku: Constantly pulling Christmas crackers and party poppers to scare Lev
Kenma: Is on his phone for the entirety of Christmas Day
Yamamoto: Dives into the snow shirtless/in pyjamas
Fukunaga: Walks into practice wearing a massive Christmas jumper, he also has clip-on antlers permanently clipped to his hair during December
Teshiro: Is Kai’s assistant, he’s in charge of the sprouts and napkins
Shibayama: Just wants to help, gets tangled in Christmas lights bcs he’s a bit too short to put them up
Lev: They put a disco ball on his head for the New Years party (it’s tied under his chin with a velcro strap), he also brings some Russian food that his family made to practice
Nekomata: Was found actually being Santa for the local kids, he swore Kenma to secrecy
Fukurodani:
Bokuto: Dresses up as Santa but says HEY HEY HEY instead of HO HO HO - He also decorates but it looks like a festive explosion, just red and green everywhere
Washio: Wears a Santa hat to practice and keeps an entirely straight face the entire time, sends merry christmas texts, very short
Sarukui: Attaches bells to Bokuto’s jacket
Konoha: Is the initiator of many many Christmas game tournaments (I’m talking UNO here)
Komi: Encourages Bokuto, also got into trouble for replacing several parts of display boards with Christmas memes, plays Christmas songs non-stop
Akaashi: Makes sure to get everyone on the team something for Christmas, he also fixes Bokuto’s decorating bcs he KNOWS how to decorate
Onaga: Brings Christmas cookies to practice
Dateko:
Kamasaki: Challenges everyone to a game of Christmas volleyball where they all have to wear costumes
Moniwa: Makes sure that everyone has a cracker and laughs at all the bad jokes, goes to sleep before midnight on New Years
Sasaya: Gives chocolate out to everyone and makes a TON of paperchains
Futakuchi: Mistletoe everywhere to annoy people, tells Moniwa the cracker jokes, gets sent home from practice because his Christmas jumper was too ugly
Aone: Points at people who don’t have enough Christmas spirit and gets dressed up as a snowman for a younger school’s christmas fair - he’s happy bcs the kids there aren’t scared of him
Obara: Always has a roll of sellotape on him to help fix things that have broken
Sakunami: Everyone gets annoyed at him bcs he has a really specific (and boring) list of what he wants and just knows what he’s going to get - rubbish at secret santa
Onagawa: Decides to wear ‘bell bottoms’ after a ton of requests, they are actually bell bottoms, he sewed bells all over them
Fukiage: Gets the team to take a Christmas picture which he puts on a card to each of them
Koganegawa: Still believes in Santa
Shiratorizawa:
Ushijima: Brings in Christmas trees to decorate the gym with, yes they’re real, no they’re not sure where he got them from - gives people fruit and socks for Christmas and wraps gifts with brown paper and string
Tendou: Christmas songs all the time, light up jumpers, Rudolph costumes, REALLY loves Christmas food! Spray dyes half of his hair green, wears tinsel to school
Semi: Can play a ton of Christmas songs, and will, gets everyone a card except Shirabu (he does get Shirabu a card but it’s anonymous)
Reon: The team’s damage control, makes sure that they all get enough sleep the night before New Years, jumps at Christmas crackers
Kawanishi: Makes his own paperchains for the gym and gets everyone cards... other than that he isn’t a big Christmas fan
Yamagata: Helps Goshiki to make cards for the team and arranges some fun games for them to play on New Years Eve
Goshiki: Tries to make cards for the team but gets glue everywhere, comes into school with tinsel stuck to his hair - challenges Ushijima to a paperchain making contest which Ushijima wins by a landslide as Goshiki can’t get glue or sellotape off of his fingers
Washijou: Is a scrooge - he just is but Hinata sends him a Christmas card anyway
Johzenji:
(I just couldn’t be bothered to do the whole team this time)
Terushima: NEW YEARS PARTYYYYY! Calls people so early on Christmas and decorates everything, glitter on everything
Misaki: You think Terushima’s decorating was OTT? It would have been twice as bad if she hadn’t calmed him down
Nohebi:
Suguru (+ Mika): Only decorates with green not red (red is Nekoma), he and Mika go ice skating together
Kuguri: Can’t be bothered to stay up on New Years Eve
Itachiyama:
Sakusa: Disinfects all of the decorations that Komori gets, he also prefers simplistic Christmas wreaths over tinsel and other things
Komori: Attempts to decorate, loves the Christmas season and goes for walks in the snow
Inarizaki:
Kita: Uses traditional decorations and hates plastic trees (one broke while he was holding it and fell on his foot - yes I’m projecting, it happened to me and it hurt) - he makes personalised cards for the whole team and arranges a Christmas dinner
Omimi: Gives cards and that’s it, secretly enjoys the jokes in crackers
Aran: Binges Christmas movies, absolutely loves them and will sing Christmas songs a lot too
Ginjima: Is desperate to make Christmas run smoothly, makes paper stars
The Miya Twins: Osamu makes a lot of food and Atsumu decorates with tinsel - the pair wear matching Christmas jumpers
Suna: Disses everyone’s cooking (mentally) around Christmas and attempts to tone down Atsumu’s vibrant decorations - is the best at hanging things up
Riseki: Listens to Christmas songs a lot and hums to them in school
Akagi: Sometimes he and Atsumu try to do passing drills with a burnt Christmas pudding or a satsuma
Extras:
Ikejiri: Definitely a handmade card sort of person, the only one who doesn’t take off his christmas cracker hat
Takeru (Wakunan): He and his family throw massive Christmas and New Years parties - is the epitome of Christmas Cheer
Hyakuzawa: Is dressed as a Christmas tree 100% - forgets the lyrics to any Christmas song
Hoshiumi: That one person who only gets chocolate for Christmas and then has a massive sugar rush
