There is also a border with Egypt and the Mediterranean Sea. And, lest anyone forget, there is a maze of underground tunnels one recently-freed Israeli hostage calls "Lower Gaza" which presents numerous illegal exit opportunities.
As Ari Zivotofsky observes in the Jerusalem Post, a September 19, 2023, episode of the Palestinian television show Emigration claimed that, "in the past 15 years a quarter of a million young Palestinians left for abroad." In 2022, over 15,000 of them who lived abroad (having apparently escaped the "prison") willingly returned to it to celebrate the feast of Eid al-Adha.
This is not how prisons work.
The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) has been running a series on "Gaza Before October 7" refuting the "concentration camp" and "open-air prison" claims with pictures and videos. The first two episodes follow Palestinian "influencer" Yousef Alhelou as he travels around Gaza, showing off the top spots for tourists, including a gold market. Subsequent episodes include an Al-Jazeera feature of the economic boom in Gaza, Turkish television reports on the markets of Gaza, and various Arab media outlets covering the many sporting events in Gaza.
Hamas propagandists argue that Gazans are denied goods and services they are entitled to because of Israel's "land, water, and sea blockade," but Israel only blocks weapons from entering Gaza. Even after October 7, Israel has continued to supply electricity, food, and medicine.
What the "pro-Palestine" luminaries will never admit is that Israel has been forced into controlling Gaza's ports by the long history of weapons shipped there. In 2001, two vessels, the Calypso and the Santorini, were seized with weapons destined for Palestinian terrorists, and in 2002, a Palestinian ship called the Karine A was seized with 50 tons of Iranian weapons destined for Gaza. Since then, Israel has acted to prevent further shipments of weapons from reaching Gaza by sea. In 2007, after Hamas took over Gaza completely, Israel imposed an inspections regime and began more aggressively searching ships for smuggled weapons. Food and medicine are not prevented from entering Gaza.
Poor access to healthcare is another complaint about life in the Gaza "open-air prison." In April 2023, the Jerusalem-based anti-Israel activist group B'Tselem faulted Israel for preventing Palestinians from leaving Gaza in order to be treated in Israeli hospitals. But Israel treats plenty of Palestinians. Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh sends his entire family to Israel for medical care. In 2013 his 1-year-old granddaughter was treated in an Israeli hospital; in 2014 his daughter was treated at Tel Aviv's Ichilov Hospital and his mother-in-law was treated at Jerusalem's Augusta Victoria Hospital; in 2021 his niece was treated at Ichilov Hospital. Just this month, it was reported that Haniyeh's grandniece was being treated at the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva. But why should any Gazans be treated in Israeli hospitals? There are 36 hospitals in Gaza, many of which are run by foreign nations (Indonesia, Turkey, Jordan, European countries) serving a population of around 2 million.
Of course, hospitals in Gaza are dual-purpose buildings, offering both healthcare and camouflage for the entrances to Hamas's elaborate subterranean infrastructure. An IDF spokesman said that "Hamas systematically built the Indonesian Hospital to disguise its underground terror infrastructure." The Al-Shifa hospital, where IDF soldiers found a stash of rifles, ammunition, and ballistic vests, also sits atop a major tunnel junction. IDF soldiers recently found unopened boxes of medicine for Israeli hostages at the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.
If Gaza is a prison, Hamas is the jailer.

The Three Gables
The lack of posts on this one is a clear demonstration of the clear rejection of the racism running through this story.
I can't say that I'm particularly enthusiastic about doing this one, but I can't pretend this one doesn't exist.
Here we go then:
First published in 1926, the Americans again got this one first.
Boxing for money was heavily regulated to the point of outright bans in much of the United States; illegal fights would frequently end as "no contest" when the police turned up.
The Bull Ring in Birmingham is a major shopping area that goes back to a market established in 1154 under royal approval. The area is named for a ring of iron that bulls were tied to for the purposes of bull-baiting, a 'sport' banned in 1835.
The area was redeveloped in the 1960s into an enclosed shopping centre considered an epitome of Brutalist architecture and which became more unpopular over time. It was replaced in 2003 by a more modern centre, branded "Bullring" that is just as controversial.
Harrow Weald is a suburban area of what is now Greater London. It still contains a large amount of ancient woodland despite major development in the early 1930s, such as Harrow Weald Common.
One highly notable resident of the area was W.S. Gilbert of operetta fame, who lived at a house called Grim's Dyke and died of a heart attack in the lake in 1911 while saving a 17-year-old girl from drowning during a swimming lesson. The lake was mostly drained after that and what is left was filled with algae during my visit to the area early this year - the London Loop footpath goes through the area.
The "Weald Station" is probably, as per Bernard Davies, Harrow & Wealdstone station. This is today the northern terminus of the Bakerloo Line, which reached there in 1917 when services were extended on the newly electrified lines to Watford Junction; London Overground services call there on their way to the latter destination. LNWR and Southern services also are available, while Avanti West Coast and Caledonian Sleeper trains go through without stopping on platforms generally closed unless a train is calling there.
The station was also the site of the worst peacetime rail disaster in British history in 1952 (only the 1915 Quintinshill rail disaster has a higher death toll) - an express train collided with the rear of a local train in fog and then another express train hit the wreckage. 112 people died and 340 were injured. Since the crew of the express train died in the crash, the precise reason why they failed to respond to two signals was impossible to establish. The result of the report was a faster introduction into service of the Automatic Warning System or AWS that gives a driver an in-cab indication of the state of a signal by visual and auditory means.
A two-station branch line to Stanmore Village closed in 1964 as part of the Beeching cuts.
Paregoric is a 4% tincture of opium, then available over the counter without prescription. Its main uses would be for treating diarrhoea, treating teething pains in children and as a cough medicine. It is today a Schedule III controlled substance in the US i.e. prescription only.
Crown Derby refers to Royal Crown Derby, a porcelain company founded c.1750 and still going today; it may be the oldest still active company in that field in England.
Langdale Pike is clearly a pseudonym, referring to a series of peaks in the Lake District.
This is, fortunately, the only time we have the n-word being used in the canon. It was considered a crude term even then.
Pernambuco is a state in NE Brazil, then a centre of sugarcane cultivation, still a major part of its economy. It was historically Portuguese, not Spanish.
Yes, let's stereotype Latina women, shall we, Mr. Doyle? I'm not calling you Sir Arthur in this discussion; you're not acting like a knight.
This whole thing leaves a rather ugly taste and if I could strike a story from the canon, I would do it for this one.

Night Raven College Majors and general hc pt. 1/??
Aka Night Raven College college
These are largely based on my experience, don’t take them too seriously lmao
Also these are very rough, but let me know if anyone wants to see more ideas (I may do a post of like embarrassing college moments that have happened to me as twst characters lol)
Vil
I bet you think I’m gonna be boring and say like acting or theatre…WRONG
Marketing major with a minor in cosmetic sciences (he does take theatre electives though)
He’s a nepotism baby with a solid career and high understanding of acting methods and techniques, it wouldn’t add anything to his repertoire if he just had an extra piece of paper
He went marketing to help him better share himself and his collaborations
He has a small cosmetics company and wanted the minor to have a deeper understanding of the craft
He still does like maybe 1 small theatre production at the college for the experience
He’s despised by a certain sector of the theatre majors and there is a theory that he buys his way into productions
He’s also been in a few short films for his fellow students
Everyone is surprised that he as an RA (cause like he absolutely doesn’t need the free housing and meal plan) but he just says he likes looking out for freshman and wanted the normal college experience
Ace
He’s a freshman and he’s gone through 3 majors already
He started off in sports medicine but didn’t like it, he then moved to civil engineering (solely for the idea of the salary) and dropped after attending one class, then he joined justice studies to be with his friend Deuce and didn’t like that
He is now undeclared and is getting all his gen eds done so he can find something he actually liked
He was this close 🤏 to just making his major psychology cause that’s what he heard people don’t know what to do do, but then met one (willing) psychology major and decided that he had a will to live and dropped it
He plays intramural basketball and is actually pretty good
He hates his RA (Riddle) and has ignored ever rule put into place, has never attended a floor meeting, and has a ban from the floor group chat because he was sending too many elaborate memes and accidentally started a debate on the morality of the seven
He absolutely did not want to be in the heartslabyul dorms but procrastinated picking a room and ended up in them.
He’ll tell you he lucked out with his roommate though.
He’s generally well-liked though, the chat notifications just make people annoyed
There have definitely been at least 3 noise complaints about him sent to housing
He wanted to join a frat and got rejected. He’s sooo not bitter about it and they totallyyyy aren’t missing out on his epic personality.
Cater
Uses social media buzz words too much
Like tooooo much, still says slay
Mass Media major
He has an alter ego on like yik yak that is fairly well known for some reason
Super nice but is the friend you worry about because there are at least 10 empty latte cups on his floor
1 of 3 Heartslabyul RAs
I imagine he runs like one of those tik tok accounts that like post random people on campus and give them a background story
Leona
No one knows how or why he become an RA of Savanaclaw (it’s a common belief his CEO brother pushed him into doing it) but he does a really nice job of it
5th year senior because his brother wanted him to be a business major but Leona threatened to drop out if they didn’t let him switch so now his family is just happy he is there
He’s a kinesiology and honestly doesn’t know what he wants to do
He’s the type that makes sure nothing horrible goes down, but let’s you have your freedom
Like don’t die and don’t interrupt his sleep schedule and you’re golden
Gets straight As without trying
Riddle
The most despised RA, he’s seriously hated
The type to get you in trouble for having a shot glass (nothing in it, you could literally have it to hold rings and he’d report you)
He’s good at heart though, he’s just over committed to his job since it’s his first year being an RA
He’s pushy but he believes he’s doing it to help the underclassmen reach their full potential
Premed major, he’ll tell his close friends that his mom pressured him into it but he actually found out he really likes it
Much like Cater he’s running on coffee, but his room is just cleaner so you can’t tell
The type of student to make you quiver in your boots
Like he’s the poster boy that you see on the college brochures. Internships, honors classes, club leadership, volunteering, and anything else you can think of.
Floyd
He has a habit of terrorizing Freshman
He’s also become an urban legend of sorts on campus, there’s like weird Magicam accounts dedicated to Floyd sightings but no one knows who runs them
Like Ace, his major it undeclared (he gets too easily bored)
More than likely he’ll stay extra time until somehow he randomly completes a degree and can get the hell out
He’s not an RA but decided to stay in the dorms because he thought it would be too boring to live somewhere without Jade and Azul

Emerging Technologies in Cruciate Ligament Repair Procedure Market: Opportunities and Challenges
According to a new report by UnivDatos Market Insights, the Cruciate Ligament Repair Procedures Market is expected to reach USD 10.8 Billion in 2030 by growing at a CAGR of 8.5%. Cruciate ligament repair procedures are being used in healthcare organizations to restore injured cruciate muscles. Cruciate ligament repair procedures have a major application in treating injured knee ligaments with minimally invasive surgery that uses small incisions. Several factors are responsible for leading this market, prominently the increase in the geriatric population, initiatives for research and development activities, promising product pipeline and technological advancements, and increased incidences of anterior cruciate ligament are driving the growth of the market during the forecast period. The rising prevalence of knee injuries globally represents one of the key factors driving the market. For instance, in 2022, as per the report by the National Safety Council (NSC), sports and recreational injuries in the U.S. increased by 20% in 2021 and increased another 12% in 2022 while a record-low number of sports and recreational injuries were reported in 2020.
Request To Download Sample of This Strategic Report - https://univdatos.com/get-a-free-sample-form-php/?product_id=47754&utm_source=LinkSJ&utm_medium=Snehal&utm_campaign=Snehal&utm_id=snehal
The report suggests that the Rise in Demand for Cruciate Ligament Repair Procedures is one of the major factors driving the growth of cruciate ligament repair procedures in the market. The anterior cruciate ligament (PCL) repair segment is expected to grow with a high CAGR during the forecast period owing to rising incidents of road accidents and rising sports injuries. ACL injuries are relatively more common compared to all other knee injuries. The recent trends of increased sports activities and a surge in road traffic accidents are propelling this segment. For instance, according to the epidemiological profile study of anterior cruciate ligament injuries in a tertiary referral trauma center in Nepal published by the National Library of Medicine in June 2021, road traffic accidents were the most common cause of ACL injury (38.8%), followed by sports-related injuries in 33.3% and falls in 16.5% of patients. Also, in May 2022, according to the National Library of Medicine anterior cruciate ligament injuries (ACL) were the most commonly injured ligament in the knee area. The incidence of ACL is nearly 1 in 3,500 people annually in the U.S. Cruciate ligament repair procedures are safe to use and provide a better quality of life to patients with assistance of minimally invasive surgery.
Apart from this, growing investment by governments in spreading awareness about untreated cruciate ligament repair will also have a positive impact on the cruciate ligament repair procedures market growth during the forecast period. Another prevalence seen in the cruciate ligament repair procedures market is collaborations between pharmaceutical organizations to promote the production of innovative treatment therapies. For instance, a UK-based medical equipment manufacturing company, Smith+Nephew, launched the UltraTRAC QUAD ACL Reconstruction Technique in March 2023. This technique consists of a first integrated guide for minimally invasive quadriceps graft harvesting called QuadTrac Quadriceps Tendon Harvest Guide System which provides direct tendon visualization while enabling a controlled and reproducible technique to harvest.
Anterior Cruciate Ligament Repair Procedures Leading the Pharmaceutical Industry
Anterior cruciate ligament repair procedure involves ligament reconstruction, where the damaged ACL is replaced by either an autograft extracted from the person's own body or an allograft under arthroscopic control. Here are some key points to understand why cruciate ligament repair procedures are gaining momentum in the pharmaceutical market:
Effective Minimally Invasive Procedures: Several minimally invasive procedures are being used in the healthcare sector where autograft or allograft is extracted from a patient’s own body or human cadaver using a combination of fiber optics, small incisions, and small instruments.
Patient Survival and Quality of Life: Because they are often more precisely directed at patient care, cruciate ligament repair procedures may offer improved survival rates and better quality of life for patients.

Conclusion
The global cruciate ligament repair procedures market is a rapidly growing field, with advancements in health care and treatments leading to improved outcomes for patients. Cruciate ligament repair procedures are a kind of minimally invasive procedure that is most frequently used in healthcare facilities. The global cruciate ligament repair procedures market is expected to continue to grow in the coming years with advancements in medical technology and surgical techniques continuously being improvised to improve patient results. As a result, there is a growing demand for cruciate ligament repair procedures all over the world. Overall, the global cruciate ligament repair procedures market represents a significant opportunity for companies and professionals in the field of pharmaceuticals. With continued research and development, it is likely that even more effective and safer options for latex gloves will become available in the future, leading to improved treatment methods for patients and healthcare professionals.
