the pristine cut update to slay the princess is pretty cool

(i talk about my au below but there will be spoilers for the game)

OH MY GOD IM GOING TO END MYSELF ITS SO GOOD. i guess i'll start one by one about the game routes and what that brings for the spooky month ladies

i couldn't decide with one specific route so i decided to make alternative endings for them! no need to choose between endings. makes life easier. case in point: lila, pump's mum and patty, as they can split into other endings in the third chapter.

lila

lila gets her good ending as a human being instead of a ghost who cheered

pump's mum

i'm not including most things from this route in the au as the game goes dark here (but it's a beautiful dark, watch a playthrough when you can!)

i did notice a theme of "i'm not happy here" and "the world moves on, and i'm still here" and i think i will be using that the most here to reflect of them working so far from home and being unable to leave to see their kids.

so in my au, this route will be reworked by me until we get some canon material about pump's dad's feelings about work

actress

soft vore vs hardcore cannibalism (?) as a metaphor for devotion. amazing.

patty

oh yeah, patty is one of the princesses now, with john as her skeptic foil!

she actually fits more with the drowned grey route than the cage as she wears a funeral dress and all. however, i like the cage's design more with the head separated from the body lol

then i figured... john is smart, logical and questions the strange, which makes him a good fit to be the skeptic.

carmen

the game updates this route pleasantly. not a lot, but it's completes the route more!

in the apotheosis route, you can try to run or attack but either ending is the same. now, you can successfully attack her!

though, fun fact: all the princesses don't really react to pain. however, the tower/apotheosis both scream; that's so fun to me as they view themselves as godlike and resistant to wound.

radford/contarian in this route is also funny to me because imagine standing against a blinding god with unimaginable power and going "we can beat her lmao"

uhhhh nothing much for jaune update-wise, but i felt bad if i didn't include her so...! she's here :]

Some of my family headcanons/Aus

Most of them wouldn't make sense in canon lol, these are just fun to make.

Lila and Jack as siblings

This is a more common one. The idea of Jack being Skid's uncle and taking care of him from time to time is adorable, I also like the idea of Lila and Jack growing up together with Lila acting as a protective sister. (in my head Lila is the older sibling)

Dexter and Streber as siblings

This one occurred to me when I found out that Streber's favorite animal was rats, Dexter has a bad habit of killing his family pets. Also, Streber and Michelle grieving the loss of Dexter together.

Ignacio adopting Pump (+ Susie)

I blame @eatyourmaker for this one.

At first it seemed a little out of character for Ignacio, but then I thought of different ways it could work (and that most aus are for shits and gigles)

Pump has a chaotic energy that no one can control. Ignacio is the hitman of the cult and local arsonist, his house is literally built so that no one can enter or see what happens inside.

If you think about it, Ignacio would be one of the few people capable of controlling Pump's chaos because he also has his own uncontrollable violent energy.

Roy, Patty, Rick and Actress related in some way

Weird, I know lmao.

Most times when I do family headcanons/Aus I try to relate characters that have some physical resemblance, plus, these four seemed like they could have a fun dynamic.

I'm not sure if I like it better with Patty, Rick and Actress as Roy's uncles (it would make more sense if you're looking for something that might fit better with the canon) or the four of them as siblings (I find it hard to believe that Roy is an only child, and Roy would be the best example of an annoying little brother)

Bob as Lila's father

It just has so many possibilities.

From fluffy ones like Lila and Bob celebrating Halloween as a family when Lila was a child to the more angsty ones like Lila discovering all the atrocities her father did.

Fat Thief and Lucky related in some way

It's just cute, nothing more

Thin Thief, Kevin and Captain as brothers

It's just really fucking funny

Marco Garcia and his cousin Antonia (Or as yall know her as Actress!!) (also i hc her as transfem!) (Antonia is Camilas sister daughter!) (camila is marcos mom)

Marco is very hush hush about Antonia since he hates the amount of people going nuts for a autograph or asks personal shit about her. They were very close since they lived close together and were somewhat best friends but Antonia moved out to go to some fancy acting school and marco and her sorta didn't talk for a long time till a few years after marco moved into the town and delivered something to her- Their relationship now is somewhat awkward since marco is always on edge hanging out with Antonia and shes very like..open about being a actress so its just hard for marco because he doesnt like the attention meanwhile antonia is used to the attention-

I know Actress(Clear) is kinda already based on another movie but I wanted to turn her into a reference to Final Destination(Clear is the name of one of the characters, Destino means Destination, and the accident mentioned). Idk if Actor(Norris) is based on anything relating to a horror movie already but here hes referencing The Thing(Norris is the name of one of the characters that was a thing, Ding is meant to translate to Thing in German, and the "hates cold" part). Wanted to explain so it isn't confusing lmao.
