One thing I will say I actually enjoyed abt season 15 was how much they focused on Dean and Cas's relationship, like i feel like you can see it reaching a bubbling point at the end where it almost feels like if Cas HADNT confessed his love in the dungeon then one of them would have done it soon. Like you're gonna tell me that Dean wasnt on the verge of saying it in purgatory?

You can see him fighting back the words bro. 😭 it was crazy to watch this romance on screen and see them coming to terms with the fact that they feel this way about eachother throughout the whole show but i think in season fifteen we also get to see them slowly letting themselves want more, its hardwired into both of their brains that wanting anything is inheriently selfish and i kinda feel like they break through that at the end and feel like they are allowed to want, they are allowed to be in love and they are allowed to have that you know what i mean?

so we all know that dean is touch starved. he always wants to be touched so badly. but another thing that i think is true is that cas wants to touch dean SO BADLY. he aches with it. but he knows it's not allowed because dean said "cas, we've talked about this. personal space?" so cas doesn't touch him, except for the occasional hand on the shoulder or arm. every once in a while, dean will need to be healed and cas will guiltily revel in the excuse to touch and sometimes even caress his face. even worse are the few times where they fight. cas has him pinned to the wall in a filthy alleyway and his entire being is lit up with the feeling of deans face, his chest, his shoulders. but cas thinks those are the only times it's allowed. so dean's just aching to be touched and cas is dying to touch him but neither of them thinks they're allowed to have what they want

You know, as a (kind of) new fan, I barely know shit about the full spn experience of watching shit unfold in real time—which obviously took years. When I was scrolling through Nov 5th tag, destielgate and all that, I found a fairly huge amount of people shitting on Andrew Dabb, especially for writing the finale. And I got curious about this infamous writer guy, like what else did he write?

Then I went to Google and saw that he wrote What’s Up Tiger Mommy. Then Hunteri Heroici. Clip Show. Road Trip. Bloodlines??? Stairway to Heaven?????? The Things We Left Behind????????

Like obviously, none of these episodes are perfect. But these includes HUGE destiel scenes—like pivotal moments that greatly affects the relationship and it’s development and how the audience view it. And so much of these are obviously, blatantly romantic. As explicit as it can be. Like the direct canon couple parallels? At least THREE times? You’re telling me this man is responsible for The Lovers Quarrel ft. Suffering Sam in season 8? “I’ll watch over you”? The Dean/Cas - David/Violet parallel???? Cas’ deleted personal heaven???? “Don’t lose it over one man”????? Cas giving up his Angel army for one guy?????? The Dinner Date?????? The Sam/Jess - Dean/Cas - Claire/Kaia parallel??????? The climax of Cain/Colette - Dean/Cas Mark of Cain plot line??????? “You know, I always thought I could be a good dancer if I wanted to be”???????? The PURGATORY REUNION?????????? The start of THE FUCKING WIDOWER ARC?????????????

The Fucking. Widower. Arc. The stark contrast between that and Cas being barely mentioned in 15x19 and 15x20???????? Listen—and I’m just spitballing here—but what if this guy isn’t the fucking problem. You cannot convince me that someone who wrote all that, who contributed to all that, does not fucking see it…
