I spent the ENTIRE DAY working on this sketch i did before sleep last night and i have to post it before the full batch.

Yeah. Anyway this was based on a recent Adv'99 25th Anniversary collab. You know, they one the kids are just covered in paint and holding brushes and ink? Yup. This one.

But it's a big coincidence this was made and posted on the same day Splatoon 1 servers are closing. And if you don't know, i also love Splatoon (despite not being able to play any of the 3 games so far) and yeah... Maybe this could be my own way to thank this game for existing (i love the style and the music!! Oh, i love Off the Hook a ton!!)

And yes, ponytail Rui-kun is back.

First of all, Happy 3rd Anniversary to Splatoon 2! This was my first game on Switch and the reason I got a Switch in the first place lol.

I'm so excited to finally be sharing this collab I did with the amazing @//_n0cnoc_ on Instagram. We didn't plan for it to be for the anniversary but since I finished it near the date, might as well xD. They did the gorgeous lineart and I did the coloring and background! I personally love how they designed Link and Ganondorf's outfits to fit the Splatoon style! Please go check out their other stuff as this collab wouldn't be possible without them! 🥺💕
