Splatcember - Heavy Splatling
[Submitted by: @whatpumpkim ! ]
Round 1: Loss (Camped) - (2/3) [Overall/Enemy Splatter????] Round 2: Win! - (4/4) [All Silver Medals] Round 3: Loss (D/C at the end) - (6/2) [Overall/Turf Inker] Round 4: Loss - (2/3) [#1 Turf Inker] Round 5: Loss (Just barely) - (5/3) [Enemy Splatter] Round 6: Loss (Just barely) - (3/3) [Overall/Enemy Base Inker] Round 7: Win! - (6/3) [Enemy Splatter/Super Jump Spot] Round 8: Loss (Camped) - (3/3) [Home Base Inker] Round 9: Win! (Was Carried) - (3/4) [Splat Assister/Super Jump Spot] Round 10: - Win! (Did Well) - (9/0) [Popular Target]
Win/Loss Ratio: 4 Wins / 6 Losses Would I main this weapon?: Not this one, but with another kit, it would be a big maybe. Leaning on no! Full thoughts below:
As someone who is more used to the Nautilus, the charge of this weapon throws me off a bit! I end up not fully charging and just barely missing splats on people which does end up getting me in trouble. Despite my struggles, I seemed to generally do Top 2 on my teams, as several frontline teammates got 0 splats so we got pressured hard.
Aim is tricky as well, I get a little frantic when under pressure so instead of leading my shots, I kind of swung them left and right, which also got me splatted a few times.
SPRINKLER...does nothing for me /dies At best it was fine on high walls and smaller corners, but other than that it just did not benefit me in a major way -- Advice I would give: -Make sure you have an escape route wherever you're planted! Ink around so you can back off if needed! -Move with at least one member of your team! Help them by inking ahead or pressuring opponents back so they can move. -Utilize corners/walls for cover! Have a full charge and pick your target before coming out to fire. -Run Speed is probably a must, especially for these slower Splatlings. Quick Super Jump is also recommended to escape dicey situations!

Splatcember: Explosher
[Suggested by @kostecko27 !]
Round 1: Loss - (3/2) [#1 Splat Assister] Round 2: Loss - (3/1) [All Golds] Round 3: Win! (Just Barely) - (7/1) [Overall Splatter] Round 4: Win! - (3/2) [All Golds] Round 5: Loss (Just Barely) - (5/3) [#1 DAMAGE TAKER YEET] Round 6: Loss - (4/2) [#1 DAMAGE TAKER: THE SEQUEL ] Round 7: Loss - (6/1) [Overall/Enemy Splatter] Round 8: Loss - (2/0) [#1 Turf Inker] Round 9: Loss (Camped) - (3/5) [All Golds / Turf/Home/Enemy Base Inker] Round 10: Loss (Camped) - (4/4) [#1 Splat Assister/Jump Spot]
Win/Loss Ratio: 2/8 Would I Main This Weapon?: NOT AFTER THAT MESS LMAO
Full Thoughts Below:
You know how the testing ground says Explosher is a 2 shot weapon? Yeah no, it's GUARANTEED 3-5 hits, even if your aim is good, due to the connection of this game, so plan for that very carefully
Your very existence is similar to a charger, in which newer players will be afraid to approach, but experienced players will target you RELENTLESSLY. It doesn't matter how good you're doing, YOU are the threat and they will stop at nothing to take you down
So be ready for a lot of pressure when using this weapon! You can control who gets close enough and how well your teammates move if you're on point, but mess up even once and it can be hard to come back from it.
Probably a weapon best played with friends! Random teammates let me down a LOT this run.
Advice I Would Give:
-Ink management is a MUST. Not only your own ink tank, but the turf around you! You have to control who can get close enough to attack, but also you can't run out of ink at the wrong time or you'll easily be taken down.
-Don't sleep on point sensors! If you can't win an engagement, then track 'em! It not only makes them nervous to come in (mostly), but your teammates can help you when they see them! (Granted they DO help you...)
-Quick Super Jump is a good idea for quick getaways, as you often don't have a lot of room to move with the slow inking. -Don't forget to ink (climbable) walls with this weapon, especially on maps like Flounder Heights! One good slap of ink is all it takes to give your team some climbin' room!

Splatcember: Aerospray RG
[Suggested by @ladydraconian9 !]
Round 1: Win! - (7/5) [#1 Turf Inker / First Splat] Round 2: Win! - (6/2) [All Silver Medals] Round 3: Win! (Danger!) - 10/3 [All Gold Medals] Round 4: Win! (Just Barely) - (5/1) [All Gold Medals] Round 5: Loss (Just Barely) - (1/4) [All Gold Medals??] Round 6: Loss - (3/4) [#1 DAMAGE TAKER LETS GOOOO] Round 7: Win! (Danger!) - (8/0) [All Gold Medals] Round 8: Win! (Danger!) - (5/2) [All Gold Medals/Overall Splatter] Round 9: Win! - (4/2) [All Gold Medals] Round 10: Lose (Camped) - (1/6) [#1 Turf Inker]
Win/Loss Ratio: 7/3 Would I Main This Weapon?: Not MAIN, but it is fun to goof around in Turf War with, so would use!
Full Thoughts Below:
LET'S BE REAL... Vast majority of people know what this weapon is for, and that's spammin' Booyah Bombs and Turf Coverage /dies
BUT DON'T ENTIRELY SLEEP ON THIS WEAPON...While it is doomed to lose a lot of engagements to most experienced opponents, it has pretty notable value if you know how to move, pick your moments right, and of course aim!
I managed to wiggle around a lot, and if I couldn't get kills, I could be a distraction that ran around making the enemy team mad so my team could push in together!
If I had to summarize it: It's The Fun Weapon For Turf War!
--
Advice I would give:
-Your Sprinklers can be valuable to this weapon! Throw one past the enemies to charge your special faster, and also to be a distraction to force them to turn around and take it out. Preferably behind them! (I got 2 Sprinkler Splats this way LMAO)
-Do not rely on this weapon to slay too much! Its strengths actually come with the Turf Coverage! Keep your teammates well inked for retreats, and even use your speedy movements to run around the enemy base a little if you trust yourself to do so!
-Booyah Bombs are most effective when you aim for where they're going, not where they are! Throw it behind people as instinctively they run backwards to avoid you. Also, sometimes just holding it for a while puts them on edge! They watch to see where you throw it, your team can sneak in and flank as they do!
-If you feed a lot, stack Quick Respawns /dies Other than that, use what you want! Special Charge/Saver, Special Power Up, Ink Recovery, have fun!

Splatcember - Weapon Experiments!
I thought I'd do something fun this month!
Tell me your main weapon in the replies below! 👀 The specific kit you tend to use (if multiple are in the game)
I'll use it for 10 rounds of Turf War, give the win/loss results of each battle, and maybe give some thoughts on using it!
I'll even tag you in the post if you'd like as a shoutout! (Or if you'd prefer me not to, just say "No tag" in the comment!)
If you're shy, you're also free to send an ask to my Ask Box, and I'll be sure to crop out your name when I post!
