Lol to me it looks like basically a cabinet on the side of the kitchen tht got like a marble countertop which Too Me In Comparison to a fully stocked basement bar w like lights n spiggots n shit is humble..the fun thing abt adjectives is tht they are in the eye of the beholder. In my eyes i was comparing the two images. Heres some pictures from a basement of an estate sale that weirdly enough didnt have basement bar but had like ... the decor. ✌️

Edit: ok yeah i opened up the image and yeah it is extra but also i think we've proved that i dont look at images too closely on tumblr.edu bc i missed that the second was a full on basement bar. Calling it humble is a bit of a stretch now that i see that it's more than a cabinet but again getting mad abt an off the hip description of sth i didn't look at that closely? Anyhow have a cat

Tubbo: basically, I think- I think the server is the reason why it didn’t work. Because normally: when pistons move blocks you can’t mine them. But I think the server’s running Spiggot which makes it so you can. So it didn’t work. This is sad. The idea is you’re not meant to be able to escape. You empty your inventory, and you get in, and you’re stuck there.

Fundy: forever?

Tubbo: forever.

(Beat of silence)

Fundy: why would you make this. why would you [tubbo starts laughing] ever put- why would you ever make this? Why would you put something so bad upon a person?

Tubbo: I thought it’d be funny. And to be fair, it was pretty funny! It was worth it.

Fundy: you’re chaotic evil.

The Lathe of Heaven, the Bacchae, Bedazzled, and any good Faust adaptation all belong to a genre I LOVE called, “regular guy thinks he’s in charge of a being with extraordinary power! this can’t end well for him.” Lathe is different in that George Orr doesn’t have enough mischief or initiative to be Dionysus or George Spiggot or Mephistopheles, and doesn’t LIKE having world-altering power because he knows he has no right to alter the world. Also he’s the protagonist.
