These Chipotle Chicken and Andouille Sausage Sliders are a perfect blend of spicy and savory flavors. The combination of ground chicken and Andouille sausage, along with chipotle and spices, creates a deliciously unique burger experience. Top it with creamy avocado, cheese, and fresh vegetables for an unforgettable slider.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground chicken. 1/2 lb Andouille sausage, removed from casings. 1/4 cup finely chopped onion. 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, minced. 1 tsp ground cumin. 1 tsp smoked paprika. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. Slider buns. Sliced pepper jack cheese. Sliced avocado. Lettuce leaves. Mayonnaise. Sliced tomatoes.
Instructions: Put chopped onion, red bell pepper, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, minced chipotle pepper, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl. Mix the ingredients together. Mix the ingredients together until they are well mixed. Make small patties about the size of sliders out of the mixture. Warm up a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and lightly grease it. They should be cooked all the way through and have nice grill marks after about 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Add a slice of pepper jack cheese to each patty to melt in the last minute of grilling. Start making the sliders while you toast the buns on the grill until they are golden and a little crispy. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun of each slider, then add a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, a slider patty with melted cheese, and avocado slices. Add the other half of the bun on top, and if you need to, use a toothpick to hold it in place. Warm up your Chipotle Chicken and Andouille Sausage Sliders before you eat them.
