Alrightyyy other people have spoken about this before but I'd like to speak about it as well. Buckle up everybody there's some religion talk coming up.

Spinch is meant to be a more "perfect", less bigoted version of Earth. That much is obvious, Kc has stated it kitself. (If anyone is wondering why I always say Kc and SCH in most posts it's because otherwise they will show up in the sparklec*re tag and I will get attacked)

There's already bits that are red flags to me. Virtuism being the main and only religion in a world that's supposed to be "perfect" is. . .weird. It's really weird. As others have stated Virtuism is obviously a parody of Christianity, especially whenever you look at Tears. She's a sheep (an animal popular in religious, but usually Christian, imagery), she has a halo and wings (again, very common aspects of angels in christian imagery) and she apparently cries because of all the bad things anthries do, aka sins. She's woman furry Jesus

Which would be fine! If Virtuism wasn't the only religion on Spinch other than atheism. Which is super weird by the way, because scientists who don't believe in Emem or Tears are always painted in the "wrong" light, similar to how Christians refuse to acknowledge anyone who goes against their beliefs in a lot of cases. Anyone on Spinch who doesn't believe in gods or magic are shown to be "prudish" or "stubborn".

There's no mention of religious trauma on Spinch because as always, Everyone Is Good Except For Cuddles. And obviously Virtuists can do no wrong because they believe in the magical sheep in the sky. Which is a bit odd as well considering forms of ableism can stem from religious trauma.

It just feels weird as hell. Why would you make the only religion in a so called "perfect" world Christianity? There's no parody of anyone other religion, the only different gods that people believe in are in darker matters and THOSE gods are just parodies of the previous gods! As far as I know Kc has never mentioned any other religions and it's just weird. You don't even have to design more gods all you have to do is say that not everyone believes in the same exact thing.

So I deactivated but I’m actually really really annoyed by this and I need to talk before I explode.

Kneeby just made another post about “sparklecrit culture”. How it feels bad that when she types in “sparklec” the crit tags come up.

First issue: why aren’t you blocking the fucking tags?!? Bun seems to be unaware that bun is responsible for curating their own online experience. Does kit not know how to block tags? I call bullshit; kits been on that blog since at least 2018. Block tags. Block users! At some point, the blame at least partially falls upon you for not taking charge. Block. The fucking. Tags.

Second issue: The reason there are so many crit blogs in the first place is because her fandom (and by extension kneeby herself) are so utterly in-fucking-capable of taking any sort of pushback. If she didn’t whine and moan every single time somebody said “hey I don’t like this—“ then at least a good quarter of these blogs wouldn’t be here. I know I wouldn’t have been. But that fandom is a fucking cesspit. Jumping into a nuclear reactor would be less toxic. These are the same people that will call many people, oftentimes kids, slurs and send them death threats and be absolutely despicable towards those expressing distaste and then turn around and claim to be advocates. You can’t be a mental health advocate after trying to trigger someone’s ED, sparklecunts. You know who you are.

Third issue: Bun can’t control other people. Why even bother getting so worked up over it? Maybe my experiences in the 2016 Undertale fandom have hardened me, but bad (“”””bad””””) people are everywhere. Just block and mute and such and move the fuck on.

I'm the guy who made the "something has to change" post (i'm NOT telling you who i am ever again!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA).

The fandom treating us like villains wasn't my point. True, but not my point. My point is that Kneeby's not going to change. Not unless something ELSE changes first. Again, not sure what, but I just hope it's not going to be anything extreme.

I don't think the solution is spamming criticism blogs until we all fucking die. I'm not saying "OH YOU CAN'T CRITICIZE HER" I'm saying nobody who's listening can really make a difference. The tags associated with the blogs are already blocked, and reflexes exist to click off before you can actually make out a word.

If someone or something will change anything, the stubborn bitches of the ZCP should probably actually feel like hearing about it first. I don't know if it's going to be a 100% direct, toe-to-toe final epic confrontation or some other completely different thing, but in any case I don't think any of us will to stand for this shit any longer.

OHH that's what you meant. Then still, yeah.

It's disappointing that Kc refuses to listen to any constructive criticism on the comic. Even when it comes from people who are physically disabled talking about their own disabilities being represented better, Kc is allowed to throw a fit about it on the main blogs. And nobody even finds anything wrong with that.

Honestly I don't think kc even has the tags blocked because apparently when she types "sparklec" the Sparklecrit tags show up. Could be a lie but that's what buns said. Though at this point I feel like if the tags aren't blocked, that is definitely on Kc for not blocking them because they've existed for a while now.

I personally know my blog isn't going to change anything. The grown 23 year old adult isn't going to listen to a random fan and a couple of his anons considering squeak has already had meltdowns about this before coming from people who are younger than I am myself. The only reason my blog would change anything is if a ZCP member actually sees it and agrees, and even then I wouldn't be surprised if they don't bring it up with Kc considering just how sensitive kit seems to be to any form of criticism.

My blogs purpose is moreso to be a safe space for fans to express their REAL feelings on the comic. Not just the stuff that the majority of the fandom wants to hear. I hope deep down that things will change for the better, but considering the meltdowns and the arguments I know that that's probably something that won't happen.
