Does anyone else think Cartman has some kind of power to make his hallucinations real?

Mitch Conner in The Fractured But Whole seemed to actually possess Kyle’s hand, and in the recent episode Cupid Ye was shown shooting kids with his nazi love arrows while Cartman was trying to stop him. Mr. Mackey said he saw a bee flying around the school, so that could either mean it was a literal bee or Mackey just saw Cupid Ye that way because it was an easy explanation for the hysteria.

Omg. Wouldn’t it be cool if this facet of Cartman is tied to Imaginationland in some way? Since Cartman’s Christmas critters became real in Imaginationland?

…Come to think of it, what about Kyle and Mr. Hankey? Maybe characters from Imaginationland often leak into the town of South Park and become “real.”

I’m just saying, imaginationland blew up and everything only came back because of Butter’s imagination powers. So here’s a doodle comic about it.

I also imagine that since they come from Butter’s imagination, they aren’t perfect replicas. They are what Butter’s remembers of them which also affects what they remember. So while Kenny doesn’t necessarily realize they’re different from his friends, he does notice their personalities are a little off and there are inconsistencies in their memories.

kyle LOVES cartman's determined attitude

what i rlly liked abt the end of obesity special was it showed once again how all of the shit kyle acts like he hates about cartman is what he actually loves, as i've talked about before 483836738 times. kyle actually loves cartman's unapologeticness and sass even though he shits on him A LOT for it, evidenced by the the fact that he gets all annoyed when cartman starts suddenly acting good LOL (i.e stunning & brave, all of season 20, and post covid). but mainly what he loves about cartman is his DETERMINATION. as i've talked about before, that's one of the main things C&K have in common is they're both EXTREMELY stubborn and passionate and never give up when they set their mind to something (and i analyzed this in their MBTI types bc they're both Js) even if they're both fighting for completely opposite things and this special RLLY emphasized how much kyle shares that trait in common with cartman when the insurance guy is like "i didn't realize i was dealing with someone who had so much determination" LOL. i remember i talked abt in a rant once a longass time ago how that's the main thing cartman loves about kyle and i used the moment in imaginationland where cartman is like "KAHL YOU'VE NEVER WALKED AWAY FROM ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE!1!1!" as evidence, but i've never rlly talked much about how much kyle appreciates that trait in cartman too. this special rlly showed how kyle LOVES cartman's tough boisterous obnoxious attitude and he appreciates his persistence in getting pretty much anything he wants. that's why kyle was DISAPPOINTED to see cartman so upset and easily giving up when he couldn't get the weight loss drug. he doesn't understand how cartman is tough and has willpower with literally everything EXCEPT his health (and other things that are good for him such as his school grades, i mean according to kyle bc i don't give a shit about grades either) LOL. that pep talk kyle gave cartman about being tough rlly helped cartman and got through to him bc fighting for the shit he wants is his whole thing and kyle was reminding him who the fuck he is. (yeah heidi could never lol). the fact that kyle even thought of that as something good to give cartman advice on, shows it's something he's observed and even ADMIRED about him over the years. so that's how we know in all of those moments when kyle would shit on cartman for being bad, breaking the rules, and always needing to get his way that he was just full of shit and lying bc he likes it LOL. like i remember back in "scott tenorman must die" how kyle kept telling cartman to let it go and drop it when he saw how cartman wasn't giving up and kept trying over and over to get his $10 back from scott, but the fact that kyle was even observing how much cartman wouldn't give up, shows how much this trait about cartman rlly stood out to him and INTRIGUED him. and the main reason why cartman's tenacity interested kyle so much and he was going out of his way to shit on him for it is bc kyle knows damn well he can be like that too, so either he was shitting on cartman for being overly tenacious bc he's insecure that he has that quality in himself, or he just secretly admires the trait in cartman and doesn't know how to process it (it's probably both) LOL. i'm sure kyle liked how there was finally someone else in south park, let alone in his friend group, that's as persistent as him and can match his energy bc he's tired of being the only one in town who's extremely extra lol. this DEF goes hand in hand with that rant i did a while back about how the reason why kyle hates seeing cartman sad and it hits him way harder than when he sees stan sad is bc he's used to seeing cartman's tough over-the-top extroverted personality and LOVES that about him even though he won't admit it, and this special just further proves my point. so thank you once again matt & trey for proving me right for the 47383573838 time.

He absolutely could make the decision to stay with her forever in Imaginationland. The way I interpret Kenny though, I think he's too selfless to make that decision and would eventually choose to go back home because he knows his friends and family need him. He especially wouldn't want Karen to be without her guardian angel.

Depends on the point in the series. He was enthusiastic about the prospect of never returning home in Quintuplets for example. But by Major Boobage he may have grown too attached to town to leave it forever; then by The Poor Kid he definitely would rather stay in South Park. (Dying annually instead of daily probably had something to do with that. His house actually felt like home and not just somewhere he temporarily goes inbetween stabbings).

I think if Kenny ever used Imaginationland to meet Major again he'd try to run away with her and go missing for a while. Then the main 5 would try to get him back, which leads to them finding Kenny and Major living it up in Imaginationland complete with monster trucks, mountains of money, a huge table of neverending fried chicken, etc. Kyle does a speech about how everyone misses him. Kenny has a change of heart.

At the exact same time Imaginationland starts to become corrupted- some B plot collided with them and Elon Musk is using Imaginationland to take over the world or whatever- and the six of them get into one of the monster trucks and they race out of there with Major driving the vehicle. It's absolute chaos as they try to escape. It ends with the main 5 narrowly making it to safety and Major sacrificing herself to save them, destroying Imaginationland in the process.

Kenny looks mournfully into the wreckage and sees the angel of Major flying on a holy version of the flying creature from her debut episode. They wordlessly lock eyes one last time before she makes her ascention into the afterlife. Stan says "So I guess you'll see her again in heaven". Kenny sighs and replies "Yeah. But for now I'm staying right here". Stan, Kyle, and Butters all smile fondly. Cartman calls them gay (he's glad Kenny's back too)

I hope i don’t sound like a dumbass but i find it funny that nobody in this south park community talks about the weirder elements of the show, and by that i mean like, MOST of the show.

Im talking about stuff like some of the boys’ moms and cereal mascots in End of Obesity trying to kill the main 4 or just, everything with ImaginationLand, or the Woodland Critters Christmas special

N-word for white people gets banned instantly. Again, a major character in this one will return as a henchman later, but that's a minor role with one line. S11E2 Cartman Sucks is FILLER

Butters goes to camp. Eric gets himself in a tricky situation that will be forgotten by next time. S11E3 Lice Capades is FILLER

The boys have lice. Clyde's lice moves on. S11E4 The Snuke is FILLER

Bahir moves in, he moves out, a bomb doesn't even do anything in the end. S11E5 Fantastic Easter Special is CANON

Because Jesus is shown to resurrect himself time and time again, which explains his future appearances, otherwise his S6 death and later returns would be pretty much unexplained. S11E6 D-Yikes! is CANON

Janet has an interesting change when she realizes her attraction to women, a part of her character journey of self-discovery. S11E7 Night of The Living Homeless is FILLER

Eric breaks record of jumping over homeless people. While I consider this as filler content in South Park, remind me if I ever do a Happy Days filler guide to include this one as canon! S11E8 Le Petit Tourette is LORE

As with South Park is Gay from season 7, this one helps to establish Craig Tucker's interest in boys, and this one even foreshadows what's his type is like! S11E9 More Crap is CANON

In my mind, when I started writing about this season it started like: Can you imagine the world where I would say this one's canon? And then I would make a joke and advise everyone to skip it. However reading through the transcript of the banned episode 200 of Emmy Award winning series South Park just to make sure, I found Bono making a very specific reference to this one episode, unlike Sally Struthers for instance, who says very basic things about South Park that made her episode only important enough to count as LORE, as did many other celebrities. Thanks Bono, you have a new record now, interfering with my calculations and gaining the longest paragraph in my guide. S11E10 & S11E11 & S11E12 Imaginationland is FILLER

I know, I know, everyone wanted these to be canon, including myself at one point. And don't worry, my step-sister is going to beat me up over this one so it's already taken care of. My bottom line is that these episodes (also once retconned into a second movie) are somewhat a separate entity from the rest of the series, knowing the characters is needed to it, but the world-building is vastly different from the rest of the show, so this is where it ends up. Imagination is real. Filler is real too. That's the main takeaway. S11E13 Guitar Queer-O is FILLER

After what just happened I can't even take this one seriously. It's like robbing a bank and then jaywalking. S11E14 The List is CANON

Stan and Wendy make up. That's a spectacular episode anyway, but for our intents and purposes for inspecting a continuous story, unlike imagination territory, or a random terrorist attacks, relationship drama is exactly the kind of stuff that gets a pass.
