Jkkrs have the worst understanding of kpop and South Korea. When I see how they talk about Jm and Jk, it’s actually as if they think none of the kpop rules and standards apply to them. It’s as if they don’t see the abuse from Hybe. As if they think Jk and Jm are the only queer idol couple to just be open. They don’t care about context and what led to Jk and Jm becoming close at all. They ignore everything around them. They use a couple of SK’s traditional things (like couple days and numbers) and make those fit their ship. They don’t actually take into account queer relationships in SK at all. They think Jm actually alluded to him and Jk having a daughter in the future .. on camera… in a show that airs when they are enlisted 😳.

My thoughts about Tae in the show have kinda settled on that he was never meant to be in it the way Jk and Jm are. I trust believe he joined them because he could (and wanted to spend time with Jk while he could… Jm being there having been a perk as well). I think we’ve seen Tae do his own thing because he was partly treating this as time off.

The show is basically what I expected. There’s not one inch of me that thinks Tae, Jk and Jm on holiday actually act the way they do on the show. I think there’s a lot of food and sleeping involved when they do have time off, with way less activities. So imo the show is planned, I think they are prompted to do certain things, and I think they enjoyed it nevertheless.
