In the Wikipedia article about Patroclus is a part called "Relationship with Achilles" and I think it is really funny
So the first paragraph sounds pretty normal:
(Erastes: "lover", the older sexual actor, seen as the active or dominant participant; Eromenos: "beloved", the passive or subordinate sexual participant)
(Besides Aeschylus and Phaedrus arguing over who is bottom and who is top)
The article goes on with multiple other ancient greek authors explaining their theories, such as
which might seem like a sort of simbolism, and continues as such, analysing and comparing paralles.
But as you can see, in the end all that was just to proof Patroclus is the bottom.
It starts getting weirder.
For example:
Aka "it already is canon, nobody could be that dumb"
Even Alexander the Great ships it! Did you know that
That dude really read that story and went "damn, having a boyfriend sounds good, i imagine what it is like" and got himself a "life-long companion"
Finally, Shakespeare shares his own impression of this relationship:
Yeah.
No.
I love Wikipedia.

I was having a bad day, and then this lore fell into my lap. My soul is healed, my spirit refreshed, the morphogenetic field flows through me once again.

Snake Island
Snake Island, or its actual name, Ilha da Queimada Grande, is an island located off the coast of Brazil. The island gained its nickname from the enormous amount of snakes rumoured to be living there; about one snake per square meter (10.8 square feet). The place is much too dangerous to live for humans, as fishermen usually get attacked as soon as they set foot on the island (in modern times, lighthouse operators died, forcing the authorities to automate the lighthouse).
There is also a lot of diversity in the kinds of snakes you can find there, including the highly endangered gloden lancehead pit viper.
Fun fact: Queimada is Portugese for forest fire.
Love, Webster

History of the Pride Flag
The rainbow flag or pride flag is a symbol of LGBT pride and LGBT social movements. The colors reflect the diversity of the LGBT community and the spectrum of human sexuality and gender. Using a rainbow flag as a symbol of LGBT pride began in San Francisco, California, but eventually became common at LGBT rights events worldwide.
LGBT people and allies currently use rainbow flags and many rainbow-themed items and color schemes as an outward symbol of their identity or support. There are derivations of the rainbow flag that are used to focus attention on specific causes or groups within the community (e.g. transgender people, fighting the AIDS epidemic, inclusion of LGBT people of color). In addition to the rainbow, many other flags and symbols are used to communicate specific identities within the LGBT community.
In June 2018, designer Daniel Quasar released a redesign incorporating elements from both the Philadelphia flag and trans pride flag to bring focus on inclusion and progress within the community.[76] The flag design spread quickly as the Progress Pride Flag on social media, prompting worldwide coverage in news outlets.[77][78][79] While retaining the common six-stripe rainbow design as a base, the "Progress" variation adds a chevron along the hoist that features black, brown, light blue, pink, and white stripes to bring those communities (marginalized people of color, trans people, and those living with HIV/AIDS and those who have been lost) to the forefront; "the arrow points to the right to show forward movement, while being along the left edge shows that progress still needs to be made."[80]

Her finner man skriftlig norsk fram til utpå 1600-tallet.
Jeg trodde det kun var dansk som ble brukt, og at det ikke var et norskt skriftspråk mellom svartedauden (1340-50) og 1800-1900-tallene når nynorsk og bokmål ble den nye greien.

My dad once joked that the sauce was invented by a restaurant that had been serving it for years without a name until a foreign customer walked in, took one bite of his meal, pointed to it, and asked the waitress, in a heavy accent, “What’s this here sauce?” And the rest is (fake) history.
I think whoever named worcestershire sauce that should have the worst tummy hurty ever
