for this ask imma focus on,,, class 6 of the new hope’s peak academy!!

chiharu nanami: daughter of chiaki nanami and mikan tsumiki (chiaki is dead, mikan managed to create fake sperm with chiaki’s dna and impregnate herself, don’t judge her decision-making she was brainwashed). ultimate field medic. grew up mostly in towa city and then in future foundation custody before being returned to mikan, highly traumatized from this. very much blames junko for everything and has a conspiracy theory that junko is still alive (:0). when she’s not being off the rails about her junko theory she’s a very sweet and normal girl. she can be quiet often but if you’re close enough to her she’ll open up! also she works for future foundation. she/her bi demigirl, dpdr, adhd, ptsd.

kiki izayoi: child of sounosuke izayoi and ruruka andou. ultimate observer. likes to watch rather than participate. observational skills are similar to ult analyst skills. they’re very kind, and will often do small gestures to show their love (eg, once heard chiharu mention her favorite type of candy [konpeito] and then when she was feeling sick made some for her). works for future foundation as well. they/them pan nb, adhd, autism.

akira sakai: not a fankid. ultimate assassin. under the thumb of the holy salvation army (same cult that got maki), they’re threatening him with releasing a copy of junko’s ai into the public if he doesn’t obey. he’s pretty sure it’s a bluff but he doesn’t want to risk it. he’s pretty talkative, mostly as a front so people don’t see how depressed he secretly is. he/him transhet, ptsd, potentially osdd-1a but he’s never heard of it lol.

mamoru miki: not a fankid, but rantaro’s niece (not that he knows that). ultimate spy. very talkative, but in a ramble-y way—they hate the silence and will do anything to fill it. they come off as a bit of a ditz but they’re very dedicated to their profession. they/them sapphic transfem, adhd.

kau yamamoto: not a fankid. ultimate influencer. not in a social media way, but in a “really good at getting people to do what she wants” way. she uses this talent for good, like say rebuilding homes that were torn down by storms, or donating to public services like libraries. she’s very upbeat and cheerful. she/her lesbian, ocd.

also akira/chiharu are in love and mamoru/kiki/kau are in love.

Things to know about Haru’s verse: Haru has the talent of SHSL / Ultimate Trackstar. This is something that will not change. Due to the fact of him being Kaede’s younger brother, I don’t know how to implement him in SDr2. Therefore, I won’t write him in the second game. Just know that he was a member of the future foundation in the outside world while his sister was in the Neo World Program. Haru’s age range is seventeen to nineteen, or twenty years old if I’m writing her in the Future Arc of the Danganronpa anime. Haru, is on team hope, in the Future Arc and doesn’t agree with The 2nd Division and the 6th Division’s simple plan of exterminate all Remnants of Despair and anyone that assist them. Nor does he agree with the 1st Division and 10th Division’s favor in removing the source of despair that exist in human nature. This belief was heavily influenced by the fact that his own sister was a Remnant of Despair herself. In regards to Danganronpa v3: both him and Kaede are active participants in the Killing Game. So the only time their verses intertwine is during the events of Killing Harmony and their Non-Despair AU’s

Non-Despair AU: A non-despair verse, where the tragedy never happened, and Haru simply attends and enjoys life at Hope’s Peak Academy as the Ultimate Trackstar.

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc: Haru, much like the main cast of the 78th class, lived in the Academy happily, spending his happy times together for around one year until The Tragedy occurred. Once the tragedy occurred, the True Ultimate Despair took away his school memories so he could participate in the Killing School Life with the others. While Haru manages to keep a cheerful disposition, you could see visible distraught and fear on his face when Monokuma gave another incentive to the students: The students' most embarrassing and the deepest secrets. Managing to be close friends with Yasuhiro Hagakure, he was an active voice in the 3rd murder trial. Actively helping to clear his friend’s name until Hagakure was no longer the prime suspect. Despite voting for Makoto in the chapter 5 trial, Haru couldn’t wrap his head around Makoto committing a murder. With the killing game finally over and Junko gone, Haru and the remaining survivors were finally free to leave the school, getting rescued by the Future Foundation soon after.

Danganronpa v3: Killing Harmony: Much like the others, Haru is a completely different person then he is in the show. In the killing game show, Haru is a energetic person who’s quickly able to make friends with nearly anyone he interacts with and is a borderline himbo. In the outside world, Haru is cynical, malicious, and reckless person who doesn’t really care for anyone else that aren’t his two sisters and niece. His main purpose for entering the game was to win by any means necessary. Now, this part is a bit tricky. In the outside world, Haru and Kaede are truly siblings. However, due to their first memory via the Flashback Light, they were made to believe that they were twins. While in reality, Haru is younger by a year. Haru’s motive video would’ve included his older sister, Asami as well as his niece. Along with Shuichi, Maki, Himiko, and his sister, hhe resolve himself to go out into the outside world and see the truth for himself.

Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak High School ( Future Arc ): Haru is distant relative of FSHL Blacksmith, Sounosuke Izayoi. After the events of THH, Haru, along with the remaining survivors of the first Killing Game became members of the Future Foundation. Upon hearing that Makoto was charged with the crime of treason for protecting the Remnants of Despair, he felt a wave of relief wash over him that he could’ve cried right then and there. Not only grateful that he was willing to save his sister, but the other Remnant of Despairs as well. Forced to participate in the Final Killing Game by Monokuma, he was fitted with bangle that would put him to sleep at a fixed time. His forbidden action forbade him from smiling until the Killing Game was over. After the fall of the Future foundation, Haru helped with the rebuilding of Hopes Peak before he decided to continue his track training. Every once in a while, he’ll head over to Jabberwock Island to visit his sister.

dr3 was irrelevant but i still love all the characters with the bottom of my heart and still have hopes to have a novel or a proper backstory/background to them.

the dr3 cast, the new characters that is, seemed pretty deep to me, they all had they failures, weakness and best parts. they all felt so human despite we didn’t get to know a lot about them.

i want to see more about ruruka’s and izayoi’s life, i want to know what kind of person miaya was, i want to meet the real juzo, i want to meet the real munakata, i want to see a happy seiko, i want to know a LOT about tengan, i want to see gozu behind that mask, i want to know kizakura, i want to understand ryota, i want to meet the cute bandai’s farm...

i want to see everything about them.

dr3 makes me happy, thank you kodaka and future foundation.

headcanons for munakata who had delusions and hallucinations and was in love with juzo, and close to chisa, seiko, izayoi, and ruruka

heres ur headcanons, munakata! this is just a warning, again, that i myself dont have delusions so there might be problems with these headcanons, so dont feel bad about requesting any changes! and i hope u like them! - mod kiibo - when munakatas delusions and hallucinations first started, he was scared. he didnt want to tell anyone about how terrifying the situation was, but he couldnt deny that he was scared. even though munakata wasnt completely sure why those who were close to him stayed around, he was a little thankful for their constant support - juzo was always very careful when he noticed that something was upsetting munakata. after all, he wasnt completely sure of what could actually be wrong. so, juzo made sure to be gentle around munakata, and always showed him as much care as he possible could, which was actually quite a bit - whenever chisa spent time with munakata and juzo, she always tried to keep the situation light and happy. she would also try to bring baked goods for everyone to snack on, and she just tried to have fun spending time with her two friends. juzo was always pretty happy about the sweets, but he still spent most of his time doting on munakata - when seiko, izayoi, and ruruka all spent time with munakata, they all had to do whatever they could to stay on their best behavior. this usually meant that seiko would stay really quiet and ruruka would end up feeding izayoi as many sweets as he could possibly eat. they all really enjoy spending time with munakata, though, so they dont mind - juzo really enjoyed keeping munakata close to him, whether it be in a hug or a cuddle session. this way, he could be at munakatas side whenever munakata might need him around. plus, he just really enjoyed cuddling with munakata. despite the fact that its pretty obvious, hes still embarrassed when it comes to admitting that he likes all the cuddling - occasionally, seiko will try to spend time with munakata alone. its never that she really has anything to say, but moreso just that she wants to spend time with him where she feels comfortable talking, and she always makes sure to let munakata know that he can tell her pretty much anything. sometimes they talk, and sometimes they just sit in silence for a while, but its alright - if munakata seems to be having a hallucination, juzo makes sure to keep munakata safe. if he can stay around munakata without him getting scared, he does his best to try and make sure that hes alright, and try to comfort him, even if he cant completely understand whats going on. he makes sure to be supportive - occasionally, munakata and everyone he cares about will just spend some time together and maybe share a meal between them all. they all make sure everyone feels welcomed, and they just have fun with one another. chisa usually has to do the cleaning whenever they all get together, but she never seems to mind it too much - whenever munakata wants something done, juzo is the first one to offer to do it for him. this usually makes munakata pretty happy, and juzo enjoys seeing munakata smile and tell him that hes thankful for everything he does. juzo just tells him that he cares about his well being, so he doesnt have a problem helping him out - munakata might have to deal with terrible things because of his own mind, but he makes sure to remember that he has so many people near him that want the best for him. even if he becomes suspicious or scared of them on occasion, he tries to show them how much he cares about them in his own way, and how thankful he is for them all

ok so i have been messaging you a lot about these guys but the 76th class is sort of this weird love/hate thing to me so im gonna leave this here: why the frickity frack wasn't izayoi actually expanded upon 'andou's stoic weapon master bf' when he had so much potential and such a critical character to andou, like why is he one of the most underdeveloped mirai-hen characters this annoys me so so much (sorry for the rambling!)

For awhile I thought it was because they were hammering home that he was man!Peko and he had to sacrifice up his identity to become an extension of Andou for whatever reason, but then I think about how we’re meant to believe he legitimately loved Andou and was there completely by choice.

So yeah, okay, Kodaka wanted that to be a surprise to the audience too, but like…we couldn’t have given Izayoi and Kimura a conversation during their fight?

K: Why do you stay with her?I: You know why.K: What do you mean by that?I: Let me ask you.I: Why don’t you forget about her?

Think about how much more depth even that short exchange would have added. Think about how there’d be all these theories about the mysterious reason Izayaoi and Kimura are bound to Andou and surprise! It’s because they genuinely care for her, despite her flaws.

I dunno. I realize that the staff was rushed and didn’t have the luxury of time to think things over, but I really wanted DR3 to be better.
