i think the fact that Sorin was the first planeswalker Nissa, Nahiri, and Liliana ever met tells you a lot about why they are they way they are

Everyone who's like "(Plane) is RUINED FOREVER following the Phyrexian invasion and it's such a waste :(" remind me of Sorin and Nahiri in Shadows over Innistrad.
Nahiri woke up to find her plane was under attack by the Eldrazi and having a bad time of it, she immediately said "RUINED FOREVER" and decided to get revenge.
Likewise, Sorin saw Emrakul descending on his plane, how madness and mutation had taken so many people and even the very landscape, so he said "RUINED FOREVER" and fucked off to fight Nahiri.
In both cases people were fighting. People who could have used the support of the most powerful planeswalkers still alive. They're willing to declare ownership of an entire plane, but then when things get ugly, rather than trying to fix it, they just decide it's too scuffed up and write it off as a lost cause.

I like to imagine all the MtG characters as like. actors playing their roles in a tv show (except the TV show is the written stories but I digress). Just imagining Nahiri crinkling up the script for ONE and going "Why the fuck was I included then if I'm gonna be written out in the first fucking episode??" (executive shouting:) "FOR THE NOBLE SACRIFICE SCENE LATER, FINISH READING THE SCRIPT BEFORE YOU YELL!" "FUCK YOU I'LL YELL IF I WANT!"
and then sorin has to stop her from killing an executive producer
(yes even though they're actors in this scenario they still have all their batshit insane powers. Nahiri is trying to kill someone on the daily and Sorin is her exhausted dad trying to stop her. Jace is invisible 99% of the time and they spray water at empty spots where they think he's hiding until they hear a disgruntled hiss and he is revealed)

assuming you wanted
Oldwalker Gang Ugin, Sorin, Nahiri
omg they're all so rancid :( can i at least have like. compleated nahiri
Fuck: Nahiri, compleated because I make the rules now. I may not like her personality but I don't say no to compleation
Marry: uhhh Ugin? Again this is mostly for practicality reasons because he seems to be the most powerful and well-connected of the bunch (even if sealed away rn. But maybe that's a plus)
Kill: Sorin sorry I'm not a white vampire twink person 😔

Embroiled in a lore revamp for Innistrad to remove as many of the problems with the worldbuilding as possible. Wanna see?
[I turn over my whiteboard to show a single post-it note that says ‘PLANESWALKERS RUIN EVERYTHING]

It's great how Nahiri was weirded the fuck out by Avacyn's appearance and then the fact Sorin STOLE HER FACE is never addressed again.

I think that if WOTC decides to kill off Nahiri, Sorin should be the one to do it. It would make their conflict go full circle, and Sorin would feel the least bad about it. We would get a final showdown between them, with neither of them holding anything back.
While I’m still holding out hope that the compleated planeswalkers can somehow be saved, I think that the best way to kill of Nahiri would be for Sorin to do it. Also I want Sorin to look cool and do cool stuff.
