guys, there's no way.

it was around the end of the misfits show at sonic temple and the guy in front of me i was talking to waved me over. i hopped down a stand then he pointed to floor, i pointed to myself, he nodded, then i full on just booked it straight to the front of the stage with him. the guy and i pushed through the crowd to the front. i had my 5 minutes of excitement, and i swear i almost pissed and shit myself all at the same time i was so fucking happy 😭😭. they played 20 eyes and we are 138 when i was down there but overall, it was fucking CRAZY. glenn sounded just like he used to, my voice is fucked, my neck is sore and holy shit. you won't believe me but i was within 10 MOTHERFUCKING FEET of glenn, GLENN DANZIG. THE FUCKING GLENN. THE FUCKING DANZIG. GLENN. DANZIG. LIKE HELLLOOOO????? WHATT???? HOLY FUCKING HELLL??????? SCREAMS??? YELLSS EVEN????? WOOO????????,???? yeah.. i don't believe what i've wrote either. i didn't get a stick or a pick or anything but i had a fucking amazing time either way, my parents and i got lots of pics and vids. i still have a stupid fucking cloud 9 smile rn, even after leaving.

When did Eric play with The Cult??

It has him listed as recording fucking SONIC TEMPLE.

And I’m thinking

How did I not know about this??

But then I noticed that he recorded the demos for the album but not the actual songs released.

I was hoping I’d catch maybe a glimpse of him in the Fire Woman video but it must be the guy who recorded it, or just some session muso used for the video, a la Eric on Olivia Newton John’s video. This dude has a completely different drum set up and not nary a drumstick twirl in sight.

Anyhooo…it’s a great album and this is a great song, Eric or no Eric.
