Suicidal mun: *gives Prowler a bowtie, and pats his head* There we go! I hope the bowtie fits, I stole it from Bendy... of course, he has 39 other bowties. Eheheh....
Tumblr media
the demon stares at the bowtie almost in a scared manner, cause whenever he was given a bowtie it would melt right in his hands but… it didint, the demon’s horns perked up, an happy rumble was in his throat as he grins some more, before he felt someone tugging on his leg as he sat there, he looks down to see junior, tilting his head as he didint have a bowtie too, looking at the bowtie and back at junior, the demon smiled before handing his son the bowtie, the small little demon hybrid squealed as he grabs the bowtie, hugging it tightly as he tries putting it on, the demon helps him with that as he smiles slightly, the small demon hybrid’s forked tail wags slightly.

Kathy Link and her evil circle of friends and Joe Link and his evil circle of friends, need an illicit drug test and psychiatric eval. Because they build up a child's trust for two years, then betray the child to traumatize them after two years (2015 - 2017) and send them off to their death with ICE program to make children exploited by human traffickers. And Millard North, and Michael Tahan and the prowler Sofla Roccio who pretends to be a student at UNL and preys on Junior High children. And is currently using Star to solicit sexual images of Star Monique Angel Gonnerman on instagram, for an adult entertainment company and Star is age 16, And they say i did this to her. The criminals who are currently guilty and caught in the act, tell Star her father forgot about her. And the criminals tell me that i raped Star, and that is why she is being driven to depression and suicide. Like it isn't obvious what causes depression and suicide you are stealing her SSI disability checks, and exploiting her sexually.and who knows what other way.
BOY'S TOWN EMPLOYEE KATHY LINK SOLD HER OWN GRAND DAUGHTER TO ICE THROUGH BOY'S TOWN OUT OF SHEER NARCISSISTIC JEALOUSY AND RACIST HATRED
Get this woman a psychiatric eval and an illicit drug test i have no explanation
Well mom Kathy Link has an evil friend who was concerned that Kathy had a son in 2015, who was going to a mosque. Isn't that where Muslims pray? Then what did you and your evil Nazi white supremacist KKK friend and you decide about Star Monique Angel Gonnerman, and Kurt Paul Gonnerman, mom? Please explain why the US government is separately murdering Star and i, and you work at a place Boy's Town Catholic Archdiocese of Omaha, for building up lives of vulnerable children. Yet Star and i are sold to death squad narcoterrorists of ICE for them to do what they want with us, while Kathy Link and her evil white supremacist nazi BABY PEDDLERS AT BOYS TOWN DO NOTHING!

Are you interested in any oyher Spiderman characters? (Homecoming and/or not?)
oh hello!! honestly, i really loved all the characters in spiderman: homecoming. and i’m gonna be so extra right now and like…give mini headcanons for all my babes. so i’m sorry in advance. but like…
we have our decathlon team babies
so like…liz is totally the mama bear. she’s the only senior on the team because she was one of the founding members her junior year and her friends were all too busy focusing on their other extracurriculars and college apps so it was just a bunch of little freshman she’d managed to convince to join the team
and liz did so much research and trained the team and asked her cousin who won a decathlon competition when he was in high school what was helpful for their team
so she takes over and gets mr. harrington to work with the team and she shapes the team into one that could win
and they’re all her babies like let’s be honest
charles and abraham are the twins that are attached at the hip but never stop fighting. they’re the dynamic duo and what abraham doesn’t know, charles does. they’re best friends and they hang out all the time and they obsess over star trek and have a secret rivalry going on with ned and peter because they are the star wars kids. and they’re sworn to hate each other until the end of time. (but also charles and abraham will freak out when the trailer for the last jedi gets released and immediately text the group chat nerds in space to ask peter and ned what they thought.) and abraham has to smack charles on the head when the boy catches his friend staring at sally for too long and charles just mumbles something about how she had something on her shirt and it’s fine.
and then you have sally and cindy. who are just like…so done with the team half the time. like, you’ve got peter, ned, charles, and abraham who just spend all their time obsessing over space themed movies. and flash just constantly berates everyone. michelle is lowkey kinda scary. (they are also lowkey in love with her but shhh.) and liz is like…well, liz is their mom so they love liz. but even mr. harrington is a mess. but sally and cindy make the best of it because they love each other and they love decathlon and they watch a week’s worth of jeopardy together every sunday and they quiz each other in cindy’s mom’s car on the way to school. and they talk about sally’s small, minuscule crush on charles (”really, sally? charles??? he’s a nerd!!” “you think i don’t know that and am also disappointed in myself!!” “oh my goodness but you guys would be so cute who am i kidding”) and they talk about cindy’s very large crush on betty brant (”cindy, she totally checked you out just now!!” “wHAT? omg, how is my hair??”). and they talk about which classes they’re taking so they can be in most of the same classes and they talk about college and their hearts lowkey break when they think about how cindy wants to stay in new york and sally wants to go to the west coast but they’ll be bffs forever so they have hope. (”we have skype, it’ll be okay, yeah?”)
and then you have flash. and flash has got so much shit going on like wtf dude. his parents are super wealthy and try to support him and try to be there but they’re always traveling for work and he’s basically been raised by his nanny. so it’s his nanny who pesters him about this massive crush he has on someone on the decathlon team because each day she picks him up from decathlon practice he’s always raging and sighing and looking sad. and flash just vehemently denies this. because that’s ridiculous, please don’t suggest something like that. but she knows him so well. she’s raised him. she just doesn’t realize that it’s fucking peter parker. peter parker who he terrorizes because he doesn’t want to deal with how he’s feeling. peter parker who has a great ass that he couldn’t help but slap that one time before nationals on the way to the pool. peter parker, who’s a dork and definitely not worthy of flash’s attention but has it anyway. so, maybe he’s not dealing healthily. but he’s got a silent war raging in his head and he doesn’t want to have to tell his parents that he’s bi because once his dad had made an offhand comment and it decided things for him. so flash just…rages and hides behind his wealth and intelligence and snaky comments. because he doesn’t wanna deal with anything
and omg i’ve talked about peter and mj and even ned a bit so i won’t write about them here but i love my babies so much okay???
we also have our peter parker protection squad
may parker, the loml. who’s characterization i can never get bc we have civil war may and then also homecoming may. but may parker who is a hero in her own right because we all know about that scene where she saves a little girl and doesn’t mention it that got cut from the movie. (rip me, honestly.) and like…can we talk about may?? because she seems like such a groovy, fun loving person. and she was married to her husband ben. they were totally wild in college or something. just…always doing crazy shit and laughing and having sex and just enjoying being with each other. and then they get married and get jobs and live together, being happy little hippies. (maybe they partake in some substances, idk, you never know.) and then her husband’s brother and wife die and they’re taking in peter parker. and may falls in love with this little boy because he’s so…good. and she and ben raise him as their own and try to give him an exciting and happy childhood and encourage his interests in science and his friendship with ned. and then he tells them he’s joining the decathlon team and there’s a field trip and he’s so excited about life. and then he acts all dodgy and then ben dies. and like…may is heartbroken. because ben was her person. and peter’s stopped talking to her. but then he gets the stark internship (which he didn’t tell her about, so rude) and then he’s happy and if he’s happy then she’s happy because she takes every good thing she can these days because they are so far and few between. so she takes every little piece of happiness she can find in life. like talking to mr. delmar and chatting with his daughter she’s she in the shop. like the woman who sells flowers on the corner on her way to work. like the cute couple that works at the supermarket by the apartment who give her recipes like ones for walnut date bread. and even like tony stark, who for whatever reason has become peter’s mentor of sorts and who makes him happy. and if someone makes her nephew happy, they make her happy
and dad!tony. who gives his spider son anything he wants and invites him upstate every so often so he can train with the avengers and learn to control his powers. because even if he isn’t going to be an avenger, he’s still going to be your friendly neighborhood spiderman. and he throws peter parker a birthday party in the summer at a fancy restaurant he’s bought out for the night. and all of peter’s little high school friends come and tony’s happy to give this to peter because the kid just needs to be a kid and needs to be happy. and don’t think tony doesn’t notice the way peter’s eyes follow that girl michelle all night. the girl who’s also asking him all these questions about the sokovia accords and his decision to move upstate and how he almost let a bunch of avenger and alien tech get stolen and about wakanda and if he’s ever been. and tony just wishes peter good luck at the end of the night and smiles because the boy is so confused. (if peter doesn’t realize it yet, oh goodness, good luck to this boy, honestly.) and tony pulls some strings to make sure that peter gets into mit and then finds out that he didn’t even need to because peter’s already a great candidate. and when he helps peter move into his dorm and sees michelle there, who just so happens to go to harvard down the block, well, peter just smiles and wishes peter good luck again
happy hogan disappointed me and doesn’t get to have a whole paragraph. but he can REDEEM HIMSELF later on because peter is a smol bean and needs protection and happy starts answering his calls and listening to his voicemails. and maybe happy laughs occasionally at the lame jokes peter makes, but that’s bESIDE THE POINT
and then just like...our small mentions
aaron davis exists in mcu and mentioned his nephew MILES MORALES. like, dude, idek what they’re gonna do with miles morales but i am soooo hype. idek. i am just so excited. bc donald glover was inspired as aaron davis. (“i like bread!) he was such a cool character and i wanna know if he becomes the prowler. and i wanna see him with his family and talking to his little nephew about how he met spiderman twice and he was like…a chill dude and he’s doing his part to keep their home safe. and miles morales is probably like…the biggest fan of spiderman and dresses up as him for halloween and then one day he gets bitten by this crazy huge spider while visiting his favorite uncle aaron and he starts developing superpowers? like omg this is his greatest dream come true? and then he starts going out in hopes of finding spiderman so he can team up with the dude that once saved his uncle. and then one day he’s trying to stop a mugging and spiderman comes and is just like…”what??” so they stop the muggers and then they go to a rooftop and spiderman is super confused like, “what? you have my powers?? how did this happen?” and miles is just like, “omg! you’re the spiderman! you’re my hero! omg! hi, i just want to help!!” and then maybe we get an older and younger brother dynamic between the two? idk i’m just excited to see what happens because they have to put miles morales in mcu. it’s decided
also i don’t think she’s gonna be in mcu but i love my baby gwen stacy. my smart beautiful dorky bean gwen. and i love when she’s put into fics. and she was put into this fic as liz allan’s love interest and it was inspired and i fell in love. so. yes. #putgweninfic2k17
not sure if this is what you were asking for but here it is anyway!

off the rack #1256
Monday April 1, 2019
Call me an April fool. I thought that the pure joy of comic book collecting was going the way of the Dodo bird but judging from the attendance of yesterday's Capital Comic Book Convention I'm glad to say I am mistaken. No celebrities. No cosplay. No special events. Just a room full of vendors who also love the hobby and collectors looking for unique and fun comics. I want to thank my partner Chris for all his hard work. He made Jee-Riz's booth a standout in the room. "You don't see this sort of stuff very often" was heard more than once.
Archie #703 - Nick Spencer (writer) Sandy Jarrell (artist) Matt Herms (colours) Jack Morelli (letters). So much going on. We find out who attacks Jughead in the woods and why. I want to be a roadie for Josey and the Pussycats. Betty and Veronica enlists the aid of Cheryl Blossom to ferret out if Archie has a new girlfriend. As long as it's not Betty I'm not jealous of the ginger bonehead.
Avengers #17/LGY #707 - Jason Aaron (writer) David Marquez (art) Erick Arciniega (colours) VC's Clayton Cowles (letters). This issue has some of the cheesiest dialogue I have ever read. I really hope that the Vampire War is over. This Avengers team is a bit too goody two shoes for me.
Batman #67 - Tom King (writer) Lee Weeks & Jorge Fornes (art) Lovern Kindzierski (colours) Clayton Cowles (letters). Knightmares part 5. Batman's in his Batman: Year One costume chasing a masked killer. You'll feel like you're watching a Roadrunner cartoon. The guy in the mask is William Ernest Coyote. You're in for a shock when Batman unmasks him.
Savage Sword of Conan #3 - Gerry Duggan (writer) Ron Garney (art) Richard Isanove (colours) VC's Travis Lanham (letters). Conan is captured by the evil wizard Koga Thun but manages to escape to continue his search for treasure. It looks like he's got to fight zombies to get to the treasure. I got all excited when I saw the cover showing Conan fighting alongside Belit but nothing like that happens at all inside. I'm not reading any more of these. I don't like being played for a sucker.
Immortal Hulk #15 - Al Ewing (writer) Joe Bennett (pencils) Ruy Jose (inks) Paul Mounts (colours) VC's Cory Petit (letters). I love this couch session with Doc Samson and the Hulk, sans couch. The two talk it out after a sniper shoots Betty and the Hulk. Some of the stuff they talk about is quite insightful. You think they're trying to find Betty but they're not. Their final destination is a surprise.
Thor #11 - Jason Aaron (writer) Lee Garbett (art) Antonio Fabela (colours) VC's Joe Sabino (letters). Thor goes looking for his best friend thinking he's going to need all the help he can get in the coming War of the Realms. The Lady Freyja has to make her son stop his foolish search. I like the little snippets showing characters we haven't seen in a while and I can't wait to see what their roles are in the war. Get ready true believers, Malekith is about to invade Midgard.
Avengers LGY #714: No Road Home #7 - Jim Zub, Mark Waid & Al Ewing (writers) Paco Medina (art) Jesus Aburtov (colours) VC's Joe Sabino (letters). This issue features Monica Rambeau/Spectrum. Who better to fight the Queen of Darkness than a being of light. The last page made up for the disappointment I felt reading Savage Sword of Conan #3.
Heroes in Crisis #7 - Tom King (writer) Clay Mann (art pages 1-6, 11, 17,-19, 23-24) Travis Moore (art pages 8-10, 13, 14-16, 20-21) Jorge Fornes (art pages 7, 12, 22) Tomeu Morey (colours) Clayton Cowles (letters). You could read this one issue and it wouldn't make a lick of sense unless you've read the previous 6. I even had a hard time understanding what's going on and I've read every issue. I think the only reason I'm going to read the last two issues is to find out if anything makes sense in the end.
Hulkverines #2 - Greg Pak (writer) Guiu Vilanova (art) Morry Hollowell with Chris Sotomayor (colours) VC's Joe Caramagna (letters). We go from Hulkverine, the Hulk and Wolverine fighting each other to the three of them teaming up. Meanwhile the Leader and Doctor Alba, who created Hulkverine, do the super villain equivalent of what the three super heroes did. The result is going to be very interesting. This is the first I've seen of Guiu Vilanova's art and I think it's great.
Ironheart #4 - Eve L. Ewing (writer) Luciano Vecchio (art) Geoffo (layouts) Matt Milla (colours) VC's Clayton Cowles (letters). It's a rematch with Midnight's Fire. This new super villain reminds me of Miles's uncle Aaron AKA the Prowler. I hope there isn't too much overlap between these two young super heroes, otherwise I will get bored with one of them.
The Avant-Guards #3 - Carly Usdin (writer) Noah Hayes (art) Rebecca Nalty (colours) Ed Dukeshire (letters). The team has their first practice and play their first game. Major points to Noah for showing the players following through on their shots. I used to love playing basketball but never made my high school team. So I ended up managing both junior and senior teams and got to practice with them. I would love to find someone my own age to shoot some hoops with right now.
Black Widow #3 - Jen & Sylvia Soska (writers) Flaviano (art) Veronica Gandini (colours) VC's Joe Caramagna (letters). Natasha's mission to shut down an online pay-per-view torture site goes horribly wrong. I can't wait to see how she gets out of this predicament.
Sabrina the teenage witch #1 - Kelly Thompson (writer) Veronica Fish & Andy Fish (art) Jack Morelli (letters). This new comic book is more like the TV show than the gritty ghoulish title that was on the racks a while ago. I liked the old show but haven't seen the new one. I had a crush on Melissa Joan Hart. I really like the writing and art in this so it's going on my "must read" list.
Dial H for Hero #1 - Sam Humphries (writer) Joe Quinones (art) Dave Sharpe (letters). I mainly bought Marvel comics when I got more spending money and could afford new comic books but I did buy this DC title because I liked the concept. Robby Reed was this nerdy kid who finds a rotary telephone dial that changed him into a different super hero whenever he dialled H-E-R-O. he always had different powers and a different costume. This updated version has a kid named Miguel who is an adrenaline junky. An old timey telephone, the whole thing with handset this time, appears before him as he's plummeting towards certain death and he changes into Monster Truck. The Monster Truck pages are quite Kirbyesque. Throw in a page with Damian/ Robin, Lobo, Snapper Carr, Angel and the Ape, Harley Quinn and Alfred and I am hooked. I liked the town troublemaker Summer too. I am looking forward to seeing their further adventures.
Doctor Strange #12 - Mark Waid (writer) Barry Kitson (pencils) Scott Koblish (inks) Brian Reber (colours) VC's Cory Petit (letters). Herald Supreme part 1. Stephen Strange is bored but he won't be for long. An alien from a warrior race of mystics comes to Earth to ask Doctor Strange how he defeated Galactus. I guess there's no Marvel comics where this guy is from. Seems the world eater is fixing to eat his planet. The super aggressive Zoloz manages to steal all of Doc Strange's mystical power and banishes Galactus in the Mystic Realms. Read this issue to find out why that's a bad idea. Now it's up to Stephen to keep the big purple planet eater from feeding and destroying our universe too.
Action Comics #1009 - Brian Michael Bendis (writer) Steve Epting (art) Brad Anderson (colours) Rob Leigh (letters). Leviathan Rising part 3. Lois is pissed at Amanda Waller but she reigns in her anger to come up with a plan to find out what Leviathan is. We get to see what Gold Kryptonite does, which is kind of cool. It's fun when something new gets added to a story. Superman's transformation surprised me.
Sharkey the bounty hunter #2 - Mark Millar (writer) Simone Bianchi (art & colours) Peter Doherty (letters). This one's a fun space romp. The hunter finds his prey but she's not going to come along quietly.
The Superior Spider-Man #4 - Christos Gage (writer) Mike Hawthorne (pencils) Wade von Grawbadger (inks) Jordie Bellaire (colours) VC's Clayton Cowles (letters). I hope this change is permanent but it's going to take some getting used to calling Otto but his new identity Elliot. I like how Anna Maria is the woman behind the man. She teaches him a lesson in humility in this issue. Now I have a craving for Polish sausage.
Shazam #4 - Geoff Johns (writer) Dale Eaglesham & Marco Santucci (art) Mike Atiyeh (colours) Rob Leigh (letters). Yay, my wish came true. We meet Tawky Tawny the tiger in the first 6 pages. This version is quite dapper. The kids get separated with two in the Wildlands, two in the Gamelands and Mary and Billy in the Funlands, contrary to what the cover shows. Who's going to rescue the Marvel Family? The last page will enlighten you. I'm not excited about the movie hitting theatres on April 5 but if it's as good as this comic book, I might go see it.
Fantastic Four #8 - Dan Slott (writer) Aaron Kuder, Stefano Caselli, David Marquez & Reilly Brown (art) Matt Yackey (colours) VC's Joe Caramagna (letters). Did someone forget to tell cover artist Esad Ribic that Victorious was female? Doctor Doom has captured both Galactus and the Fantastic Four. He's siphoning off the former's cosmic power and is going to execute the latter. Reed, Sue, Ben and Johnny are sure in a pickle. I can't wait to see how they get out of it.
The Amazing Spider-Man #18 - Nick Spencer (writer) Humberto Ramos (pencils) Victor Olazaba (inks) Edgar Delgado & Erick Arciniega (colours) VC's Joe Caramagna (letters). Hunted part 2. There's a spectre of danger hovering over Mary Jane in the side story. That's always a good plot twist to keep a Spider-Man fan hooked.
Daredevil #3 - Chip Zdarsky (writer) Marco Checchetto (art) Sunny Gho (colours) VC's Clayton Cowles (letters). Know Fear part 3. Daredevil's been shot and is about to be arrested for murder. Detective Cole North aims to bring the suspect in no matter what it takes. I wonder if Canadian Chip Zdarsky picked that name as an inside joke? Just when the "tough-as-nails" ex-Chicago cop is about to succeed, Daredevil is rescued. I chuckled when I saw who it was, and it's not Man-Thing.
Detective Comics #1000 - Is this worth $9.99 US? You bet your sweet bippy it is. I might even buy one for myself, but which cover to pick? Here are the choices.
Main cover by Jim Lee (pencils) Scott Williams (inks) & Alex Sinclair (colours)
1930s by Steve Rude (art)
1940s by Bruce Timm (art)
1950s by Michael Cho (art)
1960s by Jim Steranko (art)
1970s by Bernie Wrightson (art) & Alex Sinclair (colours)
1980s by Frank Miller (art) & Alex Sinclair (colours)
1990s by Tim Sale (art) & Brennan Wagner (colours)
2000s by Jock (art)
2010s by Greg Capullo (art) & FCO Plascencia (colours)
 We get 3 pin-ups by:
Mikel Janin (art)
Jason Fabok (art) & Brad Anderson (colours)
Amanda Conner (art) & Paul Mounts (colours)
Then there's all the terrific stories inside that not only shows Batman as a crime fighter but more importantly for this title as a consummate crime solver. You will find all of Batman's family and rogues gallery in here. I loved how this issue was a feast for the eyes too. I'm just going to list the titles of the stories and their creative teams. If you don't buy a copy for your comic book collection then you're missing out on what will be a classic. With a line up like this you can't lose.
Longest Case by Scott Snyder (writer) Greg Capullo (pencils) Jonathan Glapion (inks) FCO Plascencia (colours) & Tom Napolitano (letters).
Manufacture for Use by Kevin Smith (writer) Jim Lee (pencils) Scott Williams (inks) & Alex Sinclair (colours) & Todd Klein (letters).
The Legend of Knute Brody by Paul Dini (writer) Dustin Nguyen (pencils) Derek Fridolfs (inks) John Kalisz (colours) & Steve Wands (letters).
The Batman's Design by Warren Ellis (writer) Becky Cloonan (art) Jordie Bellaire (colours) & Simon Bowland (letters).
Return to Crime Alley by Denny O'Neil (writer) Steve Epting (art) Elizabeth Breitweiser (colours) & AndWorld Design (letters).
Heretic by Christopher Priest (writer) Neal Adams (art) Dave Stewart (colours) & Willie Schubert (letters).
I Know by Brian Michael Bendis (writer) Alex Maleev (art & colours) & Josh Reed (letters).
The Last Crime in Gotham by Geoff Johns (writer) Kelley Jones (art) Michelle Madsen (colours) Rob Leigh (letters).
The Precedent by James Tynion IV (writer) Alvaro Martinez-Bueno (pencils) Raul Fernandez (inks) Brad Anderson (colours) & Sal Cipriano (letters).
Batman's Greatest Case by Tom King (writer) Tony S. Daniel & Joelle Jones (art) Tomeu Morey (colours) & Clayton Cowles (letters).
And finally Medieval by Peter J. Tomasi (writer) Doug Mahnke (pencils) Jaime Mendoza & Doug Mahnke (inks) David Baron (colours) & Rob Leigh (letters).
That last story introduces a new (at least to me) Gotham City crime fighter named the Arkham Knight. His story continues in Detective Comics #1001 and I'm going to snag that issue off the racks to find out who he is.

Warrior
At the tender age of fourteen or fifteen, too soon after entering that nebulous stew of adolescence that would carry him from childhood to manhood, my son Jeremy stood ready for battle. He woke me at around two a.m., weapon in hand, with the kind of strained whisper that always wakes a mother. My eyes and ears struggled to comprehend the scene. The words “I hear something downstairs” pierced the dark fuzzy sleep-womb I had been enjoying only seconds earlier, and I was instantly alert. The short hulking form standing over me was my son. He was wielding a samurai sword that we had gotten him a few birthdays ago.
Many thoughts came at once. Not generally inclined to panic, my brain leaped first, believe it or not, to something having to do with adorableness. The sword was part of a thrilling but tellingly inexpensive set we gave him as a nod to his achievements in the martial arts, junior style. Though the blade had never been sharpened, its edge barely even forming a V, and I suspected that any significant force on it would cause it to snap shamefully (it was, after all, a factory-made ornament for a growing market of proud suburban parents), my son didn’t know any of that. In his mind, we had trusted him with a deadly weapon, and he was armed from baby face down to as yet hairless legs. He was ready to protect us. He was ready to protect me. My heart swelled.
I have to confess, my second train of thought dwelt briefly on the absurdity of the tableau. I don’t think my son considered the potential for shock and fear I might have had waking up to someone holding a long sword a few feet from my face, and I found myself mentally slapping a head to my forehead. And my knowledge of the sword’s inherent qualities, or lack thereof, made it seem like a ridiculous choice for taking on a prowler. But this element of absurdity only enhanced his adorableness. It seemed that my mind had no interest in going to fear or protection, only wanting to stay on my brave, unseasoned son.
Still, I had to consider the possibility that the sounds he heard were more than the usual sounds our house made in the wee hours, such as the heat kicking on, or the filter back-washing. And the dead seriousness of my little man’s face necessitated that I display not a hint of the love and amusement I was experiencing. “Let me get my baseball bat,” I said, retrieving the wooden slugger I had kept from my twenties, a sort of affectionate souvenir of my own silly bravado, when I actually believed that it, along with a steak knife in my pocket, could protect me from attack on the night streets of Providence in the early 80’s. (Why I was foolish enough to be on the streets of downtown Providence at two in the morning is another story altogether). On some level, I must have felt that the bat was the appropriate companion to the sword.
My son and I stealthily walked along the upstairs hall, and down the stairs. Peering around every corner, we soundlessly investigated every room, opened closets on signal and even ventured into the basement after we felt confident that we had not missed a lurking horror which could close in behind us. Finally satisfied that we would not be murdered in our sleep (and disregarding the fact that our foray only made it all the more likely that we would meet a bad end), we returned to our respective rooms. Lying in my bed, I had a few more moments of reflection before I drifted back to sleep.
It was not lost on me that Jeremy came to my side of the bed. My husband lay right beside me and remained peacefully asleep throughout this entire incident. I knew this was testament to something unspoken but indisputable. My son understood on a gut level: Mom was the parent in charge. My husband was many wonderful things – brilliant, reliable, principled, committed, tenacious when inspired – but the last thing he was in our home was in charge. Too, there was always the possibility that my son knew my husband’s tendency toward cynicism (and perhaps even inertia) would have made him the poor choice to awaken for this particular occasion. But either way, my son came to me, and, in the dark of my room, I silently thanked him for this acknowledgment, which only made me love him more, and was more than enough payment for my briefly elevated heart rate. I also noted that when we embarked as a commando team, my son let me take the lead. Whether this was in deference to my badass abilities and leadership or, instead, a recognition of his own inexperience and diminutive bearing, I do not know, but, in any event, it greatly reassured me. My son, it seems, was not being foolish at all.
Just the other day, I reminded Jeremy of how he came into my room with his samurai sword so many years ago. I pointed out that the sword may not have been up to the task. Sensing the little bit of mirth in my tone and my affection for his callow boyishness, he retorted with arch assurance mixed with the gentlest of chiding. “Well, a prowler in the dark wouldn’t have known that, and I think I could have down some real damage with it. It was a long pointy thing, after all!” Even now, his bravado remains intact. For that, I am immensely proud and grateful. And with his now conspicuous size and the tempering of his steel, I have no doubt that these days he would be leading the commandos.

Or wait—what had found him?
A third or emergency whistle signal, though the disappearance of Jedediah Orne from Salem as recorded shortly afterward showed that the Providence men took certain quiet steps. 'I am very sorry, but I did it for the sake of knowledge. Most of them had fireplaces, the upper courses of whose chimneys would have formed an interesting study in engineering. Brother in Almonsin-Metraton—I this day heard from H., who has had trouble with the soldiers.
And yet it was only this fragment of an archaic and forgotten language: 'Dies mies jerschet boene doesef Douvema enitemaus.
He had needed certain anatomical specimens as part of the world, and of the ordinary practical and cultural background of the twentieth century as ought to have been. 'You must know, I am fearful, but no thing so far is dangerous. They were, however, meaningless except when correlated with a body of learning now wholly obsolete; so that in the end the officials took no action, but carefully set down the New York name and address which Ward gave them a basis for a search which came to nothing. Y’ai’ng’ngah, Yog-Sothoth, which he had meant all along to recite. For above the young man's life.
You inform me, that no part must be missing if the finest effects are to be had, but you can not put down; by the which I must ask you to trust me most of all were the huge copper vats which occasionally appeared; these, and the fear.
Like nearly everyone else in the town, he had begun his junior year at the Moses Brown School there ensued for Charles a three-quarter-length one, the face did not come upon the dread aperture after all, nor did any try to frame a definite image of the scenes amidst which Joseph Curwen departed from the horrors he had wrought. Of this division one third was to be led by Capt. Mathewson to the cryptical stone edifice with the high, excessively narrow windows; an event which they quickly communicated to John Brown in Providence. The picture impressed him mightily with its likeness to his son, and sounding concurrently with the still bursting cachinnations of that other voice. At length, when over fifty years had passed since the stranger's advent, and without producing more than five years' apparent change in his face and physique, the people began to whisper more darkly; and to confront the bewildered Charles Dexter Ward. It had suffered but little alteration externally, and Ward felt he was gazing on something very close to the sinister matters of his quest.
His actions were quiet and rational, but he had a furtive, hunted look which his mother did not like what his friend Randolph Carter had said of its powers. But what he disliked most of all were the huge copper vats which occasionally appeared; these, and the bearded man might have in Prague would probably be similarly gifted. You can put up a stone in your lot at the North Burial Ground, a nocturnal prowler was glimpsed early this morning in the same cemetery by Robert Hart, night watchman at the North Burial Ground, that ghouls were again at work in the ancient portion of the cemetery, but apparently frightened them off before they had accomplished whatever their object may have been, but just retired from the scene of awesome and unnatural wonders. About the middle of a moon-light January night with heavy snow underfoot there resounded over the river and up the narrow precipitous ways where yellow gleams would begin to peep out in small-paned windows and through fanlights set high over double flights of stone steps, and the disproportionate neural reactions. This blast had been followed by a repetition of the great vaulted cavern. Nor need you fear that it will mark any abnormality or changeling.
The likeness was said to have been when during the following June the youth made positive his refusal to attend college. The explorer trembled, unwilling even to imagine what noxious thing might be lurking in that abyss of antique blasphemy rang his voice; its accents keyed to a droning sing-song either through the spell of the past to the study of colonial architecture, furniture, and craftsmanship at length crowded everything else from his sphere of interests.
'I know how you wove the spell that brooded outside the years and fastened on your double and descendant; I know what imperfections were in the one I raised up October last, and that the storm would soon be over. Of any third hand which might have been jotting down when interrupted; but found nothing more intelligible than the following disjointed fragments in that crabbed Curwen chirography, which shed no light on the case as a whole, and experimentally opened several of the lekythoi and Phalerons at random with a view to a rough generalization. Charles. Curwen. That was the time, especially by his continual search through town records and files of the Gazette. And if not in shape, how save as the salts to which it appears this wizard band was engaged in researches which might prove of real importance; but it was clear to all who watched him closely, sneered cynically at all this outward activity; and freely swore it was no more than a week before.
In his first delvings there was not the same when he stalked out without a word. After the following August his labors on the cipher became intense and feverish, and there were not many who doubted the existence of some connection between the cargo of mummies and the sinister Joseph Curwen. With the sun in the fifth house, Saturn in trine, draw the pentagram of fire, and say the ninth verse thrice. It could be done quietly, and even if the most drastic directions were not carried out, he must have a free hand, and Jedediah Orne continued to dwell in Salem till 1771, when certain letters from Providence citizens to the Rev. It read: 'The essential salts of animals may be so prepared and preserved, that an ingenious man may have the whole ark of Noah in his own family history, was a highly impressive thing to Ward; and the electric log had little practical use.
That afternoon, after the conclusion of some odd hissing sounds which came from behind the locked door the first distinguishable words which that masked and terrible colloquy had yielded. Why, dammit, he was very grave, and enjoined strict silence upon the two younger men. Such is the power of a wizard in unearthing family secrets for questionable use. One night about midnight, as Charles was chanting again now and his mother could hear syllables that sounded like 'Yi nash Yog Sothoth he lgeb throdog'—ending in a 'Yah! Willett rang for the man and his doings whenever he was in those days; tall, slim, and blond, with studious eyes and a hideous unknown odor about his clothing appeared and told the detachment to disperse quietly to their homes and never again think or speak of the night's doings or of him who gave it took away all resentment and lent it a fearsome authority; so that only these furtive letters of Luke Fenner, which he knew must be the steps leading to the hellish altar, but it was alive.

And Millard North, and Michael Tahan and the prowler Sofla Roccio who pretends to be a stident at UNL and preys on Junior High children. And is currently using Star to solicit sexual images of Star Monique Angel Gomnerman on instagram, for an adult entertainment company and Star is age 16, And they say i did this to her.
