and today in "the universe is fucking with me specifically", went to get a happy meal for lunch because why the hell not. Got a toy with it that is no longer being made as of half a year ago. And guess what
It's a lion with wings

Put this one up in my shrine next to all the rest of my randomly acquired lion toys and feathers#.... I am now realizing most of my followers might have. No idea about the significance of winged lions for me#Tldr I'm one of those ppl that firmly believe in magic and also. Idk spirit animal is a term used by a specific culture but like#Effectively I kinda. Am. A winged lion#In the sense of “hey wouldn't it be interesting if xyz was true in mythology about winged lions” and guess what it actually is#And I just. Know. Stuff. Specifically about winged lion figures in a great variety of middle eastern mythologies.#Like not in a trivia way but in a “feels like should be connected to other thing I know more about” and then it is#Idk. Magic is real and it's fucking w me on a personal level but not in a protagonist way just in a “everything is a slight against me” way#Unironically ppl who knew me in hs would probably recall me sitting in a spot and getting up for lunch#and the entire area bellow my chair would be just. A whole pile of feathers#Like if it was one time ok but. A good three or four times I can think of#And they're not even like. Pidgeon feathers. Sparkly white and lightly-golden fuckers are not pidgeon feathers afaik
