we cry together is so toxic relationship with dick grayson coded
ESPECIALLY VERSE 2!!!!! (I skipped some lines to fit the story and changed a few words to better fit dick's character </3) also this specific dick is gonna be known as "toxic relationship!dick grayson" (tags)
tw: arguments, toxic relationship, on again off again relationship vibes, allusions to dick cheating on reader with babs
It was inevitable that the two of you would get into another argument - about her. Barbara Gordon. The beautiful, fit, intelligent and witty daughter of the police commissioner James Gordon. Fuck, you were jealous of her. Of what she meant to Dick. You knew that they were a thing before the two of you got together, and yet almost every time he bailed on you it was to see Barbara.
"R/n I swear that there's nothing on between us. It's just work and friendship. I wouldn't do that to you." Dick tries to reason with you, albeit angrily.
"Oh really? Cus I know for a fact that you've cheated on someone with that redheaded hoe!" You hiss, your hands on the island bench as you stare into the guilty eyes of the man before you, your keys resting a few inches from you. He throws his hands up and shakes his head in disbelief. As if he didn't do exactly that to Kori.
"For God's sake, why are you making this so difficult? All we're doing is working. On. A. Case. What don't you understand about that?" Dick annunciate the last part in a slow, firm voice, reminiscent of the voice that one would use to talk to a misbehaving toddler.
"Nah, you're just a lil dick-ass slut that's tryna go big. Tryna make a name for yourself as Gotham's resident whore or what?" with a mirthless chuckle, you use your hands to gesture.
Dick's annoyingly perfect eyebrows furrow, and he smirks, "But you were suckin' this dick though.". This comment throws you off momentarily, but you quickly clap back.
"Well, shit, I shoulda sucked his." who's cock you were referring to? You don't know, and it didn't matter. What mattered right now was pissing Dick off to the point that he'd apologise and to promise to never see Barbara without anyone else present.
This wiped the smirk off of Dick's face immediately, the sudden change was hilarious. If you weren't so infuriated, you would've laughed in his stupid stunned face. "What? Fuckin' repeat what you said."
"I shoulda found a bigger dick." you make sure to punctuate each word with a crisp, satisfying clap, astounding your boyfriend even more. His expression quickly turns sour and bitter.
"What? You mad? Because you can go text that raggedy bitch and tell her you all that she got." You gloat, pointing at the phone in his left hand. With a huff, Dick quickly snatches up your car keys, moving towards the living room to inevitably get away from you. Fuck, you still need to get to work.
"Dick, give me my keys, Imma be late for work." with furrowed eyebrows you follow him, where he stops near the coffee table, arms crossed.
"Fuck your job, today's gonna be the day you walk to that bitch." he scowls, eyes narrowed as he glares at you, giving a quick glance at the clock. 7:58 AM.
You sigh inwardly, pinching your eyebrows, "I need to leave at 8, give me my keys, bro." and the devil that is Dick Grayson lets out a bark of laughter.
"On God, you aren't getting these keys." He raises the keys out of your reach when you make a grab for them, leaving you to accidentally swipe at his upper arm.
"Give me my fucking keys!" You yell, fruitlessly trying to reach for your keys again, to which Dick laughs at again.
"Ah, now you mad at me, I got you hollerin' for nothin'."
"I do the same when we fuckin'."
"Acting like that pussy ain't loose."
"I'd rather act like I'm cummin'."
"I'd rather fuck off that juice."
"I'd rather fuck on your brother."
Dick was about to retort back but he paused. Wait, what? "Bitch, you said you're gonna fuck who?" he hisses, an ugly frown adorning his face and his breath heavy. At this point his arms are folded again, your keys tucked into a large hand.
A bitter smirk on your face, you reply, "You heard me, bitch, it's nothing.". Your heart is racing, was that too far? Definitely, but if it makes him feel even a fraction of how you feel when he's with Babs, then it's worth it.
Dick carelessly chucks your car keys onto the coffee table behind him, stalking backing you into the couch as he stares you down. Fuck, you're in for it now. You're forced to sit, with how in your face he is and you cross your own arms. Two can play that game. You glower up at him, daring him to say or do something.
"That better be nothing. No one knows you better than I do. No one." he scowls, moving a hand to cup your cheek.

I don’t know anything about Yellowstone besides it’s yeehaw cowboys…but I’m gonna assume someone needs to do bookkeeping. And I just would love your thoughts on someone lucky enough to be doing the books along with keeping some cowboy’s cock nice and toasty warm.
write off
kayce dutton x f!reader
18+ — thigh riding, cockwarming, p in v
"Kayce," you whine, the pen nestled between your fingers clattering onto the surface of the kitchen table as the man beneath you shifts in the chair you're both seated in.
"Hmm?"
His chin rests in the gentle curve between your shoulder and neck, stubble scraping against your soft skin as he lifts his head to nose at the corner of your jaw.
-
Admittedly, when you ran into Beth Dutton in town and caught up with her over coffee a few months back, you hadn't expected to find a job less than a week after moving back to Montana—as a bookkeeper for the Yellowstone, nonetheless.
And you definitely hadn't expected your years-old, dormant attraction to her younger brother to come flaring back to life the moment you ran into him—literally—on the house's familiar, old covered porch.
You'd felt a little pathetic at the time, realizing just how quickly you'd taken stock of the empty expanse of skin where a wedding ring used to sit as Kayce reached a hand out to steady you, catching the papers that slipped from your arms in the process. But the embarrassment swiftly transformed into something else entirely, because despite John's gravelly warning to the gaggle of ranch hands and their wandering eyes not to bother you during your weekly visits (in which you were to sift through years worth of questionable paperwork and eye-watering numbers galore), one particular cowboy deemed himself exempt from his father's words.
Somewhere in between quietly shared coffees as you poured over the mess of books and impromptu trail rides when Kayce cajoled you into taking a break when the furrow between your brows had grown too deep, you found yourself working out of the foreman's cabin that he was living in, rather than the living room at the main house.
At first, it was for the quiet. No interruptions from people coming and going, bustling about.
But it became something else entirely when Kayce brushed a kiss across your cheek in the doorway as you clutched your car keys in your hand one night.
When you found yourself pressed up against a wall days later, his breath fanning across your lips before he leaned in to slot his mouth over yours.
When Ryan and Walker both tried their damndest to flirt with you while you were saddling up horses in the barn, thus delaying your plans to ride as Kayce cornered you in an empty stall after they left with a tick in his jaw. The annoyance had quickly faded as you kissed him though, his mouth hot on yours, hands tightly grasping your hips as you shamelessly rode his thigh until you were whimpering against his lips while you trembled with your release.
When your work was all but forgotten the following week after you playfully swiped his cowboy hat off of his head and put it on yours, paperwork sliding off of the coffee table and fluttering to the floor as Kayce fucked you right then and there on the couch.
-
So the position you find yourself in now has now become a regular occurrence—the skirt of your dress bunched up, panties pushed aside, Kayce's cock nestled thickly in your wet heat as he slides down one of the thin straps resting on your shoulders, lips feathering kisses along your shoulder blade you're in the middle of working.
You can't say you don't love the challenge of trying to pick your way through millions of dollars worth of transactions while your body blisters with periodic tremors of pleasure at the feeling of your cunt clenching down on Kayce's shaft as he patiently waits for you to finish.
Sometimes you're able to get it all done.
But other times—
"Baby..." he murmurs, hips rolling upward as his teeth graze the sensitive spot at the back of your neck.
"I'm almost done."
A sound of protest leaves his lips. "Finish it later."
"But—" You gasp slightly as he pulls downward on your hips while he presses deeper inside of you, the feeble argument dying in your throat.
"Please."
And all it takes is the subtle gesture of you pushing aside the paperwork for you find yourself being lifted up and bent over the table as Kayce nudges your thighs further apart before sinking right back into your dripping folds.

What about WTTW, one where reader is the one going west and Steve hitches a ride with her!
Steve Harrington x fem!reader
A WHAT IF? - WE TRIED THE WORLD 📍
It’s not like Steve would’ve gotten in a car with anyone.
Not a stranger, not someone he didn’t know at all. And well, he did know you - kinda. He knew you didn’t really hang out at the parties he went to but you were at the same one he was at last night. He’d saw you in the kitchen lit up by the Fourth of July fireworks, standing nursing something pink and fizzy in a plastic cup.
He saw you meet his gaze, your eyes trained on his and you didn’t stare when you noticed the ring of black and blue around one of his own. And maybe if it had been another night and he wasn’t as tired, he wasn’t as done, he might have spoken to you.
He might have swallowed a little more beer and some liquid courage and told you that he’d always thought you were real pretty.
The night had passed and Steve hadn’t spoken to you and you hadn’t spoken to him. You hadn’t spoken to anyone, actually.
But there you were, of all people, of all the strangers, sitting in a beat up jeep that was once sky blue and rusting around the edges. You were on the same road out of town that Steve had walked along, the early morning hour making you both pause at the sight of the other. The sky was still pink and lilac, a cotton candy mix in the clouds and the sun was making the world soft, making it easier to deal with.
The entire town was asleep and you were looking at Steve through the open window of your old car like he was the only other person in the world.
Steve dropped the rucksack he’d had slung over one shoulder, blinking at you like you were a dream, like you surely weren’t real. ‘Cause your hands were on your steering wheel and you had tears blurring your vision as you stared right back at him.
“Are you okay?” The boy finally asked, nervous and unsure because he was walking along this road because he was getting the fuck out of town and his dad had taken the keys to his car the night before. “D’you need help? Have you broken down or—?”
You surprised him by laughing, a sharp, unhappy sound that made tears spring to the corners of your eyes and before they could fall, you swiped at them furiously. Steve looked alarmed, his eyes flitting from your face to the duffel bag in the backseat, the haphazard way your clothes were spilling out from the open zip.
You shook your head, sniffing and then you shrugged. “Uh, I’m fine,” you told him, voice cracking and not really sounding fine at all. “The car’s fine. I’ve not, uh, I’ve not broken down.” You laughed again, no humour in the sound. “Not yet, anyway.”
Steve had a feeling you weren’t talking about your car at all.
“You goin’ somewhere?” Steve asked after a beat of silence. The sun was rising now, slow and sure and the wheat fields either side of the road were turning golden in the light. There was no wind, the summer day starting strong with a heat that lingered before the morning had even begun. Steve nodded at the bags again, brows raised. “You leaving?”
It was such a personal question, a loaded one, especially for one stranger to ask another. But you weren’t a stranger, not really, because Steve wouldn’t have stood on the side of the road out of town at five in morning talking to a stranger - would he?
Maybe you didn’t find the question invasive at all because you nodded, shoulders and jaw set strong with your hands back on the wheel and suddenly the road leaving Hawkins seemed a million miles long on foot.
Your gaze dropped and caught the bag at Steve’s feet, your brow furrowing as you did the math in your head. Your gaze found his, confused and then not. “You leaving too?”
Steve nodded.
And perhaps he was waiting on you asking him ‘why’ because he sucked in a breath that hurt his chest and raised his chin, as if ready to take another punch, another beating, another barrage of questions and cynicism - why on earth would the rich kid with the pool and the BMW want to leave home?
But you stared at the bruise around his eye, the one his father gave him and you nodded to the empty passanger seat beside you.
“You want a ride?”
Somehow, the day grew warmer after your question. The sky seemed higher, like the haze had lifted and the clouds weren’t as low, that lavender fuzz leaving with the early morning hour.
Steve didn’t ask where you were going. He didn’t ask why you were leaving. And you didn’t interrogate him either - that suited you both just fine. So he nodded and swallowed a little more roughly than he intended as he opened your trunk and dumped his rucksack beside yours. He sucked in a breath as he rounded the passenger side of the jeep and opened the door, overwhelmed by the smell of your perfume and the sunscreen you must’ve applied before leaving as he slid inside.
You were so much closer than he anticipated, so much closer than he ever remembered anyone else being in the front of a car. But your knee almost knocked his and your thighs were only separated by the janky shift stick that didn’t want to cooperate as you wrestled it into first gear.
You started driving, chin held higher than before, like you didn’t want to let Steve see you crumble but neither of you could hold in the sigh that you let out when you passed the sign that told you you were leaving town.

how they kissed you for the first time... ft. tecchou, kunikida, dazai, sigma
cw: none, mostly fluff :)
wc: 2.6k
He’d been watching your reactions as you ate. You stayed pleasant, a soft smile on your face as you tried the food he prepared for you. Vanilla ice cream mixed with mashed potatoes. It was disgusting to say the least. Tecchou had a thing about like colored foods. Apples with hot sauce, carrots and sherbert. It was a whole thing and frankly you found it kind of endearing. He was always excited for you to try new stuff he put together and not everything had been a complete disaster. You swallowed the mashed potatoes and ice cream and forced a smile. It was strange tasting.
“Wow, you’ve outdone yourself this time.” You said, reaching for another bite but Tecchou stops your hand.
“You don’t like it.” He said, gently pulling the bowl away from you.
“What? No, I like it.” You say but Tecchou just smiles warmly, shaking his head.
“I can tell, it’s okay, I'll try harder next time.” You bite your lip, feeling slightly guilty. Tecchou runs a hand through your hair, turning you to face him. Your stomach bottoms out at the touch. He was always very professional with you. You had a crush on him the moment you met him but didn’t think it would ever go anywhere. Tecchou leaned down and to your surprise pressed a soft kiss to your lips. You freeze, unsure this was really happening. When he pulls away you stare at him stunned.
“Tecchou?” You ask as he smiles.
“I’ll make you something else to eat.” He says, kissing you again.
You stamped another one of Kunikida’s reports, depositing it in the correct slot as you stretched. It’d been a long day. Dazai’s assistant had the week off so you were taking care of both boys and while Kunikida looks after you and keeps his reports spotless Dazai was the complete opposite. You had to fix nearly everyone that he wrote today. Which caused you to have to stay two hours later than usual. You pack up your things quietly, the only light in the office coming from the meeting room. You poke your head in there, Kunikida was sat near the white board working diligently.
“Hey I’m heading out.” You say as he looks up, confused slightly.
“I didn’t know you were still here.” He says, setting his pen down to give you his full attention. You sighed slightly.
“Had to fix Dazai’s reports.” He nods his head in understanding before glancing out the window. It was dark out.
“You’re not walking are you?” He asks as you nod your head.
“Too late for the bus, I’ll be okay.” You say but he shakes his head. Closing the folder he was working on.
“I’ll give you a ride.” He says as you shake your head.
“You don’t have to do that sir, really I’ll be alright.” You say but he stands and pays no attention to your protests.
“It’s fine dear, let’s go.” He says softly, grabbing his keys.
“Are you sure?” You ask as he nods his head.
The ride back to your house was comfortably quiet. It was softly raining outside, padding against the windshield as the wipers swiped back and forth. You shiver in your seat slightly as Kunikida noticed you move.
“Cold?” He asks and before you can answer he’s pulling off his jacket to give to you. You thank him and drape the jacket over your body. “I’ll be sure to talk to Dazai tomorrow so that you’re not stuck working later than need be.”
“I don’t mind.” You saw softly as Kunikida pushes his glasses up shaking his head.
“I’ll mind for you.” He says, you look over at him. His endless seriousness. You smile. He was always looking out for you. He pulls into your apartment complex as you gather up your things. He parks and switches off the car. You look at him quizzically. “I’ll walk you up.” He says, grabbing some of your things to carry for you. Walking up to your apartment you shake the rain from your hair.
“Thank you again, I promise next time if I work late I’ll have someone pick me up.”
“No need, it’s easier if I drive you.” He says as you shoot an amused look over your shoulder at him.
“Easier for you? You love the opposite direction.”
“Easier on my mind. To know your home safe.” He says and your heart melts in your chest. You remember the time the agency had been raided, you hadn’t gone in that day for some reason and when Kunikida thought you’d been hurt he about lost his mind. You felt terribly about it but it also made you feel warm. To know he cared so much. You just wished it was more but he was so professional he’d probably never make a move on you. Once at your door you unlock it and Kunikida pushes it open for you. Inside you set your stuff on the table.
“You want a coffee or something?” You ask.
“May I kiss you?” He asks and to be honest you didn’t even comprehend his question before mindlessly answering.
“Sure.” Because for some reason you thought he answered your question about coffee. A simple misunderstanding. Kunikida’s hand softly slides against your cheek as he pulls you into him and presses a kiss to your lips. You jolt, caught off guard as he pulls back. For a split second you two look at each other before you flushed violently.
“You just kissed me.” You say dumbfoundedly.
“I’m aware.” He says. “Was it okay?”
“Uhm, yea. Do you like me?” You ask, thoroughly confused. He looks at you like you were the crazy one.
“Very much, it’s affecting my focus.” He says. You stare at him as your mind processes the moment. Him kissing you, him affirming his feelings for you. You needed a longer kiss. You gently grabbed the front of his shirt.
“Kiss me like you mean it this time.” You say as though resting some hypothesis. Kunikida raises his brows. He reaches and takes off his glasses before turning back to you. He gently grasps your hip, pulling you into him, other hand sliding against your cheek. His lips meet yours and it seems your words awoke something in him because he kisses you hard this time.
Infuriating man. You were gone for a week on vacation and came back to your desk a mess. It seems Dazai took the liberty of making various origami animals out of your important documents. You practically growl in anger, pushing out of your chair. You stomp towards Kunikida’s assistant.
“Where’s Dazai?”
“He’s working a case but he should be back soon, is something the matter?” She asks as you grind your teeth together.
“Aside from working under a child, no, nothings the matter.” You growl spinning around as the other assistant giggles behind you.
You take care unraveling the documents and straightening them back out. Fifteen minutes pass before the front door opens and the man of the hour strolls inside. His eyes find yours and his entire face lights up.
“Darling! You’re finally back!” He says excitedly. You pointedly turn away from him, back to your desk. You hear him walk over. “Something the matter?”
“Yes! You!” You snap in a hushed whisper. “These documents are important and you made stupid cranes out of them.”
“Oh dear, relax. Here,” he reaches for something on his desk and hands it to you. You snatch it from him. “I made copies.” He says as you look through the perfectly straight papers. You sigh heavily and crumple up the other papers, tossing it at him.
“I had a great vacation and you’re ruining my first day back.” You say, turning away from him again.
“Geez, I made all those for you and you toss them away, be still my heart.” He croons.
“Be still your lips.” You retort. “I need quiet to go over your reports.”
“Let’s go get some coffee.”
“Did you not hear what I said?” You ask sharply as Dazai leans against your desk. Clearly craving your attention, he always craved your attention. Like some touch starved animal with no self control.
“I heard,” he says, cocking his head to look down at you. “But I want coffee and I need them to write the reports.”
“You haven’t even written them yet?” You jolt, turning to look at him. He pushes off your desk and dawdles towards the door. “Dazai? Please tell me you’re joking.” You call after him as he slips out into the hallway. You shove away from your desk and practically run after him.
He’s halfway down the hallway when you get to him. “You are going to be the death of me!” You call after him.
“Isn’t that my line, darling?” He says over his shoulder as you sigh.
“Kunikida is gonna yell at you for turning in your reports late.”
“Kunikida is too busy making goo goo eyes at his assistant to notice, it’s been like that the whole week.” He says as you fall into step with him. Mouthing ‘goo goo eyes’ in confusion.
“Too busy with her, how?” You ask as he looks down at you, raising a brow.
“You girls don’t talk?”
“She’s always leaving on time while you keep me here hours late, we don’t have much time to talk.” You sigh.
“At least I give you free rides when I keep you late.”
“You’re a terrible driver. I’d probably be safer walking.” You sigh as Dazai laughs, throwing an arm around your shoulder, pulling you into his body. He’s warm and smells like he’s already had a cup of coffee or two.
“I missed this.” He says as you let him hold you. You two had a very complicated relationship. It was like you were an old married couple. You spent most of your days together either gossiping or bickering there was no inbetween. You’d be lying if you said you didn’t miss him.
“I’m serious about those reports, Dazai, I have something I’m doing after work.”
“Oh? What’s that?”
“None of your business.” You snipe, pushing him off you. He chuckles, pushing his hands in his pockets.
“It’s a date isn’t it?” He asks as you snap your head towards him.
“Who told you?” You ask, narrowing your eyes.
“No one, dearest. You’re dressed up more than usual, not to mention your hair and make up are done differently which means you’re probably leaving from here to go to the date, am I right?” He asks with a shit eating grin. Of course he was right. He was always right. You swallow, sighing.
“Yes, okay I have a date.” You say as Dazai turns to look at you, he looks at you for a long moment. You huff. “What? Got some jokes? Out with them so we can get your coffee and get these reports done.”
“Do you like this guy?”
“It’s a blind date.”
“Ah.”
“Ah?”
“So you haven’t met him?“
“Not in person, we’ve texted.” You answer as Dazai stops walking. You turn to look at him as you stop walking as well. “What?”
“Do you like him?” He asks again.
“I don’t know yet.” You answer, motioning him to walk.
“Who set this up?”
“A friend.”
“A trusted friend?”
“Okay, why the twenty questions? Are you trying to be an ass?”
“Just curious.” He answers simply as you sigh heavily.
“Can you be curious and also walk?” You ask as Dazai chuckles, walking forwards and before you can react he’s pushing you against the wall and pressing his lips to yours with an urgent need. You gasp and his mouth swallows the sound. You should push him off but something warm is building in your stomach and you realize a little too quickly how much you want this. And when that realization dawns you push him back.
“What the hell?” You ask breathlessly. Dazai still has his hands on you, his mouth centimeters away from yours.
“You’re gone for a week,” he starts, voice thick with want and desire. “You answer none of my calls, you come back and suddenly you’re going on a date? With someone you don’t know. Someone that doesn’t know you?”
“Dazai-” he’s kissing you again, plucking your words right from your lips. He pulls back only for air moments later. “What is going on?”
“Don’t be mad but I have to tell you something.” He says as you pull back, able to see his face. “The reports are done already. I just wanted an excuse to get you out here so I could kiss you.”
“I hate you.” You say but the butterflies in your stomach tell a different story.
There was a man that sat in the corner of your cafe. He was very distinguished, sipped his tea quietly and read various books. It's been a few weeks since he’d been coming so one night you decided if he was going to be a regular you might as well introduce yourself. So grabbing some new pastries you cooked earlier in the day you walked over. The man slowly looked up at you and you gave him a kind smile.
“I don’t mean to interrupt your reading, I just wanted to give you some free baked goods, I hope you like apple fritters.” You say, setting the plate down on his table.
“Wow, uh, thank you that’s very kind.” He says, his voice soft as he sets his book down. “I’m Sigma, just moved here a month or so ago.” He says, reaching for the plate. You tell him your name and his cheeks pinken as you welcome him to the neighborhood. You two end up talking for a while, Sigma offering the set across from him for you to sit in. For the next few weeks Sigma stops by, you make him new pastries to try and you two end up talking for hours. One night you were closing up when you heard a soft knock on the front door, you turned and saw Sigma, drenched from the rain outside the front door. You gasped and ran over, unlocking the door and pulling him inside.
“I’m sorry, did I startle you?” Sigma asks as you shake your head.
“Course not! Did you forget something?” You ask and watch him nervously fumble with his fingers.
“Uh- yeah.” He says, running a hand through his wet hair.
“Yeah?” You ask, turning to the table he was sitting at but there was nothing near it. “What was it?” You ask over your shoulder and when Sigma didn’t answer you turned around. He looked so nervous, his cheeks turning red you wondered if he was sick or something. “You okay?” You ask, stepping towards him.
“Y-yeah, i’m fine.” He stutters nervously.
“Here, take a seat, I’ll fix you up a hot cup of coffee.” You say and he just nods his head, taking a seat. You walk into the kitchen, worried that maybe he was sick, maybe from the rain. You finish the coffee and walk it over to him, sliding it to him as you sit next to him.
“Thank you.” He says softly, blowing on the coffee before taking a small sip.
“Are you sure you're feeling okay?” You ask, crossing your legs.
“Uh- yeah, sorry, I didn’t mean to worry you.” He says, swallowing. He clears his throat, turning to face you. “I want to uh- to um to tell you that I- uh,” He chatters nervously as you listen, not interrupting him. “Uh- god this is-- hard.” He sighs, taking a big sip of his coffee. You give him an encouraging smile. He sets the cup down and seems sure of himself as he turns and just leans forwards kissing you quickly. You gasp, the kiss was mere milliseconds before he’s pulling back.
“I’m sorry, I’ve wanted to do that for weeks but I don’t really know what or how to do it and-” You cut him off by kissing him, showing him how it’s done. You take his face and pull him closer to you, his cheeks were cold, his hair wet as you ran a ahdn through it. His hands cautiously reach for you, softly pressing against your hip. You smile into the kiss and grab his hand, pulling it around your back to let him pull you even closer. When you two break for air he looks redder than before, even the tops of his ears were red. It makes you laugh. "What?" He asks as you shake your head.
"You're just cute, you know?" You ask and he gasps slightly, smiling softly.

Spending more time with Suguru after months of occasional contact was easier than you assumed it would be. You, usually accompanied by Reina, would go to his art gallery in the evenings with a cup of coffee for yourself and him. It seemed too similar to old times, but you always chose to ignore the video reel of memories that pressed play as soon as you opened the glass doors to the gallery of how you and Satoru went there for the mere purpose of annoying Suguru.
This was one of the days your elbows were resting against one of the thin marble tables in the basement—which, you had to admit, was crafted to perfection to be Suguru’s space in his gallery—and mindlessly scrolling through your phone while he worked on his laptop.
“Yo.” You heard him call from his desk just a few feet away from you. “I have to run out to pick up a late shipment. I’ll be back in like—twenty minutes? You can stay here, we'll meet up with Nanami once I get back.”
Nanami Kento was another new addition into your life, and you’d be lying if you said he wasn’t the most exciting one. It wasn’t that you hadn’t heard about him before—you had, occasionally from Satoru who was his acquaintance back when they were classmates—but he was fresh and new which made it a lot easier to open up to him. You, Kento, and Suguru had plans for dinner tonight with Reina, too, who backed out a few hours ago because her mother had arrived from her month-long trip.
“Yeah, I’ll be fine. Go ahead,” you replied, sending him a small smile over your shoulder as he gave you a short wave, gathered his car key, and went upstairs.
You just continued swiping through your phone, replying to some text messages from earlier this week that didn’t particularly mean much. You’d spent the past few days at home to only sleep, choosing to spend time with Reina, Suguru, and Nanami. You had been in touch with Shoko, too, but hadn’t found a time to meet up with her since she’d gone abroad for an internship for a couple months. Still, it had taken you a long time before you finally began talking to the friends you had that were connected to Satoru.
You heard the small ding of the sound the system made when the door before the basement unlocks through the keycard and furrowed your brows. It hadn’t even been ten minutes since Suguru left, there was no chance he was back. It was followed by heavy thumps of footsteps going down the stairs, and you only had to see the black lace-up shoes to know who it was.
You wanted to scramble for your things and hide underneath a table, but you didn’t have enough time because Satoru saw you the exact moment his face came into view when he stepped on the third-last step.
“O—Oh. I didn’t know you were here.”
You tried to clear your voice, to pretend that this situation was no big deal. Of course, running into your boyfriend of three years and fiance for a few more months who broke it off with you on a random Tuesday was, in one way or another, a big deal. “He left to get a shipment. I don’t think he’ll be back soon.”
For some reason, for some fucking reason he walked closer to you. You had said that Suguru would take a while because you wanted Satoru to take the hint and leave, not so he could step towards you—closer and closer till you could look into that sea in his eyes almost clearly— and take a seat three chairs down from you. No. You didn’t want him near you, especially not after the night on the balcony.
“Guess I’ll wait, then.” His voice was honey. It was so smooth, so soft that your ears would feel warm whenever he spoke.
“You can just call him.”
There was always something you believed when it came to Satoru ever since he began pursuing you before your relationship: he was persistent. He would leave little notes all over your room that you’d find in drawers days after they’d been placed, asking you to go on a date, to give him one chance. Some notes, you found days after you went on said date with him, and that was when you realized how he truly was persistent. It wasn’t just when it came to you, though. When you, Satoru, Suguru, and Shoko went to a bar with an indoor mini golf area, it had taken all three of you to manipulate the ball’s trajectory when he wasn’t looking just so he could pass the hardest route. It was two in the morning and you were ridden with sleep—it wasn’t your fault. When Satoru put his mind to something, he almost always achieved it.
“No point. I’ll just wait—I haven’t seen him in a while.” Just as you knew, Satoru wasn’t backing down.
You didn’t know his motives, and you’d tried really hard to not dig deep into his actions to try to find out. Satoru always haunted all your questions, he was like a ghost within your body constantly testing you, trying to get you to question why he did what he did.
You remembered that you and Satoru were once a blank page, not an entire book that had come to a tragic, unfulfilling end. You tried to erase every word, but they were written in pen and the traces always lingered. So, the only thing you could do was close the book and keep it somewhere far from your sight, but you couldn’t do that when he showed up in front of you. Not as a ghost but as a person, reminding you he was still here, real and moving, and he had pieces of you that you would never get back.
“I’m leaving,” you murmured, deciding that you had the choice to leave it all behind. To leave him all behind. He could haunt you from within, but you couldn’t let him materialize once again into your life.
“Y/N, stop,” he said, arms reaching out to you when you walked past him to go to the staircase but stopping as though he realized it was wrong.
And you replied, “What?” because even though you knew you shouldn’t, a part—a big part—of you was still left in his car where he asked you for the engagement ring. A part of you still couldn’t let him go entirely because you were never good at leaving things behind.
“I want to… apologize,” he began, running his fingers through his unkempt hair. He lifted his hand when you opened your mouth, beginning to say something, and he said, “You don’t have to say anything, okay? Please, just give me five—two minutes of your time. I just need to talk to you.”
And like he told you to, you didn’t say anything because if Satoru wanted to talk for five—two minutes, then you would let him.
“I got married,” he said, as though he was in a daze within his own mind. You scoffed, but didn’t say anything. “And that… that was fucked up. You didn’t deserve hearing about the engagement three months after I ended ours.”
Although it was all true, although you had relived all those moments inside your head, hearing Satoru say them made them real. This wasn’t Reina helping you get over him, this was the him you tried to get over for months. It was humiliating knowing he knew exactly what he did, though there was no doubt he didn’t before this. He knew better than anyone how you felt without talking to you because he was there, holding your hand when a stray tear left your eye as if he was still yours.
You still didn’t say anything.
“I met Hana a month before I ended it with you.” You weren’t sure you could hear this. If somebody held a knife to your chest at that moment, you probably would still stand still, completely silent because there were no words left in your mouth. “I didn’t intend on getting engaged with her, Y/N. I meant it when I said I felt I couldn’t be tied down but—” He paused, as if he didn’t want to continue.
And he didn’t continue, at least for a few minutes that felt like long, grueling hours.
“But she was new, and I hadn’t felt that… newness for so long. Not since I’d met you. And she said things, Y/N, that made me think we couldn’t get married, that we couldn’t work.” His eyes looked at your face, and it was equivalent to a thousand needles piercing your skin because he waited for you to say something, to agree? But you couldn’t, not even after he had broken you completely and left you on the side of the road like you meant nothing. Because in your stupid, twisted head, you could have worked. If he wanted.
He continued, taking your silence as a cue. “When I ended it with you, I—I didn’t want to. I swear. You deserved better, and I realized that I didn’t deserve to be anywhere near you. I couldn’t look at you without feeling guilty about the second-thoughts I was having because another girl made me rethink.”
This wasn’t what you expected today, was the only thought swirling through the tendrils of your mind.
“You don’t have to say you understand because I don’t either. I’m not sorry for ending it with you, Y/N, because you didn’t deserve me after all I did, after all I thought about us. But I am sorry for lying to you and, in a way, making our relationship seem meaningless because you probably thought I moved on too quickly.”
“You did,” you said, surprising yourself with the finality of your words. But you couldn’t take it back now that you had made yourself an almost-coherent member of this conversation.
“What?”
“You did move on, Gojo. Too quickly. I don’t think that, I know that and you do, too.”
He tugged his lower lip between his teeth, and you looked anywhere but at his downcast face. It was hard to admit it to him because you couldn’t stop your words, not when he was piling on brick after brick preparing to tumble it all down with you on the other side. If you stayed there any longer—
“I liked Hana then, but the marriage wasn’t what I expected.” You leaned back against the wall, placing some more distance between the two of you. Satoru seemed as though he was clutching at the flimsiest of straws to keep you there, to let you let him talk. “My father—he pushed for it and after losing you, I didn’t fight against it. I thought a marriage like this would hurt less than us getting married and—”
“And what?” you prompted.
“And having to end. I don’t know—I didn’t want us to fail, Y/N.”
You smiled wryly, understanding there was nothing more left for him to explain. “Okay.”
“Okay? That’s… it?”
“I didn’t question why you did what you did before, didn’t try to get answers. I’m not going to change after you’ve given me those answers I never asked for.” At that point, you were looking to find any words to make a swift exit, but you still remained rooted in your spot.
He sighed, fingers reaching up to pinch the bridge of his nose. “You’re saying you would rather not know?”
Of course, you wanted to know, but you had kept yourself from looking for answers. You knew that whatever ran below the surface of Satoru’s flimsy, no-good, unbelievable reason to end your engagement would hurt, and you were always good at taking what he said at face-value. Obviously, you were right but that didn’t grant you the satisfaction of a person whose beliefs were just proven right would.
“I’m saying I’m over it, Satoru.” Your voice was convincing enough. "And if you want a successful marriage, maybe you should tell your wife that you got involved with her while you were engaged to me. I'm not the only one who you should be apologizing to."
As soon as you turned your back towards him and headed for the stairs, the door on top clicked open and Suguru gave you a wide smile and wave when he saw you on the other end.
It was funny, real fucking funny, how on a random Tuesday, every question that had plagued your mind like a ceaseless tornado over almost two years was answered by the harbinger of pain himself. You had been so deeply lost in your own soul, and even a person drowning felt uneasy when pulled back up into the air. Satoru pulled you out and now, he stared at you as if he was a friend who offered you a single piece of a chip because you were starving while he ate an entire packet of it. You weren’t sure how he felt but, with the way he looked at you, you were sure that some immature, adolescent part of him that’s growth stunted in middle school truly believed he had done you right. By telling you the truth two years later.
You didn’t notice Suguru had walked down the steps and taken notice of Satoru and was now flashing his eyes between the two of you as if you were a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. You weren’t.
“Satoru, man. What the fuck are you doing here?” Suguru asked, and you should’ve made your way up the stairs and away from them but you stayed put. Your mind somersaulted, making excuses for yourself to yourself that you had plans with Suguru anyway, and you would leave with him once he makes Satoru leave.
“I just wanted to hang,” Satoru replied, shrugging his shoulders.
Suguru inhaled a deep breath and you could see the corners of his ears turning a dark, angry shade of red in annoyance as he stared his friend down. “Just leave for now, dude. I’ve got plans.”
You didn’t look at Satoru, but you felt his gaze on you as his footsteps reached closer to the stairs. You moved, not wanting to have any unnecessary contact with him. As he reached you, he halted his steps and looked at you and you could have buried yourself right then into a hole because you hated this.
“I know I’m not in the position to ask for anything but I want to tell you, again, that I really don’t want you to hate me. We don’t ever have to talk again, if you don’t want to, but please don’t hate me.”
You looked at his eyes, then stared at him for a moment longer. You laughed, it was bitter and held a certain form of venom you had never shown Satoru, at the sincerity in his features. “Say what you just said but slower, just so you can also comprehend how utterly senseless you sound.”
A hint of annoyance flashed across his features before he tamped it down and shook his head. He started heading up the stairs, not bidding Suguru or you a goodbye, and you sighed in relief.
“Y/N, I—” Suguru started, but you cut him off by pushing him by his shoulders in annoyance. “Woah, woah. What did I do?”
“You didn’t tell me!” you exclaimed, your voice finally coming back to you after whatever-that-was. “He cheated, Suguru! And you didn’t tell me.” You were saying your thoughts exactly as they leaped through your mind, barely comprehending that you had resorted to punching—albeit lightly—Suguru’s chest as you closed your eyes.
Everything was blank, and for a moment you were convinced you had lost a wire inside your brain throughout this entire ordeal.
“Hey, listen,” Suguru said, his arms reaching out to gently grab onto your shoulders. “You kept on saying you don’t wanna dig deeper and all that bullshit once the two of you broke up. And you were doing good, Y/N. You know how long it took you to start acting like yourself again? Four months. I didn’t want to ruin your process because you were healing.”
You gritted your teeth and said, “You had no right, Suguru. And you had no right to assume when I moved on because it didn’t take me just four months. If your—if your fiance cheated on you and didn’t tell you, I wouldn’t keep it from you.” Your voice trailed off as you stared into his eyes, and that was when you’d realized you truly couldn’t rely on him because he was Satoru’s friend first and yours second.
You had—in great fashion—run away from Suguru’s art gallery before he could even form a defense to your words. At that point, you were sure he wouldn’t be showing up to dinner with Nanami because that would not be a good moment for the three of you. You had dug for your phone and texted Nanami, telling him that you’ll be at the restaurant in ten minutes to which he’d instantly replied saying he’ll be there in five.
It didn’t take long for you to drive and reach the restaurant, which is why you were sitting across from Kento who looked more curious than anything. You tried to avoid his watchful gaze, though he didn’t say anything. That might have made it tenfold uncomfortable because he often came to his own conclusions, without asking any questions, and ran with them.
“Stop staring,” you muttered, fingers absentmindedly flipping through the menu. “And decide what you’re going to eat.”
“I already know,” he replied, unmoving with his stare.
“You and Geto fight?” he asked as soon as you’d both placed your order with the waiter. He raised a brow when you tilted your head, feigning confusion. “You can tell me, I don’t give a fuck.”
You laughed at the lightness of his words. “Why do you think we fought?”
He let out a chuckle, barely audible, and took his phone out. “Because he isn’t here? And because he texted me and said ‘sorry, can’t make it.’ And he said you two were coming together and his text was sent the same time you said you were on your way.”
“Okay, genius,” you drawl, resting your arms casually on the wooden table. “I guess it could be considered a fight,” you admitted.
His eyes flickered with the slightest hint of interest but it was gone the next second. “Oh, yeah? Lover’s quarrel?”
“God, shut up.”
“Don’t go thinking I’m God just yet,” he muttered, a smirk playing on his full lips.
You threw the napkin in front of you at his face which he, unfortunately, caught with his hand. “Me and Suguru aren’t even friends like that,” you said, almost believing it. Truth was, it was the heat of the moment and you wanted to clutch at every strand of dignity to make it seem like what Suguru did didn’t hurt, alongside with what you now knew Satoru did, too.
“Uh huh,” Kento sarcastically went along. “So what happened?”
You debated on whether or not you should tell him the entire story, knowing that he was friends with Suguru and sort-of knew Satoru. But there wasn’t anything wrong with confiding in a friend, right? You chose to give him bits and pieces from the day—about how Satoru, your ex-fiance wanted to talk and give you a whole rundown of how he pretty much fell in love with another girl while you were engaged—which slowly got you talking about the few months after the breakup and Satoru’s new engagement. By the time the two of you were about to order dessert, you had told him pretty much everything—not without being prompted though. As soon as the two of you moved on, he’d say something like that fucker’s so stupid. What did he say after that? It was almost like a conversation with Reina, but with Kento it felt different.
He’d look at you every so often while you talked, a glint present in his eye that usually wasn’t there. He’d run his fingers through his blond hair and slightly lift the direction of his eyes to meet your eye, and if you hadn’t been shit-talking your ex’s best friend, you would’ve felt the warmth radiating through your body under his gaze more.
“I meant it,” Kento started, chewing the last bit of the cake you forced him to order. “That Gojo kid is stupid for that shit.”
You laughed, biting your lip to contain the blush that crept up your cheeks. “Calm down, otherwise I might start to think you like me.”
He looked at you with a blank stare then tilted his head to the side, as if trying to read you. “You’re dumb.”
“What?”
“You actually think I’m not interested in you?” he asked, then laughed as if it was the most preposterous thing he had heard. You thought about it for a moment, and realized every attempt at flirting he made, you brushed off as a joke. That’s just Kento, you’d kept on saying to yourself. You’d ignored every attempt he made because the waters after a three-year-relationship were tumultuous, and it was never your first thought that Kento was truly interested everytime he made a comment slightly suggestive.
It took you a moment to realize you still had to reply to him, and in that moment you allowed yourself to feel the warmth underneath his gaze. “What?”
“I’m not saying I’m about to drop to one knee and propose or something. I’m just telling you there’s interest present.”
You weren’t surprised; only Kento could make something that people always shy away from saying seem so easy. You smiled. You weren’t sure if this could work, and you weren’t even sure if this conversation would ever lead to anything in the future, but it felt like a welcome recess from every other part of the random Tuesday. For a moment, it was easy to forget Satoru, Satoru’s betrayal, and Suguru’s behavior. Kento had come into your life during, what you’d consider, a limbo period where you were still navigating the almost-two-years-ago-breakup and its aftermath. He was fresh, and he was new. Perhaps that was the newness Satoru was talking about.
And maybe there was something innately weird about Kento, someone who was interested in you, to listen to you talk about your ex and then tell you he’s interested in you, but you’d always been a fan of the unexpected.
“Don’t go all quiet,” he murmured, twirling his glass of water around absentmindedly.
“There’s interest on my end, too.”

If you’re low-key obsessed then I am a gone😍 what about sunshine being awol the morning of a race 🤷🏼♀️
thank you for requesting!🫶🏽
.
“Have you seen Sunshine today?”
“No, sorry.”
“Hey, have you seen Sunshine this morning?”
“I haven’t, no.”
“Have you—”
“Daniel, I don’t think she’s here, mate,” Max muttered, placing a hand on his teammate’s shoulder in hopes that it would stop him from pacing around the garage, and it did. But it didn’t stop his mind from wandering and spinning on where the hell you could be.
Despite the separate hotel rooms booked by the team every race weekend, you would always find each other using one room. In fact, it became rarer for the two of you to not share a hotel room when you were in another country for the race weekend, and it just so happened that it was one of those weekends.
You had been out late the night before, out with some of the others in the engineering team as you perfected a few faults you had found in the cars during qualifying. You had messaged him not to wait up for you, to not stay up and risk his own sleep just for the sake of falling asleep with you. And as wrong as it felt, he had managed to fall asleep.
However, when he woke up in the morning, you weren’t there.
And when he arrived at the paddock, you weren’t there either.
Now, it was a few hours until lights out, you were nowhere to be seen and Daniel was losing his mind.
“Where is she?” Daniel muttered, his brows furrowed in concern as he tried sending you another message, only for it to come up as undelivered once again. “She should’ve been here by now.”
“Daniel—” Max started but his teammate was already pacing again.
“What if something happened to her?” he whispered, a sense of chilling dread washing over him as he looked up at Max. “What if something happened to her and she needs my help?”
Before Max could even reply, Daniel was jumping up to grab his keys for the car he drove to the paddock. He was ignoring all logic and rationality that was telling him he should stay in the paddock, that he needed to start getting ready for the race with the rest of the team. His only thought was you.
Max, despite knowing better, knew that Daniel was in no state to be alone right now. WIth the rest of the engineering team also clueless on your whereabouts, the Aussie’s concern only shot through the roof, and his friend didn’t think it would be the best idea for him to be behind the wheel just yet.
They ignored all the warnings other team members gave them and did their best to ignore the cameras following them towards the exit. Daniel had one track mind and it was completely focused on finding you and making sure you were safe. His fingers were itching to hold you close again and it was starting to consume him.
However, neither boy expected their search to end as close to the exit as it did.
“I am telling you, I am a part of the Red Bull team! Just go get someone and you’ll see.”
“Ma’am, we have to ask you to leave—”
“Oh my god!”
Daniel’s head whirled around at the familiar sound of your voice, his eyes eagerly seeking you. And he spotted you, on the other side of the turnstiles, a frown on your face as you argued back and forth with a few of the security guards at the entrance.
“You need a paddock pass—”
“And I usually have one,” you interrupted, already angsty and on edge, and feeling like a broken record wasn’t helping your mood. “Except for today. Now can you please let me in because they need me—”
“We can’t do that, ma’am.”
“Fuck off,” you groaned, running a hand over your face.
“Sunshine!”
Your eyes instantly found his and he couldn’t bite back the smile that spread across his face. His feet were moving before he could even think to move, his body too eager to be beside you that he didn’t even bother swiping his pass to get through the turnstiles, instead just jumping over the bars.
“Danny,” you almost sagged in relief the second his arms were around you.
“Is there a problem here?” Daniel asked, his eyes now on the security guards as he placed a hand protectively on the back of your head.
“Mr Ricciardo,” the security guard blanched. “No, it’s just she needs—”
“She’s with our team,” Max interrupted this time, giving the guard a pointed look. “A very important part of the team. So, the sooner you let her through, the more appreciative we will be.”
“Of course, sir.”
Daniel had yet to let you go as the three of you made your way through the paddock, heading straight towards the Red Bull garage before Christian or anyone else could notice you were gone. You didn’t mind though, the weight of his arm over your shoulder was something you found comfort in these days.
“Where were you?” Daniel asked eventually, his brows furrowed together in questioning. “I was worried sick.”
“It’s embarrassing,” you muttered, a scowl on your face which only amused the Dutchman.
“Well, now you have to tell us,” Max grinned, poking your side and only laughing when you batted his hand away.
“I forgot my keycard last night,” you told them with a heavy sigh. “I couldn’t get into the hotel room so I had to bunk with one of the other engineers. I tried to get a new card at reception this morning but they thought I was some crazy fan trying to get into Daniel Ricciardo’s hotel room. And I couldn’t even get an extra key to my room because I had no ID with me.”
Daniel snorted. “Why didn’t you just call me?”
“My phone died,” you replied sheepishly. “I had to borrow an extra polo from a colleague before trying to get to the paddock with no phone, no money and no paddock pass.”
“I’m surprised they didn’t arrest you on the spot,” Max teased.
You rolled your eyes. “Funny.”
“Well, if I have to find any crazed fan in my room, I’d be pretty chuffed if it was you,” Daniel joked as his arm around you tightened.
“Whatever,” you grumbled but there was a smile on your face. “I gotta take you everywhere with me, Ricciardo. Might even say you’re my crazy fan.”
“That wouldn’t be a lie,” he grinned down at you.

ׂׂૢ་༘࿐ the vip life part 2 🍸🌺🍹・。.✭
{summary: the morning after the party– a bit of context and introspection on Rafe and Sofia’s scenes in season 3 episode 8}
{gif credit: @svgargifs }
{part 1 here}
ׂׂૢ་༘࿐ Rafe blinked his eyes open slowly getting used to the bright yellow light that flooded the room. He turned in bed to see Sofia, still sleeping. She looked pretty…he thought– eyelashes fanning her cheeks, her hair brushing over her eyes. Rafe quickly pushed away the thought. She was just a a bartender, a pogue, a distraction– this meant nothing. ׂׂૢ་༘࿐
He climbed out of bed, careful not to wake her, and grabbed his khaki shorts, pulling them on as he sat on the edge of the mattress, before walking over to the opposite side of the room to find a shirt.
“Hey,” said a soft voice amidst the rustle of bedsheets. Rafe turned to see Sofia awake, looking up at him with a sleepy grin. Shit, he must’ve been too loud. He returned the gesture, smirking down at her as he held his shirt.
“Hey,” he replied, voice raspy with sleep. He watched her as she settled into the pillow with a stretch and a sigh, blinking up at him with glossy eyes.
“So is this place really all yours?” She asked, giving him a teasing smile. Rafe felt vindicated in his efforts of conquering. He found the cross. He sold the gold. He saved Tannyhill. This place really was all his.
“More like lord of the manor shit,” he joked with a smirk, an intoxicating hubris overcoming him. Here he was with his own money, his own mansion, a pretty girl in his bed– he was finally running the show. Sofia giggled, grabbing her phone and lying back in bed.
Rafe’s smile dropped, reading into her nonchalance as dismissal. He left the room to continue to bask in the glory of finally making it, heading to the balcony.
“Oh shit,” he laughed quietly to himself as he surveyed the empty glass bottles, knocked over cups and crushed beer cans, leaning over the balustrade to see the lawn covered in the same. His eyes gravitated to the couches, with its askew cushions and solo cup littered table. Then Barry’s words slowly tricked back into his consciousness.
It’s either you or your pops, Rafe…
Ward would take it all. Like he always did, bringing him down, time after time after time. The house. The gold. The money. If Ward was still in the picture then none of this stuff was truly his, not when there was somebody there waiting to swoop in and steal it all. A nauseating dread began to froth in his stomach.
“You’re the man Rafe,” yelled a guy walking across the lawn to get to the cars. Rafe’s ego swelled again, the heady rush of vainglory being injected into his bloodstream. He was the man. Not John B. Not Ward. Him. Rafe Cameron.
“Ayy it’s gonna stay that way too.” He shouted back with a pointed finger, a proclamation he was all too serious about.
⋆.ೃ࿔*:・
Sofia scrolled through her phone, still in bed. She supposed she needed to get up and go, not wanting to overstay Rafe’s invitation to sleep over. But his bed was just so comfortable. It definitely beat her double sized mattress with the creaky springs.
She heard someone enter the room and turned around in bed to see Rafe rifle through the pile of clothes looking for something. He didn’t glance her way, fixated on finding whatever it is he was he needed. She tried to make out what he’d put in his back pocket but couldn’t see, his body angled away from her line of sight.
“Hey are you going somewhere?” She asked, not wanting to just be in his house by herself.
Rafe’s eyes met hers then glazed over the room, until he spotted his keys on the table beside her. Swiping them quickly her shuffled about awkwardly, loosing the charm and charisma he had only moments before. “Uh yeah– I’ve got some business to take care off but you can hang out here. I’ll– I’ll be back.” And then we was just gone.
Sofia sat up in bed, her eyes lingering on the space he was just in. That was strange…she wondered, thinking about what business needed to be sorted out this early on a Sunday?
Sofia slipped out the sheets, padding to the bathroom, her feet cold against the hardwood floors. She washed her face and used some of his mouthwash to get the taste of alcohol off her tongue. She stood for a while, examining herself in the reflection. Water droplets beaded her face and Rafe’s shirt hung off her small frame loosely. What was she doing here? This wasn’t like her. Waking up in a strangers bed, wearing his shirt.
Exiting the en-suite, she closed the bedroom door and pulled the top off over her head, quickly pulling on her clothes and tying up the strings to her bikini and cover up. She slipped on her sandals and left, wandering the empty hallways of Tannyhill silently. As she walked down the spiral staircase she scanned the photographs on the wall. In the pictures it looked like Rafe had a happy family. Two sisters. A mom and dad. She wondered where they all were? This great big mansion, that was all his, filled with images of unfamiliar faces, an echoing memory of a long forgotten family. The thought sent chills down Sofia’s spine, suddenly overcome with the notion that the house was haunted. She pattered down the stairs in a rush, heading out the door.
She then got in the car and drove away, Tannyhill getting smaller and smaller in the rearview mirror, until it disappeared all together.
⋆.ೃ࿔*:・
What you’re asking me right now, is something that once it’s done, cannot be undone. I’m talking about your family, talking about your pops, talking about your blood.
And blood complicates things.
Barry’s words circled around his head. Over and over again. He couldn’t take it any more. Rafe pulled out his phone and clicked on Sofia’s contact.
R: Hey
He sat in the study tapping his knuckles against his the table as he waited for a reply. When he got home, he half expected Sofia to still be there, surprised that her and her belongings were no where to be found. Now it was nearing susnset, and he sat in Tannyhill alone, the gravity of the deal he’d just made never quite computing in his brain.
It took Sofia too long to respond for his liking.
S: hi
what’s up?
Rafe wanted her to come over so he could forget. Like he did last night. He had fun– it was nice to just to focus on another feeling other than hurt, anger or sadness. And Sofia was addictive. The way she’d smile up at him with lidded eyes, laugh at whatever stupid joke he came up with– he craved for that again. He knew she was meant to be one time thing, but he caved. He didn’t care if it would complicate things— everything else was already so fucked, it didn’t really matter.
R: You wanna come over?
S: can’t, at work
R: where?
S: at the country club? why?
R: I can wait until your shift is over if you like?
S: it’s up to you
R: I’ll be there in 10
S: k i’m working at the bar
R: Cool, see you soon
She didn’t sound too enthused. Rafe prickled with nerves, gnawing at his nail. Did she not enjoy last night? Was he being too clingy? Rafe pushed away his insecurities. They didn’t have to fuck again– he just wanted to see her, just so he could temporarily forget about all the shit with Ward and pretend like he was a normal guy visiting his girl at work. Rafe grabbed his car keys and headed off, quickly reaching the country club.
He handed his keys to the valet and waltzed into the place, a cool air of confidence radiating off of him. He already felt better as the mask of the carefree socialite settled over his skin.
Rafe spotted her working at the bar and felt a genuine smile grace his lips. She really was gorgeous. The light of the sunset hit her, casting Sofia in a shimmery glow, her body moving quickly and lithely, slotting cash in the register and organising the glasses on the shelves.
Reaching the bar, Rafe brought his elbows up on to the counter and leaned in close towards her.
She glanced up at him with a surprised look, her face quickly melting into a smile when she felt his presence.
A bartender. A pogue. A distraction…he repeated to himself, ignoring the way his heartbeat wavered whenever she’d smile at him like that
“Hello Miss Sofia,” he greeted teasingly with the nickname he gave her.
Rafe returned her grin, wanting to give her a reason to smile again, just so he could forget about his shit for a little longer.

Okay but can you do 25) that’s where all my clothes went but Steve saying it about his reader the girlfriend, and his and your best friend Robin??
Yes because I absolutely respect also loving brotp stobin with /reader for one or both of them haha, I love that dynamic! And absolutely a hc of my own too that Robin occasionally steals Steve’s clothes, as well as his partner doing so lmao
Prompt: 25) that’s where all my clothes went
Steve Harrington x reader, Robin Buckley & reader
You walked into family video at around midday, knowing Steve and Robin’s shift would be starting any minute.
When you entered the store only Robin was there, who lit up as soon as she saw it was only you, bouncing towards you before she encased you in a hug, one you eagerly returned as you took in the perfume you got her for her birthday.
“Thank God it’s you. The second I put my badge on and a customer walks in, I feel like my whole day is cursed.” Robin laughed into your shoulder, before pulling back with a smile, both of you still holding onto’s each other’s arms.
“Well thank God then. Can’t have your day being cursed. You’re riding in the same car as me when Steve takes us to the movie theatre later, I don’t wanna be collateral damage.” You joke, Robin lightly brushing your shoulder as she backed up a step closer to the tape rack. “And you don’t want me to be cursed?”
“Hmm, that too.” You agree, both of you laughing through your noses, before you sighed at the tapes that were definitely on the wrong shelves. A Nightmare On Elm Street was definitely not ‘kindergarten & under friendly!’
It only took you a second however, now you’d pulled away from Robin, to notice the dark blue shirt she was wearing, accompanied by some dangly bracelets and a black pair of ripped jeans. “Is that’s Steve’s shirt? Or is another one you both accidentally bought?” You asked good naturedly, remembering the time they both showed up to Nancy’s party in the same sports crop top.
Robin sighed, pinching the material and pulling it out from her stomach. “Yeah, I didn’t like any of my clean clothes today.”
You both nodded together, knowing the feeling.
It was a normal thing for both of you to steal from Steve’s wardrobe. You were both over at his all the time, sometimes hanging out there when Steve wasn’t even in.
One day Steve had left bed early to drive Dustin somewhere, but you were still lounging about in his sheets. You heard someone using the front door key, and Robin bounded into the bedroom, only giving you a slightly too ealry in the morning but still cheery “Oh hey!” as you tried to at least put a bra on under the sheets.
Robin had been swiping all of Steve’s jackets on a rack to the side one by one, and when you had last nights bra and Steve’s basketball shorts on, you joined her side, asking “anything in particular you’re looking for?”
“Yeah. His brown jacket, you know the fake leather one? I’ve just got a new bunch of shit and I need to see if it fits these tops that pretty much will only go with that.”
You found it in a small pile and handed it to Robin, used to her raiding Steve’s closet before, and she knew you did the exact same thing. Occasionally with Steve in the room, where you both promised to give it back. Although now, you knew you weren’t the only one to use Steve’s gifted house keys to your advantage.
Now though, in family video, you took in the top Robin was wearing, feeling the material by stroking the sleeves on her bicep, and nodding knowing the answer to your internal question.
“Oh yeah. I wore that one yesterday.” You kept nodding. It was a good shirt. Very fashionable, and unisex. Not that shirts had genders.
Robin blinked, although wasn’t really surprised, looking down at it “Oh really?” She lifted the collar, giving it a small sniff test. “Well at least you smell good. It was on his clean pile.”
“Yeah I put it there last night, I only wore it for a couple of hours when we went shopping.”
“Probably for more clothes. Poor Steve.” Robin pulled a dramatic face at you, woeing for him, and you both shared another laugh. Helping Robin in her duties as you took three copies of Friday The 13th, and four of The Exorcist and helped move it to the horror section.
“I mean, I’m wearing his top and his pants today. Not my fault I can convince him to get pants that comfortably fit both of us.” You gestured down to your outfit, Robin giving it a quick applause in appreciation.
“Yeah” Robin started “Have you noticed he wears this one to work a lot?” She nodded down to ‘her’ shirt, flattening it with a brush of her hand. You weren’t even surprised at how well Steve’s clothes fit you or Robin anymore sometimes. Almost like he wanted you both to steal them, you could argue.
“I think he thinks this one is more ‘professional’ or something.” Robin gave air quotes at the word, rolling her eyes and smiling at you before returning to the task at hand.
You pull it a little from her waist, Robin of course doesn’t care, as you rub the hem of it between your fingers. It really did seem like a good material. “Well do you think he was gonna wear it today?” You asked, only for Robin to give an uncaring shrug at you.
That’s when Steve ran through the door, a good twelve minutes late to his shift.
Luckily his face went from panic and trying to keep the door from flying off its hinges, to a relaxed puff of air flowing from his cheeks, as he realised it was only you and Robin in the store, no Keith.
“Well thank God for that.”
“God’s getting a lot of thanks today.” Robin noted, leaving the tapes for Steve to sort as she went to lean against the counter. There was a really good spot the sun shone through at midday, and Robin rolled her head and relaxed into it like a cat.
“Yeah, that’s probably why so many people are avoiding curses.” You noted as you walked up to Steve.
“Amen!” Robin called with a finger out to you, eyes still closed, as you came and bundled Steve’s sweater up in your hands, leaning over to give him a kiss on the cheek.
“What?” Steve said quietly, a lost look in his puppy dog eyes as he looked between his girlfriend and his best friend.
You and Robin both just chuckled, and you used his sweater to pull him in for another kiss. One Steve smiled against, even if he wasn’t quite in on your antics of the day. Giving just a quiet and happy moan, simply because he was happy to be giving you your first kiss of the day.
It was only when you leaned back, Steve still smiling hooded at you, slightly licking his lips, that you looked at the darker colour between your hands. And as you took a step back, still holding him like he owed you money, you were just a tad surprised. “Is that my sweater?”
Even Robin looked up now, peering her head aorund to catch a glimpse.
“Yeah babe. I’m sorry, I just couldn’t find anything work suitable left for today.” Steve relayed, his hand rubbing the back of your neck, still there from when he’d been kissing you. You could tell it was from a drawer you left at Steve’s house, for when you didn’t pack for an unplanned ‘sleepover’.
Steve still felt comfortable in it though at least. Even if he was late with the chaos of tearing his bedroom apart. “I swear my laundry machine eats my-“
Steve stopped as you gestured smiling apologetically down at your shirt... and at your pants. And when you looked over at Robin, Steve followed your trail. Watching her cheerily wave, before he realised what she was wearing too.
He fell back on his feet, an amused smile on his face. “Oh. That’s where all my clothes went.” He bemused, unable to even sound chiding.
And even though you kissed his cheek in ‘apology’, you knew he loved the easy going and close friendships and relationships he had with you and Robin. And the others, because Eddie definitely stole that sports crop top from Steve after that party, because you remember chucking it out a window at him. You knew Steve loved his little family, even if you punked him sometimes like this.
“Well I’m eventually gonna give it back.” You rolled your eyes dramatically, pulling on ‘his’ sweater sweetly, as Robin called out “I’m not!”
Steve only wrapped his arm around your neck, kissing the shell of your ear. “It’s fine. It looks better on you than it does me. Although Robin could use a little help.”
“Dingus!” Robin called out, letting her middle finger stretch far.
Steve only retuned his half heartedly, before shaking his head at both of you. Getting his attention drawn back as your fingers graced his toned chest. “Just don’t get any badge holes in it Stevie. They look awful in that sweater.”

What Comes After
blacked out. wrote 1.7k fic for @bcolfanfic's Young vets AU.
Fanfic/Sequel of
Tw for aftermath of a suicide attempt and all that may entail
Nobody tells you what to do in the hours after your husband tries to take his life. Nobody says you’re going to be angry.
Nobody tells Gale how much he’ll have to pay for gas to the only Hospital for miles, seven hours tailing the red ominous lights of an ambulance there seven hours back all alone for the first time in a long while (one-hundred-twenty-seven dollars and fifty-three cents).
There’s nobody to tell him how to smile at his husband as he’s led away in a stunned daze. Does he smile at all? Small and painful and fake?
And who can he ask what to do as he comes home to a now empty home, dawn well past finished and a hole the size of a man's life in the wall. A hole, no bigger than a nickel and just perfectly at eye level. The difference between a happy ending and a tragedy; the scales tipped kindly in his favor this time.
You never wrestle for a gun. That’s the easiest way to get your own damn self shot.
A coin flip. Heads for John, Tails for Gale.
“Guess the quarter got stuck in a crack.” he mutters. He knows his thought patterns aren’t quite clear, confused and weighed down by exhaustion and shock.
Somewhere an animal is in pain. It gasps raggedly; sharp and raw. Someone should put that animal out of its misery, nothing deserved to be driven to sounds like that. Gale knows he is that animal. He swipes at his suddenly-tear soaked cheeks with a rough palm and sits down on the floor hard.
His phone is in his hand, it’s first instinct to want to call John, hear his teasing voice (it hadn’t been teasing in a long time Gale Cleven don’t you lie). Bucky wouldn’t answer. He knew it would be a day or two before he would get an update on his husband. Not until observation was over, until paperwork was filed and permission was given. The nurse had explained it all through the ringing in Gale’s ears.
“Curt.” Buck says, shocked by the steadiness in his voice even as more tears trail their acidic way down his face.
“Hey Buck, y’just caught me on break what’s up?” The familiar voice, clipping all it’s ‘T’s away to nothingness devastates Gale. He lets out a sob with all the violence of vomiting.
“Gale?”
“Ah fuck Curt, John had a gun.” Gale moans, covering his eyes and trying to breathe. The gun, now tossed carelessly on their bed like a stray shirt.
Nobody tells him how to inform their friends of what has happened.
“What.” Curts voice is so strangled, so tiny that Gale realizes his fatal error immediately.
“He’s okay. He’s okay Curt the gun- it went into the wall. He’s at a hospital right now. He’s where he needs to be.”
Gale had heard that phrase a lot; spoken by people trying to reassure themselves that their loved ones would come home whole and healed. Now he was one of those people whispering the phrase with false confidence.
John needed to be Home.
Curt devolves into a mess of swearing, punctuated with a passionate “Fffffucking VA!”
“I woke up and he wasn’t next to me. I thought maybe he had gotten out somehow, past the alarms. I’d already gotten my gun out of the house Curt I didn’t think-”
There's muffled voices on the other line, Curt talking to someone else, “- No I’m sick can’t you see? Gotta go Sean sorry. Fuck the client pardon my fucking french I gotta family emergency.” A car door slams, the sound of keys in an ignition. “You didn’t know Buck. It’s not your fault you did exactly what ya should’ve.”
“He had the gun to his chin,” Gale says numbly.
Is there anyone to tell him how to get that single heart-stopping image out from behind his eyelids? He saw it every time he closed his eyes.
“Fuck, Gale.” Curt exhales. “He’s okay?” so vulnerable, so sad, needing to double check just in case.
“He’s in fucking psych ward. I can’t even call him.”
“Yeah dumb question.” A pause where Gale just tries to breathe, looks up at that hole in the wall. It could be a woodpecker's hole on any tree outside. It was in his home and smelled faintly of gunpowder and terror. “I’m looking up plane tickets right now.”
“Y’don’t have t-”
“G’fuck yourself, I’m coming.”
Gale has no strength to argue, he’s got nothing left, really.
“I almost lost him, Curt.”
“But you didn’t.” Curt still sounds stressed and Gale feels a twinge of guilt for ruining the guy's day just because he wasn’t able to help his own partner. “You did everything right. And you’re going to go to bed, then you’re going to wake up and I’mma be there. And we’ll deal with things together.”
“Together,” he echoes.
“Get some sleep Buck. I’ll send you a text when my flight lands.” Curt orders before hanging up.
The thought of going into the bedroom; to the bed he shared with John. To have to see that fucking gun again.
Nobody tells him how to handle that.
Gale falls asleep on the couch instead.
-*~*-
When he awakes it’s night again and he feels such a violent sense of deja-vu that he has to do a walk-through of the whole house just to make sure that saving John hadn’t actually been a dream. That his body wasn’t lying somewhere with horrifying finality.
Nobody tells you that maybe your husband's trauma-based decisions might cause a little trauma themselves.
Even though he knows there will be nothing - John's phone kept safely in a plastic bag along with the rest of his personal effects- Gale checks their messages first. Scans them for any sign, any slip that he may have missed that told him what Bucky was planning. ‘Love You’s’ and ‘Be Home Soons’ and ‘Get There Safes’. Bucky had been struggling, but he hadn’t seemed quite that bad yet.
Or maybe Gale just hadn’t wanted to see it.
There’s a text from Curt showing his seven hour direct flight was only a half hour from landing.
Exhaustion still claws at Gale as he shuffles out to the truck, clothes rumbled and sweaty from sleep, from stress; from wrestling a fucking firearm from a man determined to end his life and Gale’s in the same action. The truck is too silent. John usually sat to his right, hand on his thigh or the back of his neck; always touching Gale in a way the blonde allowed no other man to do.
He has to pull over to stop himself from hyperventilating.
When he pulls into the pick-up zone at the Airport it’s nearly deserted aside from a short familiar man in a windbreaker and military boots.
Curt takes one look at his pale face and walks around the nose of the car to the driver's side.
“Budge over.” He says, opening the door and waving an impatient hand at Gale.
Gale didn’t think he could, felt like his hands were glued to the smooth leather of the wheel. Just twenty-four hours ago he’d driven Bucky to the hospital in this car. He wondered at how quickly he’d gone from seeing the next steps so clearly in front of him to having to remember how to even speak. He was a puppet, his strings cut the moment John had entered the doors of the hospital. Through security guard checkpoints and metal detectors and locked doors. It was like being back in the desert with that level of protective diligence; or perhaps a prison
That can’t be very good for Bucky.
Nobody told him it might have been a good idea to inform the hospital why sometimes the glint of metal in the light made John do a double take.
When Gale still hasn’t moved, Curt lets out a tender sigh and unclips Gale’s seatbelt for him like the other man is a child.
“Come on Cleven, scoot on down the line.” He says gently, gives him a light push.
This is enough for him to move his wooden limbs, shuffle awkwardly over the center console and collapse gracelessly into the passenger seat. Curt hauls himself into the truck with an awkward grunt. He takes a second to maneuver his leg, move the seat upwards and the wheel down, and adjust the mirrors.
Gale sits there, opening and closing his hands. John had sat here last. Cried here not because he was alive and safe like Gale had cried; but for the opposite.
Nobody told him how to sit in a puddle of his husband’s shed grief.
“Here,” Curt tosses his phone into Gales lap. “Text Kenny for me will ya? Tell him I got y- got here safe”
“Does he know?”
Curt pulls out of the airport, opens a window and leans his arm out as if he could air out the stuffy melancholy of the truck. “He asked where I was going. I didn’t-”
“John’s gonna hate it.” Gale mumbles “He won’t want anyone to know.”
“Yeah, well, if he didn’t want people to know, maybe he shoulda woken you up. Shoulda called m-” Curt cuts himself off, presses sturdy boxer’s fingers to his mouth. “Fucking VA.” he curses again.
“Fucking VA.” Gale agrees. And it feels a little good.
-*~*-
When they arrive back at the house It’s Curt that leads them inside. Curt, who picks up the gun, carefully disassembles it and puts it safely in the lock-box to be gotten rid of later. Curt who makes them a simple dinner of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
They stand at the counter, eating silently. Gale feels wired and too awake, his sleep schedule beyond to fucked.
He’d have to call out of work tomorrow. Maybe take a short leave. How could he even pretend to be okay for the kids?
“This is- In here right?” Curt’s eyes are jumping around the dark room, searching searching.
Nobody tells you the shame that curls in one's belly when you have to show your best friend the bullet hole that nearly ruined all their lives.
Curt puts his hands on his hips, bread crumbs stuck to the corner of his mouth and brow furrowed. Neither of them say much for a long time. Curt surveying and Gale staring a little blankly and replaying the sound of the gunshot over and over in his head.
“Well,” Curt finally drawls, “That’s an easy fix. You got any spackle?” he turns and smiles at Gale, crooked and reassuring,
Gale thinks he’d like to tell someone about this part. The part where people show up for you.

Billy Washington idea: Soft-ish Billy being upset after getting himself into trouble again. Like, he just can't stop being a flop even when he tries to. Reader comforts him in the best and smuttiest way she can. Maybe he shows up unexpectedly at her place because he needs someone, even though he won't admit it? Idk, delinquent flop men get me going sometimes.
Title: Only worth living if somebody is loving you - part of the It's All For You series but can be read as standalone
Pairing: Billy Washington x female reader
Summary: Billy has been fired and feels worthless. But you love him; he's everything to you. So you show him how much worth he has. Established relationship, handjob, fingering, pet names, mild daddy kink, mild dirty talk.
Word count: 3.1k
Rating: E
Notes: thank you so much for the prompt! This was a lot of fun to write when I am supposed to be working!
You're not meant to have your phone on at work, but you get away with it where you can. You're in the basement kitchen today, anyway, so no customers will see. Behind the shoddy table set up as a makeshift barista bar, you fill tray after tray of tea and coffee - Blue Lady, Darjeeling, Sumatran, Colombian, jasmine, they all roll into one in the end. So feeling your phone vibrate in your apron pocket is a delightful distraction.
You ignore the tickets coming through behind you, and get one of the dish boys to cover you. "What? I need a fag," you reply over your shoulder when he protests. You smile giddily at your phone and swipe to answer. "Hey, Billy."
He doesn't sound happy on the other end. "Hey."
You slink into the alley and crouch close to the floor, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it. "What's up?"
"You got a sec?"
There's something in his voice that worries you. "Yeah. Yeah, I do. Tell me."
He sighs. You hear him blare his horn as he drives, followed by a string of profanities. "Fucking wanker! Twat!"
You take a long drag. "You on a run?" He's been a delivery driver for a delivery service for a few months now. It's shitty money and shitty conditions, but it's all he could get after being fired from his last job. Hitting a customer. The customer swung for him first, but it was Billy who landed the first successful punch.
"No. Driving home."
"Oh?"
"Don't fucking start."
You force yourself to smile against your phone. Your voice is soft. "Hey. I'm not starting anything. You called me."
He sighs again. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I can't... I can't keep doing this."
"Doing what?"
"They sacked me."
"Why?" you ask, closing your eyes and wincing.
Billy's voice is clipped. "Didn't meet their targets."
"Those targets are bullshit," you snap defensively. Everything he's told you about his job has you seeing red - they take advantage and bleed him dry. "You don't need that place."
"I need the pay check."
"We'll figure it out. Where you going now?"
He pauses. You hear his indicator, and the rev of his ancient car engine as he moves between gears. "Your parent still away?"
You watch as the smoke you blow out rises up the alley and into the sky. "Yeah. Key's in the plant pot. I finish in an hour. Make yourself at home."
Billy's car is parked lazily on your street, and you feel butterflies in your stomach. It's been a few years since you got together, but adrenaline still runs through you at the mere thought of being near him. He's got you addicted, flaws and all. It made you want to run all the way home after your shift ended, but you don't think you quite have the stamina for a three-mile sprint.
"Hey, Billy," you call as you let yourself into the home you still share with your parents. London prices are impossible - you'll probably live with them until they die
He grunts in response, and you follow the noise into the living room. He's sat on the sofa facing away from you, head bent, and you go to him. You drop your bag and kick off your shoes and wrap your arms around him from behind. "Hey, daddy."
He winces. "Don't call me that."
"Why not?" you whisper against his ear. "You usually like it."
Billy pulls out of your arms and shifts on the sofa. "Yeah, well, I don't right now."
"Sorry." You go to the kitchen and make two cups of tea - milk and sugar for you, no sugar for him. None of the loose-leaf shit you serve at work, just proper Yorkshire bags. He follows you quietly, and thanks you when you hand him his. "How are you feeling?"
He shrugs, still avoiding your gaze.
"Billy." Your voice is soft. The hard pain in his face hurts to see.
He licks his lips and takes a sip. It's scalding, and he hisses quietly. You put your cup down to cool, and go to him. Your hands find their place on his narrow hips, and you look up at him. He's so tall; it makes you feel so safe. His hair is getting long, and it falls over his eyes.
After a long moment, he finally meets your gaze. "I really tried with this one."
You nod. "I know."
"I promise."
"I know."
"Why are you with me?" he asks softly. When he tries to pull away, you hold him close. "I'm not... God, you deserve better than this."
"No, Billy, no." One hand runs to the small of his back and the other finds his cheek to guide his gaze back to you. "You're worth so much more than a shitty job."
"I'm a failure."
"No, you're not," you soothe. "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. Don't let some stupid job define you."
"You deserve so much more than me."
You reach up on your toes and kiss his lips firmly. He meets your kiss with a quiet sigh. "You're all I've ever wanted and needed. Don't worry about the job."
"I'm not worthy of you."
Taking his hand, you lead him back to the living room. You both bring your cups with you and set them on the coffee table. You push him to sit on the sofa, and when you straddle him, it's satisfying how naturally his grasp finds your backside. But still, he drops his head to your shoulder in defeat. You stroke his hair and gently massage his scalp, just as he likes.
"You want me to tell you how much I love you?" you murmur.
He swallows thickly. He shakes his head.
"You want me to show you? You want me to help you forget everything else?"
He doesn't react, except to pull you tighter. You smile slightly, and kiss his hair. Sex is something that brings you closer than anything else. It's the place where Billy feels most in control, where he can take care of you and call the shots and do everything to make you feel good. You accidentally called him daddy once when he was fucking you, and that was the day your dynamic changed. He leaned into the nickname proudly, and he wears it like a secret badge of honour. He does everything to earn it, too. He takes care of you, dominates you like you need. It's the only time when he feels like a real man. He loves you so much, he forgets what hating himself feels like.
The world is cruel to him, but you never are. You're just obsessed with him.
"You want me to take care of you?" you whisper against his ear. Billy buries his face against your chest, and gently bites through your shirt. It smells of coffee and tea and kitchen grease. He nods again.
"Alright. I can do that." You tilt up his chin and kiss him. This time, it's deeper. When you part your lips, he mirrors you and welcomes your tongue into his mouth. Pulling back for a moment, you look into his piercing blue eyes. "Can you do something for me?"
He nods.
You smile softly. "Can you undo my shirt for me, please?"
Billy's eyes are wide, and he nods again. Long fingers complete the task, and your white work shirt falls open. Underneath is a practical bra, white and cotton and far from sexy. Still, just the sensation of him opening your shirt makes your nipples hard, and that's enough for him. "Thank you," you say, affection in your voice. "Can you touch me?"
He's putty in your hands for once. This is new territory for you, being so in control. Usually, he's the one gently telling you what to do, his voice sugar and honey as his requests and commands turn from this kind of sweetness into depravity. You're trying to emulate him now, to give him what he might need.
He runs his knuckles over your breasts through the fabric, up and down he goes, catching your hard nipples each time. Half the time you're with him, it feels like the first time. Not in a bad way, just the excitement and anticipation, and how much you fucking need him. Just this touch has you feeling your heartbeat in your cunt.
"Lean back, baby," you tell him. You haven't called him that before. It's the pet name he calls you when he's fucking you to the point of tears, and so you're unsure. He shakes his head slightly. "Lean back, Billy." That, he obeys, and that makes you smile. "Good. Can you take off your shirt for me, too?"
Keeping his eyes on you, he takes off his black tshirt and tosses it aside. You grab it, though, and press it against your nose to catch his scent. "Mmph. I love your smell."
"Yeah?" His expression is softening slowly over time. The tension in his eyebrows is smoothing out.
"Yeah, I do." You shrug out of your open shirt. As you unclasp your bra, you shift to straddle one of his thighs instead of both, and grind slightly. The friction feels so good. When you're good for him, daddy sometimes lets you ride his leg until you come. The thought makes you shiver. "I love everything about you."
"I..." As you throw aside your bra, Billy runs his hands up your sides and back down to your hips. His eyes dart between your face and your breasts. "I don't deserve you."
In his grey joggers, you see his familiar swell. It's impossible to resist reaching for it and pressing the flat of your hand to him. "You deserve me every single day, Billy. You make me feel... oh, God. You make me feel divine."
His hands go back to your breasts, and elegant fingers gently tease your nipples in perfect tandem. Under your hand, you feel his cock twitch. He loves your breasts. Then, he mirrors your action, except his hand tugs down your zipper and he presses his fingers against you over your underwear. A slight lift of your hips, and his hand is trapped between you and his thigh.
"No," you murmur with a smile. "I want to focus on taking care of you."
"You are," he replies. "It makes me feel good to take care of you, too."
He's rewarded with a kiss to his pretty lips, and this time his tongue finds yours first. The pressure of it makes you shiver again. You grind harder against his hand, whilst your own hand palms him through the soft material.
"God." He drops against the back of the sofa again and looks up at you. "Promise you love me."
You take the hand between your legs to your mouth. As you suck his fingers, you look into his eyes. You swirl your tongue between them, over them, and your other hand reaches into his trousers. You fumble with the band of his boxers, and trap his cock under it. You touch the red tip and moan around his digits.
"I fucking love your cock," you moan as you pull his fingers from your mouth.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah. I can't get enough of it, not ever."
"What do you do when we're apart?" he asks, encouraging you. Suddenly, he grabs you and pulls you to sit next to him on the sofa. His confidence is returning.
"I... I watch that video you made for me a few months ago."
Billy watches your face and bites his lip. "Take off your clothes," he murmurs softly. You obey. "What video?"
With his gentle dominance coming back, your heart is racing. He lifts his hips to help you push down his trousers and underwear, and you begin a steady rhythm with your hand on his cock. "The one where you're alone on your bed."
"Spread your legs for me, baby."
Your breath catches in your throat. Again, you obey. He runs his palm up and down the inside of your thigh, and he pulls it over his leg. The intimacy of feeling your legs rest together makes your chest flush. Billy's hand slides up the soft skin of your inner thigh, and he watches your face. He has more control over his expression as you stroke him than you do when his fingers run up and down the outside of your pussy.
"What was I doing in the video?" he asks softly.
Moaning. Writhing. Begging. "Touching yourself."
"You never sent me a video back."
You laugh quietly. It turns swiftly to a moan when Billy's middle and ring fingers glide between your folds lazily. "I... I tried."
"Did you?"
As two digits press at your entrance, your hand on his cock stills. The pressure is delicious, a little demanding, a little possessive. He touches you like he owns you. He does own you. "Yeah. But... oh, shit, that's nice. But when I watched it back, I... mmph, Billy- it wasn't quite right."
"Impossible," he whispers. He leans over to kiss your neck just as his fingers slip inside. "Everything about you is perfect."
"You're blind."
He bites your ear and then blows into it. "I'm a man in love, that's all."
"Love," you breathe. Finally, you find the strength to stroke him again, although his fingers moving inside of you are driving you to distraction. "There aren't enough words to tell you how I feel about you."
"Mmm?"
"I'm fucking obsessed." He rewards you with his thumb pressing against the side of your clit. He gently rubs up and down, careful not to overstimulate you. "Shit, just like that, please-"
"I don't deserve you." But he's smiling this time. "My pretty girl."
When he says things like that, you utterly melt. And then, it's you who's putty again, and Billy who's in control. "Kiss me?"
"Come here, baby."
You whimper needily when he pulls out his hand. But he grabs your hand, and you climb back into his lap. His trousers and underwear are still on his thighs. Perhaps if he fucks you good enough, you'll leave your smell on them.
"You want me inside you?"
You nod and clutch his shoulders. "Please."
"Please, what?"
It's not even a question. It's am automatic response now. "Please, daddy."
"Oh, that's my good girl."
As you cling onto him, Billy runs his cock through your folds, pressing the head against your clit. When you feel his bluntness against your entrance, you whine softly. "Please. I need you so bad. Please."
"You love me?"
You nod, and press a feverish kiss to his forehead. "I love you so much."
As he presses inside you, your mouth drops open in a silent moan. He's perfect for you, not big enough to hurt, not small enough to frustrate. He doesn't stretch, he fills. He's everything to you. You grind against him and feel the delicious slip of him inside and out. When you rock against his hard pubic bone, he praises you. "Good girl, taking what you need. I'm so proud of you."
It makes you bite your lip. You rock in a familiar rhythm that suits you both. His kisses are on your chest and your shoulders, hot and wet. Over the pulse in your neck, he sucks gently. He'd never leave a mark on you that would embarrass you for other people to see. But when his lips find your breasts again, he gives you flowers of purple and red.
"Fuck!" you whine. "You're perfect, you're so perfect."
He crushes his mouth against yours. Strong arms wrap around your back and then all of a sudden he flips you onto the sofa and shoves your legs up. They press together and you feel the ache down the back of them, but it's nothing compared to the ache in your cunt now he's left you empty. It's only for a moment, though. He slams back inside you, and the change in angle threatens to overwhelm you. Like this, his every pound has the tension between your legs stimulated.
"Daddy!" you moan. "Please, let me see you, please, please-!"
The hand that grips your ankles loosens enough to let one leg drop down. Now you can see him, his slight grin, the fire in his eyes. He looks at you like a man obsessed, like you're the only thing in the world that matters.
"That's it, baby," he pants. His hair sticks to his sweaty forehead. His tight balls slap against you with every thust, making you whimper. "You're taking me so beautifully. Well done, my sweet girl."
"I'm so close!"
"Tell me what you need." He holds your elevated leg up by his shoulder, and turns his head to kiss your ankle. But his eyes never leave yours.
"Your h- Jesus! Hand! Please! Please!"
"Well done," he says again between laboured breaths. "You're so good at telling me what you need. Like this?"
While his hand presses firmly against your pelvis, his thumb finds its way back to your clit. The circles he runs are harder and faster now.
"Can I come?" you beg.
"Of course, baby. Whenever you need."
'Thank you, daddy!"
He's so good to you. He makes sure you orgasm first. Billy pounds you through your explosive completion that makes your whole body jerk, and only when your guttural screams have subsided does he let himself go. You got the coil so he can have you properly. He clings to the thigh against his chest as he comes, spending deep inside you. The cry of your name is deep and ragged. It sends aftershocks rushing through you.
He collapses on you, and you both pant. Only when his cock begins to soften does he pull out of you, but beyond that, neither of you move much. His face is buried in your neck, and your hand is buried in his hair.
After a while, you feel lips press softly against your throat.
"You okay?" you whisper.
"Mmm."
"I wanted to be the one to take care of you." You laugh softly.
He kisses your skin again. "You always take care of me." His voice is nothing more than a mumble.
The laughter fades on your lips. "I always will. I love you so much."
"You make life worth living."
Your arms tighten around him. "Your life is so precious, Billy. We'll find a way to make it better. I promise."
"I love you."

The Butterfly Effect
Chpr 4
❗Trigger Warning for angst.
🤍🧡🩷
"John, I think we may have a situation."
"Mmm? Whereabouts?"
Abandoning his half-prepared bagel; John floated back towards the interface.
EOS paused.
"EOS?"
"I may be experiencing a malfunction. My connections with Tracy Island appear to have been... interrupted."
John's stomach dropped.
Then logic snapped back in place. He gathered himself and snatched a bite of the unfinished bagel. It was likely just a glitch. Something he'd need to sort quickly as EOS had become a fundamental member of their rescue operations. But MAX...MAX could buy him some time to investigate. He'd just need to contact Tracy Island to update Brains.
He knew it was like trying a car door someone had already tried - one with the keys locked inside, but it had to be done...
John swiped open a comms line.
⚠️ Unable to connect
"Huh."
John's hands momentarily hovered over the signal error code, before tapping the line attached to his uniform.
"Tracy Island, this is Thunderbird Five, do you copy?"
He was met with static.
"Tracy Island, come in."
...
So it wasn't just EOS.
John swiped a line open to Penelope.
He was greeted almost immediately by her soft, sunshine-filled voice.
"Hello John. How many we be of assistance?"
John couldn't look her in the eyes. Their friendship was such that he had no hope in hiding his emotion - even in hologram form. So, he busied himself with nothing in particular as he spoke, wearing composure like a mask.
"I seem to be experiencing some difficulty in reaching Tracy Island. Thunderbird Five may have been hit by a solar flare," he garbled.
"We're calling them now." Penny practically cut him off mid-ramble.
She could see right through his facade.
"Hmmm. Unable to connect. Looks like we may have a situation on our hands. Parker, the boys may require a little helping hand. Re-route to Tracy Island, if you will?"
"Right you are Milady."
"We will get to the bottom of this, John. Keep trying."
"FAB. Standby."
Hot panic began clawing its way up his spine as the space elevator plummeted towards the silent island.
Again, he attempted each individual feed.
"Virgil?...Virgil? Do you copy?"
"Gordon?... Gor-"
"-I have managed to secure a line to Thunderbird One. No visuals." EOS reported.
John kept his voice steady.
"Thunderbird Five to Thunderbird One, come in."
Silence.
"Scott, report."
John's heart was hammering in his throat.
The line was clear, the signal strong, meaning Scott should be able to hear him.
"SCOTT!"
John waited for what felt like an eternity.
Then he heard it. A groan.
Only, it wasn't human in origin. Certainly not from Scott. This groan made his blood run cold. It was the groan of bowing metal.
Oh God.
"EOS, launch Protocol Phoenix."

a request for Tommy Miller coming to the rescue when readers car breaks down late at night + Tommy putting his coat around her so she doesn't get cold.
🩷
Car Troubles
summary: your car breaks down and you know only one person who's up this late warnings: being alone in the middle of nowhere at night (not sure if that's a true warning, but might as well), pre/no outbreak, fem! reader who's described as smaller than tommy word count: 1.2k notes: tommy my love, he'd come to anyone's rescue and i love him for that (also this is so funny bc my car died on me the other day and i had to get it jumpstarted by someone else lmao)
"No, no, no!" You yelled as you hit your steering wheel.
You were able to pull your car to the side of the road right before the battery died. You groaned as you tried to turn your key, hoping the engine would turn over. Instead, you heard a wheezing sound from your engine before you stopped trying. You leaned your head against the head rest and ran through all your options.
You could try to figure things out by yourself and fix it, but it was late and you were alone on an empty road. You didn't really want to get out of your car at all, you didn't want to risk becoming a face on a missing poster. Which left you with your second option, calling someone.
You didn't know what time it was or how far you were from town, so most of your friends most likely wouldn't answer or be willing to come get you. Most meaning everyone, except for Tommy.
You quickly grabbed your phone from your purse in the passenger's seat and dialed his number. As it rang, you made sure your doors were locked and you didn't see anyone suspicious around.
"Hello?" Tommy's tired voice came from the other end.
"Hey, Tommy, it's me," you quickly answered.
"Oh, hey, sweetheart. Why are you calling me this late? Everything okay?" He asked as you heard sheets shifting around in the background.
You ignored the way his nickname for you made your cheeks warm a bit. "My car died on the side of the road. Do you think you can come get me or jumpstart my car?"
"Yeah, I'll come get you," he paused to quickly pull on some pants and a shirt before swiping his keys from his dresser, "where are you?"
"I'm a few miles from the highway, on the exit with that retro diner," you said.
"Alright, do you want to stay on the phone with me?"
"I would, but I should probably save the battery. I'll call you if it's an emergency, okay?"
"Okay, see you in a bit, sweetheart," he said before hanging up.
You sighed and put your phone back in your bag before leaning back in your seat. You wrapped your arms around yourself as a shiver ran through you. Of course the night your car decided to die was one of those rare nights in Austin when the air was brisk and windy.
You tried to ignore the slight chill slipping into your car by thinking about other things, mainly Tommy. You were happy you had a friend like him. Not only was he willing to help no matter the time of day, he was caring and funny. He was also handsome, but you'd never say it out loud. You didn't want to cross that line between friends and more, even though you two had been dancing around it for months.
Were you waiting for him to give you a sure sign he was into you? Maybe, but was that so bad? You were willing to be the one who makes the first move, you just didn't want to misread anything between you two.
However, Tommy being a gentleman and coming to your rescue late at night was making it harder not to make that first move.
You saw headlights approaching and were brought back to the present. You watched as Tommy got closer and pulled off to the side of the rode in front of your car. You quickly got out of your car and walked over to his driver's side to meet him.
"Hey," you said, crossing your arms in front of you to keep yourself warm in the brisk night air.
"Hey, you doin' alright, sweetheart?" He replied, his accent becoming heavier with his tiredness.
"I'm fine, just ready to go home, y'know?"
"Then, let's get this car fixed."
He flashed you a smile before walking over and popping your engine open. You moved to the side of your car and watched him work, his headlights being the only good source of light. Watching his hands work made you forget about the cold for a moment, but a sudden breeze caused your teeth to chatter and your hands to shake for a few seconds.
Tommy glanced up at you, worry in his eyes. "You cold?"
"Y-yeah, but I'll-"
He cut you off by standing up and taking off his jacket. He stepped closer and wrapped his jacket around your shoulders. It was big on your frame, you nearly drowned in it, but you didn't care as you slipped your arms into the sleeves. The jacket smelled like him and it gave you some relief from the cold. Tommy was standing close to you, so close that if you leaned forward just a bit, your lips would meet.
You saw his eyes fall then meet yours again. He cleared his throat and stepped away, getting back to work. He found your battery before going and grabbing his jumper cables, then turned the ignition off on his car. He quickly opened his engine up and found his battery.
He then handed the cables to you to put on your battery. Once both cables were on, he turned to you and met your gaze. "Let's see if it worked."
You nodded with a smile, then rounded your car and hopped in the driver's seat. You turned your keep and the engine finally turned over. You got out of the car and quickly went over to Tommy, wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him into a tight hug.
"Thank you!" Your words were muffled with your face buried in his neck.
He laughed as his arms wrapped tightly around you. "Anytime, sweetheart."
You pulled away just enough to meet his eyes, the two of you smiling like idiots. You saw his eyes dart down again, and you took that as your sign. You leaned in slowly, a bit hesitant, too. As you just started to tilt your head to the side, Tommy closed the gap between you two. Your lips met and it made all that time dancing around your feelings worth it. His lips were soft and fit with yours perfectly as he pulled you even closer. The cold, the cars, everything went out the window and your thoughts were just him and his lips.
It only lasted a few moments, but it felt much longer. You both pulled away and slowly let each other go.
"You, uh, need anything else?" He asked, his hands holding yours for the last bit of contact.
You shook your head. "I think I'm good." Especially after kissing you, you silently add on.
"Alright, well," he finally let your hands go and took care of the cables before shutting your engines, "I'll call you tomorrow."
You two stand between your cars, not really wanting the moment to end. "Sounds good," you reply with a smile.
He quickly kissed your cheek, his lips staying close to your ear. "Talk to you then, sweetheart."
Leaving you blushing, he rounded his car and went to the driver side. You watched as he climbed in before doing the same. He pulled back out onto the road first and you followed behind him.
Maybe you should have car troubles more often.

Cody was rarely ever nervous for anything, but once you two began dating he became nervous to meet your mother especially since that was the only parental figure within your life. Your mother was someone who was never easily impressed, she knew if certain friends were good enough to be your friends or not simply by the vibe they bring to her home. He only spoke with her briefly over a face-time you were having with her over the summer and she seemed like a nice lady but now that the holidays were rolling by she had brought it upon herself to have you two stay over for Christmas and Christmas eve. At first he was more than happy to accept the invitation and even cleared his entire schedule.
But then the months rolled by faster and faster & boom, December 23rd hit and because she lived across town you two decided to take a road trip to her house. The entire car was filled with silence beside his shaking breath and hefty mumbled of “fuck..” at first it was fine but when you had tried taking a nap it became slightly irritating “sweetheart what’s wrong?” Cody turned his head with a flushed red look on his face “I’m fucking terrified to meet your mother doll.” A chuckle rolled from your tongue as he finally confessed as to why he had been freaking out “Cody babe you’ll be fine. You met her before” He shook his head “No I had a brief interaction with her over a screen that’s different baby, She’s making me rethink me choices in life like this tattoo & choice in career and she hasn’t even said anything yet. I’ve heard your stories Y/N.” She laughed shaking her head and run her fingers through his black hair “Baby you’re overthinking it she doesn’t judge off of tattoos relax.”
Cody sighed as he realized they had just pulled into her driveway and pinched the bridge of his nose after tugging the keys out of the ignition and staring down at his lap “Baby if she hates me I’m so sorry.” You laughed and took off your seatbelt “Baby she won’t hate you relax.” Cody sighed opening the trunk after he got out of the car while you went up to her mothers door knocking on it while he grabbed their suitcases & bags of gifts for Your cousins & nieces since her sisters had become parents a few years ago. Your mother opened the door & smiled widely hugging her youngest child “Babygirl! I missed you so much I was almost convinced you forgot about me!” You smiled brightly and hugged her mom as Cody just made it to the porch and wiped off his clammy hands and took a deep breath holding out his hand
“You must be who swiped up my daughter.” She spoke in a serious tone which even had you concerned and probably cause Cody to shit bricks. “Oh I’m just joking baby come here! Give me a hug.” She smiled widely and pulled Cody into a big hug while he smiled and sighed out in relief before wrapping his arms around her “It’s wonderful to meet you Mrs L/N.” Her mother smiled patting his back before guiding him inside while he carried in the suitcases “I hope you don’t mind pizza tonight I was quite unprepared and all of the food being made will be for christmas.”
You shook your head “Mama don’t worry it’s fine, Cody & I can go to the store tomorrow and whip something up for Christmas eve don’t worry.” Her mother smiled cupping your face in her hands “You’re too sweet dear, Cody sweetheart you & Y/N will be sleeping in her old room okay? It’s down the hall the last door to your right.” He smiled nervously and hustled upstairs with the luggage while your mother took you to the Christmas tree to put away all the presents you & Cody had brought during the trip over to the house. “He’s a sweet boy Y/N i can tell he has love for you.” You smiled from ear to ear while pushing strands of your own hair out of your face as you thought of your boyfriend “He is the best isn’t he mama?”
Cody came downstairs & nervously sat on the couch while your Sister had just walked into the house making your mother get up and help her get settled in. Cody smiled over in your direction as you got up and stood between his legs as his arms wrapped around your waist “One direction?” He teased at your bedroom that was filled with boy band posters & teen magazines you owned when you were in middle school and high school “Shutup.”
You laughed out as he pressed a soft kiss against your collarbone, Cody got up as S/N made her way into the living room while her husband put away their suitcases while the kids scampered around hugging your leg “Auntie Y/N!!” You grinned widely fixing your attention onto the little ones while S/N & Cody introduced themselves to each other “You must be Cody! It’s nice to meet you finally!” Cody smiled shaking her hand “It’s amazing to meet you too S/N! I hear a lot about you & the kids.” S/N grinned as her husband shook Cody’s hands while they all got to know each other.
For the remainder of the night they all munched down on pizza & laughed about their old family memories, “Mrs L/N Is it alright if I get a drink from the kitchen.” Cody questioned while your mother smiled “Of course Cody! My home is your home you welcome yourself to anything you’d like sweetheart and don’t call me L/N I feel old! Call me M/N!” He smiled nodding his head “Yes Ma’am.” He got up & went into the kitchen seeing you bake Christmas cookies with the girls while he got himself a drink. He watched as you interacted with the kids & helped wash their hands while he pointed out your failed attempt of a santa clause cookie “What happened here?” You sighed jokingly “I ruined Santa.” He snorted looking over at you while the kids ran off as he hummed wrapping his hands in your hair while you admired his black hair before kissing him “Thank you for being so good to me Doll.” You smiled before kissing his cheek “No thank you, this means more than a lot to me Codes.” He smiled and kissed you once more before you two called it a night & went to bed.
The next morning it was finally Christmas Eve you noticed Cody wasn’t in bed with you & then you heard muffled chuckling from downstairs followed with your Mom telling some sort of story so you made your way downstairs and saw Cody sitting next to your mother on the couch while the kids were playing & running around & immediately saw the old photo book your mother owned and knew she was showing off your childhood photos up to your high-school graduation “She was such a talented girl.” Your mother sighed while Cody smiled nodding in agreement before turning his head looking over at you
“Goodmorning baby, I didn’t wanna wake you so I let you sleep in for a little bit.” You smile groggily and shook your head before getting on the couch and lying your head down in his lap “Don’t worry it’s fine.” Your mother smiled as she looked at you two & showed you one of the photos they were looking at which was your first month of college sitting in a dorm with your roommates pre gaming for some sort of party “Y/N was a major party girl when she went to college” Cody raised a brow “You? Partying? This is news to me.” You smacked his chest lightly while he laughed it off.
For the remainder of your stay at the house you both help make dinner for Christmas & mainly watch as he bonded with your mother & nieces & cousins, If you didn’t know then that he was your soulmate for the rest of your life well now you knew. <3

One of Those Days
Request: Felix & Prompt #2
Prompt:
2) “Get in the fucking blanket fort."
Prompt list can be found HERE.
Pairing: Stray Kids Felix x Reader
Genre: Fluff
TW: Swearing
.
The coffee stains on your shirt weren't nearly as bad as you had convinced yourself. No one at work had made a comment about it, so either they hadn't seen it or they were just being polite.
It was totally fine that you locked yourself out of your apartment without your car keys this morning. The walk to work really wasn't that long and you swiped your key card only 32 minutes after you should of, making it necessary for a security guard to walk you to your desk.
Shredding the wrong file totally wasn't the end of the world either. You had back ups, or at least you thought you did until your computer popped up with the blue screen of death. Maybe the IT guy could salvage it after all?
Pulling at the lobby door of your apartment, when you subconsciously knew good and well it should have been pushed caused you to pause, taking a deep breath. Everything was fine. Some days are just bad and that's how it is. The universe decided to throw your mental health into a dishwasher without the detergent. All of the worst bits still floated around and nothing ending up clean like you hoped it would.
But you were home now...well, you would be as soon as Felix showed up with your spare key. Until then, you could lay in the fetal position next to your welcome mat, nice and safe.
Glancing toward the elevator, you had to chuckle as you noticed the white piece of paper taped to it. "Out of Order."
"Looks like we're walking," you muttered, eying the staircase you loathed after an especially long day. Grabbing tightly to the banister, you decided to take your time. There was no need to rush when you were just going to wait anyway.
Up and up you climbed, pausing once you heard someone rocketing up the stairs behind you. Turning a hopeful eye over your shoulder, you prayed to any of the gods available that it was Felix.
"Excuse me," you heard briskly as an unknown tenant flew past you.
"Hey!" you gasped, colliding with his shoulder as he continued to climb.
"Sorry!" he called back without turning around, not even noticing as you tripped up the stairs.
"It's okay," you said quietly, closing your eyes. "It's okay, it's okay, it's okay...
IT IS NOT OKAY!" you finished with a screech. "I AM NOT OKAY!"
"Y/N?" a familiar voice whispered from the platform above you.
You winced as you looked up, your eyes locked on a familiar face. Heat rose up your neck and steadily moved towards your ears as you remained silent.
"Should, should I-" Felix said quickly before shaking his head to correct himself. "Yes, of course."
He quickly descended the steps toward you, immediately crouching to take your hands in his.
"It's just," you began weakly. "It's just been a r-really hard day."
This caused his brows to furrow, his mouth turning into an upside down "u" shape. "Tell me all about it."
"Can we...can we maybe get up first?" you asked, hearing more tenants filter into the lobby. You didn't want to cause any further spectacles today.
"Oh right, totally!" he gasped before beginning to stand, gently bracing your arms as you stood as well. Without letting you go, he led you up the remaining steps and to your apartment door.
Entering slowly, he eased you into the small mudroom area, only stopping long enough so you could kick off your shoes. Nodding to himself again, he led you to the kitchen and patted one of the bar stools. "Do you need snacks? I brought some! And I just tried out this new recipe-"
Before he finished, you found yourself shaking your head. The tears you were so desperately trying to avoid were dangerously close from falling. Felix seemed to notice too as he reached out to you, pulling your shoulders toward his chest. From the seated position, you could easily nestle into the soft material of his sweater as he wrapped protecting arms around you. "Please let it out," he whispered into your hair. "But also know, that I am a sympathetic crier and am not responsible if I get snot in your hair."
You let out a hiccup that was a mix between a sob and a laugh. "I've already suffered enough today, why not add someone else's bodily fluids into the mix?"
"Hey now," he chuckled. "It's not just anyone's bodily fluids."
"Can we please stop saying bodily fluids?"
"I kind of like it."
"Lix," you grumbled, leaning away from him. You couldn't help the smile that tugged the corners of your mouth as you saw the one spreading across his face.
"I know just what you need," he said, looking more sure of himself than you had ever seen. "Where are your spare sheets?"
"I'm sorry, what?" you asked, quirking a brow.
"Spare sheets, Y/N, this is very important."
"Uh...hall closet?"
He smiled before releasing you and waddling in the direction you had sent him in. "Stay there."
"Okaaay?" you called behind him, completely confused as to what he was doing.
After fifteen minutes of listening to him grumble, swear, and even scream in alarm (It only happened once, but you were convinced he may have almost set something aflame) Felix finally appeared in the kitchen doorway. Looking more than ruffled, he shot you one of his award winning smiles. "It's ready."
"What is ready exactly?" you asked, leaning forward off of your stool.
"Come find out," he grinned, darting away from you and into the living area.
Heaving a sigh, you followed behind, only to be met with a very unexpected sight.
"Tada!' He jumped, extending his hands in the direction of the couch. "Welcome to Hotel Felix! Dinner is served promptly at six and the dress code is business casual. Please make sure to tip your servers and cleaning staff."
You blinking quickly, trying to shake what had to be a hallucination away from your sight. Felix had quickly and efficiently turned the entire living room into a blanket draped tent. Tiny fairy lights (that you had never seen before and were convinced he may have kept on his person) were woven between cushions and could be seen lighting the interior of the "hotel." Candles illuminated the entertainment center and book cases. Scrunching your nose, you couldn't help but smell the slightly singed scent in the air.
"Felix," you said cautiously. "Did you-"
"Make the best "feel better" space of all time? Why yes, yes I did," he smiled.
"Set something on fire?" you finished.
"Only myself, but don't worry, me and my sleeve are relatively unharmed," he nodded.
"Look, Yongbokkie, my sweet, summer child," you sighed, turning to him. You watched with a tinge of guilt as his excited expression turned into one of confusion. "I really just want to take a long shower and then maybe-"
"Y/N?" he whispered, an unfamiliar stony expression overtaking his face.
"Yes?" you asked quietly.
"Get in the fucking blanket fort."
Without making another argument, you quickly dropped to the floor, crawling into the space he had created. A small room draped in sheets and blankets opened up to you and you couldn't help but gasp. Cushions and pillows coated the floor, and his laptop sat in the middle, Netflix already queued up. Scooting toward the left side of the tiny room, you sat and began to take everything in. It was adorable.
"Now was that so hard?" he said, following behind you. You let out a sigh of relief as you saw his normally sunshiny countenance back.
"Felix," you chuckled, shaking your head. "What the fuck?"
"Making blanket forts is one of my most marketable skills." Leaning toward one of the blanket walls, he reached through the slightly parted sheets and pulled out a convenience store bag full of snack foods. "It started when Hannie had an anxiety attack one day and I just wanted...well, I just wanted him to feel safe. The dorms can be so loud and there's so many people everywhere. I wanted to make him his own special place where he could decompress and...well, I got really good at it. Except when candles get involved, obviously."
If you were a cartoon, you would have heart eyes. "You are the most precious human being I have ever met."
"Thanks," he smiled, unwrapping some licorice and pulling out a strand. "Licorice?"
"Wait, I'm not done!" Scooting as close as you could into his side, you leaned forward, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "Thank you. For all of this. For being you and being here for me. I couldn't possibly ask for more."
"Well, you could," he said, wrapping an arm around you.
"I wouldn't even be able to come up with something more! This is perfect."
"You could ask for a kiss?" he smirked mischeviously. "Or some cuddles? Or to not have me pick what we're going to watch because it's going to be Power Rangers: The Movie again."
"Is that the one with Ivan Ooze?"
"Is there any other worth watching?"
You smiled, eying his lips as he stared lovingly back at you. "How about I just watch you instead?"
"Oh, I'm boring," he hummed. "But a lot less boring when you're kissing me, so you should probably get to it."
You couldn't help but laugh at the cute, little man in front of you. "Okay, okay, I'll kiss you, you nerd."
And you did just that.

You swore 💔
Part 4
Half socmed half fic where Steve gets more than he bargained for when he starts cheating on his girlfriend with the hot cashier from the boutique near his job.
18+
<- Part 3
Steve wanted to surprise Billy with some of his favorite diner’s breakfast. As his blonde angel was asleep, he snuck down to his car, disappointed to find that it wouldn’t start.
“Ah, shit. What the hell happened?” Steve hardly knew enough about cars to fix it himself, so he intended to call someone tomorrow to get it repaired.
He snuck back into the bed, letting Billy roll into his arms as he kissed his forehead.
This was perfect. Billy was exactly what he wanted.
When he felt his phone vibrate on his pillow, he reached behind his head to pick it up and see who would text him so early.
In the nearly 3 years Steve and Nancy were together, they only said “I love you” 4 times, 3 of them were from Steve. Did she even love him?
“G’morning, pretty boy.” A soft, groggy voice greeted Steve, immediately washing away his concerns.
“Morning, baby.” He answered with a smile. “I tried to go out and get you some breakfast this morning, but my car wouldn’t start.”
“Mm…that sucks. Why didn’t you take mine?”
“Ah, I know that’s your baby. I didn’t want you to bite my head off if I swiped the keys.”
Billy chuckled. “I’ll only bite in the ways you like it.” He leaned into Steve’s neck, nibbling on his warm skin and making him chuckle. “But seriously, I can take a look if you want. I’m pretty good with cars.”
“Would you? You’re the best.”
“You’re all mine today, right?” He cutely pursed his lips, his soft blue eyes gazing into Steve’s. “She's not gonna call and ask you to drive her to another evil lab or something?”
Steve laughed. “No, no, not today. Nancy's helping her mom clean the basement. We probably won’t talk until tomorrow.”
Billy sighed. “I couldn’t imagine not talking to you all day like that.”
Steve lied back, waving his hand. “I think we just got used to each other and whatever we had slowly…fizzled out. It’s not like we really say I love you to each other anymore.”
“Seriously? Then why do you hang on to something that isn’t even worth your time?”
“Because I’m just…used to her. And I do care about her. I always did. I think she’s used to me too, but she has other plans for the future.”
“Wanna know what I plan for the future?”
Steve turned to Billy, an intrigued look on his face. “Yeah?”
“You, me, a nice little house in another city where we can go to the beach and I can teach you to surf. And we can be happy everyday, for the rest of our lives. No shitty or judgy parents, no one to hurt us. Just a fresh start.”
“I’d love that. I want that.”
“Do you?”
Steve nodded. “Yeah.”
“Love me?”
“Of course I love you.”
Billy smiled. “Sorry about yesterday. I shouldn’t have acted like that. I’m just…" He shrugged, turning away "scared, I guess.”
“You don't need to be scared, babe. I swore, remember?”
“On your life.” Billy reminded him.
“Mhm.” Steve kissed his forehead. “I’m the one that should be sorry. I was being a dick. Why don’t I cook you some breakfast to make up for it?”
“I’d love that, pretty boy. Then I’ll work on your car.”
“No rush, baby. I’m not going anywhere, remember? I’m all yours.”
“All mine?” Billy’s eyes lit up with glee.
“All yours.” Steve reassured with a swift peck.
Billy sank into the bed as Steve got up to go cook breakfast, the words ringing in his head over and over again like music.
All yours, all yours, all yours…swear on my life.
“I’m not letting him go.”
Steve’s car was an easy fix. His battery terminals were corroded. Billy could’ve fixed that in minutes but he simply didn’t want to. He wanted Steve’s car to be out of commission for a few days so he could be the one to drive him around. He wanted as much time with his pretty boy as possible.
Nancy didn’t have a car. Couldn’t even drive. That made her useless, and gave Billy a one-up in the situation. He tampered with the alternator and pulled out the fuel pump relay. He discretely took out his lighter and damaged it before putting it back, then returned to the house and took off his clothes as if he’d done nothing wrong.
He found Steve in the living room cleaning the coffee table and put on the most disappointed face before approaching him.
“Baby, I’m sorry. I think your car needs to spend some time in the shop. You’ve got problems I don’t have the proper equipment to solve.” Billy frowned.
“Ah, shit. Really?" Steve heavily sighed. "How will I get to work?”
“I could drive you. It’s not far from both of my jobs.”
“You’d do that? Really?”
Billy nodded. “I’d do anything for you.”
Steve pulled Billy into his arms, initiating a passionate kiss.
Billy dragged Steve over to the couch, roughly pushing him down and straddling him.
They continued to kiss as Billy was grinding on Steve’s hard cock, swallowing his moans and biting his bottom lip.
Steve broke away and pulled his cock out of his pants. He spit in his hand and lubed himself up, then slid Billy’s briefs to the side and thrusted deep inside him.
He loved the way Billy took his cock like a champ. He loved getting fucked hard, begging to be fucked harder, even if it hurt.
Billy held onto Steve, leaning into his neck to suck over the unsightly hickey Nancy left to reclaim his territory.
Billy pushed Steve’s hands away from his hips and held onto the back of the couch. He squatted on Steve’s cock, riding him excitedly while Steve held his briefs out of the way, nearly tearing them as he tugged so hard.
Steve couldn’t resist the urge to thrust from beneath, meeting Billy’s and filling the room with loud moans, grunts and harsh smacking sounds.
He grabbed hold of Billy’s back, thrusting even harder as they moaned and heaved in each other’s faces.
“I’m gonna cum.” Billy whined.
“Cum, baby.” Steve slowed down just enough for them to meet for a kiss. He sucked on Billy’s tongue, knowing how much he loved that shit.
Billy moaned and whimpered until he exploded in his briefs. Steve smirked satisfactory as he let Billy’s tongue slip out of his mouth before demanding he remove his sticky briefs and lean over the back of the couch.
Billy quickly complied, allowing Steve to finish him off with rough, painful thrusts until he spilled out inside him.
Afterward, they finally took that bubble bath Steve promised they would.
“You sure you don’t mind driving me around for a few days?”
“I’ll drive you anywhere, pretty boy. I’ll even drive you crazy.”
Steve laughed. “You already do that, lover boy.”
“Can…can I ask you something?”
“Always, babe.”
“Last night…when you came home late. Did…did you fuck her?”
Steve sighed. “I didn’t…it…didn’t mean anything.”
Billy frowned. “I had a feeling.”
“I wasn’t gonna tell you about it. I’m sorry.“
“Don’t apologize to me. She’s…still your girl.”
Steve held Billy close. “But I love you, alright?”
“It doesn’t make this hurt any less. When I thought it was just you and me, I started falling fast. You came into the boutique and stole my heart. Not to mention how much of a freak you are really turned me on.”
Steve softly chuckled. “I can’t be that person with Nancy. I feel…so free and so alive with you.”
“Then just be with me already.”
“I’m figuring it out, baby, I swear.”
Billy sighed. “I’m trying to be patient. I’m shit at it, but for you I’m fuckin’ trying. Just…breaks my heart thinking that I’m the one you’ll let go of in the end.”
“Why would I do that?”
“Because it’s easier? I dunno.” Billy shrugged.
“It would be harder to let you go because I’m in love with you. Nancy…Nancy needs me right now. For a different reason. You understand what I mean, don’t you? This isn’t about me being unable to choose—“
“No matter how you twist it. That’s how it feels. But yeah. Yeah, I get it.”
They sat in the tub in silence, their bodies tense against each other’s.
“Wanna get out now?” Steve finally asked.
“Yeah.”
Steve’s heart plummeted to his stomach. Nancy at the pool when Billy’s the lifeguard on duty? His girlfriend and his…Billy…in the same place? At the same time? No way.
Steve told Nancy a dozen times that he hated puzzles and she insisted it’s because he’s impatient.
Steve set his phone down and returned his attention to Billy.
Billy sneakily grabbed Steve's phone and turned on Do Not Disturb. Steve promised he was all his and Billy wanted what he was owed.
