So for Solar, this was, much like with Engel, a decision completely based on nebulous vibes, yet a certain one. Hoping it strikes true, nonetheless!

Sage

Sage has a reputation mainly as a common garden herb and Scarborough Fair and is first and foremost incredibly versatile. Pumpkin season wouldn't be the same without it, and both its leaves and flowers taste great fried or prepared in a myriad of ways. I, myself, adore it mainly for its beautiful aroma. It is a strong taste and scent that refuses to be delegated to the sidelines and works best when brought to the forefront.

I wanted to give Solar something that is first and foremost useful, because to me he seems like a man that appreciates utility in all areas of life. The fact that flowering sage is very pretty is, of course, a bonus. Nothing better than a flower that can be gifted to one's love interest one second and ripped out to supply the kitchens the next.

Sage stands mainly for

Health, something that Solar doesn't fare particularly well in but all the more important to wish it upon someone

Wisdom, as the name may suggest, which is something he embodies through strategy and cleverness

and Respect, which is something he no doubt commands but also likely holds for others in the same way

It is also ceremonial to a lot of cultures!

Sage is a lovely herb and I hope I've done Solar justice :) *bows*

There's a rhythm in the way she walks and a melody in her voice that invites Reyna to pay attention. She watches as her lips speak harmonies she's inclined to smile at, note and record. There have been many moments as of late where she take advantage of their privacy to act as an appropriate distraction, a fitting object for her desires when otherwise advised to keep from acting on them immediately. Here and now she listens to the other prattle on about reports, mission details, the works as Brimstone would have it but Reyna didn't particularly care for the subject at the moment. As patient as she's been she doesn't see the need to continue when they were left alone anyhow.

Yet there's no abrupt transition between professionalism and intimacy. Clicks announce her shorter distance when Sage turns to fetch something and arms snake their way around the other's waist to bring her closer with such a gentle action it's questionable whether or not it even belongs to the duelist so devoted to brutality. Sage falls into her so easily she feels as if she were meant to be there and the arms that tighten their hold around her agree as her chin nestles its way onto the healer's shoulder. "Go on," she coos even when Sage begins to lose her train of thought, sputtering to Reyna's amusement.

Lips press themselves on reddened cheeks once, twice and only tease the idea of a third as they brush along the other's jawline. It's easy to feel the smirk that Sage's flustered position suggests to eager lips that they should be proud of their accomplishment and fish pleas. "Am I distracting you, Sage?" Low and enticing if her actions weren't enough. Daring are the hands that find themselves toying with the hem of the fabric at Sage's waistline, humming as if the discovery were really something of note.

"I promise I'm listening to every word." Reyna may have had devious intentions but she was earnestly listening, despite not caring for the subject. At least not currently. Where they left off lips continue with their line of progress, traces of her lipstick leaving evidence she was proud to leave on display as she continued down their dear leader's neck. It's become somewhat of a hobby of Reyna's to spoil Sage with affection and she loved to catch the healer off guard just to catch a glimpse of that pretty red face.
