Election day riots? Riots this summer? Riots this fall? The possibility of riots anywhere in the world is going to be strong this year when Mars goes retrograde from September to November. Not sure of which riots you’re referring to at the moment.

Things have been “relatively” quiet the last month (May), and they’re not going to be so quiet in June and July. I know, I know. Saying “quiet” when there’s a huge worldwide pandemic, economic hemorrhaging, and various ripple effects from those two items going on seems unbelievable. 

But we’re in the eclipse season now until about July 19th/20th. You can already see the turbulence beginning with what is happening in Minneapolis, Minnesota. (Speaking as an American.) It’s going to get difficult for people to “see” what’s going on, during eclispe “season.” Difficult for people to understand what’s going on. Increased fear, anxiety, and uncertainty from what we already have going on.

On top of the eclipses, we have a Mercury retrograde period from hell coming up. Mercury moves into Ardra nakshatra tomorrow, and that nakshatra is associated with tragedy. It’ll move out of Ardra on June 13th, but then it’ll retrograde back in on June 22nd. Mercury stations & goes retrograde on June 17th/18th, which is the same time when Mars moves into Pisces. Mars will then aspect Mercury’s position in Gemini via its 4th aspect. This means that when Mercury is retrograde, it will not have any benefic aspects shining on it until Jupiter retrogrades back into Sagittarius on June 30th. Without any benefic planets supporting Mercury, it’ll make things more tense and intense.

But Mars transiting Pisces will put it in the US’s 4th house, the house of home. With Pisces being a water sign, I personally am worried about hurricanes since it is going to be a terrible year for hurricanes. Mercury being placed in Ardra nakshatra may increase this possibility since Ardra is ruled by Rudra, storm god. Could also just be terrible rain, thunder, hail, and tornado storms as well. Mars will be in Pisces until August 16th when it moves into Aries. We could see an angry US population go from angry to even more angry when that happens since Aries is a fire sign. The astrological “weather��� is a little more calm in August, but it’s still getting closer to the point when Mars will go retrograde on September 9th. Things will vary from country to country, so we’ll have to see how things shake out. 

But back to June we still have two eclipses in June and one in early July. Lunar eclipse on June 5th. Solar eclipse on June 21st. Another lunar eclipse on July 5th. Eclipse “season” is two weeks before and after an eclipse. So this is why the chaos is extending longer than usual since usually it’s just a solar & lunar eclipse, not two lunar and one solar eclipses. 

Mercury will go direct on July 12th, when there is still one week left of eclipse “season.” And then it might seem like things are calming down and that we’re getting out of the woods, so to speak. But Rahu & Saturn are in an exact 6/8 relationship on July 16th. (True node of north node, not mean node.) 6/8 relationship is a dustana relationship between houses. Very unfavorable. (Might be the same thing as a quincunx in western astrology but can’t remember for sure at the moment.) Anyway, they will be at least within 1 degree of that relationship one week before and after. (Actually, probably longer than that but I’m too lazy to do the math right now.) Rahu & Saturn are both vata (air) planets. The element of air is associated with communication, social relationships, and social groups, so there could be something socially shocking that happens during that time. (”That time” might as well be all of July since this year is a fucker anyway.) “Socially shocking” could be a shocking death like Princess Diana--referenced in the link above--or some other event. We shall see when it comes for the exact specifics.

So, yeah, sorry to unload. I had this on my mind recently. Was going to do a separate post but felt like putting it all here. You’re probably going to have to wait awhile for Biden to “get out.” It’s not happening next week, but then I realized why that is and I feel like I have an understanding of why that is.

2020 is going to give everyone whiplash these next two months. 2020 is going to go, “Oh, you thought it was just going to be a pandemic and recession this year? But wait, there’s more.”

This solar eclipse too which happened was not a normal one as there was shasht yoga which means presence of 6 planets which were together on this eclipse day,these planets were sun,moon,saturn,mercury,jupiter ketu because of which the negative impact of this eclipse was on a larger scale. Thank you for the astrology breakdown. I am most curious to see how the Jupiter/Pluto conjunction on her DSC plays out. In tropical astrology, her Mars is in Cancer which makes it very debilitated. The Mars retrograde later this year is another period to watch closely!

So I don't think of the Mars retrograde period having a particularly huge effect on either Harry and Megs out of proportion to other people. Things in general will be angry and heated when Mars goes retrograde, but I don't think of them particularly in regards to that. (Mars goes retrograde around September 9th this year.)

For me, at this point, I tend to think about the upcoming Mars retrograde having more of an effect on the US elections than on the BRF. (Debating whether or not to put my random thoughts about the election in a post or not at this point.)

Although, I should note that Mars does retrograde close to Charles' natal Moon, so perhaps Charles will see some changes in his career or public status this fall. Would not be so surprising since Ketu (south node of Moon) moves into Scorpio on September 19, so every BRF royal with a Sagittarius ascendant--HM the Queen, [Philip,] William, Harry--can breathe more easily after it changes signs. Plus the solar eclipse in December this year is close to Charles' natal Mars, which rules his 10th house. So something will obviously be happening to Charles later this fall and/or winter, what exactly don't know at this point. Will he be taking on more responsibility? Will this indicate an upcoming regency? Too early to know and I haven't bothered to look closely at it.

Since I just mentioned Scorpio & Ketu moving backwards into it, I would like to point out at this time that means Ketu will be gandanta and going through the worst gandanta points in Scorpio this fall. Expect there to be heavy flooding somewhere in the world. Given that this will be happening during hurricane season in the fall, I expect somewhere in the world to have heavy rain fall from a cyclone or hurricane. Prior to that happening in September, Mars and the Sun will both be gandanta (Pisces and Cancer respectively) on August 15, so mid-August is another time to be concerned about flooding. It is a Yang Water year--or so I've been told--based on a Chinese astrology forecast I've read about this year (Year of the White Rat), so be aware for flooding late summer to fall.

Ketu will trine Mars exactly a couple of times this fall. The influence of those two aggressive planets will be felt no doubt. Ketu & Mars will be conjunct next week, and it’ll be right after Mars passes through the previous eclipse point. I have some concerns about domestic terrorism happening in the US, but perhaps this may just be about an uptick in the number of COVID-19/coronavirus cases since this will be happening while Mercury is retrograde. (Mercury still might be in Shatabishak nakshatra, but I can’t remember since I haven’t looked.)

Back to Megs, in her Vedic chart, her natal Mars is in Gemini (Ardra nakshatra) in her 12th house. This is why—as far as I’m concerned—she can only do things for about 2 years. Mars has approximately a 2 year orbit in astrology. Gemini is mutable air. Air signs generally tend not to be good placements for Mars—depending on a variety factors though—since the fire of Mars cannot be sustained long-term by air. It burns out. If her Mars had more beneficial aspects then she probably would be able to sustain energy and focus longer than 2 year, but instead she just has Saturn aspecting it. (It’s almost like she decides to shift every time she has a Mars return, except it’s not that exact.)

There is another Pluto/Jupiter conjunction in early July, but not quite as close to Meg's descendant as the one in early April. This one is about 29 degrees Sagittarius/UttaraAshadha. (29'58" according to my software.) It's pretty close to the Queen's ascendant though since her ascendant degree is 28 degrees Sagittarius/UttaraAshadha. I don't think this indicates her dying, but I suspect there will just be changes involving her and how she handles the monarchy going forward at this point. Given some of the things I've mentioned regarding Charles' chart, could just be pointing to a regency of some sort.

For the upcoming Pluto/Jupiter conjunction in March/April, we'll probably start to see some changes after or starting on March 12. Jupiter will be within 3 degrees of Pluto starting then.

But ‘YES’, it is COVID-19 which has struck the mankind very harshly and has created havoc in the world. Anxiety prevails in the minds of all, may it be the common man or a person of the highest strata of the society, that, what is COVID-19, risk involved, symptoms, precautions to be taken and treatment if any? COVID-19 is a novel virus which is highly contagious and can easily spread through droplets released from sneeze or cough, and the worst part is that it has no known or authentic treatment or medication. But only saving grace available are the precautions, which, if adopted sincerely can save numerous lives. Key to this are social distancing and personal hygiene. Now, what is the story behind this. Astrological Analysis Major planets involved in causing any disaster- Jupiter, Saturn & Mars. Shadow planets involved- Rahu and Ketu. Significance of Jupiter, Mars and Saturn. Jupiter is considered as the planet for growth , expansion, protection , general well being , institutional wealth ( national assets , stock markets ). It expands the results of the house or sign where it is placed. On the other hand Saturn is planet which is significator of controlling excessive growth or speed. These two planets come together once every 20 years and whenever this happens it is marked with financial instability for about 2 years. This trend has been noticed in 1920, 1940, 1960 , 1980 and 2000. If trend continues then this is bound to occur in 2020 as well. In addition the Jupiter-Saturn combination when further combines with Ketu becomes more deadly and becomes cause of epidemics and disease spread. In transit when Saturn aspects or conjuncts with Rahu/Ketu in natal chart, it results in epidemic and infectious disease in the country and if their degree of conjunction is close then it causes mass deaths. In Mundane Astrology Mars is the significator of unnatural and violent deaths, mass murders and mass tragedies. When it conjoins with Saturn or Rahu, it results in earthquakes, epidemics, terrorism etc. Significance of Rahu/Ketu. Rahu and Ketu the shadow planet are regarded as malefic planets among all other planets. They represent violence, disasters, wars or war like situations, deaths due to suffocation, wide spread of diseases, epidemics, mass deaths etc. In fact as per Mundane Astrology, both Rahu and Ketu are karka for epidemics and spread of infectious diseases. When Rahu/Ketu combine with other malefic planets like Mars/Saturn, then these cause wars or war like situations. Historical Experiences. It is a known fact in Mundane Astrology that heavy planets when conjunct result in some major events to occur which bring about an important turning point in the history of a Nation. Following events further substantiate this fact. (a) Jan 1918 to Dec 1920 Spanish Flu. Spanish Flu (January 1918 – December 1920 ) is the last recorded global pandemic, which caused mass deaths worldwide and in addition caused major losses on the global economy front. India under the British rule that time was also badly affected with many deaths across the country. In Jan 1918 Ketu was in Ardra nakshatra and Rahu was in Mula nakshatra and continued until Dec 1920. Also, Ketu the karka for disease & disruptions is placed in Gemini sign with Saturn and Jupiter surrounding it on both sides, this placement signifies contagious and respiratory nature of the killer disease affecting global population and India. (b) 1962 Chinese Aggression. On 5th Feb 1962, Mars (9 degrees) and Saturn (10 degrees) were in Capricorn and Sun eclipse took place. This was indicative of an approaching disaster. And rightly so, China abruptly launched an offensive over India. Moreover, when China’s aggression over Indian territory took place in Oct 1962, that time Saturn & Ketu were in Capricorn, and Mars & Rahu were in Cancer in the Indian transit chart, hence were exactly opposite to each other on the heavily afflicted Cancer-Capricorn axis. (c) Smallpox Epidemic in India in 1974. In 1974 India was hit by one of the worst epidemics of the modern times wherein the country saw approximately 15000 deaths mostly in the states of Bihar, Odisa and West Bengal between the period January to May 1974. During Jan 1974 Saturn was retrograde in Gemini at 6 degree and 32 minutes and was in close conjunction with Ketu which was also in Gemini at 5 degrees and 4 minutes. In addition Saturn was aspecting Ketu in natal chart by previous house Taurus. (d) Operation Blue Star in Punjab. In India’s chart, on 5th June 1984, Saturn and Mars conjunction occurred within 1 degree in 6th house in Libra sign, where Jupiter is placed in the natal chart. This resulted in mass deaths. (e) War Like Situation in Year 2002. In the Indian chart, in the year 2002, there was an affliction of Taurus-Scorpio and Cancer-Capricorn axis. This affliction is a significator of war like situation and would be a problematic affliction always when it occurs. Present Situation India Independence Chart Eclipse Occurrence of eclipse (Solar or Lunar) are considered to have great impact in the Mundane astrology. When consecutive eclipses occur within a fortnight, this causes vast devastation and mass deaths. Such eclipses occurred on 26 Dec 2019 (Solar eclipse) and 10 Jan 2020 (Lunar eclipse). And what followed this astronomical event has been witnessed by all. Transit At present Rahu is transiting in the second house in India’s natal chart and in this second house the natal Mars is placed (in Gemini). Moreover, Rahu has entered Ardra Nakshatra (from 27 Sept 2019 and stay till 22 April 2020). This transit is a significator of massive transformation of a nation and cause mass destruction. However, towards the end of this transit, when Sun is will go to its exaltation point on 13th April, there is a possibility of a bit of relief from the epidemic which may come in the form of development of some medicine or anti-viral vaccine. During the time period from 8th Feb 2020 till 22 Mar 2020, Mars is with Ketu in Sagittarius in 8th house along with Jupiter. In Mundane astrology, 8th house is regarded as the house of destruction and hence, this transit has resulted in vast expansion and wide spread of corona virus. Mercury, which is the significator of communication, is placed in Capricorn with Saturn and it as helped in spreading the disease from one to another. Moreover, Rahu is in Gemini whose lord is Mercury which is posited in Capricorn with Saturn. This placement of planets will cause spread of the infectious disease. In Mundane astrology when Mars conjoins with Saturn or Rahu, it causes epidemics, earthquakes, terrorism acts etc. On 22 March 2020, Mars enters Capricorn and conjoins with Saturn already transiting there and aspect by Rahu. This same combination is reflected in the ‘Sankata Rashi Chakra’ where Saturn-Mars are aspect by Rahu. Moreover, Saturn and Mars would be on the same degree on 31 March. This entire combination would translate into an epidemic. On 30 March 2020, Jupiter would enter Capricorn, and this would slightly bring down the effect of the epidemic. From 1st April onwards there will be slight relief in the present situation. This would further improve after 13th April when Sun will go into its exaltation sign i.e Aries with Rahu which is in last phase of Ardra Nakshatra (Rahu has entered Ardra Nakshatra from 27 Sept 2019 and stay till 22 April 2020. According to Mundane Astrology, Rahu while moving out from Ardra Nakshtra is capable of giving some reward) and this would come in affect in form of some medical breakthrough for curing COVID-19,A hence we can say that from 14th April to 22nd April 2020 will be the ‘period full of hope’. On 30th June retrograde Jupiter enters Sagittarius where Ketu is already posited, here Jupiter is strong and it will expand ill effects of Ketu hence there will again be rise in this epidemic or some other serious medical issues which might be a fallout of this viral infection.
