BTS To Make Special Appearance On 2019 ARDYs: A Radio Disney Music Celebration

BTS will be appearing on the 2019 ARDYs: A Radio Disney Music Celebration! On May 20 local time, Entertainment Tonight published an exclusive report about this year’s event, which was formerly known as the Radio Disney Music Awards. The report shares that Sofia Carson will be hosting and performers will include Steve Aoki as the night’s DJ, Lovelytheband, and Meg Donnelly with Fetty Wap and Andy Grammer. It also announces a special appearance by BTS. At the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards, BTS received three awards and ARMY was also named Fiercest Fans. This year’s event will be held on June 16 in Los Angeles. The nature of BTS’s appearance on the show has not yet been confirmed, however the group will be performing their 5th Muster event on June 15 and 16 in Busan. The 2019 ARDYs will air live on the Disney Channel and DisneyNOW starting at 8 p.m. ET on June 16.

Los Angeles Ballet (LAB), the city's own and only professional classical ballet company, celebrates its Season 13 Gala on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. This year's honorees are Johnese Spisso, President of UCLA Health, CEO UCLA Hospital System and Associate Vice Chancellor, UCLA Health Services who will receive the Global Impact Award and actress and singer Sofia Carson, who will receive the Los Angeles Ballet Ambassador Award.

Los Angeles Ballet is known for its superb stagings of the Balanchine repertory, stylistically meticulous classical ballets and its commitment to new works. It was founded in 2004 by artistic directors Thordal Christensen and Colleen Neary and executive director Julie Whittaker.

Sofia is best known for her role as Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen in the global phenomenon Disney Channel Original Movie "Descendants" and "Descendants 2."
