persona 3 reload not having the answer or femc obviously sucks but i would be lying if i said that i wouldn’t absolutely cheer if they made a persona 4 remake of a similar caliber and they removed all golden content

like persona 4 ps2 is straight up a much better experience than golden cuz 99% of the new content is either bad or superfluous, and there’s a lot of new content in golden

Also while going through old messages, I saw I actually had a dream back in 2021 that Jo came back in LaD8. I mean sure he had "longer hair" and "a new outfit NOBODY liked except me" and was Unserious like RGGJo whereas in the actual teaser he sounds more depressed than ever but I'm still taking credit alright... the vision came to me...

And in a Hell Will Freeze Over Before This Happens I Just Like To Think About It way. I want him in my goddamn party and I have for all of Y7 so it's not related to the new game. I don't care. I want to find out what his favorite flowers are I want to take him to Every Movie and get his commentary on all of it I want to take him out to eat and watch his little itadakimasu animation play out I want to have the most light-hearted and inconsequential conversations and I want him to chime in I want to exhaust every option on his Drink Link I want to unlock his sickass tag-team moves I want to wear True Hero and fight by his side I want to shower him with so much love and affection he won't know what hit him (<- channeling Arakawa tbh)

Character thoughts under cut

Yosuke- I like him but also at the same time I need a 10 foot pole between him and every character that’s not the protag. Also how are you so homophobic when your level 10 social link was one of the gayest things I’ve ever read

Chie- Not a huge fan. Galactic punt go brr? Oh I liked her third semester convo ig

Yukiko- I liked her mostly bc of her social link just bc it was kind of similar to what I was going through at the time. Also good design (I just like characters with black/dark hair)

Teddie- Dunno why everyone hates on Morgana when he’s like a hundred times more annoying. Probably my least favorite character but I also hate that they made me feel for him around the end of his character arc

Kanji- Second favorite character. Aside from how they handled(?) his sexuality I liked everything else about him. I wasn’t a really big fan of the accepting their shadow scenes but I did like his.

Rise- Hi it’s my favorite character. Maybe I just like nav’s I liked her from the moment she claimed her persona and was like I’ll back you up. The whole senpai adoration was bit of a whiplash from that but I loved everything else about her. Also cute design and good voice acting was a plus

Naoto- Again not gonna delve into how they handled the gender issue, but I also liked her. I couldn’t get too far into her social link, but I still enjoyed the parts from the story. I like how she kicks the enemy when she crits lol. Also solid design one of my favorites from the game

Kou- Actually got pretty invested in his social link. Good character

Ayane- She was there ig. I liked her farewell conversation

Sayoko- I’ll see you again

Nanako- sweet baby child

Dojima- I prefer coffee dad but he was solid

Adachi- Unfortunately got spoiled while looking up the deadline for Marie’s social link, but I probably would’ve been mindblown if I wasn’t spoiled. Also unfortunately stuck at level 2 social link bc I just gave up on checking up on him after the first few months

Marie- Standard 2000s tsundere. Didn’t care too much for her including third semester

Ai- She’s… interesting. She’s alright

Fox- a fox

Margaret- wtf was that kiss at the end

Shu- Sorry it took me too long to raise my understanding I barely know you

Lady from the daycare- Didn’t know that you got social links from working until later so I kinda gave up on raising hers after getting her

Death- Sorry abt your husband…? (Didn’t get too far with this one)

thinking about golden which spiraled into a royal kick and i will never agree with new gen players over akc's confidant. you will never understand 11/20 sunday daytime interrogation room "My bond with Akechi has grown deeper..." Justice Rank 8 cutscene where you fucking die and your parents come home with groceries and see you look lifeless in front of the ps3 wondering if that was a bad enough ending you got an animated cutscene in the first place
