Xavier is a trans guy.
Corey took Mason's last name because his parents suck.
Jasmine is the same age as Isla and Camden, Xavier is a year younger than the three of them

Teen Wolf (2023) Movie Thoughts (Mostly Ranting)
Mainly, I'm disappointed.
First here are the things I'm neutral about/did like:
I honestly thought Liam was Stiles at first. It could just be me, but Sprayberry strongly resembles O'Brien, and Liam came across more like a mature, collected Stiles than a grown Liam in that first scene.
For all the issues I have with Derek's storyline, I did like both the writing and the acting presented dad!Derek. I liked the fact Derek is helping out law enforcement when there's fires being set around Beacon Hills.
Unfortunately, this is pretty much all I liked, and to be clear, mistaking Liam for Stiles is something I'm neutral about. I didn't particularly care one way or another about Liam in the movie, and I was fine with Stiles not being in the movie.
Liam's girlfriend is another thing I'm neutral about. I'm not going to hate on an actress for accepting a job when another actress was done dirty. I didn't dislike this new character, but I didn't see anything that made me interested in her, either.
Now onto what I didn't like.
For all I liked dad!Derek, it rubbed me the wrong way that there was no mention at all of Eli's mother. It seemed pretty clear to me that Eli was Derek's biological son, and so, this is not a case of single Derek adopting a kid, which, I'd be totally down for.
Look, was he married? Is he divorced? As much as I usually hate the trope of dead mothers, is she dead? Did he have a one-night stand, and she handed the baby over with explicit instructions to never contact her? Did he get involved with another horrible woman, and there's a court order stating that, if she comes within hundred feet of Beacon Hills before Eli is eighteen, she'll be arrested?
Moving on, I could unhappily accept complete lack of Corey, but Mason as a cop?
No.
Nope.
Uh-uh.
This is like if Lydia was a deputy.
Bear with the jumbled way I try to express this.
Sheriff Stilinski and Parrish are both intelligent men. In this universe, maybe, BLM doesn't even need to be a thing, because, the justice system is largely fair and about actually protecting people.
If so, then, the police would be essentially a blue-collar job, and I absolutely do not intend to demean honest, hard-working blue-collar workers.
Mason had an insanely high GPA, he genuinely loved science, was a bonafide bookworm, and there were hints he was from an upper-middle-class background.
If he decided on the justice system, he'd be a lawyer or some type of specialist, but I really doubt he'd decide on the justice system in the first place.
He wasn't particularly athletic, and while he wasn't one to naturally challenge authority, he wasn't one who would try to uphold authority, either. Yes, he wanted to help people, to protect them, but he was more, 'let's figure this out so that I can get back to kissing my boyfriend, working on my grades, and learning all this cool stuff about my friends,' than anything.
But moving on, I wish I could have liked the Ethan mention, but it's not great when a person goes to a dangerous place to put themselves in danger without telling their significant other, and it's even worse when they decide to do all this despite knowing that their significant other has big, big problems with them doing so.
Assuming Ryan Kelley or whoever that bare-bottom belonged to was okay with their naked bottom being shown and touched on TV, then, yay for equal opportunity fanservice, but ugh to Parrish/Malia.
Ugh to Malia apparently going by the surname Hale now.
I could have been on-board with Harris' return, but the movie had to frell that up.
I accepted a long time ago that Harris being Jackson's biological father wouldn't happen, but it's canon that Harris showed genuine concern, possibly even affection, for Jackson.
And of course, his motivation is that, like almost all the villains, whether correct in doing so or not, he blames Scott for his pain and suffering.
I wouldn't say Adam Fristoe was bad, he does seem to be a good actor, but aside from all my problems with Harris' role, I felt as if Fristoe was playing a way different character than Harris ever was.
Random, but when I first the line, "They call me Mister Tibbs," I thought, 'But the character is a detective.'
I had a similar thing when Peter referred to Deaton as 'Mister' Deaton. He is a licensed veterinary doctor.
The thing is, I honestly don't think this was a race thing with Deaton, but that's where my mind went.
Finally, onto Allison.
This had the potential to be great, but it wasn't.
Erica and Boyd were never brought up. So, everyone going on about how Allison wouldn't harm a fifteen-year-old boy- how old was Boyd when Chris himself said, paraphrased, 'Caught came awfully close to kill.'? Erica was sixteen when Allison shot an arrow at her whilst she was lying on the ground from another arrow shot.
Whether Allison ever truly felt bad for contributing to Erica's death or whether she was just horrified she became this person she recognised as immoral due to manipulation was, arguably, never made clear in the series.
That could have been explored. Has everything made her a coldly practical person who is determined never to cross certain moral lines and to follow this path of being a warrior, or is she a passionate, empathetic person who is trying to heal from the mistakes she wishes she could take back but knows she can't?
Chris had a line about how he'd kill to protect a fifteen-year-old boy, but whether he actually did hold a gun to Scott's head to get Allison to agree to stop seeing Scott or that was unreliable narration, he did do a lot of other things to make it clear that teenage shifters were lesser in his eyes.
And I'm still convinced, if he could have, he would have locked Lydia in his basement after her fugue state until she either died from a combination of starvation, dehydration, and possibly infection, or until she turned, whereupon he either would have killed her or secretly deposited her in Eichen's.
In the end, it was all about Scott/Allison, not about Allison rediscovering/reclaiming herself.
This is minor, but Scott not knowing what 'wistful' means was stupid. I didn't buy that.
That's all for now.
Fin.

Liam has to take care of a very important matter. And there is an invitation...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Liam immensely enjoyed working for Ellie. She was happy to show him her craft, teach him things, but she was also very easygoing, and as long as she saw him trying, she loved him and was thrilled with his performance. Also, Ellie knew about the supernatural, so she completely understood when he looked at his phone after it chimed with a text, just in case his pack needed him. Not that anything had come up in the few weeks since Liam started working for her, but he liked to have this option. He didn't have to hide anything, and Liam realized how much better he felt with that.
When work was slow, they talked about a lot of things and Ellie taught Liam some things about supernatural creatures. She had laughed loudly at the story about the fairies in their garden and proceeded to elucidate the different variations of fairies and elves. There were plant fairies, water fairies, sun fairies, and almost that many elves classes. Just like there were different weres out there. Liam felt kind of silly he didn't know about any of this and one day voiced his thoughts. Was he simply ignorant or just blind?
"Neither. You're from a town where none of those things exist. Don't blame yourself for that", Carlie said. Carlie was one of Ellie's three best friends, the other two being Libby and Simone. All three were at Ellie's age and the friends had a weekly meeting at the shop where they sat together, talked about their lives, drank tea or coffee, and ate cookies. Carlie herself was a petite woman with short spiky hair and big square glasses. From what they had told Liam upon first meeting, they all were elves but Liam secretly suspected Carlie of being a pixie. She was cheeky, witty, always said what was on her mind, and her eyes sparkled with mischief. Needless to say, Liam liked her. "Yeah, but I also feel like I should know more." "You know enough. About Onis and Berserkers and Kitsunes and hell and other terrible things. You're twenty. Most guys your age know how to party and wear their base caps the wrong way." She bit into a cookie. Liam laughed. "My boyfriend likes to wear his caps the wrong way. He looks hot with it. But he also knows other things." "You have so much time to learn still. Don't worry. Even we old ladies don't know about any supernatural being out there", Simone comforted him and filled her cup with some more tea. She was the opposite of Carlie; tall, thin, and the quietest of the bunch. "I also agree with Carlie, you know about terrible things, traumatic things, things one should not know about. Especially not this early in life. But unfortunately, trauma is also experience. " Liam made a face. He sat down on the armrest of one of the chairs Ellie had placed around. "I just could have lived without some of those experiences. I mean, I could have gone without the experience of being homeless but hey. Maybe that's just me." Ellie put her arm over the backrest of her chair and turned to look at Liam. "When have you been homeless?" They talked about a lot of stuff but Liam's life story, she only knew parts of it. Good parts. He didn't want to deliver sob story after sob story. Liam had a good life, he knew some people had it worse. He cherished that. Now he exhaled loudly through his nose and then he told the four women how the hyenas came into town and caused havoc, how they finally destroyed the house and left the pack picking up the pieces. He ended with the move to the new house.
After he finished, his listeners were shocked. "You experienced all this and you still find it in yourself to be such a happy and polite young man?" Libby asked in awe. She was usually full of life and laughed loudly, her afro curls always bouncing around her round face, but now she was stunned. Liam shrugged. "What's the option? Turning bitter? It worked out in the end. Doesn't mean I will ever forgive them for what they did but no one died, at least." "You are a terrific young man, Liam", Ellie praised. He smiled softly. "Thank you."
The store door opened and Angela, Ellie's oldest daughter, stepped into the shop. She was a lawyer and used her breaks to visit sometimes. She greeted everyone happily and hugged her mother. Liam ran to get her a fresh cup and dragged another seat to their circle so he should sit and interact with the group. She squeezed his arm in a silent thank you as she sat down and accepted the cup. "What were you guys talking about? Is everything okay?" She asked good-heartedly. "Liam just told us about those horrible, horrible hyenas who destroyed his house" Libby filled her in. Angela raised both eyebrows. "I hope none of you were harmed." "Everybodys fine. We managed to get out in time before the house exploded. I'm just grateful I got my brother out of town before it happened." "Oh, you have a brother? I didn't know that." Angela loved kids and had specialized in family rights. She claimed she liked to help kids get justice. "Hm." Liam nodded. He walked to the cash register where he left his phone and while he walked back searched through his pictures. "Landon. He's almost ten." She showed her and the rest of the women the picture and they all cooed how much alike the brothers looked. "You said you brought his out of town? So I take he's usually living with you? Your parents must appreciate such a tight brother's bond." Angela was surprised but happy. Liam hesitated. "Landon's not my mother's son. We're half brothers. Same dad. Well, father. Sperm donor. My biological father is...he's a piece of shit. Alcoholic. Abuser. You get it. I didn't even know Landon existed until we met months ago by a pure coincidence. The circumstances don't matter but in the end, Theo and I took him home with us. Not a chance I would have let him stay with that man. So he lived with us in the house. Until I brought him to the lake to keep him safe. He lives there now." Liam missed Landon terribly but they were all still so young, they could not care for a child properly. Byron and Lana were perfect for that task and Landon also liked them. He blinked. "But enough of sad stories. Let's talk about something different, okay?"
****** He was cleaning up after Ellie's friends had left. After he had basically pleaded for a change of topic, the talk had revolved around lighter topics and ended on a very funny note. Now Ellie was in the back, doing some accounting, and Liam manned the front of the store. Angela was the only one still there. Now she stepped to the cash register where Liam was currently filling some jars with bagged candy. "I'm going to tell you something, not as a friend but as a lawyer, okay? And I need you to listen." She looked serious and Liam tensed. What happened? "Did I do something wrong? Is your mother mad at me?" "No. But listen." She tapped both index fingers on the counter. "You need your biological father to sign his rights over to you as fast as possible. What you said about him, having him in Landon's and your life is dangerous and not good for either of you. So you need to act fast. Have him make you Landon's legal guardian." Liam frowned. "I planned on doing so once I turned twenty-one. I wasn't aware I can do it now. Thought I had to be twenty-one." Angela shook her head strictly. "No. You need to do it now. In most states, anyone who is eighteen years old can become a guardian. Look, who tells you your father agrees to it in a year? He still holds guardianship and can make decisions for your brother. If he does not sign over his rights, he has so much time to cause harm. You said Landon's almost ten. That means another eight years of having the right to decide about medical procedures, school enrollment, the living situation. Even if Landon stays with you, all it takes is somebody checking who is the legal guardian for Landon. Could be school, could be a doctor's office, or if he gets in trouble it could be the police. If he's in the hospital. For eight years, you have to always fear for this to happen. If your father does not sign his rights over." "If he does not do it on his own, I will take him to court." Angela shook her head even more firm this time. "Honestly? They will ask you where Landon lived for the past year. Legally, what you and Theo did was kidnapping. If you manage to get a strict judge, that alone will cause you to lose the case. Landon will get sent back to his father and you're probably not even allowed to see him. I told you, I'm not telling you this as a friend. As your friend, I understand why you did it, as a lawyer I have to inform you about this likely possibility. The only chance you have is to have your father make you his guardian." It was a hard pill to swallow and Liam gulped. He had been naive, he realized now, and considered it all easier than it was. And maybe Landon had to pay the price for his neglect. "Thank you, Angela", he mumbled sadly.
****** Liam sat in his car and watched the house across the street. The sun was beating down and these barren landscapes made the air even drier. The dusty roads stirred up sand whenever a car raced by. Bleak. He cast a look at the passenger seat. All documents he needed were laying there, including a pen. Now all that Liam was left to do, was get out of the car, walk up to the door, and get a signature. Angela's stern talk from days ago had left Liam rallied. Once he was home, he had told Theo about everything and the couple had to admit them taking Landon out of the house had been a stupid move from the legal point of view. They had emotions get the better of them and now this potentially harmful situation had arisen. Theo had supported Liam in whatever was needed to ensure he would become Landon's guardian but the Beta was also not a lawyer and as much at loss as Liam.
Thank god for Angela. She had helped Liam set up the documents Emmet had to sign and those documents Liam grabbed now when he exited the car. Theo was not with him, his boyfriend didn't even know Liam was here. Nobody knew. This, Liam felt, was something he had to don his own. Maybe to find a deserving ending. Maybe to test his control. Or maybe this was stupid but then again, Liam could proudly admit he was doing stupid crap now and then. Stiles, according to his own claim, could show Liam a list.
He let out a shaky breath when he walked through the unkempt front lawn. Some new beer bottles and cans had gathered around the chair. Emmet was not there but Liam heard his heartbeat through the ajar window. You're not going to kill him, Liam. He does not deserve you getting your hands dirty. Liam knocked at the door. Inside the house, he heard some bottles falling and Emmet's slurred voice mumbling.  Then scuffling steps and the door opened. And the young Alpha had to gasp and take a step back. "God, you stink!" The stench of booze, beer, and sweat made him almost gag. Disgusting, his man. "You. What do you want?" Emmet slurred angrily and grabbed the door for support. Liam turned his head away and took a few breaths. He willed his nausea down and turned to face his father. "How long have you been drinking, alkie?" "What do you care? Why are you even here? I don't want you." "Trust me, I don't want you either. But I need something from you and that means I have to come here. I would rather be somewhere else, believe that." "What? Want money for the little gremlin? I'm not giving you a dime." Emmet swayed on his feet. "I don't need your money. Go inside, before you fall flat on your face. I'm not catching you." Liam pointed inside the house. His father made a step towards him. "I should beat the crap out of you for talking to me like that and not stop til you're whimpering. Do you know who I am?" "A sorry excuse for a worm." Liam pushed his biological father by the shoulder and he stumbled back. As drunk as he was, he didn't stand a chance against an Alpha.
Emmet was taken by surprise but managed to catch himself at the table. He spewed a few curse words in Liam's direction before he shuffled around and fell on one of the chairs with the grace of a sack filled with potatoes. Liam closed the door and followed inside. His nose twitched and he wanted to retch at the smell and how dirty everything was but he kept himself from it last minute. This was not for him, this was for Landon. "How's your mother? Still wailing about how horrible I am? The slut should be lucky an honest man wanted her." "My mother is neither a slut nor are you an honest man. Don't mention her or I break your nose." Liam felt his anger building up. This was a test for his control and he might fail it. "Piss off! She's the reason you're such a weak bastard. Wonder what happened with the other one. He's just as weak. Cried whenever I hit him. Begged me to stop. Just like you. Oh, I remember you. Your mother screamed and cried when the ambulance came. I would have left you on the ground. Would have taught you a lesson." "I didn't need a lesson, I needed a father who loved me!" Liam slammed the papers on the table. "Here! Sign this!"
Emmet grabbed it after a few tries and dragged it over the table. He narrowed his eyes at the print. "What should I sign?" "Those are the papers for you to make me Landon's legal guardian. Sign and we're out of your hair forever." Liam balled his hands and felt his fingertips itch. His claws wanted to come out, his wolf furious at the man in front of him. Years of pent-up rage welled up and dared to spill over. He could kill Emmet and probably nobody would shed a tear. Laughter disrupted his thoughts. Emmet had left the papers on the table and laughed. It boomed in Liam's ears. His blood rushed through his veins. This man was mocking him. "If you really think I'm signing this crap, you're mistaken. Know why? Because you bastard want me to and you get nothing from me!" Emmet was still laughing but decided to underline his words by spitting in Liam's direction. It landed on the carpet between them. His claws almost broke through and he was ready to lunge but a voice in his head stopped him. No. Not like this. Not him. Maybe it was his wolf who was even stronger than Liam's human side burdened with IED but it was enough to make Liam pause. If you kill him, you'll never become Landon's guardian. Keep the little one safe.
Liam exhaled loudly through his nose and closed his eyes for a second. If even the animal inside him knew better, he would follow. Had to follow. All for his little brother. Landon didn't deserve a murderer for a hero. He opened his eyes and stared at Emmet. Suddenly Liam was seven again, cowering at the floor while his father screamed at him and walked closer and closer. He had put his arms up back then, in a feeble attempt to shield his body from the hits, and pleaded for the man to stop. Fear. Panic. Pain. But this time Liam didn't feel panicked. He was not afraid of this drunkard calling himself a father. Instead, Liam felt disgust and maybe even pity. This guy had nothing to live for. It gave the young Alpha a strange sense of calm. Out of the two of them, Liam was the better man. The better person. IED or not. The condition didn't rule him as much as it ruled his father, and Liam had quite a lot more on his plate.
He sat at the opposite of the table and took the pen in his hands. "And why wouldn't you? What's in it for you? Just to be petty? Just to put one over on me?" Emmet snickered. "It will bug you forever, that's good enough for me." He reached for a bottle of booze and uncorked it to take a swig. Liam glared at him. Then he put the pen down. His glance landed on his bracelet. The bracelet he shared with Theo. Suddenly, he got an idea. Maybe it was time to see if he could take a book out of Theo's playbook. He raised his head and crossed his arms on top of the table. "Okay, fine, don't sign. We will play your game. I will send Landon back to live here." Emmet eyed him. "You're bluffing." "Not at all. He will come and live with you again. But be aware. I will be around every damn day." "And then what? What will you do? Punch me? You're no match for me", Emmet sneered. "If you lay so much as one finger on him, and we both know you will, I will call the cops on you. They will come and they will arrest you for domestic violence. And yes, Landon may be sent to foster care but I will make sure you will be sent to prison. There is no booze, no beer, no schnapps in prison. But the people there love people who abused kids. I know people and I will make sure every inmate knows what you did to two little boys. That's what will be awaiting you. No freedom to get wasted like you're doing now every day. Think about it." His biological father still eyed him suspiciously. "No way you would ever let him live here again." "To get you locked up, I would do other things. Landon too, by the way. All to make sure you will rot in hell. He's tough, he will take whatever you might to do him. Maybe I will move in as well. One happy family. With me comes my boyfriend, obviously. By the way, how's your hand?" He looked at Emmet's fingers wrapped around the neck of the bottle. Father and son stared at each other, accessed each other until Emmet snorted. "Your mother raised you better than this. I call bluff. You don't have it in you, weak shit!" A cold, dangerous smile appeared on Liam's face and he leaned closer. "You call my mom a slut and other horrible names, yet you forget I also inherited DNA from you. We both have IED. Wanna find out how much more alike we are? If I'm as cruel as you are?" He gave his father a death glare. "You want to start a war? I'll raise you World War III. Your choice. Either don't sign and feel the whiplash or sign and you will never have to see us again." Liam placed the pen on the papers and waited. His heart was thundering inside his chest. That was not his usual way to carry on negotiations and he had no idea if it worked. Theo made it always seem so easy and pulled it off without a hitch. But Liam knew he was not that good. Emmet grabbed the pen and fiddled with it. He scribbled his signature at the marked fields, an unruly chicken scratch but his signature nonetheless. "Get the hell out of here. If I see you on my front lawn again, I will shoot you." Liam's hand shot towards and he pulled the documents towards himself after the last signature was done. "I have better people to be around than you. Give your liver a break once in a while." He got up just in time as Emmet's hand shot towards his throat. The alcoholic missed by far and his hand thumped on the table. "Fuck off, you piss baby!" The sound of the splintering bottle hitting the wall was the last thing Liam heard from his father when he now left the house without so much of a goodbye.
It only dawned on him what just had transpired when he was in his car and already on the road. Liam stopped at a red light and breathed a sigh of relief. "Holy shit!" He had faced Emmet Dunbar, that one man he hated with a burning passion, the one who had made his childhood horrible and hurt Liam, Ilona, and Landon so much. Against what he had wanted to do to him, Emmet had left the meeting completely without a cut, Liam was incredibly proud of himself. Even though now, that everything settled, his hands shook and his heart raced, adrenaline pumping through his body. That had the potential to go so, so wrong and yet Liam stood tall. He glanced at the papers safely sitting on the passenger seat. Not only had it worked out without Liam losing his temper, but it had also really worked and he was Landon's guardian. The threat of Emmet interfering with their lives and taking Landon away again was erased. Liam wanted to cry.
His phone chimed and Liam almost hit another car. "Jesus Christ!" He accepted the call over the speaker. "Hey, Theo." "Hey. Say, just out of curiosity, where the hell are you? Nobody knows where you left. It's not like you to disappear like that. What's going on." Liam bit his lip. "I was at Emmet's." "Emmet? Emmet Dunbar? Your father? What the fuck! Is he still alive?" "Shh, let me explain. I told you about what Angela said and I went to get his signature. Yes, he's still alive, I didn't touch him. Even though I wanted to." He heard Theo closing a door and birds singing in the background. "Why didn't you tell me? I would have accompanied you." Yeah, good question. Liam didn't know for sure. "I guess...I needed to burn this bridge alone? Prove to myself I can stay calm around him. I'm not like him in any capacity and while I know you and I absolutely adore you for always being there for me, this was something I had to do alone. You understand? Maybe for my own peace of mind, I dunno." Theo was silent for a few moments. "Yeah, I understand", he finally confessed. "Did it work, at least?" A smile broke out on Liam's face. "Yep. Have all the signatures I need. Thanks to you as well." "Thanks to me? What did I do?" "Well, let's say you're a good teacher, even if you don't want to be one. I'll tell you everything once I get home, okay?" Theo laughed. "Okay. Love you." "Love you too."
****** Landon's face appeared on the screen in front of Liam and as soon as he had a picture, the child waved animatedly. "Hello, Liam!" Videocalls were a good way to keep in contact even if they could not see each other in person. Liam happily waved back. "Hey, Landon, how are you?" "I'm good. Zack and I built a fort." Landon launched himself into a story of all the things his best friend and he had done. Lana and Byron appeared in the background of the call but they simply waved and let the boy talk. Liam put his chin in the palm of his hand and listened with a smile. Seeing Landon so carefree and hearing about him being a normal child was all he ever wanted. It came nine years too late and Liam knew his brother must have been affected one way or another by his upcoming but now that he was out of Emmet's claws, Landon was in for an amazing life. After he was done, Landon asked about Liam's life in Seattle. Now it was the older's turn to talk about college, his pack, the fairies (Landon loved this part and he asked thousands of questions). Theo had joined Liam for a while and laughed softly. "He's like you", he whispered into his mate's ear and kissed Liam's cheek before he disappeared out of the frame again after a wave in Landon's direction. Liam chuckled but then he finished his story. "One more thing, Landon. You know we took you away from Emmet, right?" Landon shivered at the mention of his father's name but nodded bravely. "Do I have to go back? Please, don't make me go back!" "No, no, hey, I would never. That's why I'm telling you. He signed all the papers. I am your guardian now." Lana and Byron appeared left and right from Landon. "He did? Oh, how wonderful, Liam." Lana was touched. Landon scrunched his nose. "What does guardian mean?" "It means Liam is responsible for you now and Emmet can never hurt you again. Say you want to go on a class trip, for example, the school has to ask Liam and not your father anymore", Byron patiently explained to him. Landon considered. "So, he can't get me?" "Never again. He's out of your life for good", Liam promised firmly. His brother beamed at the adults. "That's amazing!" "Yeah, it is." Lana stroked through his hair. "But, Sweetie, you have to get ready for bed now. Tomorrow's a school day." "But I want to keep talking to Liam. I'm not finished." Yes, Landon could be stubborn. "We can talk tomorrow, Laddie. After school, yeah? Now you have to get ready for bed. Sleep is important. I'm going to bed now too. Theo does too. See?" He rolled to the side and tilted his screen so Landon could see Theo brushing his teeth with the bathroom door open. Theo waved. It wasn't that he actually wanted to go to bed but he had tried some licorice Mike had brought home, not from Ellie though, and after eating it Theo claimed to have a bad taste in his mouth. Landon huffed. "But we talk tomorrow", he insisted. "Werewolf promise." Liam raised his hand solemnly to swear. "Good Night, Laddie." "Good Night, Liam. Good Night, Theo." Landon stood up. "Good Night, you two," Lana called out and then disappeared with Landon.
Byron sat on the desk chair. "I know he signed but did the meaning with your father go well?" "It did. As well as possible with this man. I was pretty surprised at my control. At a certain point, I was ready to snap but somehow my wolf made me pull back and I got more level-headed." "That's the Alpha in you. Even if our personality or our urges say otherwise, sometimes the Alpha part can balance it out to keep the peace. It is impressive how well you learned to work with your wolf." The praise was nice because Liam tried. Sometimes it felt like all he did was running in circles but then he proved to everyone (and mostly himself) he was a good person and improving. "Speaking of Alpha and peace, Liam I forwarded an email to you just now. Have a look at it, maybe Theo should do so as well."
Theo had dried his mouth and now walked over to lean on Liam's chair while Liam opened the mail Byron had forwarded. It included a word document and when Liam opened it, it turned out to be an invitation to a meeting held in a hotel in Seattle. "Liam, part of being an Alpha are pack politics." Liam whined. "I told you I'm not good at that! What is this? An Alpha congress? I can't go there." "Maybe let the man talk before you cut and run", Theo suggested and smoothly avoided the contact between Liam's elbow and his stomach by moving aside. "I know what you said, Liam, and this is no pressure but I wanted to inform you. The invitation is indeed for an Alpha meeting. No congress, just a few Alphas coming together and talking." "About what?" Liam saw himself on a stage, in front of hundreds of Alphas, a whole auditorium filled with them, and making a fool out of himself. People would laugh. It would be a degrading experience. "Life. This and that. No one is expecting a speech from you, Liam. See I've been to a few of those meetings. There are only packs living close by attending these meetings. They're mostly boring. You stand around, do some small talk, maybe eat a quick snack, and leave. But they can also help you get a better idea of which packs are around yours. In the area. It can be interesting, if only so for scouting. But, of course, that does not mean you have to attend. It's no declaration of war not to go there. Just like you cannot declare war by saying a wrong word if you go." "Those are all Alphas, experienced Alphas probably, and then I show up. Junior McJunington. What will they think?" "Screw what they think. So what if they're older or more experienced? You're you and that's awesome" Theo passionately declared. "Thank you, Dr. Seuss", Liam hissed. He frowned and scratched his cheek. "I have to think about this." "As it is your right. Don't do anything you're not comfortable with." "If I should attend, there will be no problem? I can just show up there?" "The invitation is addressed to the Alpha of the Morning Dew Pack. They seemingly didn't get the memo about the change in our pack but that doesn't matter. The invitation is for you, not for me. Actually, no Beta can attend the meeting. And no Alpha mate either unless they're specifically invited." "I have to go there alone??" Liam shrieked. In his mind, he had Theo by his side. Maybe Brett and Caden since both could be real charmers and have intellectual conversations. Corey would have also a good match despite him being as insecure as Liam in those settings. Byron rubbed his hands together. "Those are the rules. But I know, alone or not, you will be just fine. Should you go or not. This is not something I can do for you. The decision is all yours. Just one more thing, to be fair. you will be the youngest in this group. By a few decades, I suppose. That's why I don't think they will pay you much attention. They're just curious." "Great", Liam said sarcastically. "Given my track records with strange Alphas so far, this will be a marvelous experience."
****** "I don't think you should go. What if that's a trap?" Tim worried about Liam's safety. Liam had informed his pack about the invitation right the next day and after classes, they were sitting in the living room and discussing this. "I think he should go. Just to check the others out. Maybe he can make allies?" Brett opposed. "I also think Liam should go. Byron said he has been to a few of those meetings. I don't think it's a trap", Sadie tried to dissolve Tim's worry and he gave her a grateful look. "The two strange Alphas I met in the last year have both tried to kill me. You understand I'm not keen on walking in a room full of unfamiliar Alphas?" Liam questioned. "I think that should be the reason you go", Ever stated, "to show all of them you're not afraid. If they plan on messing with you, you will look them in the eye. Maybe then they won't underestimate you." "I just don't see the purpose of those meetings. From what Byron said it sounds pretentious." Corey looked peeved. "Oh, it is", Lori confirmed. "But they are not that rare. I don't think you have to be scared, Liam." She offered a genuine smile. Liem returned it cause he knew she was trying to make him feel better. "What do you mean by not rare?" "Well, they're not, if you have Alphas of the old school" Brett took over from his sister. "Modern Alphas just meet up, talk, like Scott with Satomi. They don't even call it an Alpha meeting and send out fancy invites. Those are practices of the old guard, mostly well-esteemed werewolves who love to use those meetings to gossip. Ever seen those movies with scenes in Gentlemen Clubs? Country Clubs? Those are the people to expect at those meetings. Byron's not that far off when he says they won't spare you a look. You're - and don't take this the wrong way - not their type of person, if you know what I mean." "The Alpha from my parents' pack also attends such meetings. They always gush about the delicious and expensive things they eat there. But this woman also has a rich husband and considers herself playing tennis and golf as labor. So, pretty much pompous, entitled snobs", Sadie said. Maya rolled her eyes. "I also know about those meetings but I'm so glad I never met an Alpha going there before. Eh, no offense, Liam." Liam groaned. "Okay, just the danger of becoming the new hot gossip for the elite wolves around. Yeah, I think I'll pass." "I would still go", Caden chimed in. "It's a good opportunity to get to know how many are around. Do you know that? They invited Byron so their radius must be quite large but how many packs live between Seattle and the lake? Wouldn't it be good to know in case we need help? What if the hyenas come back? Having some werewolf allies would not be that bad."
He had a point. They all did. Liam was still torn. For once because he was afraid of making a fool of himself, then for the reason not to offend another Alpha and start a war, and on top of it, he now came to the realization just how different those Alphas seemed to be. He looked at his boyfriend. "What do you say?" Theo had listened to everything and had made up his mind. "You should go. For all those reasons. Byron said there will not come anything bad from it. He would never let you go to any event if he feared something might happen to you. If he says you can go, I believe him. And yeah, it is a good way to get information. Maybe there are not that many packs around.  But you will only find out if you go." Since most of his Betas said he should go, he considered. Maybe it was a good idea indeed. Only one problem: "If it's that high class, what should I wear?"
Fifteen minutes later Liam regretted that question. He stood in his bedroom while Theo, Brett, Mason, and Sadie sat on his bed. Sadie throned between the other guys, one leg crossed over the other, and looked like she was having the time of her life. Liam was the poor victim and had to model several outfits for the self-proclaimed fashion experts of his pack (he knew Theo could dress good but at this point, Liam felt betrayed) who all had other ideas of the perfect outfit. "That dress shirt is perfect for you. Not too out there but also not too normal" Mason praised Liam's current outfit consisting of black pants and a dark grey dress shirt. Liam hated it. It was not even one of his shirts but one of Theo's Mason had just grabbed. His boyfriend had not protested (see, there was the betrayal) but now shook his head. "That's not the outfit to go." "Absolutely right. Liam, grab the one I hung there." Sadie pointed at the clothes and Liam grumbled but grabbed them and stalked into the bathroom. When he emerged again, he was wearing jeans, a blue slipover with a white button-down shirt underneath. Liam felt like he was a kindergartener dressed by mommy. "Now you look like back in Devenford. Then again, maybe this private school flair is exactly what you need", Brett snickered. Liam glared at him and Theo scoffed before he handed Liam the third outfit. Liam glared at him too for good measure and disappeared into the bathroom again.
The outfit Theo had picked for him, Liam didn't even know where he got it. He had never seen Theo wearing this particular combo. Cloth trousers, a polo shirt and a sports jacket over it. "How the hell do you get this? And why do you get this?" He asked once he emerged from the bathroom.   Interesting, Theo became a bit sheepishly. "I got it for some occasions? Maybe a job interview?" "This is so not you." Liam eyed himself in the mirror. "This is so not me either. What were you thinking, guys? None of your outfits were good." "You wanted us to help you", Mason defended himself. "I wanted to get suggestions, not become your dress-up doll", Liam replied sharply. Sadie sighed. "You're being difficult. Don't you want to make a good first impression?" "A good impression as himself, shouldn't that be the goal?" Caden had walked into the room and crossed the arms in front of his chest. He looked at Liam. "You look strange. Actually, you look like me whenever my aunt visited the family. Horrible." "How do you look when your aunt visits?" Brett had to know. Caden pulled out his cellphone and searched a bit before he handed the phone over. Brett snickered. "Okay, thanks for the laugh. So dapper, oh my. One would not think that since you're almost only ever wearing more casual clothing." Sadie giggled. "Does Ever know you can look like that?" "As a matter of fact, yeah. She doesn't like it. I can relate. But my aunt is quite old-fashioned and conservative. She came to town, we dressed like that, covered up our tattoos, the whole shebang. We just never liked it. Liam doesn't like dressing up either." "Tell me about it. That's a topic we have had since we're friends." Mason rolled his eyes. Liam wanted to glare at him but if he was honest, his best friend was right.   So he raised his shoulders. "I have dress shirts. I just happen to like t-shirts and jeans more." "Hence why I think you should wear that", Caden stated. "You are not like the type of Alpha who wears expensive clothing and the latest brands. You're Liam. We like Liam. Why do you want to be somebody you're not? Just to impress people you probably will never see again after that one time?" "That's true." Even Theo had to admit that. "I know when you're comfortable and you never are when you dressed up to a certain extend." "I still think if the occasion calls for it, you should make an effort", Sadie insisted. "It's not about what you want; it's about what our Alpha wants. Liam goes to the meeting and Liam has to represent himself and our pack. He should do it as his truest self possible", Brett retaliated. She pouted.
But then she got up from the bed and walked towards Liam's open closet. She dug around there for a while before she pulled out a pale blue t-shirt. It was a new one, Liam had only worn it twice and he loved how soft the fabric was, it felt good and comfy on his skin. Sadie handed it to him. "The color makes your eyes pop. That and that one light blue jeans you have. If you walk into a room full of strange werewolves, bright colors make you look friendlier." "That's Sadie. If you can't dress them up the way you want, at least get into chromatics", Brett praised.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quite a Liam-centric chapter but then again he's the Alpha and Landon's brother. And he had to make decisions. Now the question is, what will happen at the meeting? What do you guys think? All I can say is, I'm excited about the new chapter.

Screw it, I made a Newsies/ Teen Wolf because I don't care, Teen Wolf is my all time favorite supernatural tv series and I stand by this.
Key: ☠️= dead, 🌻= alive, 💀= eventually dies, 🌹= dies and comes back to life
So here's my dumpster fire of an AU idea:
Jack Kelly as Scott McCall/True Alpha Werewolf(makes some questionable decisions to help his friends while also doing what's right. Was turned by Oscar)🌹
Racetrack Higgins as Stiles Stilinski/Human/Nogitsune(ADHD, unreasonably intelligent, spaz who is sometimes questioned because of his slight paranoia. Jack's foster brother)🌻
Sarah Jacobs as Allison Argent/Hunter(has a relationship with Jack for a little while until l the werewolf/hunter thing becomes and issue and they eventually breakup)☠️
Davey Jacobs as Chris Argent/Hunter turned Ally(except Davey and Sarah are still siblings instead of father and daughter and Davey eventually ends up with Jack)🌻
Albert DaSilva as Lydia Martin/Banshee(1, I did this because of the red hair and 2, Race and Albert's friendship works perfectly. Kind of a snob, dates Hotshot for a while before Hotshot moves. Extremely intelligent, plays dumb. Realistic.)🌻
Spot Conlon as Derek Hale/Beta to Alpha to Beta Werewolf/Shifting Wolf(they are literally the same person, fight me. Lost his family in a house fire set by Morris Delancey [trust me], helps Jack learn to be a werewolf)🌹
Medda Larkin as Melissa McCall(Badass mom who loves her children but also keeps him in check while almost dying? Yes)🌻
Bryan Denton as Dr. Alan Deaton/Druid(Jack's boss and mentor. Hides his knowledge about the supernatural until he's almost killed numerous times. Acts as a guide for Jack and his friends)
Hannah Veldheer as Coach Finstock/Human(economics teacher, lacrosse coach, cross country coach. Definitely has favorites when it comes to her players, although she does develop into a fair coach who cares about her team. Has a like/dislike attitude specifically towards Race, although it's because Race goes out of his way to prank her. Not completely stable mentally, she probably shouldn't be a teacher, but she also knows the school can't fire her because of budget and such)🌻
Smalls Hunt as Cora Hale/Beta Werewolf(since she's usually Spot's younger sister in most fics. She shows up after years of Spot thinking she died in the house fire)🌻
Oscar Delancey as Peter Hale/Alpha to Beta Werewolf(but he's a psychotic cousin because Peter was actually in a psych ward and fits the description of Psychotic, I promise he's not just called that because he's done a few bad things)🌹(many times)
Warden Snyder as Gerard Argent/Hunter(crazy, obsessive father to the Argent Twins who they have a restraining order against? Yes)💀
Morris Delancey as Kate Argent/Hunter/Were-Jaguar(Davey and Sarah's older brother. Has a brief relationship with Spot, sets fire to the Hale House to kill the werewolves. Gets turned after everyone thinks he died)🌹
Katherine Plumber as Isaac Lahey/Beta Werewolf (Jack's friend, was considered an enemy at one point when she was in Spot's pack, has a brief relationship with Sarah before something, um, happens[I'm sorry], travels to France with Davey briefly before returning to help Jack)🌻
Crutchie Morris as Liam Dunbar/Beta Werewolf (Jack takes him under his wing when Medda takes Crutchie in, accidentally turns him to a werewolf, has I.E.D[Intermittent explosive disorder, meaning when he's angry he's irrational], but he gets it under control with Jack's help)🌻
Sniper Wong as Vernon Boyd/Beta Werewolf (in Spot's pack before she's kidnapped by the Alpha Pack, best friends with Katherine, Smalls, Spot, and Buttons, enemy to friends with Jack just like Katherine)☠️
Buttons Davenport as Erica Reyes/Beta Werewolf(hardcore enemy to friend with Jack, very brief fling with Spot, had epilepsy before Spot turned him, tries to run away with Sniper to escape hunters but is kidnapped by the Alpha Pack)☠️
Jojo de la Guerra as Malia Tate/Were-coyote(was a coyote for years after watching his adoptive family die in a car accident he thinks he caused, becomes friends with Race while in an insane asylum, has a very brief sling with Race, finds out he's Oscar's younger biological brother, one of Jack's best friends)🌻
Ike Guzman as Ethan Steiner/Alpha to Beta Werewolf(Part of the Alpha Pack until he loses his alpha status, wants to be in Jack's pack, tries to prove himself, rational compared to his brother, runs away to England after something happens to his brother, dates Boots before leaving)
Mike Guzman as Aiden Steiner/Alpha to Beta Werewolf(Part of the Alpha Pack until he loses his alpha status, also wants to be in Jack's pack, tries to prove himself irrationally, really likes Albert although Albert shuts him down after some of the things he's done, eventually becomes friends with Albert, redeems himself in the end)☠️
Hotshot Ferreri as Jackson Whittemore/Kanima/Beta Werewolf/Werewolf-Kanima Chimera(dates Albert for the longest time, egotistical, forces Spot to give him The Bite to change him, becomes the Kanima[deadly lizard thing that kills who he's told to], is eventually redeemed and becomes a werewolf, leaves for England after not being able to handle the chaos of his hometown, returns eventually while dating Ike)🌹
Boots Lowe as Danny Mahealani/Human(the chill guy that doesn't know anything about the supernatural until Hotshot tells him, pretend like he doesn't know, is literally the most chill guy you'll ever meet)🌻
Mush Meyers as Jordan Parrish/HellHound(sheriff's deputy, doesn't know about the supernatural until Jack tells him, doesn't like what he is for the longest time, helps save the day Countless times)🌹
Kid Blink as Sheriff Stilinski/Human(Is Race's biological older brother[Race knew Blink couldn't support both of them and he's okay with it, they still act like brothers], doesn't know about the supernatural for so long, chaotic af when it comes to Race, eventually dates Mush)🌻
Finch Cortes as Theo Raeken/Chimera/Beta Werewolf(friend to enemy to frenemy, tries to kill Jack many times, thinks he's doing what's right, sparks rift between Jack and Race because of Race's skepticism of Finch, creates Chimeras to make his own pack, eventually dates Crutchie)🌹🌹🌹🌹(it happens a few times)
Snitch Caspary as Hayden Romero/Chimera(briefly dates Crutchie, apart of Finch's "Pack", frenemy to friend with Crutchie after some childish fighting when they were younger)🌹
Specs Samuels as Mason Hewitt/Human/Beast Host(Crutchie's best friend and support system/ his partner in crime. Sort of like how Race is Jack's partner in crime.)🌹
Romeo Richardson as Corey Bryant/Chimera(foe to friend, dates Specs even when he's considered a foe to Jack and Liam. He can turn invisible on command and can also turn others invisible. He gets kidnapped and nearly dies when creatures known as Ghost Riders attack)🌹
Skittery Goorjian as Brett Talbot/Werewolf(Crutchie's friend to foe to friend. They fight a lot, but eventually find neutral grounds. Becomes a major Ally to Jack.)💀
And I almost forgot the most important character...
Snaps Walcott(Chaz Walcott's Brooklyn alter ego) as Greenburg aka the mysterious character that Coach Hannah always picks on no matter what even though she secretly thinks of them as one of her many Lacrosse children. Never actually seen on screen, only ever mentioned, could be a girl or a guy, the source of most of Coach Hannah's issues, secretly the best character ever.
I'm pretty sure I've missed a couple of characters, bit this literally covers Season 1 to Season 6. I low-key want to write a fic, but at the same time this is so freaking confusing.
Anyway, I hope anyone who loves Newsies or Teen Wolf or Both enjoys although it's confusing! Message me or send me and Ask if you have any questions!!!(make sure you specify that your questions or suggestions are for this AU please)

A mother's worst nightmare - Pack Mom (Part One)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Request: Hi, I love your writing and wanted to request an imagine where the reader is the pack mom, Mason calls her to tell her about the fight between the hunters trying to get him to shift, she races to the school with Derek to see what happened, they take him home and y/n wants to keep Liam at home with her to protect him after what happens - the event affects her and she has nightmares about Liam being beaten to death, thank yooouu xxxx
No matter how many times she tried, she couldn't shake the imagine from her mind. Y/N, Derek Hale's mate and the pack mother to both the Hale pack and McCall pack had seen one of her worst nightmares come to life.
That very night replayed in Y/N's mind over and over again. Liam laying on the ground in a pool of his blood after two hunters from his class beat him to a bloody pulp to try and get him to shift. Mason had seen the whole thing and as much as he tried to intervene the bullies blocked his way and his boyfriend, Corey held him back to stop him from getting hurt. He ran out of the room and called Y/N immediately for help, she wasted no time as she grabbed Derek and they raced to the school to find their pup.
Corey met them at the entrance.
"Corey, where is he? Where's Liam?!" Y/N asked panicking when she couldn't see him in the hall.
"Where is he, kid?" Derek asked him.
"In the classroom, some hunters from our class beat him. I have to warn you, it's not pretty when you get to the classroom." He warned them.
"I don't care, Liam needs me. Take us to him." She instructed him. Corey nodded and lead them to the classroom.
As soon as they there, the students dispersing from the classroom as Coach bellowed orders. Y/N saw Coach Finstock and Mason kneeling down beside Liam.
"Oh my god, Liam!" Y/N cried out as she raced to her pup's side and took him into her arms as tears ran down her cheeks and her heart beat rapidly.
"What the hell happened here?!" Derek yelled in anger.
"Some kids, they're hunters. They were picking on Liam trying to get him to shift and when he tried to control it, they beat him." Mason told them.
"Where are they? The kids who hurt him?" Derek asked getting up.
"Derek no, we can deal with them after but Liam needs us." Y/N told him putting her hand on his arm.
Y/N held Liam in her arms, his blood soaking into her shirt as he gasped for air.
"Liam. Can you hear me, baby? It's mom." She called to him softly as she brushed his hair away from his face and gently stroked his cheek. He tried opening his eyes and could faintly see her. He tightened his grip and whimpered in her arms.
"Hey hey, it's ok pup. You're ok. We're here." Derek reassured him.
"Mom...Dad..." Liam croaked.
"They're both here, Liam. Everything's going to be ok." Mason reassured his best friend.
"We need to get him home before they start asking how he's healed so fast." Derek told them picking Liam up in his arms.
Luckily the hallway was empty since the students were in class as the older alpha made his way out of the classroom carried his bloodied pup.
"I'm coming with you." Mason told them.
"We need you and Corey at the school to make sure no one asks any questions." Derek told them to which they nodded.
"We'll come by after school." Corey told them. Y/N nodded.
Y/N sat in the back of the camaro as Derek carefully placed Liam in her arms. The young beta looked up at her and whimpered in pain.
"Mom it hurts." Liam sniffled. Y/N held him tightly in her arms and pressed a kiss to his forehead.
"I know baby, it'll all be ok. I promise. Just take deep breaths, it's over now." She cooed wiping away her tears.
"I swear I'm going to find those kids and rip them apart for what they did to him." Derek told her as he glanced back at Liam in his mate's arms before going back to concentrating on the road.
"You know for once I don't think I'm going to disagree, Der." She told him sniffling. She wiped away her tears and pressed another kiss to Liam's forehead.
They arrived back at the Hale loft quickly. Derek took Liam from Y/N's arms and headed inside laying the injured beta on the couch followed by Y/N. She headed straight to the kitchen and took out a bowl filling it with warm water and grabbing a small face towel as Derek stayed with Liam.
"Babe, we need to get him cleaned up. Can you get me a glass of water for him and the first aid kit too please?" She instructed him. Derek nodded at her request and headed back into the kitchen to retrieve what she had asked for.
Y/N kneeled down beside Liam and gently wiped away the dried blood on his face.
"Mom...it hurts." Liam sniffled.
"I know baby, I know but you're so brave and what you did today showed just how strong you are. I just need you to rest and focus on healing." She replied and pressed a kiss to his cheek.
"Get some rest pup, we'll get you cleaned up and wake you later for something to eat ok?" Derek reassured him ans gently ruffled his hair.
"Will you stay with me?" Liam asked them.
"We're right here, pup." Derek reassured him as he sat beside him and gently pat his arm as Y/N kneeled down in front of him on the couch and ran her fingers through his soft sandy brown hair and gently stroked his cheek.
"We're right here, baby." She reassured him.
It didn't take long for Liam to fall asleep. Y/N sighed and careful got up and gestured Derek to the kitchen so they could talk. Y/N sat down at the table and couldn't help but let the tears fall.
"Babe, babe what is it?" Derek asked her as he sat beside her and wrapped an arm around her.
"Derek, I can't do this. I've given everything to protect Liam and we get called into his school to find our pup beaten to a bloody pulp laying in his own blood. I can't even unsee that image. It's a mother's worst nightmare." She sobbed resting her head against his shoulder.
"I know babe, I know how upset you are but we're going to do what we do best, we're going to find out who did this and end it once and for all. No one will ever lay a hand on him again." Derek reassured her.
"What's to stop them from doing it again?" She asked wiping away her tears.
"I know I didn't birth Liam ans biologically he isn't mine but deep down in my heart, he is. No matter what anyone says. What we walked I to today broke my heart. I failed as a mother. I told him I'd do anything to protect him and I didn't." She continued to sob.
"Baby, you can't blame yourself. We're in this together. This isn't your fault...." he began.
"Derek, did you not see him? Look at what they did to my baby?!" She cried out.
"This isn't your fault. It's mine, he's always looked up to me as his dad and I failed. The hunters that hurt Liam will pay for it, I promise you. I'll make sure of that." Derek nodded.
"I don't care anymore. We're going to go to any extent to protect him. I don't care what happens, I won't let anyone or anything put our family in danger. I'm so sick of hiding and being scared, we're ending this." Y/N spoke.
"We're in this together babe." Derek reassured her pressing a kiss to her forehead. Y/N wrapped her arms around Derek's neck and held on to him tight.
"Just promise me I won't lose you. I know you, Derek Hale. You'll go to great lengths to protect your family even if it means putting your life in danger. Not this time, you said it yourself. We're in this together." She told him.
"We're in this together." Derek repeated and held his mate in his arms.
"Mom....Momma..." Liam croaked out.
"He's finally up." Derek smiled getting up.
"Why don't you go see to him and I'll fix something up." He told her.
(Ngl I love Derek in a domestic daddy role, I'm swooning writing this haha)
Y/N got up wiped her eyes and gulped down a glass of water before plastering a smile on her face as she went in to see how Liam was doing.
"Hi baby, how're you feeling?" She asked kneeling in front of him.
"Ok, I guess. Still hurts though." He pouted.
"I know honey, it'll take time for you to heal fully, you took quite a beating." She sighed sitting down on the couch next to him as he immediately wrapped hid arms around her waist. It didn't surprise her that he wanted her constantly. Liam often grew needy and clingy whenever he was scared, ill or badly hurt.
"You won't make me go back will you, mom?" Liam asked looking up at her. She could see his eyes were still swollen and his face was still bruised  even though it had gone down quite a bit from earlier.
"No baby, your dad and I are going to have a serious talk about this. Don't worry." She reassured him pressing a kiss to his forehead.
Not long after, Derek walked in carrying a tray with a chicken salad  sandwich with the crust cut off, a glass of apple juice, salted chips, apple slices and a cookie.
"Hey pup, I thought I'd fix you a little something. Do you want to try eating?" Dere asked him. As if on que Liam's stomach began to rumble with hunger making him blush as the couple chuckled. Liam stayed nestled to Y/N's side as he ate his food in silence.
The doorbell rang making him jump, Y/N held him close and hushed him.
"I'll get it. Don't worry pup, it'll either be the Sheriff or the Pack. It's ok." The older alpha reassured him. As expected, Mason and Corey had dropped by as promised. Mason immediately embraced Liam in a warm hug.
"How're you doing man?" He asked him quietly.
"Ok." Liam simply replied looking down at the blanket in his lap.
"Did anyone say anything at the school?" Derek asked.
"No, there was nothing. They all acted as if nothing happened or so we think anyway." Corey replied as everyone nodded.
The boys stayed with Liam keeping him company until late as they watched movies or played video games. It got to 10pm and the boys decided to head home.
"I know it's a stupid question but what's Liam doing for School tomorrow?" Mason asked Y/N.
"I wanted to keep him at home so I could keep an eye on him...why?" Y/N asked curiously.
"It might not be the best idea." Corey began.
"What're you talking about?" Derek questioned.
Mason and Corey both explained how even though the events of the day had shaken them and people were quiet for now but they would still ask questions. They suggested it was best for Liam to go into school and act as if nothing happened.
"Babe, I know you're against this and you don't think it's a good idea but maybe it's what's best...look just hear me out. The boys are right, if Liam goes in then there's no other questions asked. If he avoids school it's only going to raise suspicion." Derek explained. Y/N hated it. She hated the idea of sending him back to where he was beaten into a bloodied pulp but she also knew he was right.
"I hate it when you're right, Der." She sighed.
"But if anything and I mean anything happens, you call me. You call either of us ok?" She pointed to the two of them who nodded quickly.
"We promised." They both chimed. Y/N let out a long sigh before nodding and wishing them goodnight.
She didn't like this, not at all.

You leaned against the lockers watching the students milling around the hallways taking their time to talk to people. As a senior you were saddened that in just a few short months you would no longer be a student at Beacon Hills. You would just be another graduated Tate like your older sister Malia.
When you were a little girl Malia had been in the backseat after losing the straw game that your siblings would do. It was a trip you barely remembered at all other than Kylie angering both Malia and you. Kylie was five years old compared to you at eight years old and Malia at nine years old. It turned into a war that in turn had your mother, Evelyn, lose control at the wheel.
The car rolled into the woods down a hill sending all four of you into unconsciousness. You were the first to wake up to find your mother’s head turned back with her eyes wide open and her mouth opened in a scream. The force had been great on the old car and little five year old Kylie shouldn’t have been in the front. She was thrown out the windshield even with the seatbelt.
Malia and you were the sole survivors of the accident. You ended up making friends with a kind woman in the woods before you were tracked down. Eight years passed before the Sheriff had found a new lead. Eventually you were reunited with the man you thought was your biological father.
You weren’t biologically a Tate, in fact you were the offspring of an alcoholic man and a murderous mother. The story went that your father hooked up off and on with your biological mother thus procreating Malia and then you just a year later. Peter, your father, was arrested for manslaughter and acquitted a few years later. Your mother Corrine was the black sheep of her family and actually shot the car you were in that led to Kylie and your adoptive mom’s deaths. Your maternal biological grandparents had removed her name from their will and instead placed the children of her instead. She would inherit the money if her children died.
“Y/N. Hey!” Liam said coming up to you, “Did you get your classes?”
“I’m hesitant about meeting the guidance councillor.” You admitted, “After the psychotic bitch tried to kill everyone. Seriously what was that?”
“Apparently this guy on probation convinced her, once he tossed her medication, that the supernatural was real.”
“I heard she hallucinated in Eichen House that she had a mass of followers behind her.” You returned shaking your head.
“Liam, Gabe’s looking for you.” Mason said joining the group, “He’s still pissed you won’t step down as captain.”

“Co-captain.” Corey corrected with an awkward smile.
“What?” You asked confused, “I thought you were captain?”

“Some of the guys don’t agree that I should be captain because I’m not able to attend as many practices and a few games. I need to pass with all Bs and As to get into a good college. Nolan is the other captain.”

“Why Nolan? I thought you hated him?” You questioned confused. You have never understood the reason why Liam was enemies with shy fly on the wall Nolan Holloway.
“We talked. Both agreed that we didn’t want Gabe to be the captain of the lacrosse team. Wouldn’t end well.”
“He’s a sadist.” You snorted with a roll of your eyes, “He literally almost stabbed Aaron last year, scarred him so bad he had to be homeschooled.”
“Whoa that’s why? I thought he switched schools.” Mason gawked.
“Gabe actually managed to cause him to mentally break down.” Corey said slipping his hand into Mason’s free one, “Dissociative identity disorder.”
“Damn.” You muttered shaking your head.
“Get to class.” Principal Martin said walking around the hallways that had began to get deserted.
You sent a small smile before continuing into your biology class where the new semester would give you a new partner. You wished it would be one of your friends but everyone knew that Mason and Corey would be together and Liam liked to talk to girls ever since his ex-girlfriend moved away.
“Each lab table with have an engraved plate with a name on it. Find your name and that’s your partner for the rest of the year.” Ms. Finch said taking her place at the front of the class, “A syllabus is also placed at the spot also.”
“I guess we’re partners.” Nolan said sitting at the remaining table with your name plate there. You were surprised Nolan wasn’t stuttering.
“I guess we are.” You chuckled putting your bag on the ground, “Congrats on making captain.”

“Co-captain.” Nolan corrected you, “It’s just to appease the team.”
“But what about Gabe? Aren’t you best friends?”

“Not really.” Nolan replied tugging on the cuff of his blue sweater in distress, “He…uh…he beat me up.”

Your head snapped at his words before you caught sight of the faint bruise dusting his eyebrow and the tiny cut on his lip. You were surprised that Gabe didn’t leave any other bruises on the poor boy. You couldn’t believe that someone would harm such an innocent soul.
“What the hell? Did you tell a teacher?”

“It happened at the hospital. I…uh…tried to tell a doctor that Gabe was there to harm a kid but he knew I was going to be there.”
“I can beat him up.” You grinned.
“Is that how you survived in the forest?”
“Malia cared for me.” You gently smiled thinking your older sister living the live in Paris for the time being. You knew that Scott was anxiously waiting for her to return ever since he pushed her to go traveling.
“Where is she?”

“Paris.” You grinned, “She’d kill me if I said this but she’s a romantic at heart.”

“Malia? The girl that was feral at times?” Nolan asked shocked. It wasn’t terribly hidden that both you and your sister and been found in more animalistic personalities.
“Yeah.” You awkwardly nodded before your attention was caught by Ms. Finch. With a glare she turned around to set out the rules of the classroom.
“Do you want to have lunch with me?” Nolan slowly asked, “Shit, never mind. Of course you wouldn’t want to.”
“Well you did stab Corey.” You bit your lip pondering if it would be a good idea to be with him.
“I apologized for that.” Nolan winced, “I was stressed about lacrosse and Corey made a stupid comment. I don’t know why I did it.”
“One lunch.” You stated, “We’ll see about any more.”
“Awesome!”

“Nolan and Y/N! Just because it’s the first day of this semester doesn’t mean your free to speak. Pay attention.” Ms. Finch snapped placing her hands on her hips. You bit your lip focusing on the paper in front of you instead of the delicious boy sitting next to you.
“Sorry.” You grumbled.
“I expect all assignments to be handed in on the due it’s due or earlier. I’ll give you three days past the due date only for excused reasons but you’ll fail if you take longer than that.” Ms. Finch said brushing her hands off.
The morning passed by rather fast with a few messages from the friends you had developed through Malia. Stiles had become your older brother even after Malia and him broke him up. It was an odd transition to not see them together and instead seeing them date other people in the group.
To: Y/N From: Stiles How’s everything in Beacon Hills? Are you safe?

To: Stiles From: Y/N You’re annoying. Everything is okay, your Dad caught a few criminals. I don’t know why you’re concerned about this town.
You shook your head enough to make yourself dizzy which could be contributed with you being upside down the couch in the library. Out of your element you screamed when your legs were pushed over your head and you were on the ground.

“Ow!” You exclaimed sitting up with strands of hair on your face. Liam stood there snickering to himself as he gracefully jumped over the back to sit down, “What the hell Liam?”

“Prime opportunity Y/N.” Liam chuckled.

“Stiles is spamming me.” You said picking up your pen that had fallen onto your open binder on the table. You started chewing on it when you saw Gabe pushing one of the boys in your grade with no provoking. You didn’t know what crawled up his ass to decide he could go around stabbing people in the hand.
“That’s not surprising and you know it.” Liam replied pulling out his textbook from his backpack, “Can you believe that Ms. Finch assigned homework?”

“I can.” You and Liam looked up to see Nolan walking around to sit between the two you, “Are you studying?”
“Are you going to stab me with a pen now?” Liam barked close to shoving his books on the ground, “You almost caused irreparable damage. Mason and him have been very upset about that.”
“Because Corey can’t grip Mason.” You muttered underneath your breath.

“Huh?” Nolan chimed in not getting your words.

“Handjob.” You plainly replied flipping to the chapter that Ms. Finch had assigned.
“That’s my best friend Y/N.” Liam grimaced.
“And? I overheard Mason praising him when I was walking by the locker room. They left Coach’s office door opened.”
“You had oddly strong hearing.” Nolan supplied.

“I depended on my senses in the woods.” You hummed highlighting a sentence in your book that pertained to the assignment sheet.
“Are we still having lunch together?” Nolan inquired with a nervous expression.
“You’re having lunch with him?” Liam barked with a glare towards the other male. Liam seriously still had a vendetta against the poor nervous boy.
“Yes.”
Taking advantage of the nice weather you quickly walked outside to sit on one of the picnic tables with your food. You just had a plain sandwich, an apple, some crackers and a bottle of juice. You didn’t like the school food, the food had gone down hill over the years.

“There you are.” Nolan chirped collapsing down onto the table beside you. You hummed taking a bite from the sandwich with a cool expression, “Unless you don’t want to eat together. I-I can leave if you want.”

“You’re fine Nolan.” You sighed, “It’s sad to think that we’re going to graduate without making an impact at this school. Our initials will forever be on the shelves but memories of us will fade away.”
“I won’t.” Nolan whispered.

“Hm?”
“I won’t forget you.” Nolan whispered stealing a look at you, “You’re unforgettable.”
“You’re growing on me Holloway.” You chuckled pushing your bag of crackers between us, “Wanna a cracker?”
A bright blush grew on his face before he ducked his head down to stare at his feet. You found it absolutely adorable that he did that. The only problem was that when Malia found out she would insist on if you’ve fucked him yet. Stiles would go on a tangent on how if you even look at boy you should let him run a fun background check. Idiot.
“Do you…do you want to maybe watch a movie?” Nolan stuttered picking at the feeling paint on the table.
“I’d love to.” You giggled shifting your hand to be closer to his. Nolan eased his over until your pinkies were intertwined.
“Awesome!” He gushed racing to get his phone in order to gain your number, “What’s you number.”
“1-800-fuck-off.”
Nolan and you snapped your heads to see Stiles standing there disgruntled with the scene in front of him. You were shooting daggers while he ignored you to glare at Nolan.
“Stiles.” You hissed getting up to slap him.
“You’re actually going to go out with Ghostface wannabe.” Stiles snapped widening his stance to accommodate his hands on his nonexistent hips.
“H-how do you know that?” Nolan whispered pulling his frayed sweater cuffs down on his hands.

“I know everything.” Stiles huffed, “I’m FBI.”
“You’re in the pre-FBI program hotshot.” You spat crossing your arms, “You only know because your dating the principles daughter.”

“He doesn’t need to know that!” Stiles huffed copying your stance, “I for-“
“You finish that and I’m going to cause you bodily damage.”
“You wouldn’t.” Stiles smirked. You lunged close enough he flinched back almost falling on his ass. He was lucky because Nolan was trying to drag you away from your hips, “Okay I underestimated you!”
“You’re my friend. Not my Dad.” You pouted looking at the older male, “Why are you even here.”
“I felt something bad was going to happen to you.” Stiles admitted, “You’re like my little sister.”
“Let me go out with Nolan.” You whispered slowly walking over to Stiles, “I can fight my own battles Sti. I love you but you need to let me grow up.”
“Fine.” Stiles sighed turning his attention to Nolan, “You hurt her and I will get my good friend Derek to kill you. It will be painful and I’ll help cover the murder up.”
Nolan shuddered but agreed to the conditions with a small smile on his face. He’d do anything to make you happy.
“By the way Stiles! Derek isn’t your friend” You called out earning a middle finger, “I can always cut that off and reattach it your toeless foot!”
“Of fuck off!”

Together Theo and I right the overturned jeep while Stiles sits stunned nearby. He hasn’t said a word.
“We should get you to the hospital. You took in a lot of smoke.” Theo tells him as we both study the shell shocked boy.
“I’m fine.” Stiles assures him as he struggles to get to his feet.
“Stiles you’re not fine.” I tell him walking over to help him up. He swats my hand away.
“I said I was fine.” He growls out at me before rising to inspect his jeep.
I step back away from Stiles. I know what he’s going through right now is hard but he didn’t need to yell at me. Theo walks up beside me and runs a reassuring hand down my back. I lean into his touch.
“Suspect in 187 is in custody and en route to station. Suspect's name is Yukimura, Kira.” A voice comes from the police scanner in Stiles jeep.
“What’s a 187?” Theo asks as my mouth falls open in shock.
“Homicide.” Stiles answers as my hand falls into Theo’s. All at once it feels like everything is coming unraveled and the only thing for me to hold onto is him.
-
Theo, Stiles, Malia and I are standing in the McCall living room. Lydia texted me this morning. She and Mason were trying to get information from Corey about the dread doctors. Liam and Hayden had been taken and his memories about where they held him could be the only way to find them. So far they hadn’t been having any luck.
“Scott.” I called to my alpha as he walked in. He didn’t acknowledge me or the others.
“Is Kira okay?” Stiles asked him as he walked past us without a word.
“Scott?” Theo called after him as he raced up the stairs.
Something wasn’t right. I followed closely behind him. I heard Corey talking to Mason and Lydia in the bedroom. He was only on the second chapter of the book.
“We don’t have time for that anyway.” Scott announced as he walked into the room.
“No, Scott. Don’t.” I heard Lydia warn as I rounded the corner to see Scott plunge his claws into the back of Corey’s neck.
“Scott!” I yelled rushing forward to tear him off the boy but Lydia stepped in my way.
“It’s more dangerous if you tear them apart now. All we can do is wait.” She told me. I didn’t like it. This wasn’t who we are. The pack was falling apart.
“It’s not right. This isn’t what we do.” I growled out glaring at the back of my alpha’s head. I heard footsteps in the stairs as Stiles, Malia, and Theo ran up to see what all the yelling was about.
“Don’t get to close.” Lydia warned as the looked on with thinly veiled horror similar to the expression I no doubt wore on my own face.
“What is he doing?” Theo asked.
“Tapping into Corey’s memories. It’s usually something only alphas do.” Lydia filled him in.
“Yeah, Alphas with years of practice and experience.” I added. Theo moved to see exactly what Scott was doing.
“Is it as dangerous as it looks?” He asked.
“Probably more.” Stiles told him.
“Does anyone know if it’s working?” Mason asked. I could tell he was worried about Corey.
Suddenly Scott breaks away from Corey, gasping like the whole time he was in his head he was holding his breath.
“What the hell did you do to me?” Corey asks him appalled.
“You’ll be alright.” Scott assures him as Stiles helps him over to lean on the desk.
“What the hell Scott?” I ask him. He ignores me.
“There’s blood.” Corey notices as he touches the back of his neck.
“You’ll heal.” Scott repeats.
“Scott…” Stiles tries to say something.
“He’ll be fine!” Scott growls out. I snap. I’m across the room in two strides shoving Scott into his bedroom wall. The foundation of the house rattles and I know my eyes are glowing in rage. Scott eyes change to match my own and he lets out an anger filled roar at me. It shakes me to my core but I do not look away. I don’t know what happened but this is not my friend. This is not my alpha. I roar back with everything I have. We stare at each other chests heaving before he breaks the stare and grabs a pencil and paper from his desk. He begins to sketch. I turn away from him to check on Corey.
“Listen. I think it worked. There were tunnels, pipes on the walls. There were two huge blue pipes at the entrance. Two on both sides.” Scott reports as he creates a crude drawing of what he saw. Stiles looks tentatively between us before going to look at what Scott has drawn everyone else stands with Corey and I on the other side of the room.
“I know this, I’ve seen this before. It’s one of the tunnels i used to skateboard in before my dad caught me one time and told me to never go back.” Stiles tells him.
“It’s the water treatment plant.” Lydia pieces together.
“That’s where they are. That’s where we’ll find Liam and Hayden.” Scott realizes. Without another word Scott turns and rushes from the room. The rest of us follow closely behind him.
“Scott. Scott, slow down. Just think for a second okay. Mason shouldn’t be going.” Stiles tries to reason with Scott as he leads the army out.
“Liam’s my best friend. I’m going.” Mason fires back at Stiles.
“Oh did you suddenly get super wolf powers all of a sudden?” Stiles asks him.
“Well if you’re not coming I could use all the help I can get.” Scott tells him.
“No, I’m coming just as soon as I talk to my dad. He’s moving the body. He want’s to make sure that this time no one steals it.” Stiles clarifies.
“How’s he going to do that?” Malia asks.
“I don’t know but whoever took the last one was strong enough to flip my jeep.” Stiles tells her.
“We can bring Theo. Me, you, Mason, Jamie, and Theo should be enough.” Malia tells Scott.
“Who said I was going?” I asked.
“What are you talking about?” Scott asks.
“I’m sorry Scott but after what you just pulled I’m not following you anywhere.” I tell him before turning on my heel and marching back to the stairs.
“What are you going to do?” He calls after me.
“Look after the innocent kid you just assaulted.” I fire back at him over my shoulder.
“Maybe I better stay here. You know in case the Doctors decide to make a house call for Corey. Jamie won’t be able to fight them off on her own.” Theo tells him as I stand with Corey by the stairs.
“Scott maybe we need to slow down and think.” Lydia tries to talk sense into him.
“I am thinking about how Liam and Hayden might already be dead.” Scott tells her.
“You could have hurt him Scott. Really hurt him.” Lydia points out.
“By that she means kill. You have no idea what you’re doing and you’re running around Beacon hills half cocked.” I add.
“I have to find them.” Scott tells me.
“At what cost?” I ask. He doesn’t have an answer. He turns and leads Mason and Malia out the door.
“Text me for anything.” Stiles tells Malia.
“I got it.” She assures him before following after Scott.
-
Lydia wets a washcloth in the kitchen sink as I take Corey’s pain. Lydia cleans the back of his neck. When the washcloth comes away the cuts have healed. I share a look with Lydia.
“It healed didn’t it?” Corey asks us.
“Yeah. Completely.” Theo tells him.
“Alright then. It’s been fun. Especially the part where the werewolf forced his way into my brain with his claws.” Corey tells us before turning towards the door.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea. You know Lydia’s a banshee, it means she can tell when someone’s close to death. Lydia what happened if he walks out that door?” Theo asks her. I almost smirk at Theo’s manipulation.
“It’s bad very bad.” Lydia plays along. I push past Lydia and Theo.
“I’ll take my chances.” Corey tells him.
“Corey wait. What Scott did was wrong. There’s no justifying it. I’m sorry he did that to you and I’m sorry I didn’t stop him. I don’t know what’s going on with him. Or any of us for that matter. Before you knew us we were a pack committed to keeping Beacon Hills safe. Now it seems like everything is spiraling out of control. The line Scott has drawn in the sand has been crossed by everyone now including him. His moral highground is worth shit, but Liam is still in danger. Please, he’s like a brother to me. And when I say that it means something because I don’t have any biological family left, so if there’s anything else a fragment of a memory you can remember that might help us find him please stay.” I beg unapologetically. I can tell it works because I see Corey’s expression soften a split second before he nods.
“What else did you see?” Theo presses him.
“There was the hospital, and they took me out of my room.” Corey begins to recall.
“And then where?” Lydia presses further.
“The tunnels. Like I already told you. That’s it.” Corey insists.
“Yeah, yeah, and nothing after that?” Theo continues to press him for information.
“No.” Corey says sadly.
“There has to be more. Think for one second just think.” I beg him again. He pauses if only to humor me, but I can see it i his eyes as something new starts to surface in his mind.
“What?” I ask not allowing myself to hope just yet.
“There was a basement.” He recalls.
“Where? Like in a building?” Lydia asks him.
“A house. It was old and there was a broken stone wall in it like a bomb went off.” Corey tells us. A smile stretches across my face as I realise I know where he’s talking about.
“The werewolf with the talons the one that attacked Scott. Didn’t Parrish say that it smashed through the wall of a basement? Wasn’t it something like that?” Theo asked Lydia.
“No, it was exactly that.” Lydia confirms. Theo looks to me.
“We’re going.” I tell him before pushing past Corey and running out the door. I can hear footsteps following me and I know Theo is close behind.
-
Theo and I I never slow once we pull up outside in his truck. I kick in the front door of the house from the report and we rush into the basement. Together we go through the hole in the wall. The tunnels we find ourselves in smell terrible. I can’t catch a scent so I reach out with my ears. In the distance I hear Liam’s voice.
“This way.” I tell Theo before leading him down a new tunnel. When I round the corner I see them.
“Liam!” I call rushing forward, Theo next to me.
“Jamie, Theo wait!” Liam calls to us in warning, but it’s too late. We reach out at the same time and as soon as our hands come in contact with the gate I can feel the electricity flowing through me for a second before my world goes dark.
“Jamie? You alright? Theo can you hear me?” Liam asks as I stir. I was only out for a second. My body is getting better at recovering from unconsciousness. I can feel movement underneath me and when I open my eyes I realize I’ve fallen on top of Theo. I move to get off him and rise to my feet before pulling him up with me.
“I’m good.” I assure Liam before looking to Theo.
“You?” I ask him. He nods.
“Can you guys go get help?” Liam asks.
“We are the help.” I tell him before looking back to Theo.
“You go left.” He tells me.
“You go right.” I tell him.
We nod at each other before grabbing onto the gate again. I growl as I feel the electricity run through me, but I don’t let it stop me. Together Theo and I force the gate apart.
-
Theo is driving his truck back to Scott’s house. My body is nearly done healing from all the electrical burns. My head is resting against the window and my hand is in Theo’s. Liam and Hayden are in the backseat.
“Does it hurt?” he asks her.
“Everywhere. I’m not healing. Not like I did before.” I wince at her words.
“It means I’m a failure doesn’t it?” She asks him. I look to Theo. We both already know it does but Liam’s not going to tell he that. I look at him in the rearview mirror. Instead of reassuring her with some bullshit line he leans in and kisses her. I watch the black lines track across his face as he takes her pain.
“It’s gone. The pain’s gone. How did you do that?” She asks him.
“I don’t know.” He admits.
They smile at each other before kissing again.
-
As soon as we get back to Scott’s, Liam and Hayden fall fast asleep on the couch. Scott, Malia, and Mason show up not long after. Theo makes the round hugging them all starting with Scott. I stay where I am studying the true alpha as he looks at Theo. I can smell it on him. The jealousy. He must have noticed that Theo is the one keeping everyone safe now. He;s the one holding the fragments of the pack together.
Scott turns to look at my hard gaze. It doesn’t change when his eyes meet mine. I can tell he knows. He’s not the only one who's noticed.
