Happy Fan Joy July, Oma!!!

Oma, thank you so so much for making Fan Joy July and sharing it with us! Our fandom, our artists, writers, readers, etc have loved seeing or taking part in this crazy challenge.

This is our gift to thank you- from artists all around who were affected by, or got gifts from, or took part in Fan Joy July. We all love you so much- so we made letters/art for this (Zelda themed!). Many said that they had already wanted to make/write you something, and this gave an opportunity.

One of the things I've loved about this month is how community/interaction centered you made it. The challenge was for yourself to make art each day (you absolute maniac /affectionate)- but then others joined. This July we saw or made art or fics with recommendations. Every day you made art for a writer with a scene from one of their fics, and inspired others to do the same, and writers even wrote every day for an artist based off an art piece they made! This led to a month of gift giving- everyone interacting and getting love for creating.

You truly led to a month of Joy for a lot of loz/lu fans- making the name "Fan Joy July" quite accurate

I'm so grateful to all my artists who stepped up so we could do this when I asked- almost 36 hours and 19 artists. The art is like patchwork, with all these different styles, both traditional and digital put together. But that's exactly what happened- we all got drawn together, just like the other month-long challenges. It's so cool how art always connects people.

There are letters based off of the colours/theme of each of the Lu boys- it's mainly Zelda and linkeduniverse themed... but we couldn't not have frogs for Oma! I did a frog, his name is Froggy and I'm very proud.

i feel like sunghoon is really shy when it comes to expressing his feelings, although it doesn’t stop him from telling you he loves you every day.

every week he writes you a letter in neat and pretty handwriting, sometimes just telling you how he is feeling lately, other times talking about how much he loves you and how afraid he is of losing you.

he puts every feeling there is in him in the paper, always writing you more than one sheet of paper. After you read all of them you alway call him and you both talk about it, which makes him shy and his ears turn red.

jungwon loves planning things for you, especially your birthday. even though it makes him wanna rip his hair off he makes all the efforts to make it the best birthday party you could ever have.

literally no one can talk to him during the weeks he is planning it because he is so stressed that he will snap at someone unintentionally (he apologizes later, poor won)

he will plan it almost a month earlier to make sure everything is perfect. he look for the best bakeries around and tries to find the best rooftop to have the party.

he contacts every single one of your friends trying not to forget to invite anyone.

then the worts part comes, the present to give you. jungwon knows so much about you, almost every little detail, but one thing he doesn’t know is what to give you in your birthday, even if you reassure him he is the best present >-<

all the stress his worthy when he sees your teary eyes smile at the big party.

being an idol takes a lot of someone’s time and niki tries to use every second he had of free time to be with you since he’s always in and out of the country and he knows you hate being alone.

niki takes you everywhere you possibly can go. you go hiking, you go to amusement parks, to the movies, trying out restaurants, just anywhere.

he’s always up to try new things with you and sometimes he might bring the other boys along or you bring your friends, but it’s very rare to happen.

he always takes his digital camera, taking pictures of you when you aren’t looking, which he ends up showing you making you complain of how bad you look and he just glares at you.

sometimes you just go to quiet places and enjoy each other presence, like going to parks in the middle of the nowhere, where it’s just the two of you being two fools in love.

WIP excerpt for Plot Bunny; Kara gets to Earth on time and the Kents get a two-for-one special on free kids.

He’s just so small, she thinks. Bigger than he was the last time she’d seen him, before the end of their world, but still so small. 

She doesn’t know how she’s going to do this.

But she still has to do this, so–so she’s going to do it anyway. 

She wonders if Kal will ever speak Kryptonian. She wonders if the aliens’ language will sound more natural and familiar to him, one day. She wonders if– 

She sweeps the porch. 

“Ma Mar-Tha Kent,” Kara recites to herself quietly, trying to get the accent right. “Pa Jona-Than Kent. Ka-Lair Zo-El Kent. Ka-Lum El-Ot Kent. Smoll-Veel. ” 

The accent probably isn’t right, but she’s working on it. Trying to, anyway. 

“Kuh-ow. Chee-ken. Brekk-fist. Lun-chuh. Sup-purr. Suh-nack. Pye.” 

It was so much easier before. So much . . . simpler. 

She was so much less sad before. 

But Kal needs her to not be sad. Kal needs to see her smile, and needs her to take care of him, and . . . and . . . 

Kara turns her back on him, making it look like part of the sweeping, and lets her expression crumple for a moment. Doesn’t let herself cry, because then she might look like she’d cried, or maybe he’d notice her scrubbing the tears away. 

Or maybe she’d just never stop. Maybe she’d just cry her eyes out of her head, ‘til they melted and dripped out and left her blind. She doesn’t need them anyway. They’ll never see Argo City or Kryptonopolis again. Never see Krypton itself again. None of her friends; none of their family. 

Never see her parents again. 

No. She needs her eyes. She needs everything she’s got, because Kal needs everything she’s got. 

She can’t deny him anything. She can’t let him down or leave him. She can’t . . . she can’t . . . 

She can’t let him down. 

And she won’t, she tells herself. She won’t let him down. Won’t fail him. Won’t let anyone hurt him or wrong him or . . . or . . . 

Kal lets out a startled chime of distress, and Kara whips back around. He's on the far side of the porch at the very edge of the big swing seat, his eyes big and alarmed, and he's wobbling forward. Losing his balance. Too far away for her to steady or catch. 

He's going to fall, she recognizes, and feels white-hot terror. 

And he falls. 

She screams.

.

When she can think again, Kara's pressed into the farthest-back corner of the porch, curled up on the floor around Kal and sobbing into his hair as he chirps in confusion and tries to squirm out of her arms. She tightens her grip on him and sobs harder. He whines in distress. 

She can't make herself let go. 

“Ka-Lair,” Ma is saying, her too-flat voice gentle and worried. Kara tries to look at her. Ma is crouched in front of them, her hands held out in a soothing gesture. The swing seat is knocked off one of its chains. 

She doesn't remember how that happened. Is that why Kal lost his balance? 

Kal lost his balance. He fell, he–he–

She doesn't remember him falling. He was . . . he was losing his balance, she remembers. He was about to fall. 

And then she'd screamed, and then they were here, her heart thrumming triple-time in her ears, and he was in her arms. 

She doesn't remember anything else.

Have a very smoll story piece of the King!Luigi saga! I wanted to put it out before the reunion of Mario & Luigi 😁

Till this moment, Luigi is a prisoner for not very long. His wounds from the landing in the Dark Lands aren't fully healed yet, his own name is a mystery to himself, headaches are still a daily thing, and he is just happy not to be forced to spend his days in a tiny cage dangling over lava.

As the prince of the koopa demands entertainment, he has not much of a choice. Junior is a capable fighter himself, so Bowser does not seem to have any problem letting the prisoner near his child.

Luigi has no intention of harming the kid anyway. And best case, he himself gets entertained as well...

Luigi; "So P-prince, do you have any siblings?"

Junior; "Nope!"

Luigi; "Aren't you lonely sometimes?"

Junior; "Nope! And siblings mean I need to share, so no thanks!"

Luigi; " I wonder if I have any family... a brother or sister would be cool!"

Since Lena is Mikey's daughter that makes her the Family Baby's baby, like Class A smoll bean👌🌱. How pampered do you think she is by everyone? I'm interested in how her interactions with Splinter and Draxum could play out 🤔🤔. Splinter seems like the dotting grandparent type and Barry in the very least has a soft spot for Orange.

sorry! i havemt been answering any of my asks. I sat on this for far too long just to come to the same conclusions...

1: Extremely pampered!!! With raph's general attituide towards most things smaller than herself (which is most things) + Mikey's new parent/independent baby anxiety + leos worry she's going to fall over and croak + donnies. *gestures vaguely*.

I think that the turtles would dote on her /constantly/ as well as work themselves up into a feedback loop of anxiety whenever anything even hints at being wrong. Like cheetahs. Good thing they're surrounded by their own labs to tell them to knock it off (April (been dismantling Turtle Bullshit for years), Cass (mostly thinks children are indestructible), SHELLDON (been through this before), etc.)

tho she had a bit of a Rocky start with the former baby of the family..... Not that Lean remembers it.

Splinter: they say that shit parents make great grandparents! Or at least. That tends to be my experience. They have matching outfits and take all those goofy CTRL + c/v photos that parents do.

Draxum: The turtles weren't supposed to be able to procreate????? The ability to have children and everything associated is a distraction when he would have been able to whip up new soldiers know no time flat.

And now he has four grandchildren.

that being said, Draxum was very involved in Lena's early development with all the health concerns - both from Leo's hunch and from worries of Mikey's mysticism being passed down and developing too early.

He made her do /tonnes/ of boring exercises, like /meditation/ and /breathing/ (ugh). But whenever he wasn't making her do Boring Mysic Things, he was happy to basically become a vegetable and let Lena do whatever she wanted to him.

Listing a few funny things that happened when Angel had to deal with the media, post rescuing everyone from Playtime Co:

Angel, still shaking from spending one week inside the factory and with dried blood still glued to their hair, smelling like hell, politely answering some questions while in the hospital while waiting for Dogday's emergency surgery to finish.

The media being obsessed with calling Angel, whose actual name is Raphael Taylor de Oliveira, "Angel" the moment they hear one of the toys referring to them as that.

Combine the religious imagery with Angel's poor little meow meow wet kitten born in a cardboard box with every disease face and we have a very, very easy way for making the narrative out to be "a kind ex-worker at Playtime Co. discovers that children were used as experiments inside the factory and risks their own life in order to save them".

Angel is instant-loved by Brazil the moment the first news start to arrive, which is something they're very proud of.

Angel having to hold Catnap and Mommy Long Legs by their hands while giving out an interview in their home, so neither one of them would be too mean to the poor reporters. Angel still has to tell them to be nicer though.

The cops and investigators having to explain why they didn't figure out there was something wrong with the factory when all Angel had to do was walk inside and say hello to the Huggy Wuggy statue.

A reporter explaining the horrific events while in the background Huggy stares at her like "smoll person :0}" and boops her. Cue to Angel saying sorry and anxiously guiding him away.

"What did you have to eat while trapped down there?", someone asks, and the toys all go "oh hahahaha. uhm. rats. and the bodies of our friends WHEN THEY INEVITABLY DIED FROM A DISEASE. we didnt hunt each other dw dw hahahahahaha".

Angel a few months later, after buying the farm, giving a "house tour" so people will know the kids are doing okay and stop pestering them about house-related questions. Angel is very excitedly telling the reporter about how much more space they have now while Catnap is eyeing a bird in the background. "Theo don't you think about that, you have food right there".

One of the mini critters listing all the toys that were gifted for them and saying "it's very nice, very chewable", I like how it tastes" and Angel looks at them like "so it's YOU who has been chewing the toys??????", with the reply being "and the doors as well!"

Catnap going from referring to Angel as "our savior" to simply "our mother" during any interviews or news reports where he somehow talks.

Everyone wanting to interview Dogday because he does, indeed, have a radiant and happy energy and audiences love him.

Angel saying "and the hut is the house of 1006, the first one to ever happen, but he would prefer if we just left him alone".

Poppy being someone who's always SUPER pleasant to work with, and excitedly telling the reporters everything they have been doing around the farm.

Angel sighing after finding out Prototype is Elliot Ludwig, KNOWING they'll have to tell the authorities so they can have license money and control over the Playtime Co. brand.

Angel turning to the family's lawyer like "you won't believe what I just found out", the lawyer saying "oh, this won't be the most absurd thing you told me yet", then after hearing Angel tell her about it going "oh, you are always full of surprises, uh. Uhm. Now that makes things complicated", and Angel laughing to the point of tears after that.

ALL the news reports during the trial against Playtime Co.'s higher ups and the negligent authorities. Kickin keeps a collection of the "best moments", which include Angel beating the ever living shit out of a higher up after he refers to the toys as "things" and "collateral damage" instead of "victims of human experimentation".

The news about the fact that apparently Elliot Ludwig became the first PlayCo. experiment ever, and Angel + Poppy having to deal with THAT.

Prototype's single public apparition, around 4/5 years post-rescue, because he had to go to court as well so Angel would have a chance of getting the rights to PlayCo. and all of its properties back to them.

The news when Dogday and Catnap get married, a whole decade post-rescue.

Angel just dropping the most cryptid information ever in social media or during one of the rare interviews they're willing to give after the initial years post-rescue. They tweet things like "I saw some people asking if any of the toys ever attacked me during the week I stayed at PlayCo, and I want everyone to know that all of them at some point did. But don't worry, I bit them back, we're all good now" and one time say "my husband and I like to grow tomatoes like this, but one of our daughters has been trying another way" and that's how everyone finds out Angel and Prototype are a Thing.

Craftycorn happily blogging her life as an artist and featuring all of the other toys during her videos, while Poppy does makeup and sewing tutorials, and the two of them doing collabs and livestreams often. During one of the streams Angel screams "THEODORE GRAMBELL LUDWIG OLIVEIRA DID YOU JUST HUNT A COYOTE AGAIN", and that's how Crafty and Poppy's fans discover everyone decided to add Ludwig Oliveira to their names.
