Omg reading "everything is going to be okay" while high........ what an experience that must be. I should find something surreal to read the next time I'm high. :D aaaaa but I had fun writing the part where they take edibles. Jade being so giggly when he's high,,,, Floyd being even more hyperaware than usual (although his massive crush on you probably also helps in how he looks at you)....... sandwiched between the both of them while they cuddle and kiss you!!!! Colleague invited me and some of my other colleagues to her son’s Wedding Dinner at Goodwood Park Hotel (良木园酒店) last Saturday. The heritage hotel in Singapore is situated in a 6-hectare landscaped garden on Scotts Road. It was first built as the club house for the Teutonic Club serving the expatriate German community in Singapore and later converted into a hotel. The Tower Block of the hotel has been gazetted as a national monument of Singapore.

Have a peek at the Dinner Menu and Wedding Favours which is a heart-shaped condiment bowl or a round bottle opener. My trio of drinks from left - orange crush, Chinese tea and red wine, along with condiments of three types of chilli – pickled green chilli, chilli sauce and red chilli in soya sauce. One of my colleagues was already red-faced and half-drunk even before dinner was officially served.

Let’s start off with the Appetizer Platter comprising of five smaller dishes. From the bottom clockwise, we have the golden brown Suckling Pig Slices with crispy skin. Happy to say that the roasted piglet did not disappoint, after all I expect no less from a 5-star hotel.

Up one dish partition is the Chilled Marinated Baby Abalone with Thai Sweet Chilli. While the spicy and sweet abalones were good, the mountain of raw shallots used to prop up the mollusks were too pungent to eat on its own.

I have never seen unagi as part of the cold dish platter but this Teriyaki Eel was a delight to devour. With hint of charred smokiness, this freshwater eel was sweet and soft. Crispy Sesame Seafood Roll was the next dish I tried and it was still warm and shattering crispy with filling of crunchy prawns and other bits of seafood inside.

Sliced Smoked Duck was served with drizzling of diced mango & spicy plum sauce. The tangy and fruity sweet sauce paired well with the savoury smoked duck breast. Overall to say, this is the best appetizer platter I have ever eaten.

The Overlord Vox was her owner and Rolando thought he could counter him, maybe even work with him but only on his own terms. It landed him in hot water, or this case, a fish tank in the V's tower. Now, he is trapped there either to his fate to be part of the collection or to make a deal.

➤ Smoked Eel. #verse - smoked eel On his toying around Pride, he savored even the torment of the Overlord Valentino. Upon being called for a meeting and perhaps a dealing, Rolando declined on the grounds of not trusting any contracts someone like Valentino would write. Though he got a brief one-up on the Overlord, it was cut short and now Rolando finds himself in hot water.

➤ Electric Hybrid. #verse - electric hybrid Spotting the infamous couple of the Overlord Vox and the imp Clementine, Rolando has decided to target their pairing as well as their hybrid child, Ellie. What better way to see just how this came about than to get into the minds of all those involved?

having what can only be described as an anxiety attack and making a timeline (with fake specific dates) to figure out how old henry bacon is in order to decide A) whether he ever saw active combat while he was in the army and B) whether there is an ongoing conflict at the time of the fire eternal for one line (thats 1, count em, 1 line) of my fanfic in which tam says it makes sense that henry became a librarian becuase it's the most military-adjacent job on the market and there are 'no active wars on rn' (because he is obviously heavily involved in the news and i cant have him say something so obviosuly accurate/innacuarate).

now, i could've removed that line the first time i spiralled over it, but then we would've lost out on me spending 45 minutes researching eight different things every time i re-opened the doc and read it instead of taking another propanolol. and THEN (because i spent 2 years researching it at college to the point i got a 98 on the coursework) getting distressed over the question: IS THE USSR STILL INTACT????? (it is not, if we make the assumption that we're in 2001. also this is a loaded question depending on your idea of 'intact')

i worked up an entire timeline to figure out if the iraq war is on and then and only then though hmmm is this perhaps an OCD spiral. are we perhaps thinking more about this than chris d'lacey ever did. should we have an icepop and chill the fuck out perhaps?

“You know, I could try and kill him,” Shark offered.

Eel sharply turned to look at him as he blew out a stream of smoke. “Please don't.”

“Why not? He's an asshole and it'd break your contract with him,” Shark replied, taking another drag of his cigarette.

“We both know it's not that easy,” Eel sighed. “I'm not allowed to harm him - it says so on the fucking contract.”

Shark frowned, jabbing a finger at their chest. “Eel, you gotta stop letting him push you around. That asshole has been controlling your life ever since you showed up in the tunnels.”

Eel flicked their gaze away, looking up at the star-dotted sky instead. “I'll pay off my debts when I pay them off. You've paid yours off, so you don't have to keep coming back.”

“Oh, gee, sorry for being worried about the closest thing I have to a sibling,” Shark scoffed.

Eel smiled gently and bumped shoulders with him. “Love ya too.”
