David hummed to himself in the kitchen, slowly breathing in his cigarette and blowing out the smoke. A bang on his door jerked him into reality.

He opened the door to reveal Gavin, who looked zooted out of his mind. "Hey, you." David smiled, placing a hand on his cheek and stroking it with his thumb. "You had a easy drive over?"

"Yeah.. Traffic wasn't that bad." Gavin closed his eyes and leaned into the touch for a brief moment, then leaned in and pecked David's lips. "Something smells delicious in here.."

Gavin, as promised, arrived at David's apartment not long after. He rang the doorbell instead of barging in like he used to. Baby steps, Gav, baby steps.

He'd tried to make himself look somewhat presentable, shitty mullet styled as usual and a pair of tight, blue washed out skinny jeans hugging his hips. He'd dabbed some cologne on, too, the cheapest brand he could find. The smell was overwhelmingly manly. Seriously, that's what it said on the box. It was more.. Sharp than anything.

David sat up on his couch. He had been taken the day off, so Gavin's boxers and shirt clung onto his body. He pushed his hair back and got up to get the door. He stood and held his hand on the knob before pulling the door open.

His eyes focused on Gavin, welling up slightly. He felt ill. David was sure that if he spoke his voice would give up his emotions, so he just smiled softly instead and leaned against his doorframe. He brought his hand up to wave.

"Oh, I'm fine with whatever. To be honest, I'm just happy to be out of the house.. And with you." Matt drummed his calloused fingers along the sides of his coffee mug. The ache in his chest only grew stronger from just being here with her. It felt so wrong.

It was a long and tedious flight, twenty hours across multiple time zones with many unhappy children and obnoxious people, but finally, he'd made it. Things seemed to run a little differently, so he had trouble finding his way around initially, but finally he was able to cross the gate.

He made his way to the lounge, where he saw his flightmates leaving with their loves ones, and began to look for Caiti. Though, his search turned out fruitless from just how exhausted he was. Everyone was starting to look the same.

To say she was antsy was an understatement. Wether it was nerves or excitment was anyone's guess. From what he had shipped over, Matt didn't seem like an axe-murderer.

She sipped on her coffee from the small shop next to his gate and waited. The people around her looked zombified. Caiti looked down at her nails. She had painted them for this so she wouldn't resort to chewing on them. Put on perfume so she could focus on something. Picked out more jewerly then normal so she could fidget. Was it normal for her to get this nervous? Surely, right? To say she hadn't dreamed about him once or twice was a lie.

Shaggy brown hair appeared in front of her and Caiti grinned. She breathed out. There he was. After three months of waiting, Matt. "Hey, you."

These are the Christmas presents I made for my family this year.

Gandalf’s Smoke Ship was made for my mother. It is one of our favorite scenes from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, done in ink I\using stippling technique.

Vault of Glass Warlock is my Brother In-Laws Warlock, he sherpa’d me through my first run of Vault of glass and that was quite a good time.

Sam Heughan as Jamie Fraser was done for my sister.  She is quite a fan along with a lot of other people including my wife (She claimed the pencils to this piece).

I’m quite proud of these because it is the first time I have been able to plan out, execute, and deliver drawing for all three of them for Christmas.
