The issues surrounding the database HAVE BEEN SOLVED circa last week, and Hex has officially gotten the database, including accounts and their associated logs, working on Ruby on Rails. This choice was made because it dramatically speeds up dev- this is the framework CheRPs upcoming Cardinal update uses, allowing Hex to adapt features from there (realtime chatting, accounts with tied chatlogs, notifications, etc) and change them as need be, because it's a framework that they're skilled and familiar with, making any needed retools and reworks easier.

So, what you're probably wondering here is this: "Steve! If this speeds dev up that much, does that mean the Beta is soon???"

To this, I answer: YYYYEEEEAAAAHHHHHHH BABY!! We're currently on track to be Beta-ready sometime this December.

This is an estimate, of course, and the beta could very well be ready before then- if it is, I'll be making a post here, on the Patreon, and on the discord server in short order of each other. Thank you all so much for sticking around through all this development time. It's been arduous. But we're closer than ever!! Keep your eyes peeled, folks. And get ready for MxRP-chan to come out of surgery stronger than ever.

Me and my partner @the-good-ol-art-corner collaborated on this AWESOME poster for one of our favorite Bendy Aus @toontiedterror by @dictatortirah !! I am in LOVE with how it came out and I am so excited to see how this story and world develops!!

I put so many details into this, it is absolutely silly, but I had a swell time doing them. Those headshots on the missing posters belong to the staff from our own Bendy project @howdy-folks-its-showtime and we didn't even intend to make two versions. But I put so much into the background... I just had to make a version without the foreground to show it off <3

That would be good, wouldn't it? You are free. You are alive. Freedom is in your hands, and you can do whatever you want whenever you want, as long as you don't destroy anything and help the human with his animations. Wouldn't it be good? Wouldn't it be cool?

And still… You decline it.

You threw away the opportunity you had - the only and possibly last opportunity you had to be free, to live.

…All because you couldn't visualize a world where you wouldn't be with your friends. All because the mere thought of having to live with the freedom that was given to you so willingly hurts, because your friends didn't have that same opportunity. They were gone before they even had the chance.

What is there to live for? Your friends are gone. There is nothing else to live for.

...Something about the way Second didn't even hesitate- They were risking their own life because they didn't want to live without their friends; They were terrified to be deleted, but after c!Alan's offer, now they didn't even seem to care anymore ; Freedom? Give me my friends back then I will think about it.

I guess this is another thing that shows how much Second was willing to sacrifice just for their friends, even if it costs their own life
