🚀 Do you like to outline your fic first or create as you go?

hi kas!!!! I don't have super good outlining skills, but I DO have a decent memory and the ability to bs my way out of situations, and that's basically the same thing. I may write out story beats that I think are important, or if I'm struggling it helps to figure out what I want out of a chapter, but for the most part I wing it.

(not outlining, but sometimes I write super emotional scenes in advance <3 chapter 5 in dayshift, the illness part? that was pre-written, edited to mesh better with the rest of the chapter later)

it must be said that I very much enjoy a bit of skulls with my work (alas I've not been able to do as much, but the animatronic boys give me serotonin regardless)

I also really enjoy messing around with creature design~ been great fun for mer AUs and any AUs which involve the boys as beasties (I am staring directly at @gontic-solution's Reaper AU)

So I don't know how to find out for sure, but scrolling through my history is just "[seemingly simple English word/ phrase I decided to double check]" or various worksheets for dyslexia/ concentration/ coloring pages (for work) so that's at least my most searched genres lmao.
