My fic for Day 1 of Bechloe Week 2024! I'm so excited that I've been able to be part of this and write something for these two! I hope it's okay and still somewhat fits the prompt! :D

Summary:

When a quest leads Beca Mitchell and her companion, Fat Amy Hobart, being in need of a place to stay, she finds her path crossing with Chloe Beale, unaware that each other may just be the change they both need. If only she could keep her cool around said cute redheaded barmaid.

i do indeed know about life is strange! that's so funny. i have a love of a great many video games <3 life is strange and dragon age are up there with my favourites, along with mass effect, baldur's gate 3, stardew valley, the walking dead games, fallout and skyrim

i also have a ronance life is strange AU somewhere buried in my posts and my fic drafts but it has been gathering dust for some time </3 too many wips not enough strength

I would first ask if you have the Chloix BrainRot but let’s be honest, It’s always Chloix hours here.

So I present

Skyrim Chloix AU:

Chloe, wishing to find some way to impress her mother, decides to travel to skyrim to learn Illusion magic.

Audrey uses Illusion magic to convince (Read Manipulate) people to do as she wants so she decides if she can do the same, her mother will love her.

Alix, her childhood friend is tagging along, as she doesn’t like the idea of Chloe going alone, especially since she isn’t skilled in anything, yet.

They get caught, go to helgen (We know how the game starts so we’ll skip that)

But it turns out ALIX is the Dragonborn, Chloe is, reasonably, distraught. Cause now her friend is “better” then her.

But she refuses to leave Alix, cause Alix doesn’t have Magic, while Chloe does and Chloe has been getting better with restoration magic. So she’s becoming a healer, though not by choice.

So I’m going to continue my Chloe Bourgeois Isekai series. Which I will add to my pinned masterpost. I’m going to do all three but I was wondering….

I’ve set it to a week so there’s the longest time possible for people to decide. Plus it gives me a little time to construct basic plots. I’ve got some ideas already, and I’ll continue to play around with them.

I mean I should really be focusing on already started projects instead of making more right now considering I’m going to be busy. But to hell with it, why not?

Well, let's consider this.

In a post-Storm setting... did Joyce have life insurance? I mean, I can't exactly see David getting much in the way of benefits from Blackwell. He was probably making a little more than minimum wage there, and he squandered his money on his car and on crap like security cameras.

And let's be honest. Jobs in the service industry have bare bones benefits. Joyce might have basic health insurance but I very much that she had life insurance. So... Chloe would have the clothes on her back and the clothes on Max's back and a rusty pickup truck when she leaves Arcadia Bay.

Does she head to Seattle to reunite Max with her parents? Honestly, it seems like the best course of action. But we have every reason to believe that Max's parents are lower class. They are probably living paycheck to paycheck. (They also are more likely to have benefits like health insurance. So hopefully they can get Max some therapy... and given Max's knowledge of antidepressants I am more than willing to bet she has been in therapy in the past.)

So... she and Max arrive, destitute, with practically nothing to their name, back in Seattle. If they are lucky they might have $2,000 to their name after raiding the (crooked) Disability Fund (I say crooked as it was in cash and the handicapped ramp being built is for the dormitories which cannot be reached without going through several sets of stairs - in short they serve NO purpose at all outside of PR). That will buy clothes. And would let Chloe maybe get a cheap computer.

After that? Chloe needs to get a GED so she can get a halfway decent job (and I think the Caulfields would insist Chloe get her GED - and Chloe would probably be happy to do so because Max's parents are actually showing concern and love for her, which her mother never did). She probably would get a cheap computer at that point as I think it's needed to access many GED programs even in the early 2010s. So any games she gets will be things that can run on a cheap or refurbished PC.

She might get into Pokemon Go. In fact, mobile games are far more likely to be what she gets into as her phone will probably be better at running things than her "new" PC.

There is a caveat to this. Uncle Aaron. When Chloe's uncle finds out that Joyce is dead and Chloe is in Washington... I think he'd send her money and try to help out the best he can.

And that's another possibility in a post-Storm setting. If Max did NOT want to go to Seattle? Chloe might bring Max to Uncle Aaron. And he very likely would help them both get on their feet... and hopefully get therapy or the like. And I could very well see Chloe playing whatever games Uncle Aaron has on his own computer. (Skyrim. Modded. Yes, Uncle Aaron has Nude Mods and Chloe revels in having everyone in Skyrim be a naked woman.)

Hmm. Now I want to see the AU where Max and Chloe show up at Chloe's uncle's after the Storm wipes out Arcadia Bay....

Do you think Chloe plays video games

Yes-ish.

I don’t think Chloe has played any games ‘recently’. I’m a very firm believer that as soon as she was able she stayed out of the house to avoid David and I don’t think she spent all that much time at Rachel’s (as Rachel was probably hanging out with others like 99% of the time considering how popular she was) so that really limited the amount of time she could be gaming.

That being said I think she would get back into it when she has a safe place to hang out. I think she would be into more classic style games since she took such a long break. Games with fighting and or violence are probably up her ally. Pokémon probably.

If Chloe’s not the Dragonborn in your Skyrim AU, Does she still get some dangerous power like Lycanthropy with turning into a werewolf?

I haven’t actually thought about whether Chloe ends up with a power like Lycanthropy or becoming a vampire.

My main idea is that she ends up doing all the Daedric quests and having to deal with all the Daedric gods. She gets some cool artefacts from it, but she is so annoyed.

What is your miraculous au about

Well, I’ve explained my prior au’s in another ask and on my masterpost. So I suppose I’ll go through my plans for my new three Chloe Bourgeois isekai au’s. (I have added them to the masterpost, but there’s no fanfiction or artwork/writing linked yet)

For the Skyrim au, it’s just Chloe going on little quests, learning magic, etc. she’s not the Dragonborn, but does become their companion. Despite not being the Dragonborn, she ends up involved with the daedric gods. It takes place sometime after season 2. Maybe a few months, so she’s about 14 years old during the story.

For the Bloodborne Chloe and Dark Souls Chloe, it’s quite different. She ends up in those lands when she’s a lot younger. She’s three when Gabriel disposed of her in Dark Souls. And Gabriel purposefully abandons her in Bloodborne when she’s a baby as apart of his fucked up experiment. And by the time Ladybug and Chat Noir meet her in these two au’s she’s about 12-13.

Personality wise, Skyrim Chloe is the same as she was in season two, just a bit more relaxed. Bloodborne Chloe is more cold and controlled, but still holds some kindness. She’s trying to maintain hope, but it’s difficult. Whereas Dark Souls Chloe is incredibly kind and soft spoken. She’s hopeful and sees the best in people, willing to help wherever she can. She seeks to help heal people and is obviously religious. Either way she’s on good terms with the miraculous heroes in all three au’s.

The only thing I’m still sort of figuring out is her relationship with her parents in the au’s. Skyrim Chloe is pretty content to fix her relationship with her parents.

In the Bloodborne au, I’m going with Gabriel killing Audrey. So Chloe never gets to properly meet her mother. And despite Andre still being alive, Chloe never gets to meet him until she’s about 13. So meeting him for the first time is a little awkward for her. But she’s happy to know she actually has family.

Dark Souls Chloe has hazy memories of her parents but has long since forgotten her own name. Her parents are incredibly relieved and happy to know she’s even still alive.

So in my Skyrim AU Kagami is the character who mostly clearly has an in-universe equivalent (other than Marinette being entirely equivalent to the Dragonborn). She's the same as Serana in backstory and role. And I've been thinking about how to integrate her into the story, and I've decided that it would be really funny if all the characters have finished their tasks and Alduin is defeated and together they decide, "You know what, let's join the Dawnguard" and then they do and Kagami wakes up from her thousand year nap to be met with mage Alya and her Werewolf Boyfriend (Archmage of the College of Winterhold and Harbinger of the Companions), an aromantic expert on paralysis poison (Chloe, leader of the Thieves Guild), a Khajiit assassin who carries around a lute (Luka, the Listener), the first Dragonborn since Tiber Septim himself and the new High King (Marinette and Adrien)

laksgfhjkasfh I had plans for Chloe in my Skyrim AU but I replayed a good chunk of the Thieves' Guild plot the other day and now that I'm more clear on it I'm not sure if the changes I'm making are practically implementable without fucking changing the entire plotline. Which I can do but at a certain point I wonder if it would make more sense to just change what I've already written.
