Two days later...
While Noah and Ruth were busy recovering in the hospital, the farm was left to its own devices, and well, it's seen better days! The garden has gone a little wild, with some plants clearly in need of a good watering. Bessie, the cow, is looking like she rolled in the mud, and both the animal shed and chicken coop are not much cleaner.
We're hoping for a speedy recovery because the farm misses them!

Noah and Ruth were all set for their big wedding day in Tartosa, but thanks to the Healthcare Redux mod by @adeepindigo, things took a crazy turn. Even though Tartosa is supposed to be local, the mod said they had to fly, and... boom! Horrible plane crash! 💥 Both Noah and Ruth suffered extensive injuries and had to be rushed to the hospital. The doctors worked tirelessly to save them, and thankfully, they’re going to be fine, but they’ll need a couple of days to recover.
Looks like the wedding will have to wait.

Morning of the Wedding...
Nothing says "happy wedding morning" like the sound of cows mooing, chickens clucking, and roosters doing their best alarm clock impression—classic Henford vibes. Noah rolls out of bed, ready for the day, and decides to milk his cow to kick things off. You know, start the day strong.
Well... not so much.
He tries to milk Bessie, and it turns into an "udder disaster!" Milk everywhere—on the floor, on his shoes, and even a little on Bessie herself. He lets out an exaggerated sigh.
Noah: "Come on, Bessie. You’re supposed to help me out here! It’s my wedding day."
Bessie looks unbothered, chewing cud, completely unaware of the disaster she just caused.
After cleaning up the mess, Noah gives her a gentle pet, rubbing her nose.
Noah: "You know I still love you, right? Even if you're the reason I smell like spoiled milk today."
Bessie gives him a look that says, “I did nothing wrong.”

Noah decided to bring everyone back to his land to show them that he was no longer living like a homeless, rags-to-riches Sim. His land had come a long way! He invited not only his former dates—Juniper, Brianna, Daina, and Zahra—but also his local friends, Kim the grocer and Sara the pub owner. Naturally, everyone was invited to the wedding.
In the first picture, you see Juniper, Brianna, Daina, and Zahra standing in a pond. Why? Well, who knows. Maybe they were testing the waters—literally—or just having a casual "pond meeting." Either way, standing ankle-deep in water seemed like the perfect setting for some last-minute wedding chatter. (Why are Sims like this?)
Meanwhile, in the second picture, Kim and Sara are probably talking shop. Maybe Sara’s sharing wild stories of dealing with drunks in her pub (especially since Basemental mod recently got installed). Kim, being the local grocer, is probably just glad to avoid that kind of chaos, sticking to selling fresh produce and wholesome goods.
The rest of the night was spent around the fire pit. The perfect way to relax before the big day, right?

Noah had to admit, this dinner idea—bringing all his past dates together with Ruth—was a bit unconventional. But here they were, and so far, no disasters had occurred. Yet.
Juniper was first to speak, her usual calm vibe intact. "Noah and I had a blind date, remember? We had a nice time. Ruth, you’ve got a solid guy here. He’s sweet."
Ruth smiled, relieved that things were off to a good start. "Thanks, Juniper. I think so too."
Brianna, sitting beside Ruth and sporting the same red hair, chimed in. "Yeah, Noah’s a great listener. He really helped me through some tough stuff. You’re lucky, Ruth."
Ruth turned to Brianna with a nod, feeling good about the positive vibes.
Zahra, of course, couldn’t stay quiet for long. "We met at the market, actually. Our date didn’t quite work out, but I looove weddings, and I’m so happy for you guys! Thanks for inviting me!"
Ruth chuckled. "Glad you could come!"
Daina sat next to Noah, a bit quieter, but finally spoke up. "He’s ambitious. And honestly, you two seem like a great match. Thanks for inviting me to the wedding."
Noah leaned back, grinning. "Hey, you’re all invited. It’s gonna be a blast."
Ruth smiled at Noah from across the table. This might’ve been an unconventional dinner, but somehow it worked. These were all people who knew different sides of Noah, and now they were all coming together to celebrate with him.
Perfectly imperfect. Just the way they liked it.

Noah and Ruth took a stroll to the wedding venue, excited for their big day. The place? Absolutely breathtaking. They had the option to either say "I do" inside or outside, depending on the weather. Noah was leaning toward the outdoor setup—it was gorgeous, and Ruth loved the idea too. But the weather forecast? Well, the calendar showed it might be windy, so they'd just have to play it by ear.
The venue was straight out of a dream, complete with elegant seating, stunning arches, and romantic vibes everywhere. Noah couldn’t help but smile as he took in the view. It was perfect, like everything was finally falling into place.
As they checked out the spot, Ruth was all smiles.
"Can you believe it, Noah? We’re really getting married here tomorrow!"
He gave her hand a squeeze, "It's crazy. But also... feels like the best kind of crazy."
They took their time exploring, imagining what tomorrow would bring. Would the wind make things a little wild? Possibly. But one thing was for sure—this was about to be the best day of their lives.
Sidenote: I'm using Fleuralia's save file for this legacy, and this gorgeous wedding venue is from that save! Almost all the builds in this legacy have come from @fleuraliasave amazing work. If you haven’t checked out this save, you definitely should!

The couple soon found themselves at a local vendor stand, ready to pick out their wedding cake. Everything seemed to be going smoothly until Noah realized the vendor was none other than Zahra Ames, a woman he had gone on a date with, but who just wasn’t feeling the connection like he did.
Zahra recognized him immediately. "Noah? Oh wow! It’s been a while. How have you been?"
Noah chuckled, scratching the back of his neck. “Yeah, uh… I’m actually here with my fiancée, Ruth.”
Ruth, standing by Noah’s side, gave Zahra a friendly nod.
Zahra’s eyes lit up, clearly excited. “Oh my gosh, congratulations! I love weddings! You have to invite me. Please?”
Noah smiled, nodding in agreement. “You know what, Zahra? Sure, why not. You can come to the wedding.”
Zahra practically squealed with excitement, clapping her hands together. “Yes! I love weddings so much. I promise I’ll bring good vibes!”
Ruth smiled warmly at the exchange, appreciating Noah’s kindness. As they left the cake vendor, she teased, “You just invited an old date to our wedding. Bold move.”
Noah laughed, shaking his head. “Hey, what can I say? It’s a small world! Plus, the more, the merrier, right?”
With their cake chosen and the wedding guest list growing, Noah and Ruth walked hand in hand through Tartosa, the sun setting behind them. Everything was falling into place for their big day, and despite the funny little twists along the way, it felt perfect.

Noah and Ruth arrived in beautiful Tartosa, a place that already held special memories—it’s where they had their very first date. As they strolled through the charming streets, Noah couldn’t help but turn to Ruth with a warm smile, “I’m glad you chose this place. I mean, our first date was here. It’s kinda perfect.”
Ruth, looking around the town, smiled softly, “It felt right.”

Ruth and Noah are officially living the farm life! Ruth has taken up painting, while Noah’s busy with the garden and tending to their chickens and their cow. They’ve settled into a nice rhythm—Ruth getting creative with her easel and Noah mastering the art of milking cows (with a very confused chicken as an audience, of course). It’s all part of the daily grind, but you know what? They’re loving it.
Simple, peaceful, and full of farm chores. Just another day in paradise for these two!

Noah couldn't wait to tell his friend Kim at the grocer the big news. As he approached the stall, he was practically bouncing with excitement.
Noah: "Guess what, Kim! I'm engaged!"
Kim, who had been polishing an apple, dropped it in surprise.
Kim: "No way! Noah, that's amazing! I remember not too long ago, you were telling me about your dating struggles. Look at you now!"
Noah grinned sheepishly.
Noah: "Yeah, it’s been... quite the journey. But Ruth is incredible. We're really happy."
Kim: "I’m so thrilled for you, Noah. Just promise me I’ll get an invite to the wedding. I love cake!"
Noah laughed, waved goodbye, and headed back home, still riding high on excitement.

Back at home, Noah decided it was time to cook his first real meal. He looked at the stove like it was some kind of alien technology.
Noah: talking to the pot "Okay, buddy, let’s not burn down the kitchen. First meal for Ruth, no pressure..."
The stove didn't respond, obviously. He nervously whipped up something simple. Macaroni and cheese. His brow furrowed as he stared intensely at the pot, waiting for... something.
Noah: "Okay, I think this is going... fine? Maybe?"
Despite the inner panic, he managed to pull together a decent meal.
Tumblr media
He sat down with Ruth, both of them gazing at the plates in front of them.
Ruth: "Looks good, Noah. I’m impressed."
Noah: "Yeah, didn’t burn the house down, so I consider that a win."
As they started eating, Ruth brought up something she’d been thinking about.
Ruth: "You know, I’ve been dreaming about a simple wedding in Tartosa. Nothing too fancy, just something with the two of us and a few close friends."
Noah almost choked on his food.
Noah: "Tartosa? You mean the beautiful, romantic wedding destination?"
Ruth smiled, nodding.
Ruth: "Exactly. What do you think?"
Noah pretended to think for a moment, but he was already sold.
Noah: "Well, if that’s what you want, how can I say no? A simple wedding in Tartosa sounds perfect."
They both smiled at each other, finishing up their first meal as a soon-to-be-married couple. Noah couldn’t help but feel like everything was finally falling into place. His kitchen didn’t explode, Ruth wanted a dream wedding, and for the first time in a long time, life felt really, really good.

Noah couldn’t believe it—after that perfect kiss with Ruth, everything just felt right. The spark was there, the connection undeniable. His heart raced, and without a second thought, he dropped to one knee, barely giving Ruth a chance to catch her breath.
Noah: "So… I know we just had our first kiss like two seconds ago… but how about a lifetime of ‘firsts’ together?"
Ruth blinked, clearly surprised, but there was a smile tugging at her lips.
Ruth: "Wait, are you…?"
Noah pulled out a simple ring, holding it up with the biggest grin on his face.
Noah: "Yep! Will you marry me? I mean, look, we already have a chicken, a cow, and a garden... sounds like the perfect start, right?"
Ruth laughed, her hand covering her mouth, eyes wide in disbelief, but you could tell she was touched by the sincerity in his proposal.
Ruth: "Oh my gosh, Noah, you're really doing this, huh?"
Noah: "I mean, we’ve got cows, we’ve got crops, the only thing missing is a wedding! Plus, I promise to keep your easels clean. What do you say?"
For a second, Ruth looked stunned, and then she nodded, her cheeks blushing as she extended her hand.
Ruth: "Yes! Yes, I’ll marry you, Noah."
They both burst into laughter, and Noah slipped the ring on her finger, before lifting her up in his arms with a joyful spin. The cow mooed in approval, the chickens clucked like they were celebrating, and Noah grinned from ear to ear as they sealed the deal with another kiss.
Noah: "We’re really doing this!"
And just like that, it wasn’t just a simple farm anymore. It was home.

Noah had been waiting for the right moment, and finally, it came. He glanced over at Ruth, her red hair catching the sunlight in the most perfect way. His nerves buzzed, but Noah decided to take the leap.
He stepped closer to her, heart pounding, and before he could talk himself out of it, Noah leaned in. Ruth’s eyes widened in surprise, but she didn’t move away.
The world around them seemed to blur, and Noah couldn’t help but smile against her lips. When they pulled back, Ruth’s hand fluttered to her chest, her cheeks flushed with a mix of surprise and joy.
Noah, grinning like a kid who just scored a goal, couldn’t help but chuckle. “Guess I’ve been waiting too long for that moment.”
Ruth blinked, still caught up in the magic of it all. “You sure know how to make a girl’s day, Noah Fletcher.”
And just like that, in that perfect, simple moment, everything clicked.

With 20,000 Simoleons, Noah wasted no time. He upgraded his land faster than you could say “plumbob.” Suddenly, that empty plot turned into a thriving homestead. They built a tiny home with actual walls (no more tent living), set up a huge garden area, a chicken coop, an animal shed for a llama or cow, and even a small fishing spot on the property. It was the glow-up of all glow-ups.
Noah: “I’ve got walls now, Ruth! And doors! And...wait for it...furniture!”
Ruth: “Looks like moving in was a good choice after all.”
Noah: “Oh, it’s more than good. This place is practically an estate now! We’ve got chickens, a future cow, and we can fish right on our land. We’re set for life!”
Ruth: laughs “Maybe now we’ll actually eat something that isn’t roasted fish.”
Noah: “Amen to that.”
As they looked around at their new, improved home, Noah couldn’t help but laugh at how quickly things had turned around. From a tent and some dirt to a thriving homestead in a matter of hours. It seemed that with Ruth by his side, the sky was the limit.

Noah, still basking in the excitement of his new relationship with Ruth, noticed something about her situation. She had no home. Homeless. Now, Noah wasn’t one to leave someone he cared about out in the cold, especially not his girlfriend.
Noah: “Hey, Ruth...you, uh, wanna move in? I mean, it’s just a tent and some crops right now, but it’s better than nothing, right?”
Ruth smiled, clearly touched by his offer. Of course, she said yes. She had nowhere else to go, after all.
Little did Noah know, his simple act of kindness was about to turn into something much bigger. When Ruth moved in, she didn’t just bring her sweet personality and good vibes—she also brought 20,000 Simoleons. Noah’s eyes widened as his bank account jumped.
Noah: “Hold on...where did all this come from?!”
Ruth: laughs “Well, just because I didn’t have a home doesn’t mean I didn’t have savings!”
Noah: grinning “Ruth, you’re not just a blessing—you’re a miracle wrapped in Simoleons!”

Later that day, Noah landed a date with Ruth. She was different—there was instant chemistry. They had a great time at the restaurant, and when he took her back to his land, it turned out that Ruth was homeless.
To her, Noah’s little setup seemed like a step up. She asked to extend the date, and before Noah knew it, she was asking to be his girlfriend.
Noah: (grinning) "Girlfriend? Wow, I didn’t see that coming."
Ruth: (smiling) "Why not? We’re a great match."
And just like that, Noah finally had someone special in his life. After all the ups and downs, the failed dates, and the awkward moments, he’d found a partner. Maybe things were starting to look up for him after all.

The next morning, Noah tended to his crops again and headed into town, feeling a little bummed. He stopped by the local grocer, Kim, and told her about his dating woes. "Don’t lose hope, Noah," Kim said. "There’s someone out there for you."
That hit Noah hard—he’d been doing everything he could, but he was starting to feel the weight of it all. He even developed a fear of being alone.
In an attempt to boost his spirits, Noah updated his profile picture on the Cupid Corners app, showing off his fresh twists and new look. "Maybe this’ll help," he thought.
And it did.
