the harry potter sims 4 legacy challenge <3
If Hogwarts has ever said something to you or ever caught your interest, then I guess you might be at the right place :)
To my fellow Harry Potter fans <3 here's something I've got for you. Now let's get on with it, shall we?
General Rules:
Aging & Lifespan: Use normal lifespan or long lifespan. Short is not recommended.
Money: No use of money cheats. Earn your wealth through careers, skills, and other in-game means. Start with 1.000 simoloeons and work your way up. If you want to make it more difficult start out with 0 simoloeons.
Magic: Given the base game's limitations, use your imagination to simulate magical achievements (e.g., a Sim mastering the Logic skill could be seen as mastering potions or spells).
Legacy Home: Choose a lot to serve as Hogwarts, where all generations will live. You cannot move lots, but you can expand and renovate as your family grows and wealth accumulates.
Succession: The heir of each generation can be male or female, chosen based on the fulfillment of their generational goals.
Gen 1: The Founder (Godric Gryffindor):
Bravery has your name on it. Like I mean written all-over it. You always wanted to show it off. But will you be able to show it off? Or will something get in the way to take you down?
Aspiration: Bodybuilder (to represent bravery and strength)
Traits: Active, Good, Ambitious
Goals: Start of as a teenager, reach level 10 in Fitness, build a "common room" in your home, achieve the top of the Athlete career, and have at least 3 children.
Gen 2: The Scholar (Rowena Ravenclaw):
Your always loved books. Books has always been your safe space. If something happened at home you would just open a book, and zone out, for how long? I'm not that sure. Probrably long enough I guess.
Aspiration: Nerd Brain
Traits: Genius, Bookworm, Creative
Goals: Master the Logic and Writing skills, write and publish 5 books, own a library filled with at least 100 books in your home, and have at least 3 adopted children.
Gen 3:The Loyal (Helga Hufflepuff):
You're the loyal friend everyone's looked for. I mean literally everyone. Anybody could use somebody like YOU!
Aspiration: Friend of the World
Traits: Cheerful, Good, Outgoing
Goals: Befriend 20 Sims, achieve level 10 in the Cooking skill, and throw a grand feast for your friends, and have 5 children.
Gen 4: The Cunning (Salazar Slytherin):
Who said enemy? Well, no one has said it. It just your the enemy. Everybody fears you. Yeah, YOU!
Aspiration: Public Enemy
Traits: Ambitious, Self-Assured, Mean
Goals: Reach the top of the Criminal career, achieve level 10 in Mischief, and have a basement dedicated to your "dark arts" (use creative decoration to represent this), and have 1 child and make their childhood a living hell - if the child dies before they are young adult, then you have to adopt a child if it's too late to make one :)
Gen 5: The Chosen One (Harry Potter):
Your the chosen one, as in the one Voldemort is after. Will you be able to take him down? Or would it be the other way around?
Aspiration: Chief of Mischief (representing his role as a leader against Voldemort)
Traits: Genius, Loner, Art lover
Goals: Form a "Dumbledore's Army" club with at least 6 members (do this imaginary), master Handiness (to represent his knack for getting out of tricky situations), defeat a "dark lord" by achieving level 10 in the Logic skill (chess matches against a designated rival Sim), and have 1 enemy as in Lord Voldemort, and have at least 2 children.
Gen 6:The Bright Witch (Hermione Granger):
Your always been on top of your game. Means you go back in time to go to class, because you missed it somehow. But you always find a way to get back up again. And catch up. With all the homework and stuff.
Aspiration: Renaissance Sim
Traits: Genius, Neat, Perfectionist
Goals: Master 3 skills of your choice (to represent her broad knowledge), achieve top grades in school, lead a successful protest against an injustice in your community, and have at least 4 children.
Gen 7: The Loyal Friend (Ron Weasley):
Your there then someone needs you. You are always there. Like for real always. Would it be to much to handle? To look after everybody?
Aspiration: Neighborhood Confidante
Traits: Good, Clumsy, Loves the Outdoors
Goals: Master the Comedy skill, have a large family (at least 5 children), and find and marry your childhood sweetheart.
Gen 8: The Protector (Sirius Black):
Azkaban has been your place, where your lived for as long as you remember. And you can't say that it's been fun. It hasn't. It's been an awful place to be. But someday, just someday you decide to escape and then you would be on the run again. How many times should you be on the run? Would you be able to escape succesfully? Or would it just be a fail all-over again?
Aspiration: Chief of Mischief (twisted to represent his mischievous nature and ability to evade capture)
Traits: Good, Hot-Headed, Genius
Goals: Escape a "prison" (lock yourself in a room for a week simulating Azkaban, then break out), live as a "dog" (Pet Lover lifestyle "like imagine it") for a period, prove your innocence by achieving high friendship with all household members, and have 4 children.
Gen 9: The Teacher (Albus Dumbledore):
Your always wanted to teach everybody all off your knowlegde. Would you be able to do that? Or would something get in the way?
Aspiration: Renaissance Sim (representing his wide range of knowledge and skills)
Traits: Genius, Good, Creative
Goals: Reach the top of the Education career (use your imagination for base game careers that could fit), mentor children in 3 different skills, have a significant artifact collection (minerals, elements, or fossils), and have 3 enemies & 3 children.
Gen 10: The Healer (Madam Pomfrey):
If you could heal everybody you would. If it was that easy to heal somebody. But it isn't, it's harder than it seems. Would you be able to heal your friends? Or would everything just turn out to be wrong?
Aspiration: The Curator (to represent her collection of cures and remedies)
Traits: Good, Neat, Genius
Goals: Achieve level 10 in the Gardening skill (to grow plants for potions and remedies), master the Cooking skill (to make food that heals), and "heal" 20 different Sims (make 20 friends by imagining you're healing them from various conditions).

Sims 4 Disney Ancestor Challenge (Choose Your Own Adventure)
Sims 4 Disney Ancestor Challenge (Choose Your Own Adventure) 
Welcome to the Disney Ancestor Challenge! There are a lot of Disney Sim Challenges, but none fit exactly what I wanted. I created a challenge with the legacies in historical era order and with multiple generation characters from which you can choose to play! This is a very long challenge, but no worries you can always cut movies you don’t want to play (Just make sure to check any requirements from the previous generation). Each of the 37 Legacies (number subject to change with future movie additions) offers 2-3 characters to choose from. I am very excited to play and hope you enjoy it! To see the full challenge click the link to the google Doc.
RULES: 
Always read ahead one generation so you don’t miss anything while playing the current generation. This is especially important when choosing the different character options. For Example: If you play as Ariel for Gen 14 then Gen 13 needs to have seven children, but if you choose to play as Eric then they only need to have one child. This will also help in not having repeat aspirations and careers if you pick the character you want to play beforehand. 
Must Complete Aspirations and Careers unless specified.
If you are playing for historical accuracy then you may change the aspirations and careers to better fit the era, but must still complete these. 
If your sim is an orphan then they start with no simoleons.
Some categories do not specify marriage. If it is unspecified then it is up to you to determine what fits your storyline best.
Have fun! Remember to play the game in a way that makes you happy. If something doesn’t work for you or you don’t have a pack then change the rules to better suit your gameplay!

Summary: 
You begin as a romantic. You find a partner that you are smitten with and would do anything for them, including dedicating your heart and soul to reviving them after they die in an accident. You bring them back only for them to waste no time indulging themselves in everything life has to offer…including other people. You catch them cheating on you. Heartbroken and jaded you have a difficult time trusting anyone. 
Traits: Loyal, Self-assured, Jealous
Aspiration: Soulmate
Career: Secret Agent
Rules:
Find a partner and have a higher romance than friendship 
Have your partner die, and resurrect them(if pleading with the grim reaper fails, must bring them back by other means)
Have your partner cheat on you, leaving you heartbroken

Win at least 3 Fights before seeing your Birth Parents again 
Find a non-commital Sim

Have your partner die and revive them

They become a mentor to you. Their knowledge and life lessons help you to become a just and fair “ruler”.

Must have the Sixam Owl Familiar (Archimedes)

If you choose the Eilonwy path it may be better suited to have this heir with a spellcaster 
If you choose the Taran Path then you must move to a farm for your heir before they are a teen.
The Black Cauldron - Early Middles Ages [476 is the beginning] In Prydain
Eilonwy (Realm of Magic) 
While Eilonwy is in the movie we get more of her character and life from the books, “The Chronicles of Prydain” which is what the movie is based on. The Eilonwy generation will be based heavily on the books than the little we get in the movie. 
Summary: 
As a child you are wild and unkempt, even forgoing shoes. You are known for being confident, outspoken, and having an excellent moral compass. You are often mistaken for a “Damsel” in distress, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. You come from a long line of formidable enchantresses. Passed down to you from your ancestors is your “Bauble” (familiar) which you are never without. However, your knowledge of magic growing up is limited, but you are never without your magic Bauble (Your familiar). As a teen, you visit your ancestral home for “proper” training. You become friends with your future love, but you don’t admit your feelings until years later. 
Traits: Self-Assured, Cheerful, Vegetarian

Summary:
 You lose your parents and to make a living you develop survival skills to stay one jump ahead. You steal only to survive, and while you develop severe insecurities, you remain good at heart. Your insecurity leads you to believe no one would want to be with a street rat. That is until you meet someone who could change your life.

Aspiration: Fabulously Wealthy 
Career: Steal for money
Rules:
Become an orphan as a teen or young adult (If you choose Moana to play next then do not kill your parents to become an Orphan. Instead, run away from home.)

You seek constant love and validation. You must perform increasingly grand feats to sustain your fame. Once you reach the top it can be hard to maintain the love of the people. You go to an isolated volcanic island where you meet your best friend. They force you to join them in healing the land and doing what is right (not because it will gain you fame). 
Traits: Active, Self-Assured, Child of the Islands 
Aspiration: World Famous Celebrity AND Beach Life 
Career: Lifeguard AND Must do Island Living Odd Jobs (Can also Fish and dive for $$)

The Everything Sim Challenge
We have all seen the typical legacy challenges. Are you tired of them or looking for something different?
Whether you’re a family player, have limited packs or just like a bit of chaos I assure you this is a challenge for everyone. You decide.
I present the Everything Sim Challenge!
The Everything Sim is very ambitious and wants to do it all. From climbing mountains, to saving towns from evil plants to being an artist.
Unlike the usual legacy format, to make things easier aging is not a requirement.
If you want keep your sim forever as they attempt to do everything the game will allow. If you choose to allow aging only normal lifespan
Although for those of us who may bored of playing the same sim for a long time, you are allowed to change your everything sim. However you cannot cheat to give the new sim the same aspirational traits or skills as the previous everything sim. You must either regain them or go on without it
The goal of the challenge is to try and gain as many aspirational traits as possible.
Rules:
- You can choose whatever aspiration you want to begin with
- Everything sim must maintain the ambitious trait, you are allowed to choose/change the other traits as much as you want
- Aspiration is up to you but once you choose it you cannot change aspiration until it’s completed
- No money cheats other than to move into a house
- No cheating, everything must be accomplished organically
- Mods are allowed
- Children and marriage is allowed
* Trying to learn/max out as many skills as possible [OPTIONAL]
* Try out an aspiration from the pack you hate the most first [OPTIONAL]
Essentially go crazy and try parts of the game you never would have before!

This is a 5 generation legacy based on the core 5 members of the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers
No rules on how many children each generation should have, how they have them, or how you choose the next heir

Basically just made this challenge for myself while rewatching Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and wanted to share (might end up adding an extra gen for Tommy later)

Pink Ranger: People often underestimate you due to your interests and hopeless romantic nature, but you’re a force to be reckoned with. You don’t let others’ opinions affect you; your loyalty to your friends and your interests knows no bounds.
Traits: romantic, self-absorbed, loyal
Occupation: style influencer (stylist)
Skills: fitness, painting

Big Lifetime Accomplishment: have a collection of 10 masterpieces in your home that you painted
Blue Ranger: You grew up being called a nerd, but you always took it as a compliment. Your love for science is common knowledge; however, you only let your real friends know about your love for jazz music and passion for piano.

Welcome to the Gossip Girl Legacy Challenge, where your Sims will navigate the treacherous social waters of the Upper East Side, striving for fame, fortune, and maybe a little bit of infamy. Over 9 generations, you’ll tell the stories of sims whose lives are filled with drama, romance, and scandal. Remember, in this world, Gossip Girl is always watching <3
General Rules:
Start on an empty lot with your founder; this will be the location of your family's estate throughout the challenge. Your estate should evolve with each generation, reflecting the family's current status and the era's aesthetic.
No money cheats. Your Sims must earn their wealth and status through careers, investments, or other in-game means.
Follow the career and aspiration requirements for each generation. Your Sim cannot move on to fulfilling their next generation’s goals until the current generation’s aspirations and goals are completed.
Keep the family name going as a symbol of their legacy on the Upper East Side.
Each generation has a theme color that should be reflected in their wardrobe, room decorations, and significant events like parties or weddings.
Now, let the drama unfold.

Bloom Legacy Challenge umfasst 10 Generationen die Zielen für jede Generation verfolgt. Jede Generation hat einen Handlungsstrang und eine Hintergrundgeschichte, die so viele Details wie möglich enthält, um einen durch die Geschichte zu führen - und gleichzeitig genug Raum lässt, damit jeder die Geschichte zu seiner eigenen machen könnte!
GEN EINS
Sie sind in einer Kommune aufgewachsen, umgeben von Menschen, die sich für die Umwelt einsetzten und ein "langsames Leben" bevorzugten. Alle teilten sich die Verantwortung für die Pflege des Gartens, das Kochen, die Reinigung und die Versorgung der Tiere und des Grundstücks, auf dem Sie lebten. Du bist überall barfuß herumgelaufen, und deine besten Freunde waren die Tiere und Pflanzen, die dich umgaben. Als du älter wurdest, hast du dich danach gesehnt, ein eigenes Leben außerhalb der Kommune zu beginnen. Du hast von einem größeren Leben geträumt, in einer neuen Stadt, mit einem Öko-Haus und einer umweltbewussten Stadt. Du hast von einer Stadt namens Evergreen Harbour gehört, in der es Gleichgesinnte gibt, die versuchen, den industriellen Fußabdruck der Stadt zu verändern, und glaubst, dass dies der perfekte Ort für dich ist, um dein eigenes Abenteuer zu beginnen. Deine Eltern sind mit deiner Entscheidung nicht einverstanden, und da du dich gefangen fühlst, beschließt du, auf eigene Faust loszuziehen, sobald du erwachsen bist. Eines Nachts schnappst du dir ein Zelt aus der Kommune und gehst mit nichts weiter als den Kleidern am Leib, dem Zelt und dem Plan auf in dein neues Leben in Evergreen Harbour. Als du dort ankommst, ist die Unterkunft für Rucksacktouristen voll besetzt. Macht nichts, du hast ja dein Zelt und dein Wissen über Pflanzen. Du stolperst über einen verlassenen Schrottplatz bei den Zügen und beschließt, dass dies der beste Platz für dich sein wird. Er liegt in der Nähe der Gemeindezentren, die renoviert werden müssen, und du kannst in dieser Gegend viele Leute treffen. Du hast Angst, bist aber aufgeregt, weil du hier dein neues Leben beginnen willst. Du überlebst, indem du in Müllcontainern nach Möbeln, Mahlzeiten und Geld suchst, das du auftreiben kannst. Du knüpfst Kontakte in der Gemeinde, triffst Gleichgesinnte und beginnst, daran zu arbeiten, diese Stadt in eine umweltfreundliche Nachbarschaft zu verwandeln. Du fängst an, das Grundstück, auf dem du wohnst, zu säubern, den Müll zu beseitigen, den Platz mit allen Produkten/Pflanzen zu füllen, die du finden kannst, und ein Öko-Haus von Grund auf zu bauen. Du verdienst weiterhin Geld mit deinem Garten und der Herstellung von Dingen im Recycler, wenn du schließlich das Ziel erreichst, diesen Raum gemeinsam mit der Gemeinde zu eröffnen. Du verliebst dich in jemanden, den du in der Backpacker-Unterkunft kennengelernt hast (beliebiges Geschlecht/Pronomen). Schließlich bekommst du ein Kind/mehrere Kinder (mit einem Partner oder du kannst Single bleiben, wenn es in deine Geschichte passt, und eine künstliche Befruchtung/Adoption für ein Kind vornehmen, wenn du alleinerziehend sein willst), adoptierst streunende Tiere, die du unterwegs triffst, und erschaffst ein Öko-Paradies, von dem du geträumt hast, in einer Stadt, die du jetzt dein Zuhause nennst.

Als Kind bist du damit aufgewachsen, dass deine Eltern dir gezeigt haben, wie du dich selbst versorgen und die Umwelt und die Tiere um dich herum respektieren kannst. Du hast ein langsames, aber glückliches Leben geführt und beobachtet, wie sich die Stadt um dich herum vor deinen Augen veränderte. Aber das war nicht genug. Du hast deinen Eltern zugehört, als sie davon erzählten, wie sie eine Kommune verlassen haben, um in deiner Heimatstadt ein Abenteuer zu beginnen - und du verstehst es - du möchtest auch dein eigenes Abenteuer beginnen. Aber dein Herz ist nicht daran interessiert, in einer Kleinstadt zu gärtnern und das langsame Leben zu leben. Du willst in die Vollen gehen, schneller leben. Als deine Eltern dich zu ThrifTea mitnahmen, wusstest du, dass die Mode deinen Namen rief. Deine Eltern haben dir beigebracht, dass Sparsamkeit ein wichtiger Weg ist, um umweltbewusst zu leben, und so hast du beschlossen, dich mit Secondhand-Looks in der Modewelt durchzusetzen. Als Kind bist du kreativ und zeichnest verschiedene Outfits und Designs, die du dir ausdenkst. Du träumst davon, in die Stadt San Myshuno zu ziehen und dich als Influencerin für nachhaltige Mode zu etablieren. Studieren? Universität? Nichts für dich. Du sparst von Kindesbeinen an und bis ins Teenageralter hinein Geld, das du in einem kleinen Glas in deinem Zimmer aufbewahrst, um in die Stadt zu ziehen. Du beschließt, die Highschool abzubrechen; du bist fertig und bereit für San Myshuno, egal was das bedeutet. Mit dem Geld, das du gespart hast, verabschiedest du dich von deinen Eltern und machst dich auf den Weg in dein neues Leben, gespannt auf das, was vor dir liegt. Die Stadt ist laut, geschäftig und ganz anders als deine langsame, ökologische Stadt. Und du liebst sie. Du gehst auf Partys, triffst Freunde und richtest dir eine kleine Wohnung ein. (Du kannst Mitbewohner haben, wenn du das in deine Geschichte einbauen willst). Du triffst andere Menschen, die sich für die Modewelt interessieren und eine Gruppe von Freunden gründen. Du arbeitest daran, ein Influencer zu werden und strebst danach, der beste Trendi-Verkäufer/Käufer zu sein. Du beginnst dein Leben als junger Erwachsener, indem du eine Nacht lang Party machst. Du hast einen One-Night-Stand, und so begrüßen wir die Generation 3 auf der Welt. Du bist dir nicht sicher, wie du das alles schaffen sollst, während du in einer winzigen Wohnung wohnst und dein Modegeschäft aufbaust, aber du arbeitest so hart wie möglich, um es dir leisten zu können, in der Stadt zu bleiben. Du fängst an, zusätzlich zu Trendi zu fotografieren und stellst fest, dass dir das auch Spaß macht. Du triffst alle möglichen Leute in der Stadt und erlebst Food-Festivals, Geek-Con, Fußballveranstaltungen, Cottage-Messen usw. Als du älter wirst (erwachsen), lernst du bei der Arbeit jemanden kennen und beschließt, dass du mit ihm oder ihr zusammenziehen willst.

 Bisher gibt es erst zwei Generationen. Sobald maysiemoon die weiteren Generationen ihrer Challenge hinzugefügt hat, erweitere ich meine Übersetzung.
