This has been a long time coming, I've been wanting to make something like this for ages and I finally had some time over the weekend to get it done - I dunno how useful this will be for anyone else, but hopefully at least a few other people might find this template handy!

I made a couple examples of what it can look like edited over screenshots - as you can see you can just resize the boxes & text as you like to get the ideal final product:

Instructions for use:

This is a .psd file, and as such it needs to be opened in an editing tool that allows that file format - I personally use photopea which is a free online alternative to adobe photoshop - Disclaimer: I haven't tried using it any other editing software like photoshop / gimp but it'll probably work in there too, if you have any problems in those apps lmk and I'll try and fix it!

Each section of the template is separated into folders, open these up and you can edit the text / image elements for each section, you'll need to hide and unhide layers to be able to do this (the little eye icon next to a layer toggles it to be hidden / unhidden)

If you need to resize the boxes, make sure to hold down the shift-key so that you're able to do it more precisley

I have included icons for every career in the sims 3 including all of the expansion packs, however I have not included the skill images you might need as that would be a bit too extensive

For the skill images, I recommend downloading this ultimate icon collection from ModTheSims, as it'll almost definetly have everything you could possibly need to use :)

The font used for this template is DM Sans, it can be found in all variations here - I only used 'bold' & 'bold italic'

Love in the City - A City Living Let's Play (active)

Love in the City is a city living let's play where we follow the daily life of Sasha Love, a 23 year old living in San Myshuno who works in the tech guru career.

Sasha left her hometown of San Sequoia to move to the big city to find love, success and friendship.

This is my more "aesthetic" let's play and more chill gameplay

Baddies: Del Sol Valley - A Get Famous Let's Play (active)

Baddies: Del Sol Valley is a Bad Girl Club/Baddies style series. This let's play follow a house of 8 girls looking to make their way in Del Sol Valley and find their own respective paths to stardom.

Each girl is unique in her own way but with a house full of 8 girls, drama, arguments & lots and LOTS of fighting is bound to happened.

This let's play is definitely more chaotic so those who enjoy sims fighting and cussing each other out, this is the let's play for you!

Garden of Eden - A High School Years Let's Play (on hold, for now)

Garden of Eden is a coming up story following Eden Fontaine as she travels & navigates through her teen year, high school & family dynamics growing up in Copperdale with her twin sister, Riley.

SMOKE IT OFF PSD FOR TS4 : DOWNLOAD

I posted about yesterday and finally finished it up. This was originally made for this post. I tweaked it a little to work with more photos and adjusted some of the layers :3 So now it's ready to be released!! This PSD file is meant to be used for Sims 4 screenshots, though you could use it with any type of photo/gif really. You don't have to credit me when using but simply tagging me in a post would be fab!

Hi there! Sorry that I was (once again) MIA, I'm busy with college but also haven't really opened my game in quite a while. However, I've been working on something along with @syninplays and thought it was worth sharing it since many of you might benefit from it.

To further explain; we both enjoy building in the sims quite a lot, and often like to use real life references from house exteriors or plans, though certain pages (real state websites, mostly) delete the posts after the houses have been sold, which leaves us without that lovely reference we liked. And though we've been hoarding images from these websites for quite some time, we decided to put them to good use and share them with the community.

That being said, at the end of this post you can find a link to a dedicated page I created, with proper filters so you can search for the perfect house that suits your sim's families.

Houses can be sorted by number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms and by other facilities/extras such as having a garage (some houses have a dedicated space within the lot where a car can fit, but as it's not inside/an actual garage, we agreed to not consider those spaces as a garage), a pool and lastly if they're castles! We might eventually add more filters if we find it necessary, but the existing ones should do for now. We are very likely to add more houses too, though it depends on what we find and like enough to save/make an archive of.

Note that every single house posted in that page, if you click on the image, has a "preview" button which will take you to a Google Drive folder with the house's plans plus some other pictures; not every existing image of the house is included, as we only download those that we believe showcase the house's exterior/interior features best - aka no ugly interiors unless they somehow help understand the layout.

Last but not least, we don't take any credit from the house's pictures or the plans. Most pictures were taken from Savills or Inigo House, and you may be able to find the listings (if the house wasn't sold) if you search by image using the pics we shared.

I was so so so excited about the release of Blackout UI by @simstate recently! I've been wanting a dark-mode modern UI in my game for the longest time and they finally came thru with their mod tysm angel <3<3

With this exciting new release, I needed to rework a few of my Gameplay PSDs to fit in better with this mod - and I've made them available for download here if anyone else would like to switch!

What's In The Folder:

💫 Wish Template: → 3 frame colour options: Black, Green & Grey

🥶 Moodlet Template: → 4 frame / mood effect colour options: Neutral, Positive, Negative & Plain Grey

💼 Career Template: → 3 frame colour options: Black, Blue, Green & Grey → Career icons from BG to All EPs included → Extra mood icons for the 'Performance' section included

Extra: Transparent background alternative included for all templates!

Instructions:

I also intended for these to be used alongside game icon collections, here are some suggestions for those: TS2 Icons / TS3 Icons + Extras / TS4 Icons

Just edit the text, hide & unhide the layers / folders and place the icons to get your desired outcome, then save as a .png and plop the final image over your gameplay screenshots :)

For any PSDs I create in the future I hope to create both light-mode & dark-mode versions so you can take your pick - I’m also open to requests so if you have anything you’d like to see as a psd lmk 😊💞

Finally, thanks again to SimState for their wonderful mod - the UI is absolutely gorgeous and I will be exclusively using it from now on! Pls go show them some love if you haven't already 🫶

I'm currently tweaking my calendar settings and customizing holidays to fit my gameplay. Gotta say, I'm definitely enjoying 14-day seasons much more than 7-day ones. Also I'm thinking about moving New Year to the middle of the winter, instead of the last day of winter, makes a bit more sense to me, idk.
