Angst thought
Everyone says ghost either looks like his dad and it makes him hate himself, or he looks like his mom as a reminder of her, but
What if he hates himself, and he looks like his mom (separately) so when he looks in the mirror with all his self-loathing, he spirals even more because it's like he's hating his mother, and he can't handle that, but he also can't stop hating himself

Imagine Simon's mom doesn't die with Tommy and Beth. Maybe she was out of town, or at a friend's house, and Roba's men were sloppy and missed her. Anyway, so it's just Simon and her now, and because he blames himself for what happened, he's pulled away from her.
He pays her rent, even if he wanted her to live in a nicer apartment complex. And he visits during her birthday and Mother's Day, and sometimes just randomly stops by. But he never stays very long, and he doesn't tell her a lot about his new life. It's a very one sided relationship, but she tries to make the best of it.
And then you move in next door, during one of Simon's deployments. You feel bad for the sweet lady that lives next to you. She never seems to have much company, and you take it upon yourself to befriend her, spending more time in her apartment than your own.
You learn about her ex husband, her sons, the tragedy, and most importantly, you learn about Simon. And you hate him. Mrs. Riley (she insists you call her Sarah) is such a lovely woman, and it's clear how much she cares about her living son, how hard she's trying to keep their relationship alive.
It's the second Mother's Day after you move in when you finally meet Simon. Your relationship with your own mother is complicated, so you've opted to spend the day with Mrs. Riley. You'd gotten her a small present, and had planned to spend the day drinking wine and watching historical romance movies.
You're thoroughly shocked when you knock on her door, and a man answers. Six feet, built like a brick house, but under his scowl, you recognize Sarah's eyes.
“You must be Simon.”
His scowl deepens, but before he can say anything, Mama Riley is pushing past him, pulling you into her apartment to fuss over you.
She apologizes for not telling you sooner, but your plans will have to be rescheduled. Simon's back early, and she can't waste a precious second.
You're understanding. You've listened to her worried rants, given her space to cry over how things have turned out. You know she loves spending time with her son, even if the visits are short and he doesn't talk much.
Simon doesn't miss the way you glare at him. There's a fury in your eyes, even as you cheerily wish his mother a happy mother's day. For a moment, he wonders if you're a spy. But that thought is quickly diminished, when you verbally eviscerate him at the door.
You're quiet, not wanting to upset his mom, but your anger is clear. It may not be your business, but Mama Riley is your friend, and you adore the older woman. And you cannot stand by while he treats her like this. She loves her son so much, and he needs to step up and try harder.
As you're chewing him out, Simon's already head over heels, planning your wedding as the seconds tick by.
(A/N: You can read this as a stand alone piece, but I did write 3 more drabbles (four in total!) for this! They're all on my blog under the tag mama riley au. Thank you for reading!)

Nsfw!!! tehee
Imagine being Simon Ghost Riley’s ex wife who he can’t forget. You two have a son together and after being on a mission for a few weeks, he wanted to take him out somewhere for some quality time since you had full custody.
Even though he’s been away for only a few weeks, you two haven’t seen each other for months now.
Simon knocks on your door hesitantly. He wants to see you, he needs to. But when you open the door, he doesn’t know what to say.
You’re so beautiful, you changed but you’re glowing.
You just greet him with a simple “hi” and let him in. Simon walks in, lowering his head so he doesn’t hit it on the doorframe and you both sit on the couch and wait…
“He’s not here” you say, breaking the silence and trying to make the situation less awkward after a moment of silence.
“Where is he?” He asks with his deep voice and thick British accent that makes your heart melt each time.
“He’s at his friend’s birthday, he’ll be back later…in a few hours” you reply not daring to look at him in the eyes.
“In a few hours…aight” Simon passes a hand through his short blond hair, trying to think of something to say.
You two have been trying to hold a decent conversation for an hour now, catching up on your respective lives. He tells you about the struggles of his job and you tell him about whatever’s been bothering you lately…until you felt his gaze lower to your hand, especially the finger where your ring is placed, the ring he placed. The ring you can’t get rid of even though you tried to.
“You still have your wedding band?”
He asks as he stares at the ring he passed on your finger a few years before, as if he was mesmerized. He wished to do it again, and again… see you all dolled up in your pretty dress for him with that beautiful smile on your face. You two were so happy that day, like it was the best day of your lives.
He wished he could fuck you again like the night of your wedding, slowly and steadily. It was so intimate, just the two of you, his hair tickling your jaw as he pounded into you. He remembers the way your arms were wrapped around his neck and the way your hands would move to touch his hair. He remembers the sloppy kisses he gave you while he was listening to the soft symphony your moans were composing.
Simon snaps out of his transe when you answer
“Yes…it’s a pretty ring after all”
He nods.
He feels dumb for thinking that you two still had something; you moved on and it was clear.
He doesn’t want you to know that he kept the ring and a few of your things too. He doesn’t want you to know that you’re the one in his mind when he’s alone jerking himself off and overstimulating his soaked cock trying to recreate what you would do to him. He’s ashamed. The shirt that you forgot to get back from him had already been stained with his cum so many times that it doesn’t even smell like you anymore.
You already moved on but he didn’t, he never forgot your dates where you’d be just the two of you on the couch watching an old crappy movie. He never forgot the long hours he’d spend sleeping on your pregnancy belly while you’d caress gently his freshly cut hair. He never forgot the way your son would grab his big tatted arm in his small hands…He never forgot the feeling of your pussy squeezing him and taking him so well. The way you’d ride him on nights he felt tired, or the way your tongue would swirl around his tip, trying to milk every drop of cum he had left in him.
Simon loves you, he loves everything about you and never stoped loving you…
…that’s why you’re on the couch right now with his face buried in between your thighs. Simon’s tongue passes through your folds and teases your clit slowly while you scratch his hair. He’s so good for you, going a bit faster each time he hears you whimper.
The tip of his tongue teases your soaking hole while your toes curl around nothing.
After a moment of this sweet torture, he finally decides that his pants were getting too tight and stops licking you. He lifts his eyes to look at you, his face all red from embarrassment as your hand leaves his hair.
“Please, let me fuck you like you deserve” He asks politely while you’re panting heavily. At this point, his dick is the only thing you’ve been wanting. It’s been a while, too long.
You agree with a nod and he doesn’t hesitate to lift you up and put you gently on the kitchen counter. He used to make love to you for hours on it, it was the perfect height. He could fuck you from the front with your legs over his shoulders or from the back with your boobs pressed against the cold granite countertop.
He takes a moment to appreciate your body and watches you all vulnerable and needy for him. He wants to make you cry, to make you beg for more because he knows you will want more. He’s the only one who knows what’s best for you.
As you adjust your body on the counter, Simon hurries to take his fully hard boner out of his pants and boxers. It’s bigger than you remember, covered of his precum and ready to stuff you full of his semen.
You bite your lip in anticipation the moment he grips your thigh to holds it up. He’s so hot when he’s on top, his eyebrows are furrowed as he lines up his dick with the hole of your soaked cunt.
He puts it in with a low “fuck” escaping his lips. You feel so good around him.
Simon pounds into you, his fingers digging into the fat of your thighs, making sure to leave dark bruises on your skin. He’s loosing himself into your folds feeling your burning walls squeeze his cock too much for him to hold his orgasm.
He burries his dick deeply into you, his tip kissing your cervix at each thrust and eventually it begins to feel too stimulating, too good. Simon cums into you but doesn’t stop his hips from moving. The white substance drips down to the counter and his moans are higher and louder. Now, his thrust are messy and uneven because of the overwhelming pleasure he’s feeling trying to bring you to your climax.
You reach it eventually, your own juices melting with his as you two are panting messes. Simon looks at you, at your beautiful face he missed so much. He won’t let you go again.
About an hour later, after a good shower, he randomly decides to kiss you and mumbles “I love you”
I know the end is ass idk how to end fics 🤯 and tbh I know that my writing sucks also bc I have great ideas but poor grammar and vocabulary 😓 I promise to get better bear with me 🙌🏾

The infamous, long awaited, not once, but twice deleted… simon riley x single mom reader fic is finally here:
Simon riley can’t cook for the life of him. Every time he’s back home from deployment, he’ll just survive on instant noodles and canned beer for maybe a week and then he goes back to base and gladly munches on the prepackaged food they throw at him.
Truth is, it has always been like this, and he’s never seen anything wrong with it.
Until price told him that the next op will be in 3 months and this grown ass man shivered just thinking about eating shitty frozen food for 90 days straight.
He begged price, said he’d stay and clean up the base for free, anything! He’d do anything to stay! And price told him to ‘piss off for 12 weeks before he went insane’
Cut to simon, standing in the frozen goods isle, letting out a groan as he rubbed the bridge of his crooked nose. And he angrily stomped towards the frozen bags on the shelves and dropped everything in sight into his cart, trying so hard not to puke at the mere thought of eating all of that junk. The thing is, he was so mad at that moment that if some poor soul approached him asking where the milk was, they’d get a box of frozen turkey legs shoved down their throat.
And you know, someone did approach him. And no, they got to live.
It was a tiny toddler, maybe around 5 or 6, wearing a purple tutu skirt, and she was holding a dino plushie to her chest, looking straight up at simon.
Picture this, a grown 6’2 man, muscular with tats and everything, looking down at a 5 year old girl with messy hair and yellow rain boots. They both looked so serious, none of them broke the eye contact, staring at each other with puzzled expressions.
Simon was about to continue shopping when he saw a woman running towards them, she dropped down to the ground, distressed and scared, tightly hugging the toddler. She whispered to the kid ‘why did you leave me, never do that to me ever again, mom was so scared’
And you know, he could’ve just walked away at that point. Of course, It was a heartwarming scene to behold, a mother finding their lost child, but god, simon couldn’t stop staring at the woman kneeling on the dirty in front of him, the way her eyes were glossy with tears, her cheeks slightly red from the tear stains and she was beautiful. Beautiful.
It had been years, if not decades, since the last that simon thought a human being was beautiful. He wasn’t used to the butterflies that were flying in his stomach, and he wasn’t sure how to react. So he sat down, next to her.
“Hey… t’s okay, don’t worry luv, you found her, alright?”
“I- she was holding my hand one second… and the next i couldn’t find her! I got so… scared, and she wasn’t anywhere, and i thought- i thought”
Simon wasn’t one for holding hands.
But he held her hand. He put his calloused pale hand over hers, and he couldn’t help but to let out a shaky sigh at the feeling. He was dizzy, like he had been drinking bottles of cheap booze, but he didn’t feel sick like the way the cheap booze made him feel, he felt warm.
And with that, the woman looked up at him,
“Thank you? For, for-“
“I didn’ find her luv, you did, but y’welcome anyway”
He laughed out, trying to act like there weren’t fireworks exploding in his head just by looking at her eyes.
But she chuckled, she chuckled at him!
“Sorry i couldn’t help but notice… is that like 20-ish pizzas you’ve got?”
And she pointed at his cart, which had a huge pile of frozen pizzas stacked on top of each other. She giggled.
He cursed under his breath,
“Yea, i- long story, i… can’t cook?”
“Can’t cook? Cook food?”
He put his hand on his neck, rubbing the aching muscle, as he let out another sigh shaking his head.
“That… can’t be good for you, blood pressure is the silent killer after all”
“I know, i know, i-“
“I could… teach you how to cook?”

thinking about morally questionable mom reader who dated simon years ago before he ultimately chose his military career over her.
it’s been maybe ten years since you’ve seen simon, and running into him was the very last thing you wanted.
but it was kismet. 7am before school drop off, you held your little boy’s tiny hand in yours, ordering your coffee. the register next to you opened and simon stepped into your peripheral. you stuttered, glancing over once and then fully turning your head.
simon froze, holding your gaze as he took you in. you’d filled out more since he last saw you, then there was, of course, the boy. the boy who had your hair and your eyes.
you couldn’t say no when he softly asked you to sit down with him. you were going to miss drop off, but you couldn’t be bothered to think about it with simon towering in front of you.
“how long have you been married?”
he asked, eyeing your flashy ring. it’s just like the one you always described to him.
“five years.”
he nods, sucking in his bottom lip like he always did when he was annoyed. you felt like he was interrogating you, and you knew you stood no chance against his years of intel training.
“what’s his name?” he nodded towards the boy at your side. your cheeks flushed.
“it’s simon.”

more Si & single!mom reader thoughts whilst I wait for my blood test😋
She's one of those people who refuses to get sick. Not that she doesn't get sick, because she's got a toddler who associates with other toddlers and children are unhygienic and lowk a little nasty.
After moving into the neighbourhood, she really struggles to make new mom friends. She wants to, but she's also lived in fight or flight mode for years and the whole flight thing is much harder when you've got friendships and commitments weighing you down.
Simon is the only person she trusts (albeit tentatively) to look after her daughter. He offers to babysit her when single mom!reader gets sick, but only ever does so in their flat in the knowledge that she'll be far more comfortable with her daughter a few feet away. The sound of Simon chatting away to her (not in a baby voice because he won't be caught dead talking in a baby voice) is so utterly comforting as he asks the babbling, cheerful toddler whether she'd like applesauce or a fruit cup (or ice cream, because her mummy isn't there to tell them off)
He gets invested in My Little Pony and Bluey, like genuinely.
When single mom!reader is sound asleep (yes he pops his head around the door to check) he slings her daughter over his hip and makes his way around the flat to fix the lock she hadn't realised wasn't working and tighten up the hot tap.
It's actually really nice for single mom!reader to have someone to finally trust, again, tentatively, but having someone to look after she and her daughter when everything gets too much is a welcome relief.

Last Call (Fluff portion)
(Fluff. All fluff till the very very end <3)
Monday was normally the most chaotic within the Riley household, as you had to get to work early which would leave Simon with a wailing six-month-old and very stubborn seven year old to get ready. However on that snowy day, even half past nine not a sound was heard, and that could be summed up to the very evident fact that it was winter break. Somehow even the slumbering baby knew of this and had chosen to not make a single sound during the night, sleeping through the snowstorm that hissed outside the warm walls.
Yet. like always, there always had to be something to break the silence, shriek the peaceful slumber into reality, and that thing just happened to be Simon’s phone buzzing. Not bothering to open your eyes you grumble, burying your face into the pillow- his only muttering being heard as he leaned over you to grab the phone. When his weight moved off of you the sense of being awake was a bit overwhelming, so you moved to sit up with a yawn- not quite caring to listen in on what he was saying.
“’S Johnny, asking me to pick him up for the training in forty,” His words were hushed, more of a mumble as he set the phone down, leaning back to where his head comfortably laid in your lap. For a moment he could see the confusion etch across your tired expression before you hummed.
“The conference. Forgot about it.” You yawn and rub your eyes with the back of your hand before looking down at him, smiling softly at the look you would only describe as ‘pure admiration’ shining on his face, ”Si?”
With a slight tilt of the head upward told you he had given his undivided attention, however, he realized what you were about to ask and then nodded, “Are we usin the fancy creamer or do we wan’ sugar?”
You playfully hum, watching him stand up, smiling up to him as he stretches, “Fancy creamer, please.”
With a final nod, he leaned over onto the bed, using one hand to stabilize himself to press a kiss to your head, and then as you moved your head he placed a short kiss on your lips before standing up. Just as always, when he opened the door he was met with the oversized lap dog he called Riley curled up on the dog bed (that the dog would drag around the house to where he wanted it to be). The dog perks up when the door opens, sitting to attention and then following him down the hall.
Simon wouldn’t say the house is large, but he was proud of it, after all, he had spent a solid four months renovating it- from baseboards to texturing the ceilings. It served its purpose, the kitchen itself was nice and led to the backyard with a sliding door that he opened to let Riley out. He found Ollie sitting at the kitchen table, laptop open, and a bowl of cereal in front of him. Now, of course, he had woken up when he heard the seven-year-old’s door open, but he also knew that it made the kid smile to think he was able to sneak past him.
The sound of the video on Ollie’s laptop (Simon’s) wasn’t loud by any means but it was what he was watching, by the sound of it it was most likely an airsoft gun and the commentary was lighthearted, two kids, giggling and laughing most likely having a ‘battle’ with the friends which they recorded and then put it on YouTube. It was stupid, they didn’t sound alike, yet it still caused a slight dump of adrenaline to shoot itself into his blood.
“Olls?”
“Yes, sir?” The boy replied, mouth half full with cereal.
“Can ya put your earbuds in? Or mute it.” To his words, the video was paused and Ollie ran to the living room, coming back with a pair of camo headphones and plugging them into the laptop before returning to his video.
As the coffee brewed he had put on a kettle, got the two mugs out, and set them out, leaning against the counter as he stared at the floor, thinking about whatever would come to mind- which was everything. That was until he heard Riley bark at the backdoor, so he let the dog in, making sure the dog stopped on the towel they had laid out to dry off. The newspaper in the dog’s mouth dropped to his feet. Interestingly, he hadn’t been on the newspaper list in years. So he assumed Riley had jumped the fence and taken the neighbors (the dog had a hard time going against training, and he would often find a way to fulfill his training even if not needed anymore)
Nonetheless, he wasn’t going to be upset about it as he highly doubted his neighbors would care, so he set the newspaper on the counter and went back to the coffee pot about to pour it into the mug when he saw you walking down the hall, Tess in your grasp. To the sight he frowned, still returning your kiss as you gave him a quick peck. “Was gonna bring you your coffee, didn’t have to get up.”
With a shake of your head, you put the baby in the highchair as you go to the fridge, getting a bottle from it, “Was about to fall back asleep, had to get up.”
To that his eyebrows furrow and he takes the creamer you had been holding out for him, adding a portion to your mug and setting it by the highchair as you gave Tess her bottle. Surprisingly, he had expected babies to be fussy, crying all the time (at least that is how Jane, Johnny’s niece, had been) however Tess barely made a noise. She would only cry if someone else was crying, or be upset if someone else seemed upset. So when the baby saw his disgruntled expression her once giddy and happy face downturned.
When Tess got her bottle though she seemed to forget about her emotions and happily went to drinking, while you stood back up and picked up the mug, noticing the newspaper. “You signed up for the paper again?”
As you bring the mug to your lips you look to your husband, who was waiting for his tea to seep, and he shook his head, “Ri grabbed it.”
“Probably from the Johnsons, I don’t think they’ll care,” You remark with a shrug and then walk over to Olls, glancing over what he was watching and then pressing a kiss to his head, tugging off one of the headphones to speak to him, “Twenty more minutes, then I need you to go clean up your room.”
For a millionth of a second, it looked like the boy was about to return with a sharp ‘no’ or something along those lines however the words died on his tongue and he nodded, “Yes, ma’am.”
“And you,” You then turn to your husband, who just glanced up from his coffee and then quickly back down to it, “You gotta get dressed, Johnny is probably waiting in the snow for you.”
“Said in forty, ‘s fault if he ‘s out ther’ ‘fore it.” Simon said sheepishly, “An’ I dunno where my eye-black went.”
To that you furrow your eyebrows, pausing as you think “You’re procrastinating because you don’t know where your eye-black went?”
A short pause and he pulls out his tea bag, “Yes, Mam.”
“Use my eyeshadow then, probably better for your skin,” To your words you could see his expression falter and you could swear you saw the grown man pout for a second before you rolled your eyes and walked over to him, “I probably accidentally put it with the costume makeup.”
“I’ll check after I get dressed, mm?”
“Simon, you have twenty-five minutes before you said you would be at Johnny’s, and he lives how far again?” Silence is what you were met with so you give him a quick kiss and then pat his shoulder, “I’ll get your gear from the office, you find your big boy makeup.”
According to Simon, he could get dressed within thirty seconds, and that includes the mask and the eye-black and making sure everything is holstered and on safety; however, when you time it, it ends up being about two-ish minutes and you wouldn’t lie that it mainly because you would sometimes interrupt him to make sure everything was just right- which he would gripe about. Saying that it didn’t matter and that it was supposed to look messy, to that normally you would scold him, saying that he is representing his family and you refuse to be seen as messy. Then, of course, you have to make sure his mask can be pulled up, purely because he needs to be able to eat and drink (lies)
It would be a lie to say you didn’t find your husband’s military get-up to be somewhat attractive, and terrifying you also wouldn’t like but there was something about it that just made you smile. Yes, you were also aware that any sane human would look at you were crazy, so you supposed it was because you knew the person behind it, knew him first instead of the ghost he pretended to be. So, you smiled as Tess laughed and squealed at the sight of the monstrous man, she always knew her father, no matter what he wore and you supposed that was a good thing. You stood by the door while he kissed the baby goodbye and told Ollie to behave, it felt like a movie, which was almost funny.
“Wan’ me to pick up dinner?” He asked as he grabbed the truck keys from the coffee table.
“Yes please, pizza and don’t forget-”
“Don’t forget the cheesy bread and ‘colas’, yes mam.” With that being said you give him a quick kiss between his eyes and send him off.
Sometimes life felt like a movie, other times it felt… eerie, and what caused that feeling on that day was that as you looked across the street to your neighbors, the Johnsons, you saw their newspaper sitting atop their neatly made patio. Newly placed, as it was atop the snow, meanwhile as you looked over the front porch you saw the small snowless patch atop of one of the chairs.
Maybe Simon did sign up for the newspaper again. Odd thing to lie about.
..
It was around two, Oliver was happily reading while Tess was napping away in her playpen when your phone buzzed, so you set your book down and grabbed the landline (something that Simon was oddly insistent about, and you enjoyed it to be honest) “The Riley’s-”
“I love you.”
The sound of his voice was shaky, which was enough to make your blood run cold and the service was horrid, muffled by static and what you assumed to be other people around.
“Is it Dad? Can you tell him to get more pancake mix?” Ollie chirped up, climbing onto the sofa to you, however, you sit still for a moment.
“Simon?”
“I love you, baby. So much.”
“Honey, I..I love you too, what’s going-”
“I..I can’t tell you right now, but…somethin happened, Johnny…nothin, be home aroun’ midnight.”
“Simon-.”
“I love you.”
(Ahem...uh yeah...anyway... comments, feedback and all that mean the world to me <3)

Love Johnny being lovely and respectful and only ever listening to the authority that is his mom
But also please please PLEASE consider his mom being as crude and loudmouthed as he is. Imagine they spend their days talking shit and swearing to the high heavens at each other bc it's their love language. IMAGINE the pure shock that ANYONE ELSE in the 141 would feel if they heard Soap call his own dad a "grumpy old cocksucker" to his mother's face. Now imagine the second wave or shock that they would have hearing his mom not only not care that much about what was said, but respond with "aye, but you got it from you daft bastard".
If questioned about it, Soap (or his mom) would say that it's typical for them. "We're the only people who can talk to us like that because we're family. We already know we love each other, being nasty is just how we are"

Simon "Ghost" Riley x fem!Reader

Simon always remembers how the army encouraged soldiers to be blood donors. There was a great concern within about it, as it was one of the ways the government found to help hospitals and people who depend on transfusions to survive.
Then campaigns for bone marrow donation began, but it was so rare to find someone compatible that after 6 years on the waiting list, Simon thought he would never find someone who would need him. But that changed two months ago when he received a call from the institute informing him that he should go there immediately.
He underwent more medical exams than he had ever done, and although he was a tough guy, he couldn't deny the pain he felt in the weeks following the procedure. Among so many people dying in beds waiting to find a donor, someone could finally heal because of him. It made Simon feel good about himself, as good as he hadn't felt in a long time. That had been one of the reasons why he joined the army: to help people.
Now he could only hope that whoever he donated to would improve. He found himself during the day thinking about it, wondering if in a few years it would affect him as much as it does now. It's not very fresh in his memory, but Simon is able to superficially remember the day he registered on the bone marrow donor list. He had been in the army for a short time, still a soldier, and "Ghost" didn't even exist yet.
He thought this would be put aside. He didn't understand if he would need to donate more often, not really knowing the process deeply. That's why when he received another call from the same institute, he thought there had been some mistake, or that they would need more, but the reason for the contact surprised him.
The recipient's caregiver wanted to meet him and was willing to break the standard anonymity by revealing their identity. Accepting the offer would mean that he would also need to disclose his personal information, which is why he hesitated so much. But as he constantly replayed the woman's words in his head, he grew restless.
"The caregiver wants to meet you," that's what she said. Could the recipient be a child? Or perhaps an elderly person? Or maybe someone who was already so ill that they could barely decide for themselves. He shouldn't have any information about this person, even something as empty as what that lady had let slip.
"You should accept. Everyone would like to have the opportunity to personally thank the person who saved their life," were the words of his Captain, John "Price." And it had been the push that Simon needed to agree to the idea.
Now, standing in front of the hospital room door, Ghost debated with himself whether he should open it. Just a few meters away was the little boy who had been haunting his mind for the past few days. And how did he know it was a boy? He had been directed to the children's oncology ward when he arrived at the reception minutes ago, as soon as he was cleared by the unit director, who already knew about the situation and the breach of anonymity.
Furthermore, the clipboard with the patient's information on the door also made it clear that it was a boy. The name "Lucas" was printed on the paper, accompanied by a surname that was familiar to him. There weren't many people in the UK with that name, which caught his attention.
All that separated him from the family was that door, dividing the cold hospital corridor from the room he could only hope would be less disheartening and empty. He didn't know if he would find a smile on the other side, or if he would be met with the sad gaze of the child's mother.
This woman had contacted him through a letter. On that day, he hadn't yet notified the institute that he was willing to speak with her, so the letter came anonymously since nothing had been filed. He read what she had to say, revealing some things, such as the fact that she was a single mother and was extremely grateful to God for sending him to save her son. Some paragraphs were difficult to read, where she recounted how she had lost hope before.
The little comfort he found in that text was when she talked about the boy. In those passages, her handwriting was less shaky, and he was sure she was happier when she wrote those parts of the letter. He knew that this had been her attempt to persuade him to come meet her, but without her knowing, he had already decided. Simon kept the piece of paper with him and reread it in his spare moments.
That stirred his emotions. He thought he had managed to harden his heart after everything he had been through, but he was wrong. Deep down in his soul, he was more emotional than he let on to others. He hoped that "Soap" would never find out, or he would be eternally tormented.
"Damn," he muttered softly, snapping back to reality. Simon began to bitterly regret agreeing to this. He should have declined and moved on. He could leave, but he was already here, so he mustered up the courage to knock on the wood.
He considered himself presentable in the civilian clothes he wore, accustomed to the heavy military equipment he carried all day at the base, and also missing the mask covering his face. Simon adjusted the collar of his dress shirt, as a way to occupy his sweaty hands, more nervous about the approaching footsteps he heard than his appearance.
Before the door opened, he had already told himself he would remain silent and wait for the boy's mother to start the conversation. If she asked who he was, he would state his name and explain why was there. But as the woman inside was revealed to him, he fell silent not because he had decided to, but because he was speechless. Suddenly, those seconds he spent admiring the child's surname on the door seemed like a scene from a comedy movie to him. How ironic it is considering he was just thinking about you moments ago and, like magic, you appeared?
It seemed like you took a few extra seconds to recognize him, and he doesn't judge you for that. Although you have changed and are now an adult woman, with a more mature face and body, he had changed much more since he was a teenager. Back when you two were in school, he was shorter and thinner, and he didn't have any of the scars on his face.
But it wasn't just that which changed in him. You stared in complete shock at how different the demeanor of the guy you were in love with was. He was more serious, more intimidating, very different from his brother, Thomas, whom you had seen years ago, just a few days before he was brutally murdered along with his wife and child.
Your legs went weak, and your eyes burned with tears threatening to overflow. You wanted so desperately to say something, but nothing could come out of your mouth. Was this real, after all? You withdrew your hand from the doorknob, not realizing you had been gripping it tightly until now, and sat in the nearest chair to avoid collapsing to the ground.
Your blood pressure had surely dropped, as you were sweating cold and seeing black spots. What were the chances, after so many years and after everything you had been through, of finally finding him just when you weren't even trying anymore?
Your memories since you found out you were pregnant began to flood back. You vividly remember your father's reaction when he found out you were having a baby; what he said when found out that the neighbor's son, Simon, was the father of the child; how you struggled to escape him after he took you away to another state, to cover up the shame of having a "prostitute" as a daughter.
You never managed to tell Simon, and when you returned to that town, the town where you two met, he was no longer there. You didn't have a penny in your pocket and only survived that week because of Tommy's help. He gave you a bed to sleep in, food, and clothes, both for you and his nephew. You remembered the perplexed expression he had when analyzed Lucas's appearance, it was impossible to deny that he was a Riley.
It was because of him that you found out Simon was in the army and that he hadn't come home in months.
You never managed to thank him properly. Just two days after showing up there, Tommy handed you half of the money he had in a bank deposit. He told you that a good part of that money belonged to Simon, and therefore, it belonged to your son too. You rented a hotel room so as not to continue bothering his wife, especially since she now had to cook and clean for five people.
You left for the hotel with the promise to reward him someday and continued making visits while anxiously tried to contact his brother on his phone, but Simon never answered. You didn't have a cell phone and couldn't spend the money Tommy gave you so lightly, deciding to prioritize your son's needs.
Several voicemails were recorded, but there was never a response. You felt angry at Simon. You screamed into your pillow, frustrated for not being answered and repeating to yourself how stupid he was. But the possibility that maybe he was dead haunted you. Tommy had told you how complex his work in the army was, that it was more dangerous than usual.
You always feared what you would find when you saw him again. He could have a wife, a beautiful house, and everything you ever wanted to have with him one day but couldn't. He could have children, children who had the opportunity to grow up with him, unlike Lucas. And then when you found out that no, none of that had happened, a kind of happiness flooded your chest, even though nothing in the world guaranteed that he would want anything with you again. The last time you had anything, you two were barely adults, until one day you left without saying anything. You thought he hated you.
That lasted until one time, when you went to Tommy's house, there was nothing there but blood. You still remember how scared you were when you found the broken door and called the police, who surrounded the scene of the violent crime that had just happened. You waited so long, but so long for Simon to show up. What kind of person doesn't attend their own brother's funeral? That's when you decided to forget him and threw away the phone number you had written down.
Some more time later, when Lucas had just turned 7 years old, your life was turning upside down again. It all started with symptoms of a common virus. He had fevers, weakness, and got tired very easily. Then he started losing weight and getting pale. Many pediatricians said it could be anemia or hepatitis, but more symptoms kept emerging. Joint pains came, as did swellings, and after a year of medical investigation, the diagnosis came: leukemia.
You entered a state of denial. Was there something wrong with his diet? Or his lifestyle? It could be genetic, but there were no cases of cancer in your family. Maybe the Rileys had some?
Since that day, your life has never been the same. With each passing month, your son only got worse. You would give all your savings, live on the streets, or even rob a bank if it meant seeing your baby well again. Fortunately, the government offered treatment for free, but some medicines needed to be acquired more urgently than the hospital could provide, and medicines for such treatment were not cheap at all.
The only thing that could cure your boy was the marrow from a compatible donor. You prayed so much that you could save him, but when the tests were done, it was impossible. If no one in the family could donate, it was almost a death sentence. Your last hope was your father. You hoped to never have to see him again, let alone tell him where you had run away to, but now you were no longer the same foolish young girl who depended on his money.
Despite everything, you knew he loved his grandson, and a single phone call was enough to make him come running. In recent years, he had been worried about the two of you, not knowing where you had gone. He never had the courage to admit he was wrong, and apologizing was never his strong point, but he regrets every day what he did. That day he didn't know how to react. He wanted to kill Simon, the brat who got his only daughter pregnant, just as he was afraid you would become a joke in neighborhood for having such a young son. He only managed to think about leaving to avoid a disaster, never asking what you wanted or how you felt.
For the first time, when he saw you so tired and alone, he held his tongue to not say anything that could ruin everything. Instead, he hugged you tightly, and you were so craving someone's company that you curled up in his arms just like when you were a little girl. He was a grumpy and archaic man, someone who made many mistakes, who still makes them, but he still has humanity within him.
Unfortunately, he was not a match either.
You stopped daydreaming, and you didn't realize how bad you were until you saw an adult Simon crouched in front of you, shouting in the hallway for a doctor, but you tried to silence him by grabbing the nails on his rolled-up shirt sleeve, catching his attention. The last thing you want is for the doctors responsible for your son's health to be alarmed, thinking he's worsened. These professionals worked as hard for him as you did. Simon seemed to understand and went to close the door to prevent curious eyes from appearing.
Simon looked at you with sadness, and it crushed your heart. He was afraid you wouldn't be able to breathe properly again; he knew you were desperately begging for air, but couldn't draw it in. He hesitated to touch you, but gave in to the desire and placed both hands on your cheeks. He was incredulous. It was really you, the girl he loved most in his entire life, more than he thought he was capable of loving another woman. Simon had imagined so many times meeting you again, and he had so many doubts.
"Calm down," he repeated in a whisper, locking his eyes onto yours. He knew panic attacks; he had experienced them himself several times. "I know. I know, dear. It's a lot to process."
"You…" your voice tried to come out amidst desperate breaths, while also trying to swallow the lump in your throat. Your hands grabbed both of his wrists, and your thumb smoothed over the skin, feeling his heartbeat. "It's you who…?"
"Yes. Yes, it's me, the donor," he quickly confirmed, even before you could finish the question. "Don't speak. Breathe."
You were managing to calm down and think more rationally. Understanding hit you like a bucket of cold water, and your embrace made the big burly man he had become freeze. The feeling was so strange. Of course, among so many people, the only one who could save your little son would be his own father. The person with whom he shared half of his genes.
"He's yours, Si," your voice sounded like a spell in his ear, the old nickname sending shivers down his spine. Your tone was so gentle that he barely understood the meaning of the phrase. But soon he felt his lips quivering, recounting the events of the past few months and how unbelievable this would sound if he told this story to someone. "I swear he's yours," you repeated as if that made it easier to assimilate.
The content of that letter invaded his mind again and again. He felt horrible.
Simon pulled you closer to him, your bodies almost merging. You were still beautiful, even in your disheveled state, betraying exhaustion. And even after so much time, it was as if nothing had changed between the two of you. He knew there was a small body behind him, sleeping peacefully in the bed, but he didn't dare to look. He could hear the sound of the machines, and then it all came crashing down on his shoulders at once: he had a son with you. By his calculations, the boy should be 9 years old. Wow! He hadn't seen you in over a decade.
"I have so many questions," he confessed with a choked voice, and you don't remember ever seeing him cry before when you were younger.
"I searched for you so much. I called so many times," the last thing you wanted was to make him feel guilty, but hearing that, he felt like he should have kept searching for you too. As soon as you left, he went asking where your father had gone. He worried and tried to find out something, until enlisted in the army, and then all he did from then on was just think about you; never seeking; never trying in any way to find you again because it seemed easier to accept that you had left forever.
You tried to distance yourself, even though you hated it, to look at his face one more time. Simon allowed you to run your fingers over his features until your eyes landed on your son behind him. He knew where your gaze had gone, but he didn't follow it. And of course, you would understand what was happening.
"Look at him," you pleaded with tenderness, but he shook his head while rubbing his eyes, as if they hurt. "You're hurting me doing this, Simon."
The last thing he wanted was for you to think he was rejecting the boy, so he stood up, fighting the weakness in his legs and slowly approaching the bed. The child's face was turned exactly in his direction, as if anticipating he would be there, but his eyes were closed, and his breathing was peaceful. It was only then that Simon realized how he was hyperventilating until he felt your hand gently pushing him closer.
His heart hammered in his chest, overwhelmed by anxiety and fear, as he watched his pale and still son. Each step was a journey through an ocean of uncertainty, each breath an effort to maintain composure in the face of the storm raging within him.
As he leaned over the fragile and inert body of the boy, a wave of emotions engulfed him. His broken heart cried out to stop the affliction that plagued his son, that beloved being he barely knew.
Tears blurred his vision as he stroked Lucas's hand, so small and vulnerable compared to his, so similar to yours. Each touch was a silent promise to stand by him in every moment, even in the darkest and most painful.
He found himself whispering words of comfort, as if each sentence could ignite a spark of life in his son's dormant soul. He pleaded to the heavens, to the stars, to any higher power that could hear, for a miracle, for a chance to see those childish eyes shine for the first time in his life. He was an identical copy of Simon at that age, and it made him wonder if the color of his irises was also the same, the same shade of brown. A sudden curiosity arose: what was his voice like? Would it sound like yours, so gentle and reassuring, or could it somehow sound like his?
There, in that moment, time seemed to freeze, the whole world disappearing. It was as if he were dreaming. There was no way all of this could be true, someone must be playing a prank on him. He wanted to look at your face again, to smell you while he ran his hands through your hair to make sure it was really you, flesh and blood. "He's going to be okay," he poured out the words, even though he knew the danger in promising that, and you dove into them, knowing you didn't have to face everything alone anymore.

(A/N: prt 3 of Mama Riley! One use of pronouns but it's nothing too gendered. Ignore any spelling error. I wrote part of this half asleep.)
Silence stretches out between you and Mama Riley. She's dropped an absolute bombshell of information so casually, as if it was like talking about the weather. And she's so confident in her statement, leaving no room for argument.
You're not entirely sure how to respond. But you manage to squeak out, “Is that so?” which is such a bad response. You can't help but cringe at yourself.
It makes Mama Riley laugh though. She really does like you. You're a firecracker, in her opinion, and she thinks you'd be good for Simon. But she promises that if you don't want to date him, that's okay. You two were friends before Simon caught feelings, and she won't let anything change that. She tells you to at least consider it.
You spend the next week considering it. Looking back over your interactions with Simon, knowing how he feels, it feels almost obvious. He's tense around you because he likes you. He keeps bringing you gifts and remembering your favorite drink because he likes you.
But where do your own feelings lie? You hated him in the beginning, and gradually warmed up to the mountain of a man. But do you have feelings for him? The thought process makes your head spin, and there's a weird feeling in your chest. The question is no closer to being answered.
Not until he returns from deployment. He's got a new scar on his ear, and there's a limp in his walk. Caught a knife in the side, just barely missed anything important, he informs you and his mum. And your heart clenches at the thought.
Before you can really think about it, you're scolding him for being so casual about being injured. He's got people who care about him, he can't be so flippant about these things. He has a reason to come home, so he needs to act like it. If not for his own sake, then for you and his mom.
Despite the fact that you're chewing him out, there's this tender look on his face, affection in his eyes. He quietly huffs out a ‘yes ma'am/sir’, and the warmth in his eyes is reflected by the warmth growing on your cheeks.
There's a pause, something heavy in the air. Simon opens his mouth, ready to say something, but the moment is broken when Mama Riley comes bustling into the living room, dinner plates in hand. Her eyes dart between the two of you for a moment, a knowing smile on her face. But she doesn't comment on anything, just passes out dinner and settles down on the loveseat.
Over the next few weeks, you and Simon have a lot of tense moments, ready to finally admit your feelings to each other. But each time is ruined by some interruption. Mama Riley interrupts, your phone rings. Once, the kids down the hall came running past, shrieking about the upcoming snowfall.
Poor Simon is trying not to totally lose it. This is the closest he's gotten to admitting his feelings, to have you finally, and every time something interrupts you. He doesn't want to mess this up. It needs to be perfect because, in his head, that's what you deserve, that's how he's going to win you over. Unbeknownst to Simon, he's already won your heart. He just needs to ask you out.
Once again, it's Mama Riley to the rescue. You three have a tradition: the days leading up to Simon's next deployment, you all spend the night at Mama Riley's flat together. Now, Simon's on leave for the next few weeks, but she can't bear to watch the two of you struggle like this.
So she invites you both over, insisting that it'll be nice to have you both over for something fun instead of sad. And then she conveniently remembers that she's got a book club tonight, and she leaves, telling you two to get comfy, watch a movie. She'll be back.
Now's a better time than never, especially since Mama Riley's practically given you the chance. She's gone all of two seconds, before you whip your attention onto Simon, blurting out, “Your mom told me you're in love with me. Is that true?”

Has anyone thought of single mom reader on Halloween night, walking door to door with her child in a homemade costume, who comes upon a super dark house :O
Where you try to discourage them from running up but the temptation for candy is too strong and they drag you with them up the steps towards the bowl, balanced on the knee of a frankly giant skeleton decoration...
Only for Simon to have been sat all night waiting to scare people, especially pretty girls like you, and hey- you kids laughing while Simon drops a huge handful of treats in their pumpkin-shaped basket, already thinking about how he's gonna become the dad that stepped up... and how easy it is to find out where you live by following you home :')

A hockey!au where its Coach John Price, goalie Simon Riley, Johnny MacTavish as a defensemen and Kyle Garrick as a forward. Kate Laswell would be there PR manager and Nikolai is in charge of making they get to each destination on time and (looking at you Garrick) one piece.
Coach Price had a couple of Stanley Cups under his belt from his day as a defensemen. He was known throughout the league as being the dad to his team.
(Kate was the mom).
Simon Riley had a skull painted on his helmet and from some of the PR videos Kate has posted on the teams TikTok page, he was given the nickname Ghost because of how he always seemed to come out of nowhere.
Johnny MacTavish is known as a beast on the ice, but all his hits were so clean, the refs never called a penalty. His opponents started calling him Soap on the ice as a deterrent, but Johnny was Johnny and took it as a compliment.
Kyle Garrick is recorded to be the fastest player in the entire league. He’s a smooth player and well liked in the league, so no wonder Coach Price made him Captain.
Kate Laswell loved her job and the boys she worked with. Price and her go way back to when they were teenagers, so it makes Kate’s job so much easier when the Coach cooperates with her. She also definitely babies the boys and will admit that with a smile on her face.
Nikolai was one of the most famous Russian goalies back in the day, having competed against Price in the past. They both lost a Stanley Cup to each other but after retiring from the game, they found they had a lot in common.
(Price is the first openly gay Coach in the league, and the boys couldn’t be any prouder.)

Don’t mind me I thirst for these cod men and for hockey players leave me alone 💀

MOM
Reader is a combat medic, a BIG sweeth tooth and a mother to 141 boys (dont forget can cook too) a waifu material
In case with Los Vaqueros
Tumblr media
Masterlist
After they accomplish their mission the 141 task force will be holding a small feast with Los Vaqueros to strengthen their ties of brotherhood
All brotherhood aside...their true intention is....to taste again the meal you made, and now Alejandro and Rudy join the party
Two days before the party, reading your recipe book inside your office, knowing the boys will have a big appetite
'maybe I'll make taco for the snack...or maybe naco with guacamole..?....guhh..but what if they don't like it? I'll be making another country's cuisines, I don't want to offend them or something like that..'
Then you pick up your phone beside you texting Alejandro what they want for the meal, but then you shake your head putting back your phone beside you unfolding your laptop searching for the recipe you're going to make
"I promise them it would be a surprise after all, if I ask him he would know what Im making"
"Making what?" suddenly Kyle barged into your office with his innocent eyes, immediately snapped your laptop shut and gave him a wary smile
"Kyle!~ ohh..hoo...what are doing here hun?"
"Do I have a reason to hanging around with our beautiful Doc?"
"Well since my sweets stock has been decreasing these last few days, Im getting more suspicious with you boys hanging around my office" You shot Gaz a look when he opened your cabinet, and beamed when he saw his favorite candy
"Thanks for calling me beautiful though"
with a mouth full of candy he faced you and gave you a thumbs-up
"Say Doc ...what is the menu for the party?"
"Well...Im just going to research about it..Alejandro, Rudy and some of the Vaqueros will come..I want to try some of the Mexican cuisine...." Gaz furrowing his eyebrow sensing a hesitation in your tone and doubt
"But?" he walks to your desk
"..well our taste buds are different from them and..well..." pursing your lips
"Doc.. Im sure whatever you're making they'll like it.."
"You..sure?"
"Positive..side's who doesn't like your cooking? Ghost always asks for more...."
"hmp...yeah...5 plates, after that he asked for a snack...no wonder he's huge I still remember that one time when the canteen almost lost its ingredients for one month" you huff at him, but because of him it eases all of your worries and you've decided that you're going to make both taco and naco for the snack, now for the main dish and drink...
'Oh well let's just make barbecue and fruit punch, good thing the boys aren't picky....and got a big appetite oh..maybe some cake or pastries would be nice~..'
Notice the beam in your eyes Gaz smiled gladly to ease all your worries
.
.
2 days after, as promised the Vaqueros came to 141 base Captain Price welcomed them followed by Gaz beside him
"Good to see you again Colonel Vargas" Price said firmly shaking Alejandro's hand
"Captain Price, you too comrade!"
"Come Soap and Ghost are waiting for you inside, let just hope they did not gobble up the food..." Price escorted them to the canteen
"I've heard Doc the one who making it?"
"Aye...along she my best medic she is the best cook here, I sure you'll love it Colonel" Price proudly boasts about you
"Can't wait to taste it then...I've heard a lot from Soap"
"heh bloke always bragging about her ..a lot" Price huffs a smirk planted against his face, as they arrive at the canteen
They could smell the barbeque....and hear the arguing of Soap with Ghost
"THE F**** Johnny! you almost burnt it!" barked Ghost furiously fanning the smoke out of his masked face
"Well WHY don't YOU try it?!" challenged Soap as he tried to undo his mistake...but alas what was already done...is done
"Both of you! please just sit down!" you intervene them before getting heated, placing your hand against Soap's chest you quickly flip all the meat and the other vegetables, ordering both of them to sit down with your 'mom stare'
Like a disobedient child they sat, but not before kicking each other legs
Price facepalming as Alejandro just chuckles along with Rudy
"Hermano! We've come!" announced Alenjadro
"Alenjandro!, good to see you again brother!" beamed Soap as he rushed to Alejandro giving him a brotherly hug
As they reunited you huffed and took care of the barbeque, really you just took a minute to take some of the sauce in the kitchen and you asked for Ghost and Soap to take care of the barbecue
"Damn...this one is burnt...oh well..I guess this one is on my plate" mutter you the ever sacrifice placed the burnt one on your plate can't let any these boys of yours eat any burnt food on their off day
"Good to see you again Doc.." greeted Alejandro, as Rudy politely nodded at you
"Ah! yes Alejandro, Rudy! sorry I little late for the prepare, damnit Soap.." you mumbled cursing for your own stupidity to leave the cooking to the boys
"You want any help Hermana?" asks the sweet Rudy, you smile kindly at him
"No need Rudy, you're the guest here-"
"I insist Doc..." he insisted with a soft look in his eyes that made you melted
"Alright then...um..ah could you pour the soda inside the fruit punch there"
"Sure thing..all of it?" you nodded and he obediently poured all of the transparent soda inside the fruit punch, Alejandro stared at you in the slideness focusing on the barbecues pleased to see you again
"Okay..Boys!! the food ready!"
Then Soap immediately rushed to your side and raised his palm, reminding him to eat the vegetables you gave him his plate as you give all of them their portions you take your plate
Rudy  noticed that your portion was full of burnt BBQ, and he huffed at the ever the sacrificed you, when he offered you his good portion you refused him as you chuckled softy at him and said ‘Nah it's alright you enjoy your own I will make it again sides it brings more flavor to it’ tenderly gazing at the boys reminding you of your troublesome siblings
Damn he really want to take you away to his house and make you his wife
With so much laugh and joy they all eat, not forget the snacks and some pastries you make all of their exhaustment and the gore memory of the battle gone when they eat your cooking
"Ahh..s****...mine gone.."
"Damn Soap.. that's your third plate" grumble Ghost
"Betta’ me then you LT" Soap squinting his eyes at Ghosts who munching away his food like a hamster his cheeks storing the barbecue on his cheeks
Tumblr media
“need more barbeque Gaz?” ask you noticing his empty plate, shaking his head Gaz takes one of the tacos on the big plate
“no need love, I’ll take the taco”
“ask me if you need more barbeque okay? I’ll make it again” smiled softly Gaz nodded, and then Price walked to you placing his rough hand on your shoulder
“Just take it easy Doc, I’ll take care of the boys  just enjoy the feast yeah?”
“you sure Cap?”
“Positive” he rubbed your shoulder and pushed you gently back into your seat, both Alejandro and Rudy noticed the tender gaze from Price as he caressed your head this went unnoticed by you
Deep inside both of them felt a pang of jealousy, and then Alejandro approached you with his plate in his hand
“Evening Doc”
“Ah Alejandro!  Sorry, I'm not greeting you properly...” Shaking his head Alejandro chuckles
“don't mind it Doc, I really enjoyed the feast you made though wonder Soap bragging about it” he gave you a charming smile that made you flustered (Oh God I thank you for making such a dashing creature like him)
“i-its not really something to brag about...I just love to cook for the boys thats all..” his thick eyebrow twitching
‘for the boys’...now that REALLY making him jealous of the 141 men
“Ever thinking of transfers to another team Doc?” asks Alejandro suddenly
Out of instinct, the 141 task force eavesdropped the conversation, squinting their eyes at Alejandro while Rudy quietly observed them slurping his fruit punch
“Well...”you trail..staring at your half eaten burnt barbeque (made with love by SOAP) the atmosphere becomes tense of course this goes unnoticed by you, glancing at the boys who immediately act like they didn’t eavesdrop on your conversation
Smiled at the boys you glance at Alejandro
“Nope not at all..” raised his thick eyebrows, a disappointment filled his chest alas he still smiled and faced his body towards you his gaze flickering to 141 who smiled proudly at your remark, then back to you
 “...may..I ask why?”ask him
“I..enjoy the time I spend with them..well..except when we are on the mission that is..heh..and I doubt they’ll allow me to transfer  to another team” After that you drink the fruit punch
“Ah..right..of course...they are deeply in love with you Doc” claims Alejandro, you bashfully chuckle while the others snap their head towards Alejandro with their eyes popping out
“yeah...more like they in love with my cooking heh those rascal..”
The 141 sighed in relief but was somehow frustrated that you didn’t take a hint
The Colonel again raised his eyebrow as he glanced at the 141 who were slightly slumped but still munching away their food, then Alejandro realized
‘she..doesn’t notice it ..does she?’
“Why the question?” ask youwhile taking a bite of your taco, Alejandro smirking wiping a speck of sauce on your cheeks with his thumb as he leans toward your face
“A-Alejandro?” your face flushed red and squeak when his nose touched yours
“If you would change your mind..would you like to become one of us? Besides..I would be at ease to have the woman I am attracted to in my team”
“W-wha?!”
A looming and rage aura came from the 141 body , Rudy just could pray that Alejandro came home safely
Suddenly Alejandro chuckles and leans away from your flushed face, booping your nose as you stare at him dazed and confused
“Kidding hermana, but really if you ever change your mind Vaqueros would always welcome you~”
“A-ah..okay..thank you..for the offer..” nomming the nachos you faced away from Alejandro, when you faced away from him Alejandro glanced at the 141 and shot them a smug smirk, Rudy just stared at him deadpan
‘oh...Ale..I hope you are back home safely..’

i have baby fever so that might be a cause of this but i think abt Simon's chubby babies so often :-(((
this big intimidating man that your little baby has wrapped around her finger and he would move mountains if only she asked :-(
Simon is definitely quiet but he's not shy. when he's with his daughter at the playground he'll push her on the swing, for hours or as long as she'd asked him to, stand at the end of the slide to catch her, and hold her around the waist when she goes through the monkey bars :,-)
your daughter coming home and blabbering half coherent sentences about her park day with daddy and how she's fully convinced that he's a superhero because he magically appeared to catch her when she tripped and fell over a puddle
